"After a long time I'm updating my stories slowly, here is the next chapter, enjoyyy.
Chapter 17
"You really like to scare jump on people, don't you?" I asked without looking back.
"And I still can surprise you." The familiar voice replied.
"Hades?" Percy commented.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Right to the point." Hades said. "But I just really came for a small visit for myself." Hades replied.
"And why would you do that?" I questioned.
"Percy would you mind if I talk with her alone for a little?" Hades asked ignoring my question at first.
"Sure, I will go help my mom." He said leaving the living room.
"I had to come and talk to you after pondering on what you said to Chiron." Hades started after Percy had left.
"About?" I asked.
"You know what I'm referring too." He said.
"Me not making on the final battle." I whispered. "What do you want me to think, Halfblood born from a cursed father that will only have a girl that if the big bad enemy comes because she is going to born with a great power that can scare even the Gods. Of course, I think that my life will end by the end of what I'm here to fight." I added trying not to raise my voice.
"And yet you said it yourself that we don't see that happening." He commented.
"Just because you all think I will not die, doesn't mean it will be true. It's the emperors I have to fight. They made themselves Gods." I told him.
"However, you are not alone." Hades pointed out.
"I'm not bringing any one that doesn't need to fight to this fight." I warned him.
"You observed all of them, and yet you think you can stop them?" Hades asked. "What will you do once he remembers who you are?"
"Don't any of you dare do anything to bring him to help me." I warned once again.
"It won't be our doing, that I can assure you. But I know for a fact that he his memories will, very soon, come back to him." Hades told me. "I should go now, just be careful. You know we are all worried, but especially your father."
When he mentioned my father, my hand went back to the necklace, and when I look back at where Hades was, he was gone. What could I do now? Should I stay and wait for Percy to remember or should I just go? I wanted him to remember, but I didn't want him to remember everything. Just the fact of him finding out whom my father was, would be a surprise for him. If he found out every single detail of what happen that day he would blame himself, and I didn't want that.
"Damn prophecies." I murmured.
There was only a small moment of silence, and then a thud came from the kitchen area.
"Percy." Sally said worried.
I rushed to where the noise had come from, to find Percy on the floor mumbling something. I squat down to see if I could hear anything and also to pick him up and move him from there.
"What happen?" I asked.
"I don't know. He suddenly froze in place said something and then he was on the floor." Sally explained still worried.
I kept trying to figure out what he was saying, and after a while I was able to make out something like 'I'm scared' in the middle of other things. If his memories were coming that fast no wonder that he had fainted. It was to much even for him. I took him to his bedroom and laid him on his bed.
"He will be alright." I said. "He his remembering everything and it was too much. The memories were coming slowly, but it looks like the last ones just came in one go."
Sally left the room, I wasn't sure why. Maybe because once he woke up he would have a lot of questions and it was better for just to be me there, or because she wasn't sure what to say once he opened his eyes. I wasn't even prepared for this to come so fast. How would I explain to him all of it? It had been years, how would he even react to what he was about to find out?
He had stopped mumbling after a while and I wasn't sure how long it had pass until I also black out and had fallen asleep on the chair by his bed. However, even in my dreams, the thoughts of those days didn't leave me alone, and I kept seeing the events on a loop. Still I didn't regret one bit about how things had gone that faithful day. Apollo was right, I had not told him everything exactly how it had went. There was a small part that I kept hidden and was hoping that he would not recall it, but I would only find out that once he would wake up.
I felt something touching my arm softly and that woke me up, when I open my eyes I saw Percy sitting down on his bed looking at me, there was a couple of seconds of silence and a change of looks until I finally spoke.
"Percy how are you feeling?" I asked.
"I'm alright." He replied.
"Did you remember anything else?" I questioned.
"I think I remember most of it." He told me. "But I'm not sure about it."
"We can go over what you remember." I said.
I needed to know what he remember, not only for him, but also to know how to go from there on.
"I think I remember who your father is." He started.
If it had been someone else saying that I would have probably frozen in place, but he was just remembering something that he already knew from long ago.
"Is that so?" I said.
"I remember seeing the necklace that you use turning into your weapon." He continued. "That's why you keep it hidden right?"
Before answering to him, my hand went to grab the necklace and bring it out of hiding.
"I mean, your is just a pen easy to hide the identity of your weapon. Mine on the other hand." I said showing the trident necklace to him.
