You are Vamp-triffic!
"And that was when I picked up the amazing multitool, gave it a quick but dramatic spin around and then placed it in its slot which caused the fireworks to come shooting out of the ground!" Lorcan answered with a sly grin on his face, reliving a single fang. "Are you a fan of my music, Ernie MacMillan? Did you see the just mentioned performance? Did you enjoy seeing me on stage? I'm wonderful, aren't I?"
"Mr. D'Earth, for the last time I have not seen any of your concerts before the year 1980," Ernie answered dryly as he quickly and skilfully added to his notes about his current and ongoing interview for the Daily Prophet. "Mr. D'Earth, how did you get into the music industry? Being part vampire, especially in those, ah..., times before the protection laws were put into place, and with it being during the Dark Lords reign?"
"It was hard but with everyone working together we pulled through. We had a friend who knew someone who had a rather interesting suitcase that he used to put magical creatures of all sizes and shapes in. As soon as the friend found out about this rather interesting suitcase, as it was the first of its kind back then, we found out how to have one ourselves which we used to keep certain items in that were either important or much needed and had not been made legal yet," Lorcan replied simply only for a suggestive smirk to appear on his face as he raised his eyebrow. "Do you dream of me? Do you wish for us to become one? I am still searching you know, for the one who will make me whole. Might you be the person I have been looking for?"
"You will not be sweet talking me to get any free, willingly given blood out of me Mr. D'Earth, I have heard the stories, and I have an idea about how you can make a person feel during the blood feeding procedure," Ernie stated bluntly as he paused in his note taking to look Lorcan straight in the eyes. "I am no fool, while reporters such as Rita Skeeter, or anything else you seem to think that I might do to get a good story."
"I know that you are no fool, my handsome little newspaper worker. After all, if you were then the great musician known as Lorcan D'Earth would not be currently trying to woo you, would he?" Lorcan asked as he gave his best bedroom look only to get shot down by a blank and unimpressed look from Ernie. "What type of part vampire male named Lorcan do you go for then, hot stuff?"
"Mr. D'Earth, if you really must know then it will definitely not be you. To begin with you are way to self centred; you will do anything for yourself. I did not see and do things with the rest of Dumbledore's Army during the war to give up on things are changing after the war for one simple quick fling," Ernie said as his gaze hardened over the brown wooden table. "This leads us nicely on to our next question of the interview. Now that you have more rights and protections thanks to the new Ministry do you think that you will be taking advantage of the new laws to try and find your one true mate?"
"Ahhh, do not be like that. I much prefer how your eyes shine with emotion when you truly come alive, unlike me!" Lorcan gave a handsome smile only for Ernie to give a dry sigh. "I have an idea! What if you and I blow this blood-sicle stand and go for a date?"
Ernie groaned. "First of all the saying is 'let's blow this popsicle stand', please get it right. Also I have no intention of going out on a date with you; we both know that I am happy with my life the way it is and I have no intention of making any big changes in the future."
"Maybe not in the future but in the present?" Lorcan suggested with a raised eyebrow, enjoying the groan of emotions that came out of Ernie's lips. "Just think about it my lovely warm blood bag. You would have a longer life, less suffering, someone who truly treasures you besides you and-"
"Mr. D'Earth, stop with your sweet talk and answer my questions," Ernie snapped out, cutting Lorcan off in the middle of his flow. "We both know why I am here today talking to you and I do not want to have to go away from this interview with a bunch of facts that could either paint you in a negative light or even seem like they have been copied from previous interviews which in turn could mean a lot of trouble for both of us so why do you not stop with your untrue words and just tell me the answers to my questions so I can be on my way and you can get on with whatever you want to."
"Call me Lorcan my dear and I will gladly give you any answers you wish for as long as you in return give me the ones I want," Lorcan replied with a fanged smile only for it to fall as he was faced with the less than impressed look from Erine. "Now do not be like that my pet."
"And you should do well to remember that I am not like Skeeter, I will not get into your bed or let you try my blood just to get one or two answers," Erine answered as he gave Lorcan a raised eyebrow. "So stop it and let us just complete this newspaper article."
"You need to relax some and not worry so much about your work," Lorcan said as he let out a tutting sound only to smirk as Erine shot him 'I'm not impressed' look and folded his arms. "Come now, do not be like that. Besides, Skeeter was the one who was always asking me and I was the one always turning her down. Compared to you Skeeter was nothing, nothing at all."
"Nothing at all? What do you mean?" Erine asked only to quickly pull his curiosity back and return to professional reporter mode. "Stop trying to steer our conversation off course Mr. D'Earth and answer the questions. Even after all this time that we have spent together I have yet to be able to get one sensible answer out of you and I am sure that you have other reporters who are waiting for an interview with yourself."
"Nope, there are no one else, I made sure of that," Lorcan answered with a seductive smirk on his face as he enjoyed watching Erine's face cover a wide range of emotions. "As soon as I found out today that you would be one of the reporters coming to see me I made sure that the rest of the day is clear."
Erine frowned. "Why?"
"It is quite simple really, if only you stopped and thought about it instead of thinking only about your silly report," Lorcan said as he took out the parchment and quill from Erine's hands and placed them on the table besides them. "I want you, I want you to me mine and no one else's."
End.
