Note: Goku did NOT die during the Cell Games.

After putting an end to the maniacal monster known as Cell, and cleansing the evil from Super 18, life on earth has remained in peace. Approximately one year has passed since Dr. Gero's vendetta was put to rest. Dissatisfied that he couldn't defeat Cell or Super Eighteen, Goku trained profusely for one whole year, to objectively boost his power. After witnessing Super Eighteen's power, Goku knew she would be his ultimate challenge.

(Note: As I'm sure most people are aware, saiyans love the thrill of a good fight. Goku is no exception to this. He loves the chance to fight someone strong. It's ingrained in his DNA to fight, as most saiyan's do. Regardless of who they are or how powerful they are, Goku will fight with them.)

Goku spent most of his time training with Gohan. Though Chi Chi would occasionally interfere to remind Gohan to not fall behind in his studies. She of course wants him to get into a good school when he is older. Eager to test his strength against the Super Android, Goku teleports to Kame House using Instant Transmission, where he finds Master Roshi asleep in a lawn chair with a magazine over his face; Goku's unexpected and sudden appearance startles Roshi, "What! Goku! You can't just sneak up on me like that!" he shouted.

"Sure I can! It's called Instant Transmission! I've been training for one whole year!" excitedly replied Goku.

"Really? A whole year?" asked Roshi

"Yeah, I came to see Krillin and Eighteen." replied Goku.

"Are you gonna fight?" asked Roshi

"Perhaps, Eighteen gave us the toughest fight we've ever had. I'd like another opportunity to test my powers against her." explained Goku.

"I can see you haven't changed at all, Goku. Always ready to meet the next challenge, even if it's bigger than you are." replied Roshi.

"Well sure, I gotta have some way to test my strength." replied Goku.

"I see, my word, that the wife of Krillin's is a tough one for sure. You sure you know what you're doing, Goku?" asked Roshi.

"Yeah, she's tough for sure, but that's the way I like em." replied Goku with excitement in his voice.

"Well they're out back. Krillin mentioned something about training every morning. It's hard to get any shut-eye with all that racket. If you're gonna fight, go elseway. I can't have my only home destroyed." replied the worrisome Roshi.

"Sure thing!" replied Goku.

Goku hears the sound of clashing, and energy waves. This alerts him to the back of Kame House where he finds Super Eighteen and Krillin having a sparring match. To give him a chance, Super Eighteen reduced her power to one percent. Throughout their relationship, Krillin's kindness has shown the Super Android another way of life, that she can take responsibility with her power just like Goku. Try as he might, Krillin struggles against her, even at one percent. He tries attacking her with punches and kicks, to no avail, she blocks all his attacks with ease. Super Eighteen took an oath that she wouldn't harm Krillin, because of this she only attacks Krillin with gusts of wind from her palm, never actually striking him. On the bright side of things, this allows Krillin to train hard without getting seriously hurt.

"Come on Krillin, you can do better than this." said Super Eighteen, disappointed with Krillin's progress.

Krillin powers up and places his hands together, performing a Kamehameha, firing it straight down. Super Eighteen knocks it away with a simple slap. Next, Krillin launches a Destructo Disc; once again, the powerful android counters the attack with a Destructo Disc of her own. The two discs collide in the air and explode, voiding them out. Finally Krillin tries another melee assault, which proves his efforts are futile when she stops all his attacks. Krillin backs off panting heavily, unable to make any progress.

"I think that's enough for today. We can train more tomorrow." said Super Eighteen, noticing Krillin's fatigue.

"Yeah...I'm sorry honey, I'll try harder next time." replied Krillin in disappointment.

"You did your best. That's all that matters. We'll try again tomorrow, and each time I'll make it harder for you." replied Super Eighteen.

"Umm...what? Harder...gosh, don't you think that's a little harsh?" asked Krillin, slightly afraid of this idea.

"Absolutely not, the only way for you to learn is to be hard on you." replied Super Eighteen.

Krillin didn't completely like this idea, but he accepted it. Though he may find this task harder than he assumes. But his worries are quickly forgotten when he spots Goku a little further back, "Hey, it's Goku!" he said with a smile.

"How's it going Krillin? Nice light show earlier." said Goku.

"Oh...umm...you saw us sparring?" replied Krillin.

"Yeah, looks like Eighteen is training you hard Krillin. I better watch out. You might be stronger than me someday hahaha." jokingly replied Goku.

"Hahaha, like the good old days. I still remember the day we first met." replied Krillin.

"Yeah, it was a doozy for sure." cheerfully replied Goku.

"So Goku what's up? What did you stop by for?" asked Krillin.

"Oh, I just came by to say hi. We are best friends after all. Not to mention, I'd like to invite Eighteen to a sparring session if that's okay." requested Goku.

"Well...it's been a whole year...you think you're ready?" asked Krillin.

"As ready as I'll ever be. Gohan will be there too." replied Goku.

Krillin turns to his wife, "Well what'd you think dear?" he asked.

"A sparring match between Goku and Gohan? Okay, I'm game; but what about Vegeta? Doesn't he want a part in this as well?" asked Super Eighteen.

"Not so much, Vegeta isn't the type to train with others if you know what I mean. He prefers to train alone. Not to mention, I think he's still upset from our previous battle. It might be the whole killing Trunks, and humiliating him after he went ballistic." said Goku.

"Well, what goes around comes around I guess. I am sorry for the mess when we first met. I haven't quite forgiven Vegeta for letting Cell fulfill his obsession." replied Super Eighteen.

"Perhaps, he may be a hothead sometimes, but he's actually a good guy underneath it all, once you get to know him." replied Goku.

"I see, this sparring match sounds interesting, when do we start?" asked Super Eighteen.

"Now." replied Goku.

"What? Right here?" asked Super Eighteen.

"No, not here. First we have to make a quick stop by Bulma's place. She has something for you." replied Goku.

"For me?" asked Super Eighteen, slightly curious.

"Yeah, it's a surprise that I think you'll like." replied Goku.

Overhearing the news greatly excites Krillin, "Alright! I knew Bulma could come through for us. I overheard her talking about it." he said cheerfully.

After a short moment of glee, Goku and the Super Android prepare for departure. Eighteen gives her husband one last request before leaving, "Krillin I'm counting on you to watch over Marron while I'm gone." she requested

"Of course, it'll be exactly the same as when you left. I wish I could go but I think I'm way too outclassed to keep up with you guys. Maybe Yamcha can stop by for some training." replied Krillin.

"Nah, last time I heard, Yamcha gave up training. I think he's focused more on life." replied Goku.

"That Yamcha, I guess it's just something he'll never learn." replied Krillin.

Goku and Eighteen wave goodbye to Krillin as the two set off, traveling to Bulma's Place (Capsule Corporation) When they arrive, Bulma introduces herself to Eighteen, and explains how she previously worked on Android 16. Bulma then asks Eighteen to lay down on her examination table to do a quick analysis of Super Eighteen's data; the android proceeds with this request while Bulma explains the data.

"According to the data, it looks like you androids have infinite stamina. It's all controlled by some infinite energy source, meaning you don't fatigue in battle. But I don't think that's going to be enough. I will add saiyan cells to your body, allowing you to get a zenkai boost like a saiyan can when they recover from near death. That should make you the ultimate android! I also see Dr. Gero also added a temperature regulator so hot or cold environments are not a problem. He literally thought of everything! If only he had used his talents for good, the world could have some amazing inventions! My conclusion is that Super Android Eighteen was created to destroy Goku. Just like Android Sixteen. The only difference is, Eighteen is parly organic. Goku, you should be really happy she's on our side!" concluded Bulma.

