In Plain Sight

Izuku sitting on his desk grabbing a thick strand of copper wires from the wall as it's been 5 months since Tomura's death. His eyes flashing his eyes with multiple colors, the only person in the office that was watching this was Nejire. Her past time being in this hell hole has put an effect on her; she was malnourished, extremely pale, scares easily with any slight movement, and her blue eyes fading into greyish blue. Izuku rolling his eyes, "Give me something to talk about."

Nejire flinches from the break in silence for a moment then speaking nervously, "W-What do-o you se-ee?"

Izuku smirking, "I'm seeing through every camera in the city and listening to all audio in the city."

He begins snapping his fingers to get her ass over to him, she runs over in fear to him. He smiles, "I have a fun idea, I'll give you a choice. You either injure Mirio or kill your parents."

Nejire bowing to him, "Please no…"

He let's go of the wires to lean down to her, "What?"

She begins cries, "Please don't make me choose between hurting people I love. I beg you… please."

He jumps out of his chair to kick her head up with his foot, then punches her face causing her to fall back. Izuku looking down at her, "No one has the right to influence me, Harley will kill anyone I ask like a good girl. Everyone that follows me don't beg me to change the task."

He turns his right arm into steel and using another quirk to heat it up, "This calls for punishment, this will hopefully remind you when I ask again."

Nejire was bleeding from her mouth and from the bruise that she inflicted looks down to see the red-hot hand about to touch her between her breasts. He presses his hand on her chest, she screams in pain as his hand burns her flesh. Izuku counting slowly, "10… 9… 8…"

He laughs, "Why count? It would give you hope that it will end."

With his other hand grabs her cheeks to continue making eye contact, "Would you hurt Mirio to protect your family or kill your family to protect Mirio?"

She spoke with some bravery that she still managed to have, "Are you stupid?"

Izuku took his hot metal hand off her, "Then enlighten me."

She smiles weakly, "You are asking me to hurt my family or kill them, because Mirio is family, just like Tamaki and UA."

Izuku's sharp teeth exposing in his smile, "That is enlightening…"

His hot metal arm turned back to a normal human arm, "I used to have a family, you know this reminds me of a story. It's a wonderful story."

He stands up and grabs her by the hair to drag her to in front of the mirror in the room, "There was once a girl, who had everything that most people had. A happy functioning family, a place to call home, and friends. Her life was completely set until one day…"

Nejire was looking up at him and Izuku turning to her, "One day, she came across a stranger, a boy around her age or younger was seen in the alley nearby. The boy covered in dirt, blood, and everything nasty. Most people would leave him and not care because it was not their child. The girl however guides him to her home, she gets him to bathe, eat, and to heal. The boy thanks her and but he wanted to leave. You see he reveals to her that he fears lights."

She asks with a weak voice, "Lights?"

He kneels down to make eye level to rub his fingers on her face to heal her broken body slowly, "That's right, lights. The boy explains, 'He gets abused in a place with bright lights and in the daytime.' Which is why he covers himself with blood, dirt, and garbage in the daytime. It's camouflage to hide from the light, the dark is his friend, and he points outside as it is nighttime. As his left, the girl couldn't help but follow him into the darkness."

Izuku turning to the mirror, "As she followed him deeper and deeper in the alley ways, soon she realized that she was lost. She has never been in the area in the dark, she walked for hours until she was too tired to continue and called it a day."

Izuku know combing her hair, "She then wakes up to find herself in the insane asylum, strapped down to a bed. She realized she was dreaming and reimagining a very important day. She wasn't a little girl, but in that important day that she reimagined she was. The nurse came to her asking if she was ready for her treatment and as she looked around trying to figure things out… the boy was sitting in the corner of the room smiling and waving at her."

He then yanked Nejire's hair to pull her close to him, "The boy whispered, 'Time to go back to the lights.' And the nurse escorted her out of the room and acted like the boy didn't exist."

Izuku placing his hand over her face and the other hand on her throat, "You want to go to the light, Nejire-chan?"

Nejire wanted to struggle for her life but she couldn't, it was like her body had given up on trying to fight back. Her mind screamed to fight but her body screamed to just die until Izuku let go of her throat then a shock came from Izuku hand, "Oop, my bad… Nejire-chan, who are your parents?"

Izuku pulled out a pic of a man, woman, and some children with the same color eyes and hair as her but she didn't recognize them. She looked at them and asked, "Who are they?"

Izuku shrugging, "I don't know, if you don't know who they are then I will ask you a question."

Nejire looking up at him in fear as he asked, "Would you injure Mirio to protect these people or would you kill these people to protect Mirio?"

She feels another shock from his hand that seem to cause a part of her mind to act in a different way. She had the urge to protect Mirio more than she usually wanted, after a second of thinking she spoke, "I'll kill them… I'll kill them for Mirio."

He rubs her cheek, "Is the little birdie sure? Will the little birdie lie and leave me?"

She smiles at him gentle, "I love you, Master. Despite my love for Mirio, I love you and I care your child."

Izuku giggling a bit, "Good…"

Izuku continuing to play with her mind, 'The love she is expressing is different from what an outsider would think. I am boosting her desires and subduing her sense of morals, empathy, and restraint. Ultimately turning her into a yandere that gives me love, affection, and loyalty; but also giving Mirio the same love a predator gives to prey. She will be obsessed with Mirio, kill anyone who gives him affection or rude comment, and he will be seen as a toy to her.'

Nejire asking, "Will Master reward me for task?"

Izuku opening his mouth and a snake's tongue came out to lick her cheek, "Why yes, I reward all my followers who succeed in their tasks."

