Harlow walked away from the raven-haired-boy, ignoring the pang of guilt in her stomach and her heart that was still beating fast in her chest from where their hands met. She shouldn't have let someone have such an effect on her. It was stupid and pointless. She wasn't here to make friends or to have a relationship. She was here for one reason and one reason alone. It was her mission and her life's ambition and she was not going to let herself get distracted.
Still, she felt bad for denying Isabel every night and virtually ignoring her. The girl was so nice and genuine. Which was a nice change of pace from the fake people she used to be surrounded with all the time. Harlow could see the hurt in the redhead's eyes when she declined her lunch invitation every day. It made her so sad she just wanted to reach out and give the small girl a hug. But she couldn't make friends. It wasn't a part of her plan. And she had to stick to her plan. It was the only way to survive. Maybe she shouldn't have opened up to Isabel in the first place. It was just nice having someone interested in her for her personality and mind for once instead of her looks or her body. She couldn't help but fall in love with this girl with the green eyes. She wished they could be friends, she really did. But it couldn't be.
Harlow sighed turning into the building and stalking up to her room. The worse part was, she really liked them. Izzy was funny, Farlan was charming and Levi was... interesting. He had come off as kind of a dick at the beginning; not apologising to her when he was the one that bumped into Harlow, but a dick wouldn't ask someone why they were crying. Not that he deserved an answer, but it was still nice of him to ask.
Harlow sighed again as she entered her shared room and fell backwards onto her bed. She looked around her side of the room that was covered in drawings and art supplies. It calmed her down. Art had always calmed her down. It was an outlet really; it was just an added bonus that she was good at it. Harlow wiped a bead of sweat off her brow. It was hot today. Honestly, she wished winter would hurry up and get here all ready. The forest would be way more interesting to draw in the winter. Maybe it would even be covered with a layer of snow. With that exciting thought Harlow pulled off her jumper, only leaving herself in a small tank top and shorts, the tank top exposing quite a bit of cleavage but in the moment she didn't care. She was hot and tired and just wanted to rest comfortably. It would be fine since she was in her room, right? Thinking that Harlow gave in and took off her shorts as well, leaving herself in a small tank top and knickers before pulling her hair out of its ties and letting it rest comfortably around her shoulders, falling into a deep sleep.