"Wow! That's amazing! Wait till I tell Vegeta!" said Goku with excitement.

Super Eighteen got up from the table, "Yes, my mission was to kill Goku even though I have chosen not to." she said.

"I see, from the data I collected it appears you're able to make your own choices. Half Human Half Android; what a brilliant combination!" said an astounded Bulma.

"Is Vegeta here?" asked Eighteen.

"Yes, he's out back training in the gravity machine my father built. Ever since the battle with Cell, he's done nothing but train the entire time. He won't even stop to eat something, or take a shower." advised Bulma.

"Sounds like Vegeta is perfectly normal. You know how important it is for him to keep up with my strength level." replied Goku.

Super Eighteen walks towards the back door with a very serious face.

"Where are you going?" asked Goku.

"I need to have a word with him. I've got a little unfinished business to settle with him." replied Super Eighteen.

"Hey, wait a minute! Last time you mentioned unfinished business Trunk was killed." replied Goku with concern.

"Relax, I just have a little something to workout with him. Vegeta hasn't always made the brightest decisions in the past." replied Super Eighteen.

"Oh, you mean about that whole thing with Cell?" asked Goku.

"Yes, I still haven't forgiven him for that." replied Super Eighteen slightly upset.

"I see, what are you gonna do?" asked Goku.

"Just going to teach Vegeta a small lesson in etiquette." replied Super Eighteen.

The Super Android opens the back door and steps outside where the large capsule ship sits. She pushes a button on the side of the ship opening the door and folds out a staircase.

Bulma wasn't fond of this idea, "Hey! I don't think so!" she said, stepping forward in an angry manner, attempting to foil Super Eighteen's plot.

Goku stops Bulma by placing his arm in front of her, "No, just let her go Bulma. You have to understand that Eighteen has to sort this out with Vegeta. It's between them, if we try to stop it, it'll only end up happening sooner or later." he explained.

"Just what exactly happened anyway?" asked Bulma, slightly confused and upset.

"Oh, I guess no one ever told you. Hmm...now where to begin. It was during our battle with Cell. Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, and I all decided to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in order to go up against Cell. You were there. You gave us saiyan combat suits just after Vegeta and Trunks were finished." reminisced Goku.

"Oh yeah, I remember. Vegeta flew off eager to fight Cell. His powers went to his head, thinking he could beat Cell all by himself." replied Bulma as she remembered the past events.

"Well I think Cell was the one who underestimated Vegeta. Piccolo told me all about it. Vegeta got the upperhand on Cell, revealing the training in the chamber worked. Cell talked Vegeta into letting him absorb Eighteen so he could have the thrill of fighting a stronger opponent. Cell eventually found Eighteen and absorbed her to complete his evolution." explained Goku.

Bulma was completely shocked, "You mean...Vegeta risked the lives of everyone and this whole planet to fulfill his own pride?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yes, I'm afraid so...you see, that is why Eighteen is upset. Things have a way of working themselves out." replied Goku placing his hand on Bulma's shoulder.

Finally hearing the truth Vegeta never told her about, Bulma took a step back in disbelief. She withdrew from stopping Super Eighteen, and slowly began to understand her feelings towards Vegeta. Like Goku said, sometimes things have to work out on their own.

Super Eighteen enters the capsule ship where she encounters Vegeta, who is training at five hundred times earth's gravity. Stepping into the intense gravity didn't seem to affect her very much. Seeing her was both shocking and confusing to Vegeta. He deactivated the training simulation, disbanding the security robots, "What the hell do you want Android? Can't you see I'm busy?" he said with great annoyance.

"I've come to inform you that I haven't forgotten about that stunt you pulled during the battle with Cell. More to the point, I simply ask for a confession." requested Super Eighteen.

"Confession? What?" asked Vegeta, very confused.

"Do I really have to spell it out for you Vegeta? You let Cell absorb me to fulfill your own selfish desires. I wasn't strong enough to teach you a lesson before. But now things are different. However, I'm willing to let it go, and put the past behind us; all you have to do is apologize." stated Super Eighteen.

"Hahaha, oh that. I told you during our battle; I won't go easy on you just because you're a woman. Me? Apologize to you? That's a good one. You managed to make me laugh if that's what you came to do." replied Vegeta with a chuckle.

"I thought you might say that. It's too bad Vegeta. I was really hoping you had changed for the better. I guess I'll have to ." replied an irritated Super Eighteen.

Vegeta continued to mock the android, thinking his training for one year is enough to overthrow her. But Vegeta soon discovers he's still nowhere close to her power, as he hasn't even achieved Super Saiyan 2 yet.

Super Eighteen quickly flew directly at Vegeta, headbutting him in the face. The pain was sharp, intense, and traumatizing. Vegeta slowly steps back as blood runs down his face, above his right eye.

Revealing her real power, Super Eighteen decides to play with Vegeta's ego, "So what do you think of this pain Vegeta? It hurts much worse than it did last time doesn't it?" she teased.

Vegeta could hardly believe she packed that much of a punch into one attack. But he still refused to give in and foolishly attempted to attack, leading to being pummeled by her with a punch to the face. Vegeta's back slammed into the gravity machine in the center of the room and slid down, dazing him in the process. The Super Android then steps on Vegeta's right arm and presses down, nearly breaking his arm again (As she did on the highway) she continues to press down harder until Vegeta screams, painfully submitting to her, "Alright!" he shouted in agony.

Super Eighteen slightly relieves the pressure, "Go on, I want to hear you say it Vegeta." she demanded.

The pain was simply too great for Vegeta to ignore, he submits to the android, "I'm...sorry…" he said painfully.

Super Eighteen removes her foot, completely relieving Vegeta of the pain as he reverts to base form, inhaling and exhaling. She walks towards the exit, stopping just a few feet away, "Take Care now and don't train too hard. I wouldn't want you to be crushed." she teased, playing with Vegeta's ego as she exited the ship.

Returning to the outside, Super Eighteen is met by Goku, who quickly questions her, "What happened?" he asked in a concerned voice.

"Nothing too serious Goku. Vegeta will be fine. I just gave him a little attitude adjustment. Though he might want to take a break for training for a couple of days." said Super Eighteen with great gratification in her voice.

"Vegeta is actually a good guy underneath it all. It's not necessarily his fault. Frieza is the one who's responsible for Vegeta's backlash. All those years of serving under Frieza would make anyone crazy." explained Goku.

"Perhaps, but what Vegeta did is something I couldn't let go. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. What goes around, comes around. I think Vegeta will think twice from now on." replied Super Eighteen.

"I see, well it looks like we're all done here. Ready to go?" asked Goku.

"Yes, let's go." replied Super Eighteen.

Goku places his hand on her shoulder, transporting them to the Lookout, where they're greeted by Dende, "Their here!" he announced.

Piccolo, Gohan, and Mr. Popo all come over to meet with them, though Piccolo and Gohan are slightly concerned about fighting with Super Eighteen once again due to their recent experience. It wasn't a fond memory, but in the past; it also took time for The Dragon Team to accept Vegeta as well.

(Note: only a couple of months have passed since The Cell Games, so Gohan is still a teen)

After a short welcome, Goku announces that it's time for battle, "Alright let's get started." he said with a thrilling voice.

"Very well, but before we start, I wanted to let you know I promised Krillin that I wouldn't hurt any of you all that much." advised Super Eighteen.