He closed his eyes to look into her future five days from now, "You are going to need more than one quirk…"

She asks, "Is it a quirk that increases my stamina? Or anything related to stamina?"

He starts chuckling then laughing when he begins to see the gears turning on this project.

A Café, The Next Day

Mirio and the other heroes have been given orders by the government to have a low profile as Deku and his army have been targeting heroes, hero schools, and hero agencies. A plan came effect after Tamaki's death that shut down hero schools and hero agencies, while the heroes can still do their duties but at their own risk. Since Tamaki's death and the government order, the city has been peaceful. But not completely as when a hero does appear, they usually get killed shortly afterwards.

Mirio hates being hidden and the extra dimensional being of 'The Anarchist' has been gone for a while. He apparently has some business to take care of and is still trying to convince a few people to join as they are 'important'. Mirio watching the TV as the news reports that Deku hasn't been found, a voice was heard next to Mirio, "I think he is waiting."

Mirio turning to a kid slightly younger than him with black messy hair and blue eyes, the teen was also skinny and pale, but he was fine everywhere else. Mirio asks, "What do you mean?"

The kid explaining, "He isn't just some psychopath, he had proven it multiple times. He has a plan, since the heroes are hidden, he is playing a different game. It was like he was playing chess and is now playing hide and seek. The heroes are hidden and what he truly wants is for them to be in a group then kill them all in one strike."

Mirio smiling, "What is your name, kid?"

The teen chuckling a bit, "We are not that far apart in age, but it's Ukuzi."

Mirio looking around, "My name is Mirio, where is your friends?"

Ukuzi grabbing a milkshake he ordered, "I don't have friends."

Mirio looking at him, "What? Really?"

Ukuzi explaining, "I'm a boring guy; I like to walk around, grab a milkshake, and maybe have talk about life."

Mirio confused, "Why would you think about such a deep topic?"

Ukuzi watching the news, "I don't know, I got nothing better to do."

Mirio asks, "Don't you have school?"

Ukuzi taking another drink, "I dropped out to get a few freelancing jobs and doing philosophy."

Mirio showing a little bit of concern, "Are your parents find with it?"

The teen shrugs, "Sort of."

After finishing his shake, "You know with the heroes hidden and the villains hidden, it's like the time before quirks. It's like we are living in a forgotten time."

Mirio nods, "Yeah… it kind of does. Quirks are still here but they are not as flashy as before."

Ukuzi commenting, "Probably because what Deku did showed the power of quirks. He has multiple quirks and the idea of a quirk like his destroyed the idea that quirks were a good thing. He showed the darkness within them…"

Mirio spoke, "Yes, he was right about quirks being evil, but they are also good. It's the person who uses them. There is no one who is more evil than him… but…"

Ukuzi asking, "But what?"

Mirio continues, "But I understand him, he was given the short stick in life. He mostly saw the darkness of quirks, but then we also moments where he saw the light in them. He was given hate, despair, and pain; the world made the devil, and he is returning the favor to the world."

Ukuzi opening a small notebook, "I'm going to borrow that quote."

Mirio smiled a bit then Ukuzi askes, "What is you plan for today?"

Mirio shrugs, "I have the day off, so I'm just walking around town."

Ukuzi releasing a small friendly laugh, Mirio hasn't heard a laugh like this. It was warm, friendly, and full of life; the last laugh he has heard was from Deku. Deku's laugh was loud, painful, cold, and evil; that villain's laugh… sounds like something heard from a nightmare. Why is Deku not causing more chaos? Why did he really stop when we went underground 5 months ago? Ukuzi got up, "Well I'm going to head over to my favorite spot in the city."

Mirio getting up, "Can I come with?"

Rumi

The beaten former rabbit hero woke up in chains in her dungeon, she was placed there 4 months ago for injuring one of her masters. She hates that, referring to her capturers and the villain scum as 'Masters', she wasn't at her full power because she is allowed a certain amount of food, water, and medical treatment. She has been kept in this cell for 4 months, with even less food, water, and little to no medical treatment. Deku was going to break her at any cost, the green haired monster terrifies her as he kills anyone at any moment then bring them back to life just to suffer more.

She gets regular beatings on an hourly basis, then footsteps can be heard coming to her. She prays, "P-P-Please be medical treatment."

She lifts her head up with so much of her strength that she could pass out after this action. She didn't see the doctor, but instead it was Shoto Todoroki standing in front of her. Rumi with a dry throat and weak voice, "P-Pl-ea-se, n-no m-mo-re."

Todoroki pulls out his coin, "Do you believe in fate?"

The bunny replying, "Ye-s."

Todoroki kneeling down flips the coin, the coin lands on the back of his hand, "What would you do if fate lets you out of this cell?"

Her bruised eyes tearing up, "Anything…"

She was passing out as Shoto looks at the coin, "Today is your lucky day."

She passes out and Shoto takes her chains off and carries her out, "I guess she can stay in me for a bit."

Later…

Rumi wakes up tired, it's like her energy was wiped out but her eyes wanted to see something that felt like forever since they last seen it. Sun light… was this real? She couldn't comprehend that she was seeing daytime, not dim LED lights or light from glowsticks… but actual light. Her body was healed, and her eyes looked to see was in a futon, in a nice traditional style room. The door slides open as a familiar face was seen; she hasn't seen this person in four months. Rumi asks, "Ryuko? Is… that you?"

Ryuko was in a red kimono with a pitcher of water to fill the glass next to Rumi, "You survived, I knew you would."

She places the pitcher down and helping her friend to drink the water, Rumi asks, "Where am I?"

Ryuko smiling, "Somewhere nice…"
