Chapter 19
The night had fallen, and everyone had gone to sleep. However, I wasn't able to close my eyes and rest. There was a lot that I had to do, and for now I had no clue on what to do next. Maybe I really should try and get my hands on the full prophecy after all.
"What should I do?" I asked myself.
"Just follow your instincts like you always do." Sally said showing up by my side.
"They never seem to end well." I commented remembering what happen all those years ago.
"I don't think its like that." She told me. "What happen seven years ago wasn't your fault."
"it was my fault. If I wasn't here that wouldn't have had happen." I said.
"You don't know that for sure." She said. "The life of a demigod is not easy, I have seen it with Percy, I can only imagine how it was been for you."
She was right, being a demigod wasn't easy. And right now, was even worse, I had to start moving and fast. I wasn't the only was with something to do, Apollo, Calypso and Leo were also fighting on their side, so I couldn't stay on one place.
"I guess Percy is right. I should try and find out the prophecy after all." I said.
"Just be careful and you know you will always have a place here." Sally told me.
"Thank you for everything." I said. "I will probably leave before Percy waked up, could you let him know about it and that I will send news as soon as I can."
"Don't worry about it, I will tell him. Make sure you get some rest before you go." She said walking away.
Resting? I should do that, after I leave this house, resting will be the rare for me. I looked up to the sky, I guess my next stop would be back to Mount Olympus. The rest of the prophecy was there, and if I wanted an answer that would be the only way. I would have to face Zeus to get what I wanted and getting the answer would depend if he was willing to give it to me or not. I walked back to the sofa and sat down closing my eyes. However, after closing my eyes I saw something like a dream. 'Do you really think you can defeat me?' said the figure in front of me. We were both on top of a tall building, no one else in sight. 'I will do my best, two are down only you to go.' I said, my voice sounded very tired and almost with no energy. 'In your state do you really think you can do even a scratch on me?'. I didn't see or hear anything else, because I was woken up. I looked around, but no one was there. Who had wakened me? It did not matter now. I had something else to do.
I picked up my things and left the friendly house. I knew that Percy would probably be a little mad at me, but if I waited until he was awake leaving would be harder. Now I was on my way back to Mount Olympus. Who would think I would be back there so fast? I had reach the entrance just before sunrise, I took a deep breath before crossing the entrance to Mount Olympus. All around looked the same as when I left. I didn't lose any time and walked straight to where I knew Zeus would be. For my surprise he wasn't alone, my father and Hades were also there. Of course, they would be there, they knew I was coming and what for.
"If the three of you are here than you all know why I am here." I said.
"You came for the prophecy." Zeus said.
"Yes, I only know a small part. But now, I think its time for me to know it fully." I continued.
"Do you really think knowing the prophecy will help you?" My father asked.
"I don't know. What I know is that I have nothing more than I'm suppose to fight them because I was born a girl." I replied.
"If she wants to know it, I think we should. After all, the heroes always get their quest from a prophecy." Hades said.
"Follow us, then." Zeus said.
The three of them start to walk away from the room we were in, I followed them without saying a word. I knew most of Olympus, but there were places than even I wasn't allowed to go. And the house they had for Rhea was one of those places.
"Why are we here?" I asked.
"This is where the rest of your prophecy rests." Zeus explained.
"I though you all knew the full prophecy?" I asked confused.
"We do. But it is best if you see it for yourself." My father explained.
"See it?" I questioned.
"Just follow us inside and you will understand." Hades said walking through the door.
I followed the three of them, in my mind I was expecting the interior to look something like the Gods temples. However, it was very humble, nothing to extravagant. On one of the walls there were some writings, that at first, I wasn't able to read. It was a mix of languages, the more I looked at it, the more I was able to read it, like my mind was learning with every word I read.
"What is that?" I asked. "How am I able to read it? And don't tell me is because I'm special."
"It's your blood." My father started. "Even you being an halfblood like the others, your Godly blood is stronger."
"Can you read it all?" Zeus asked.
"Yes." I replied.
"Was it what you were expecting?" Hades questioned.
"I'm not sure." I said.
I looked once again to the prophecy, reading it over and over. Those words were talking about my past and future. It started with what already knew, but the rest was something that I still couldn't decipher the meaning. 'From the one that rules over the seas, a daughter with the power of the Gods shall born. With power so immense that she shall fight against three powerful Gods. Aid she shall have, help she will deny. And on the rainy day, when the battle is over, all will cry.'
No wonder the Gods wanted to keep me from born, in their minds the three I could end up fighting would be the three in front of me. I guess I would have to thank Rhea for thinking that could not be the case and give a gap of a chance for me to exist.