"Hey, I like having a challenge… Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever faced a female opponent of your strength. Should be interesting!" replied Goku with excitement.

The sparring match begins with Goku powering up to Super Saiyan and attacking Super Android with a flying punch. Super Eighteen quickly puts up her forearm, blocking it. She abruptly ends Goku's assault with two simple blows, a strong knee to the stomach, and a light punch to the nose, making blood drip from his face; both respectively dazing him as he reels backwards in slight pain.

"Don't tell me you're ready to throw in the towel already Goku. I'm just warming up right now." said Super Eighteen, noticing Goku's pain.

Goku didn't reply. He shook off the pain and tried attacking again, which again failed when the Super Android grabbed him by the arm and flung him hard into the inner building of the Lookout, collapsing on top of him. It was clear Super Eighteen only used simple, non lethal attacks against Goku; keeping her promise to Krillin not to seriously injure his friends.

With his father temporarily out of the picture, Gohan knows it's his turn next as he powers up to Super Saiyan 2 and locks eyes with the Super Android, creating a standoff, waiting to see who's going to attack first; for these are currently the two strongest fighters on earth. Gohan didn't let Super Eighteen's look of intimidation get to him. She baits Gohan into attacking first, "Your move Gohan." she said, provoking him. This slightly aggravates Gohan, making him strike first with a ki blast from his hand.

Super Eighteen easily avoids this with super speed, disappearing just before it makes contact. She appears behind Gohan, and the two clash in an array of melee attacks. For every attack Gohan did, Super Eighteen returned with equal power. Their intense speed was very difficult for anyone else to keep up with. Gohan manages to get the upper hand, kicking the powerful Android hard in the gut, plummeting her into the hard floor of the lookout which makes a silhouette looking crater. Annoyed and slightly angry, Super Eighteen stood up with small scraps, "So you want to play rough Gohan." she said in a serious voice.

(Note: To clarify, Super Eighteen is slightly stronger than Super Saiyan 2. I really don't think this is unreasonable considering she was originally above Super Saiyan to begin with. The androids were always meant to be very powerful. Like I mentioned in the previous chapter, I don't see the problem at all. It's just something to get used to.)

Gohan didn't reply to the android; he instead stood firm in a fighting pose waiting for her to attack. Super Eighteen creates a large Destructo Disc above her head and uses it on Gohan, which he avoids, flying straight up. This was merely a clever trick set in motion by Eighteen, she cannot be detected through ki-sense, so she uses this distraction to her advantage; cutting in front of Gohan's path and kicking him hard in the spine, which causes him great pain as he plummets to the ground, destroying a small chunk of the lookout upon contact. The Young Super Saiyan quickly gets up and cups his hands, concentrating his ki into a single point, "Kamehameha!" he shouts as he uses the famous technique his father taught him.

Super Eighteen flies straight up to avoid it. Gohan commands the attack, making it follow the Android, who begins to guide it away from the Lookout. Her display of speed is quite impressive as she gains a good distance between herself and the Kamehameha wave. Once far enough away, she counters Gohan's Kamehameha with a massive Kamehameha of her own. The waves clash in the air creating a shockwave throughout the Lookout; blowing Mr. Popo and Dende away.

Gohan was quite confused about how she knew the Kamehameha technique. But then it hit him, Super Eighteen has been living with Krillin all this time, there's no doubt that she learned it from over time just like the Destructo Disc. The Kamehameha struggle heats up as Gohan pushes more power into it. Eighteen pushes back, leaving them in a stalemate of power, making pieces of the lookout slowly break away. However, Super Eighteen never runs out of energy, so she could no doubt hold out indefinitely until Gohan's strength gives out. Both fighters continue pushing more of their power until the force becomes so great that it explodes, sending both fighters spinning away. Eventually they regain momentum and return to the floor.

"Nice light show Gohan, you're indeed powerful. But I know what you did." said Super Eighteen.

"Huh?" asked Gohan, very confused.

"You pushed most of your power into that Kamehameha attack you saiyans seem so fond of; meaning all your power is drained, while I still remain strong. Didn't Goku teach you how to conserve power for when it's needed?" asked Super Eighteen.

"Funny coming from someone who did the same thing." replied Gohan in a skeptical voice.

"The difference is, I have unlimited energy. Us androids use a different power source than you saiyans do; meaning your fight is over Gohan." explained Super Eighteen.

"What! That's not true!" shouted Gohan in frustration.

Gohan calls her bluff, foolishly attacking her again with very aggressive punches and kicks; to no avail, she blocks them all with ease. Gohan appeared to show signs of fatigue; his attacks were slow, sloppy, and easy to counter; insinuating Super Eighteen's earlier statement that Gohan foolishly pushed nearly all of his energy into earlier kamehameha struggle, decreasing his power. Eighteen uses the same tactic she did against Vegeta on the highway back when the Androids first appeared. Gohan burns up a lot of his energy to the point of near exhaustion. Super Eighteen knew this was the moment to strike, pummeling the young Super Saiyan in three mighty blows; a knee to the nose, a kick to the gut, and an uppercut to the cheek. Spit flew from his mouth as he launched upwards, where he's knocked down hard by the powerful android with a double fist punch to his spine. Gohan hit the floor hard making a small crater, forming small cuts and scrapes throughout his body. Lastly, Super Eighteen seals the deal on Gohan by firing a barrage of small yellow ki blasts, "AAAAHHHHH!" painfully screamed Gohan as the barrage forms into one huge sphere that explodes shortly after.

"Oops, I think I may have overdid it a little." said Super Eighteen sarcastically.

When the smoke cleared, Gohan laid unconscious in the crater with his clothes torn. The Young Super Saiyan fought well, but the Super Android was quite a fearsome opponent. Thinking the battle is over, Super Eighteen stood confidently rubbing her hands together, showing satisfaction with herself. But her brief victory is abruptly cut short by a sneak attack from Goku, "Kamehameha!" he shouts. Goku's clever attack fails as Super Eighteen quickly knocks it away with a backhand slap, "A sneak attack? Clever Goku, but you'll have to try harder than that." she said in a taunting manner.

"Hahaha, I intend to, you just wait." replied Goku with a smile.

Goku tries another assault, which again fails as she blocks all of them. He was getting nowhere fast, and clearly out classed. The Super Android's powers far exceeded Goku's expectations, quickly understanding why she's classified as "Super Android" She quickly picks the Super Saiyan apart, pummeling him with rapid strikes; ending with a strong punch to the abdomen, knocking the wind out of the mighty Super Saiyan, reverting him to base form. Goku drops to his knees out of power. Astonished by her strength, Goku proclaims his review of the fight, "Well I have to admit, you're pretty tough. I guess Bulma wasn't joking when she said you were designed to kill us."

Super Eighteen smiles at the thought of being given the gratitude of a supreme fighter, "I'll take that as a compliment Goku. I'm sure there will be a time in the future where we'll fight again." she said.

"For sure, it looks like Gohan and I have a lot of training to do." replied Goku.

By this time, Gohan finally awoke and made his way out of the crater; ready for a second round.

Eighteen's eyes perked up, astounded at Gohan's determination, "Wow, you're tough, I'll give you that much. But I told you before, you've already been beaten. You should give up. It's pointless to continue." she said.

Gohan stood his ground, tightening his fist, silently challenging the Android to battle again. Goku quickly stops the challenge by walking in front of his son, "Enough son." he said in a controlling voice. "That's enough for today, Gohan. Let's call it a day and discuss what we can do better next time."

Gohan felt a bit confused by his father's demands, but he respects his father a great deal so he gives in, "Okay dad, whatever you want; I guess I let my powers go to my head again." he said in a disappointed voice.

"Hey, you can't expect to win every battle. You did your best, even if you gave your maximum all at once." replied Goku with a proud smile. "Now what do you say we get something to eat? I don't know about you, but all this fighting has worked up an appetite; I'm starving!"

"Haha, yeah!" replied Gohan with excitement.

Goku pulls out a bag of senzu beans from his belt, "Here, I almost forgot, take this." he said, offering a bean to his son.

Gohan accepts, swallowing the bean. He immediately feels the results, his muscles pump up as he regains his strength.

"So that's it? We're done for the day?" asked Super Eighteen slightly baffled.

"Yep, you're a lot stronger than I expected you to be. I was hoping you and I could fight again someday? I will ascend to the next level and beat you." he said with a confident look and voice.

"If you can keep up." taunted Super Eighteen.

"Perhaps, but fighting with you has given me the opportunity to learn about myself, as a person, and a fighter; so for what it's worth, I thank you." replied Goku honoring the android's strength.

Eighteen tries to brush off Goku's honor as if she didn't care. But she slowly acquired respect for him; and though it's programmed in her DNA to despise Goku, it's hard for her to dislike such a noble warrior, "Just take us back home Goku." she said with an uncaring face.

"You Bet!" excitedly replied Goku laying his other hand on Gohan's shoulder, transporting the three of them back to Kame House.

Meanwhile, the damaged and trashed Lookout wasn't a pleasant sight for Dende and Mr. Popo, "Oh no, our precious home!" said Mr. Popo in a sad voice.

"I know, it's gonna take forever to get this place back to normal." replied Dende.

"Ugh! Next time they train elsewhere!" growled Piccolo.

At Kame House, night time has set in; Krillin is outside practicing the Kamehameha, firing it at the oceanside. The arrival of Goku, Gohan, and Super Eighteen quickly startles him, "Oh hey, your back! I was starting to get a little worried. You guys were gone all day." he said.

"Hi Krillin, we finally finished our training," said Goku.

"Awesome, how did it go?" asked Krillin.

"It was great, we really learned a lot. Your wife is one hell of a fighter Krillin!" replied Goku.

"Well, what can I say, I really know how to pick 'em, don't I?" said a sarcastic Krillin.

"Yep! Gohan and I have to take off now, we have some training to do, take Care!" said Goku, waving goodbye, disappearing shortly after.

"Gosh they were sure to leave. You didn't beat them too bad did you?" asked Krillin.

"Of course not Krillin, Goku just got a bit of an awakening." replied Super Eighteen.

Super Eighteen explains the details of her time with Goku and Gohan when she felt a rather strange sensation brush up against her backside.

Master Roshi reveals himself from behind, "Yeah, tell us how the training was, my dear. Hehe." he said, rubbing her butt.

Super Eighteen's face quickly went from happy to disgust in mere seconds. This was a huge mistake for Roshi, as this android not only has the power to wipe out the entire population, but most of the strongest fighters on earth. She grabs his hand and makes him pay dearly for his perversion; twisting him by the wrist, causing him intense pain.

"Wa...wait…I…I..was…only joking…you…know…please?" pleaded Roshi

"Joking about how to be a perverted old man." replied Super Eighteen not letting up at all.

She continues to twist to the near breaking point; with her massive strength, breaking an average human's arm is nothing more than child's play to her. It would be like someone snapping a twig. Roshi's wrist turns a purple color as the pain worsens, becoming excruciating. Super Eighteen doesn't show a bit of mercy in her punishment; completely ignoring Roshi's cries until finally breaking it, making a loud snapping sound, "AAAAAAHHHHHH!" screams Roshi in agony.

The sight of Super Eighteen's brutality was slightly frightening to Krillin, "Jeez honey! Don't you think that's kinda harsh?" asked Krillin with concern for his master.

"Absolutely not, he has to know the consequences." replied Super Eighteen showing no sign of care for Roshi's pain.

Roshi quickly runs to the island's edge, sticking his arm in the cool water, relieving some of the pain.

Krillin knew Super Eighteen wouldn't do those terrible things that her counterpart from the future participated in. However, some of her sadistic words still remain. Over time, Krillin has taught the Super Advanced Killing Machine morals and reason; changing her for the better.

"Let's go inside, it's time to get some rest. We'll begin our training tomorrow. I don't want you to fall behind." said Super Eighteen admiring her husband as a strong earthling.

They turn in for the night, leaving Roshi outside to reflect on his decision to annoy one of the most powerful fighters on the planet.

In other places, Goku and Gohan return home, "Dad, just curious, but why did you stop my fight with Eighteen? I still had a good amount of energy left in me." asked Gohan, slightly disappointed.

"Because there was no point in continuing, son. Eighteen has unlimited energy, remember? I knew the moment I saw your Kamehameha clash with her; if she can keep up constant energy for that long, then we have to increase not only our stamina but our power too. It's gonna be hard, but I'm betting if we train really hard for the next few years, we should have a chance." explained Goku.

Gohan felt his father's decision to be quite odd. But Goku has always known what's best for everyone. Out of respect for his father, Gohan respects his decision and follows any future requests.

Goku stood with a confident smile. Ascending to the next level will be no easy task. But if anyone is to trump this new powerful android, it would certainly be Goku.

"Do you really think we can do it dad? I mean that android is so powerful." asked Gohan, concerned about what they're getting themselves into.

"Don't worry, everyone is beatable. You just have to know where and when to strike. We certainly have our work cut out for us that's for sure. Sometimes you have to bide your time before you're ready to take on a strong opponent. Remember, I had to train for several days under intense gravity on my way to Namek; and yet I still wasn't strong enough to defeat Frieza." explained Goku.

"Oh yeah, I remember, I was there when you turned into a Super Saiyan for the first time." replied Gohan.

"Yeah, we begin our training tomorrow." replied Goku.

"Where? The Lookout?" asked Gohan.

"Haha, no, I don't think Piccolo, Dende, and Mr. Popo are too happy with how we left it." replied Goku.

"Gosh, we left in such a mess didn't we? I feel kinda bad." said a saddened Gohan.

Goku walks towards the entrance of his house, looking back at Gohan smiling, "No need to worry, knowing those two, they've probably used the dragon balls to fix it already. Now let's go inside, we've got a long day tomorrow." he said.

The next did indeed come very fast. Gohan awakes from bed yawning, "I wonder if dad is up yet, he said he wanted to get started right away." he said to himself. Gohan got out of bed, and went outside to see his mother doing laundry on a clothesline, "Where's dad?" he asked curiously.

"He's out by the river. He said something about catching a fish, then flew off towards the river." replied Chi Chi.

"Fish? But I thought we were training?" asked Gohan, greatly confused.

"That's it, ever since he fought that android, Krillin's wife; he's been happier than I've seen him in years. Maybe that android knocked a few screws loose in his head." said the concerned Chi Chi. "Gohan! I think there's something terribly wrong with your father!"

"I'll go find him," said Gohan.

"Gohaaaan!" shouted Goku from behind revealing himself, holding a giant blue and grey fish. "Let's eat son! Never train on an empty stomach!"

"Alright! Dad hasn't lost it, he's just preparing!" said Gohan, still excited.

Chi Chi was not too happy about the situation, "Umm, dear, you never mention this thing about Gohan training. That's why you were so happy this morning?" she asked.

"Yep, like they always say, never leave home on an empty stomach." replied Goku as he placed the giant fish over a large fire pit, cooking it.

This made Chi Chi even more angry, "You know how I feel about Gohan training. You told me after Cell that Gohan would come right home and start doing homework. It's been a whole year and he hasn't read one single text book! Do you want him to fall behind Goku! Do you want people to think he's retarded and can't count to ten? Do you want him to be as dumb as you!?" she shouted with anger.

"Hey Gohan can count to ten, we have a big battle coming up with Eighteen in a few years. He's only going to be gone for one day, I promise. He can study at night." said the mischievous Goku.

"That's enough of your lies Goku! Gohan's not a fighter like you! I want him to be smart! Not a retard! Just because you grew up in the woods doesn't mean he gets too!" said the angry Chi Chi.

"Aw come on, don't you want our only son to be able to defend the earth like the rest of us can? What if something happens and I'm not here?" asked Goku.

"Fine! But his grades better not slip!" said Chi Chi, still upset. "If you're gonna go, then Gohan will need the proper clothes; here, I still have some of your leftover clothes from when you were a kid. I made them just to fit Gohan's size." she said, handing Goku what appears to be an exact replica of his Gi, only small enough to fit twelve year old Gohan.

Goku offers them to Gohan, "We'll try them on." he said

Gohan takes off his old clothes he wore during his fight with Cell & Super Eighteen and puts on his mother's custom made Gi, laces the boots and slips on the wrist bands, giving him the appearance of his father.

(Note: This is the same outfit Gohan wore during the DBZ Movie: Bojack Unbound.)

Chi Chi smiles at Gohan's new look, "Perfect fit! I knew it!"

Gohan was confused, yet happy at the same time; who would have thought he would receive such a thing from his mother of all people, "Thanks mom, though I never thought you would make clothes for me in battle." he said, still confused.

"You helped save the world from Cell. If not for you, the earth and all of us wouldn't be here, meaning you can't finish your studies. So if training for a day with your father means that much to you then so be it. There will come a time when you'll be the man of the house. You just promise me not to let your grades slip." replied a proud Chi Chi.

"I won't, thanks mom." replied Gohan with a smile.

Goku steps forward placing his hand on Gohan's shoulder smiling, "Let's go son." he said. Gohan shook his head, acknowledging his father. They disappear, with instant transmission, traveling back to a newly polished lookout, surprising Goku and Gohan.

"My gosh, it looks all shiny! Like we never fought here at all!" said Gohan.

Their presence quickly caught the attention of Mr. Popo and Dende, "Goku, Gohan, your back; Piccolo informed me that no more fighting is to take place here." said Dende.

"Oh don't worry, we didn't come to fight here. We just stopped by to say hi; then we're off to Korin's for some senzu beans." replied Goku.

"Really? I thought for sure you'd want to fight again. We had to use the dragon balls to fix everything. The normal would have taken too long." replied Dende.

"Gosh, sorry Dende, I guess we got carried away. I know how much this place means to you." said Goku.

"Well it's the only place I can call home on this planet. I've grown accustomed to it over the years." replied Dende.

"It sure has, earth is lucky to have a noble guardian such as you Dende." replied Goku with a nice smile.

"So I guess you guys are leaving now?" asked Dende.

"Yep, Gohan and I have a lot of training to do." replied Goku.

Just as Goku and Gohan were about to leave, Vegeta reveals himself, interrupting them, "Kakarot! Your training to beat the android; I demand to know how powerful the android is!... Answer me now!" he demanded.

"Well we certainly have our work cut out for us; She took out Gohan, and I without much trouble. She can handle a fully acceded saiyan for the most part; if only we could increase our stamina." replied Goku.

Vegeta cringes at the thought of how Super Eighteen made him submit. The embarrassment turned into a silent rage; Vegeta had only one thing on his mind, to get stronger. Then an idea hits him; he grabs Goku with his Gi, "Kakarot! The Hyperbolic Time Chamber! Is there a way I can use that room again!?" he aggressively asked.

"No way, it can only be used twice in a lifetime; maybe in an alternate universe or something. If you spend even one second more than two years in there, the door will disappear, and you'll be stuck in that dimension forever." explained Goku.

Vegeta let go of Goku, "Dammit! There has to be a way!" he shouted in frustration.

Vegeta powers up and flies off with intense speed, continuing to replay the last words Super Eighteen spoke to him in his mind; expressing how much he fears her. This not only haunted Vegeta, but damaged his pride, making his desire to surpass everyone even greater. Vegeta chokes down the humiliation and comes up with an idea. He returns home (Capsule Corporation) where he aggressively conjures a favor of Bulma's father (Dr. Brief) to create him a ship that would allow him to train in one thousand times the gravity of earth. A request that nearly made Dr. Brief jump out of his shoes, "One thousand times gravity? Are you crazy? You'll be crushed! There's no way you could train in that." he said, still baffled.

Vegeta was in no mood for games, the only thing that mattered to him was training. His energy began to increase with his anger, "THAT'S WHAT I WANT! MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW!" he demanded, almost destroying the lab with his energy.

"Okay okay! You don't have to destroy the whole place you know! It will take a couple of days to put in a new module and reprogram it." replied Dr. Brief.

Vegeta calms down, receding his energy, "Good! Come get me when it's ready." he replied, leaving the lab and returning to his room.

"Vegeta! Where have you been?" asked Bulma.

"Training, I'm not really in the mood for small talk." replied the still upset Vegeta.

"What's got you so riled up?" asked Bulma, concerned for her husband.

Vegeta became more annoyed, "I told you I'm not in the mood for talk!" he snarled

Vegeta went to the bathroom and closed the door, ignoring Bulma completely. He took a shower, letting the water hit him while he thought about his day. Images of Goku defeating runs through his mind. Then he thought back to the moment when Eighteen broke his arm in their first encounter, and the most recent humiliation by her. The very thought of it angers Vegeta more and more, "Kakarot, no matter how much I train or get stronger, you always seem to surpass me. Even your son Gohan, and most of all the Android; all of them have surpassed me! Why can't they all leave me alone? I am the prince of all saiyans! I should be the strongest in the universe! They should be the ones who are afraid of me!" he said in disgust, angrily turning the water off, abruptly ending the shower. He steps out and looks at himself in the mirror.

There was nothing Vegeta could do besides wait; and wait he did, for days felt like seconds, weeks like minutes, months like days, and finally, years like weeks. Eventually several years had passed and Vegeta grew accustomed to one thousand times earth's gravity. It became no more than a slight breeze to him.

(Note: We're going to do a time skip for the seven year gap between the Cell and Buu saga. Nothing really all that important happened during this time in DBZ. In the original story, after Goku's fight with Pikkon in Otherworld, the series did a seven year time skip; same thing here.)

Several years later; things have changed quite a bit over the time skip. Gohan is an adult; he still occasionally trains with his father during down time. But Gohan's biggest challenge is high school. It's hard to mix that in with training without falling behind. On his first day of school, Gohan and Goku decide to get in some training a few hours before school starts. The sparring match begins with both of them powering up to Super Saiyan. Goku makes the first move by punching Gohan hard in the face, sending him through several trees. Gohan retaliates by returning the same attack as his father, a strong punch to the face. The two exchange melee attacks, and then a small Kamehameha struggle starts that ends up exploding.

The loud noise of their fight was enough to be heard for miles; waking up Chi Chi, and everyone else in the house. She ran outside half asleep and angry, "What in the world is going on out!" she shouted.

"Relax Chi Chi, we're just getting in some training before Gohan's first day of school." explained Goku.

Chi Chi notices the cuts and scrapes on Gohan, "Goku! What have you done to my baby! she shouted in anger at the sight of her son.

"Come on Chi Chi, it's only a few cuts; Gohan has been through much worse." replied Goku.

"As usual Goku, you want to turn our son into a thug, don't you?" asked Chi Chi, still angry.

"Hey, it's not like that at all Chi Chi. Gohan has to keep up or he'll fall behind the rest of us." replied Goku.

"Relax mom, I'll make it in time for school. Dad and I just have to get in some practice." explained Gohan.

"You can't go to school with all those cuts and scrapes! Do you want that to be your first impression, Gohan? Well, do you?" said a very concerned Chi Chi.

"Nothing a senzu bean can't fix. It'll be like nothing ever happened." explained Gohan.

Gohan pulls out a bag of senzu beans and eats one, quickly healing all his injuries, "See good as new!" he said, fully re-energized.

Chi Chi crossed her arms, still upset that Gohan didn't focus all of his attention on school, "Fine, I guess I'll have to let Goten be my new scholar." she said.

(Note: Goten is Goku's youngest son. He is the son Goku never got to meet in the original story due to being dead. Goten's appearance as a child is very similar to Goku's childhood look. Goten was born a few months after the battle with Cell.)

"Don't worry Chi Chi! Gohan will still make it to school on time." said Goku.

"He better, or I'll hold you responsible Goku. The blame has to go to someone. Gohan would have never adopted a life of fighting if not for you Goku! When Gohan was first born, you promised me he wouldn't be a fighter like you!" said Chi Chi in anger.

"Aw come on Chi Chi, Gohan can go to school and get in some training." explained Goku.

Chi Chi's yelling was so loud that Goten woke up. The young saiyan reveals himself; standing at the front door, "What is all the yelling about? I'm trying to sleep here." he said.

"It's okay Goten, your father and juvenile brother were just leaving." said Chi Chi looking at them with anger.

"We were?" asked Goku, scratching his head.

Goku's negligence angers Chi Chi even more, "Of course you are! Gohan has to be at school in an hour! He still has to take a shower and put on his uniform! If he doesn't hurry, he'll be late!" she shouted.

"Okay okay, Looks like we're done for the day." said Goku.

Chi Chi walked into the house with Goten, slamming the door behind her in an angry manner.

Gohan had to get ready, he marches towards the door stopping half way, "Hey dad, are you gonna go fight with Eighteen again? I know it's been a while but I'm sure it'll be a good fight." he asked looking back at his father.

"Of course, I can't wait to test my new power against her! I've trained so hard. I even have a secret." replied Goku.

Gohan was quite confused, "Secret? What? We've been training together for the past seven years. When did you find time to develop a secret?" he asked.

Goku stood with a confident smile, "That's for me to know, and you to find out." he said with a laugh.

Gohan didn't have any more time to stay and chat; he quickly walked inside his house, put on his uniform and grabbed his bag containing his school stuff. Then he opens a window in his room shouting for the flying cloud known as Nimbus, "Flying Nimbus!" he yells calling the cloud to him and hopes on. Gohan looks back at his father, "I'm off, let me know how the fight goes; I'm sure it'll be one to remember," he said.

"Sure thing, good luck on your first day of school Gohan!" proudly said Goku.

Gohan sets off in the direction of Orange Star High School to begin his first day. He looks back at his father waving goodbye as he disappears into the distance.

With Gohan gone, Goku is all by himself. Now he finally gets the chance to face Super Eighteen again. Goku has trained everyday for the past several years, anticipating the day he could face Super Android again. Knowing he cannot sense her due to being an android; Goku instead seeks out Krillin's energy. He places his fingers to his head and concentrates, silently locating Krillin at Kame House, "There!" he says: teleporting to Kame House, where he encounters Master Roshi sound asleep in a lawn chair with an adult magazine over his face. Roshi appears to be dreaming as he starts muttering to himself in his sleep. Goku abruptly wakes up his old master with a simple poke; Roshi immediately awakes and jumps up on contact, "No, I was framed I swear!" he shouted.

"Relax, it's just me, master." said Goku.

Roshi calms down, "Oh, it's Goku. You can't just sneak up on someone like that." he said, still startled. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"I came to see Krillin!" replied Goku.

"Oh, I see, having another match with Eighteen huh? Well you better be careful; she's a tough one alright." advised Roshi.

"That's for sure! I can't wait to test my new powers!" replied Goku in excitement.

Goku's moment of anticipation is quickly cut short when the front door of Kame House opens and a little girl with blonde hair and pigtails; closely resembling Krillin, reveals herself on the front patio, "Mama! Papa! Some strange man is outside!" she shouted.

Krillin and Super Eighteen step outside to the girl's call, "Aw there's nothing to worry about, it's just Goku. I knew it was him the whole time." said Krillin, announcing that he sensed Goku.

"Hey Krillin! Long time no see!" said Goku. "I can tell you've gotten stronger over the years! What's up!"

"Seven years; it's been seven years Goku, and we haven't gotten so much as even a letter from you. You've been ducking us this whole time." replied Krillin, slightly upset with his best friend.

"Krillin...umm...I don't know how to write a letter." replied Goku.

"Figures...first he's a no show and now he's making excuses." replied Krillin in a skeptical voice.

"Maybe he's afraid of me, that's why it took him so long to come back. Perhaps he just now worked up the courage." said Super Eighteen.

"Yeah, maybe that's it." agreed Krillin.

"Nope, just preparing, that's all." replied Goku.

"Well, if you say so." replied Krillin, still skeptical.

Goku notices the little girl from before hiding behind Krillin's leg, "Hey, who's the kid?" asked Goku pointing at her.

"Oh, this is umm...my daughter Marron." replied Krillin.

"Daughter! What!?" replied Goku, very shocked.

"What's wrong Goku, you have children; is it so wrong if I have one?" asked Krillin.

"Well no, of course not; I just didn't think androids could have babies." replied Goku, still confused.

"For your information Goku, Eighteen is still partly human, Doctor Gero just remodeled her a bit." explained Krillin.

"Oh yeah, I remember when we were at Bulma's; she explained Eighteen is part human part machine. I guess that makes her a cyborg really." replied Goku.

"More or less." agreed Krillin. "So after seven years, you think you're ready to take on Eighteen huh?"

"As ready as I'll ever be; I've thought about it everyday. I very much enjoy the thrill of fighting with you again Eighteen." said Goku looking at her.

Super Eighteen was quite surprised by Goku's determination and confidence, "Really? The battle really meant that much to you?" she asked.

"Of course, fighting strong opponents never gets old. It's the only way I can test the best of my abilities." replied Goku.

"Why am I not surprised; I guess fighting is in a saiyan's blood. Fine by me Goku, let's begin." said Super Eighteen standing in a fighting pose.

"Not here; this place is way too small for us to go all out. Grab hold, I'll take us to a better place." advised Goku.

"Okay, where?" asked Super Eighteen.

"Grab hold, I'll take us to a place far away from people; that way we don't have to worry about any innocent people accidentally getting hurt." explained Goku. "Hey Krillin, would you like to come and watch our fight?"

"Really? That'd be awesome Goku, now I can see what Eighteen can really do!" replied Krillin, cheering his wife on.

Krillin grabs Marron and the four of them teleport to the lookout.

"Oh No!" said Piccolo, immediately sensing Goku's energy; disrupting his meditation on the outer part of the lookout. He quickly confronts the four, "Goku, don't tell me you've come here to fight with that android again? We already had to waste a wish returning this place to normal." remembering the uneasy feeling from their last visit.

"Nope; this time there will be plenty of open space. I came to ask if you would watch and perhaps referee?" asked Goku.

Piccolo thought this was a rather odd request, "Referee? What? Goku, this isn't sports! You can't expect every person you face to follow rules." said Piccolo. "There are no rules in a real battle."

Goku pulls out a bag of senzu beans from the upper portion of his Gi, "Not rules, just someone to stop the battle if things get a little too messy. This battle is sure to bring out the best in both of us; I think we might learn something from each other as well." advised Goku. "I'll need you to distribute these if things get out of control. I picked them up from Korin's this morning." handing the bag to Piccolo.

Piccolo still found Goku's decision to be odd, but he went along with it. It was clear there's no stopping Goku when he has his mind on a good fight, "Alright, just as long as you don't fight here." he said.

"Sure thing; everyone grab hold so we can travel by my Instant Transmission." requested Goku.

Everyone lines up in a single file line, each attaching to one another; traveling to a faraway wasteland area, similar to where the Cell Games took place, "Here we are, plenty of open space." said Goku.

They spread out, Goku and Super Eighteen stand in a fighting pose about ten feet from each; while Krillin, Maron, and Piccolo stand on the side watching.

"This should be good," said Krillin.

"Remember Krillin, we don't actually know how strong Eighteen really is; she can't be sensed due to being an android." said Piccolo.

"Oh Yeah, I guess we will find out. But my money is on Goku; he always manages to find some clever way to beat his opponent. Though I can't root against my wife, that would just be wrong." he said.

Goku stares at the super advanced killing machine with a serious face, "If it's alright with you, I'd like to skip the warm up; Super Saiyans are clearly no match for you. So I'll have to start at level two." advised Goku.

"Alright Goku, remember I promised Krillin I wouldn't hurt you too much. But if you feel the need to go all out then be my guest." replied Super Eighteen.

Goku smiles as he transforms into a Super Saiyan, "Thanks, but I'm not worried." he said, powering up to level two (Super Saiyan 2) Goku's golden/yellow aura emits electricity around him.

Sensing Goku's new power came at a shock to Krillin, "Jeeze, that's a lot of power, Goku's really been training hard. He's even stronger than Gohan was against Cell." he said.

"Yeah, it looks like Goku did more than just spend time with family. Now let's see what he can really do." replied Piccolo.

Super Eighteen didn't appear to be intimidated by Goku's new power or determination, "Not bad, you made it to level two. Maybe even stronger than Gohan. This will be a good match indeed." she said with a smile.

"Good, now that we know each other's limitations, I'd like to ask you not to hold back. I'm going to give this all I have and I'd like you to do the same." requested Goku.

"If you insist, Goku. Though it might lead to some serious injuries." replied Super Eighteen.

"That's fine, the end result will be worth it." replied Goku.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." replied Super Eighteen.

Goku stood with great determination in his eyes, eager to start the fight, "Alright, let's begin." he said, challenging the android.

"I'll give you the first move." insisted Super Eighteen.

Goku accepts the offer by smiling. He attempts the first attack with a flying punch, which she blocks with ease. The power of this one hit was so great that it made the whole area shake. Super Eighteen is no rookie fighter; she displays her impressive strength by completely blocking all of Goku's punches and kicks until she finds an opening in Goku's assault and quickly puts an end to it with a strong kick to his gut, sending him backwards a few feet. Unfazed, the Super Saiyan tries giving her mixups, finally getting in a punch to her abdomen. Impressed by his efforts, "Not bad Goku, but I haven't even begun to show my real power yet." she said.

"Thanks, You're not so bad yourself." replied Goku smiling.

Eighteen smiles at Goku's honor as she raises her palm to the sky, creating a Destructo Disc which she uses on him.

Goku avoids the razor sharp disc with Instant Transmission and appears behind her attempting a counter attack; she impedes his attack by throwing a strong elbow at him; Goku grabs her by the arm and throws her backwards into a rock formation. The Super Android was slightly shaken up but not really harmed. The two engage in relentless fisticuffs; each exchange was massive, easily shaking the whole wasteland from their awesome power. Super Eighteen gets the upper hand on Goku, kneeing him hard in the nose, drawing the first blood in the fight. Then she follows up with a kick to his spine, pummeling the mighty Super Saiyan with two deadly blows.

Goku attends to his wounds as he silently admires Super Eighteen's true power, "Damn, She's just as strong as I imagined; one slip and it's all over. I'll still beat her though." he said in his mind. Goku retaliates, pummeling the powerful android with three massive blows of his own; a knee to the stomach, punch to the cheek, and a hard slam to the ground by her arm, making a huge crater. Super Eighteen emerged from the crater with cuts and scrapes, "Well now, it looks like I may have underestimated you Goku." she said.

"Oh, should I tone it down a bit?" asked Goku.

"Not at all; I'm simply impressed that you've come this far." replied Super Eighteen.

"Well thanks, I try; I find that my toughest opponents always bring out the best in me." replied Goku.

"Is that so, then let's just see how well you can keep up." replied Super Eighteen.

The fight continues with Eighteen firing a massive ki wave from her palm. Then she cleverly appears next to Goku and elbows him hard in the gut. The pain was simply too great for him to avoid the attack. The wave swoops in, swallowing Goku, forcing him through multiple rocks and scenery. At the last second, Goku escapes with Instant Transmission just before it explodes, which would have done a lot more damage. Not knowing that he escaped, Goku gets the upper hand on her by kicking her upwards, "Ka...me...ha...me...ha!" he shouts as he fires his signature move. The android yells in pain as she's pushed above the clouds. She rolls off the attack, angry and beaten; her clothes are shredded with more scrapes over her body. It was clear neither fighter was holding back at this point.

Goku meets her above the clouds, appearing directly across from her. The fight intensifies as they exchange blows above the clouds; each one so powerful that it's enough that the scenery below begin to break apart; then a Kamehameha struggle starts, which explodes on contact, turning the entire sky blue. But the fight only continues to heat up; Super Saiyan 2 Goku and Super Eighteen clash their forearms together putting them in a stalemate of intense power, "I'm amazed, these seven long years I've been training so hard, yet your still able to keep up with me, even at the ascended level." said Goku inhaling and exhaling.

"You can't keep fighting at this pace Goku, you'll tire out; I have unlimited energy, you should give up; it's only a matter of time before I win. And I really don't wish to hurt you, Goku." said Super Eighteen.

Goku pushes off of her and they both return to the ground, inhaling and exhaling deeply.

"Hey, you feel that? Goku's life force is slowly decreasing. I don't think he can continue fighting at that pace for much longer." said Krillin, concerned about his friend.

"It would help if we could sense how strong Eighteen is; for all we know, both of their power levels could have dropped dramatically." replied Piccolo.

Super Eighteen notices Goku's fatigue, "Goku, if you want to take a break we can. Maybe you should have one of those senzu beans." she suggested.

"Nope, I've still got some fight left in me!" declined Goku.

"Suit yourself, I gave you a chance to rest." replied Super Eighteen.

The fight rages on with Goku firing a Super Kamehameha at her. But Super Eighteen nullifies his effort by putting up "Android Barrier" , negating the attack completely; leaving her unharmed. Goku was slightly outraged by her defensive powers as well as offensive, "Dammit, not a single bit of it got through." he said.

"Give up Goku. You've been beaten." said Super Eighteen.

"No!" replied Goku, frustrated with the battle. He tries attacking once more with another punch, only to be violently pummeled by the powerful android once again; kneeing him hard in the stomach, making the Super Saiyan 2 expel blood from his mouth. The trauma causes Goku to lean further into her knee. Super Eighteen begins to toy with Goku, demonstrating that she could end the fight very quickly if she wanted to.

The fatigue really took a toll on Goku; but he wasn't ready to give up. He foolishly continues the fight, ignoring Eighteen's warnings; leading to a strong punch to his cheek. Goku flew backwards like a speeding bullet, crashing through multiple rock formations; engulfing his body with rocks. Goku's power continues to decrease, while Super Eighteen remains strong.

But the fight was not over; Goku revealed himself by destroying the rock formation with his energy, showing that he wasn't giving up.

Annoyed by Goku's stubbornness, Super Eighteen felt that Goku's over-confidence must be the cause for his foolishness, "Ugh, he doesn't know when to quit." she said in her mind.

Goku comes to the conclusion that he cannot beat her without pulling out all the stops; he finally reveals the so-called "secret" he explained to Gohan earlier, "SUPER KAIOKENNNNN!" he screamed as his electrical aura turns red and his muscles bulge.

Super Eighteen perks her eyes up at this unexpected and unknown ability, "What this?" she quietly asked herself in amazement.

Goku becomes a super-self, moving with incredible speed, striking the super android with a massive punch to her cheek, leaving her dazed in the air; quickly following up with a double fist punch to her back, plummeting her to the ground. Using Kaioken in this matter comes at the price of fatigue; Goku slowly returns to the ground; he falls to his knees in a weakened state. Stacking Kaioken with Super Saiyan 2 is indeed very risky.

Super Eighteen walks out of the crater with injuries over her body, "That was an impressive attack, Goku; it hurt quite a bit actually. But I know your power is fading away. You can't take too many more hits." she said, spitting blood from her mouth.

"Hahaha...you like that one huh? It's called Kaioken; King Kai taught it to me. I'm guessing you have trouble keeping up with that speed. Guess I'll have to use it again." replied a weakened Goku.

"What? Goku...don't be so foolish; we're just sparring you know? You don't have to risk destroying yourself just to beat me." replied Super Eighteen concerned with Goku's foolishness.

Krillin and Piccolo were shocked by Goku's gutsy decision, "Woah! Did you see that? Goku just used the Kaioken! I didn't know he could do that with Super Saiyan!" said Krillin.

"Well, you know Goku; he always comes back much stronger after losing a fight. I'm guessing Kaioken was his ace in the hole the entire time. That's why he's been acting so confident." replied Piccolo.

Wanting to end the fight and ignoring the risks; Goku powers up, activating the life threatening attack once more, "SUPER KAIOKEN ATTACK!" he shouted, pummeling the android with a massive kick to her stomach, violently sending her backwards. Goku quickly uses this small window of opportunity to inflict massive damage to her; Goku appears in her path and kicks her upwards with both feet; finishing with a Super Kamehameha, which in this case would be known as: Super Kaioken Kamehameha. Easily displaying enough power to destroy the planet ten times over. The wave swallows Eighteen, pushing her upwards, disappearing into the sky. Drained of all his power, Goku reverts to base-form and falls on his back completely exhausted.

Krillin comes to his friend's aid, "Goku? Are you okay?" he asked standing over him

The exhausted saiyan lays on his back, "I'm...sorry...if...hurt...Eighteen...too...much." he muttered back.

"No worries bro, Eighteen's about as tough as they come. You definitely did a number on her with that Kaioken, but if I know her; she'll be back." replied Krillin. As he predicted, Super Eighteen returns from the sky, beaten, and slightly bloody, "Honey? Are you okay?" asked Krillin while helping her stand up.

"I've been better, But I think you should be more concerned about Goku." replied an injured Super Eighteen.

Piccolo remembers the bag of senzu beans; he takes one out and puts one in Goku's mouth, "Damn, you look like hell Goku." he said. Chewing down the bean instantly revitalizes him; Goku does a cartwheel and stands up, "Woo hoo! Back to normal again!" he said cheerfully with his arms above his head.

Fully re-energized, Goku offers to transport Super Eighteen to the lookout, "Here, let's get you back to the lookout so Dende can heal you. Androids can't eat food so a senzu bean won't work." said he smiling and extending his hand out.

Super Eighteen smiles and grabs his hand, accepting the offer; she was quite stunned by Goku's loyalty and kindness. At the lookout, Goku explains the situation to Dende, who gladly offers to heal Eighteen: placing his palms forward, Dende emits a bright glow around her body, healing her wounds and restoring her to full power, "There we go. Good as new." he said with a smile.

Piccolo also assists using Magic Materialization, "Here, you two could use a makeover." he said fixing their torn clothes.

(Note: Magic Materialization is an odd, yet clever technique that Namekians of the Dragon Clan have; this allows them to create objects from nothing, and they use it to create everything from houses and furniture, and those who reach genius-class can also use it to create Dragon Balls.)

"What a great fight! That was so much fun!" said a very thrilled Goku.

"Goku, you pushed yourself beyond what you were capable of; that Kaioken could have destroyed you. I should call you a fool...but for some reason, I enjoyed it too." replied Super Eighteen.

"Just who won anyways?" asked Dende.

"Who cares? Let's just call it a tie. If I had to guess, I'd consider Eighteen to be a worthy opponent for sure." advised Goku.

Super Eighteen smiles at the fact that Goku considers her a formidable opponent; not to mention, his most exciting fight.

"Yeah, your fight rocked! I guess that means there is no winner." said Krillin.

"Well it was just a sparring match Krillin. There doesn't always have to be a winner in every fight. I think we both underestimated each other." replied Goku.

"So what now?" asked Krillin.

"Now, let's eat; I don't know about you, but I'm starving!" replied Goku.

"Yep, he's normal alright; typical Goku to be hungry after a huge battle." said Krillin.

Goku takes everyone home with Instant Transmission; then he too returns home; where he discovers Gohan had just returned home from his first day of school. After reminiscing about his first day of high school, Gohan is shocked to hear the news about his father's fight, "Damn, she's certainly tough. You had to use kaioken and super saiyan to stop her. I wish I could have been there." he said.

"It was a tough battle for sure." replied Goku. "But I'd like to do it again some day!"

Eventually weeks went by after the fight. Gohan met a girl at high school named Videl, who is also the daughter of Hercule Satan. She discovers Gohan's secret identity as Great Saiyaman. Videl blackmails Gohan, saying she won't reveal his identity to the public if he agrees to enter the upcoming 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, which was known in the anime as "The World Tournament" At first, Videl doesn't take to kindly to Gohan, but she slowly starts to respect him once he teaches her about energy and flying.

Hearing this news of the tournament gets Goku excited. He teleports to everyone's homes, telling them about the tournament; as well as the prerequisites. Eighteen was most interested in the prize money, because she's tired of living at Kame House; so she, and every other member of the Dragon Team enter the tournament; this is where the Majin Buu saga preemptively starts. Unknown to anyone at the moment, this tournament also awaits a great evil.
