After learning from Moira that Sebastian Shaw knew of a secret entrance into Apocalypse's tower, she told them they would find him in New York, and so Cheetah's group entered the sewers that was next to the X-Mansion as they made their way through, dealing with the Creepers from Genosha along with Morlocks as they soon found themselves on the southside of New York, except there was scattered debris from buildings during the attack.

"Ugh… That place was rancid. So many scents I wished I couldn't smell..." Cheetah said.

"You'll get used to it, darlin'." Wolverine said.

"Look at this place...so much destruction." Ace said.

"This place… How horrible to see up close…" Riesz said.

"Riesz… I know how you feel. After all…" Belladonna said.

"You don't have to say anything, Belladonna. I understand that you did it all because of your own love." Riesz said.

Ace closed his eyes in thought, thinking back to the times some of his friends' homes were attacked.

"Ah, apologies. We didn't mean it against any of you." Riesz said.

"It's no trouble at all, you were just speaking your mind." Ajna said. "So, this Shaw guy is supposed to be here somewhere?"

"Yes. And it seems we've landed ourselves on the southside. We'll need to do a lot of walking to find him." Cheetah said.

"He's close by." Jean Grey said.

"We might want to get moving, then." Belladonna said.

The group pressed on through the city as they soon spotted a man in fancy clothing and approached.

"Don't move a muscle, unless you want to discover which of you has the best mutant healing powers." Sebastian Shaw said.

"I take it you are Sebastian Shaw?" Cheetah asked.

"That's right love, no doubt you want information like Angel used to. A pity he was captured by Apocalypse." Sebastian Shaw said.

"Alright, let's get to the point then. How do we enter Apocalypse's tower?" Duran asked.

"Well, my friends, you've come at a most opportune time. I'm being forced to vacate town as soon as possible. But before I go I need a Holodisk and my Master Key. Get me those items and I'll tell you anything you want to know." Sebastian Shaw said.

"Understood. We'll get on it." Cheetah said.

"Good, then I shall await you all at the X-Mansion." Sebastian Shaw said.

Cheetah's group managed to locate the Holodisk and the Master Key in the city as soon as possible and delivered them to Sebastian as he soon gave them his Master Key which was needed to enter a secret entrance to Apocalypse's tower which was located in the sewers on the North Side. Sebastian Shaw then told them that the secret entrance was built by Mr. Sinister which Apocalypse was unaware of. Zamazenta's group eventually arrived back at the X-Mansion and reconvened with Cheetah's group.

"So, you found the secret entrance, I see." Zamazenta said.

"We sure did. Although, it did take a trip to the sewers to get there." Cheetah said.

"Now all we have to do is locate the sewer entrance on the north side of the city and make our way through till we find it." Papelne said.

"Let's hope our noses can hold up." Zamazenta said.

The group returned to the city as they then soon entered the west sewers and began making their way through before running into a man with blonde hair wearing a blue jumpsuit.

"Banshee?" Rogue asked.

"Ah the X-Men! If you aren't a sight for sore eyes!" Banshee said in an irish accent as he held his side.

"Well it's good to have someone with sound disruption powers on our side for a change." Cheetah said.

"Yeah, but I got hurt escaping from the New York pens. Apocalypse's guards are none too kind ta their prisoners. Once I've had a chance ta heal, ya can bet I'll be payin' that lot a visit." Banshee said.

"Mutant concentration camps? Seriously?" Zamazenta asked.

"In a way yes. Apocalypse has thrown a great many people into the pens for his DNA testing. And to make matters worse, he's using something called a brain trust to psychically sap their will. It took every last ounce of my strength." Banshee said.

"DNA Testing? Wait, could that have to do with the Harmonious DNA his men were talking about?" Riesz asked.

"Possibly, and all they need is one more mutant with that DNA strand in them. We better deactivate the brain trust as soon as possible and help them." Mari said.

"Can't argue with that. Let's get to it." Poison Ivy said.

"Also, be on the lookout for Stryfe, you'll be facing him before you can enter another part of the city. Good luck to ya, lads and lassies." Banshee said.

The group soon reached the Brain Trust withstanding its mental influence as they soon activated different consoles that shut all the Brain Trusts down before reaching the end as they saw a man in silver armor.

"Well, well, well. What have we here? Fleas who would bite at the wolf? Don't you realize the mistake you're making?" Stryfe asked.

"Not really. Mind explaining that to us?" Lei asked.

"I think you're the one making the mistake here. Don't you realize you're turning on your own family?" Belladonna asked.

"You would've had a place of honor and greatness in Apocalypse's new world order. But instead you choose to fight for the wrong team, the losing team. Be careful before you're swept aside." Stryfe said.

"Apologies, Belladonna, but it doesn't sound like we're going to get through to him." Cheetah said.

"Yeah, guess we'll be doing this the easy way then." Simon said. "We're shutting this whole brain trust thing down with you."

"You're welcome to try, weaklings." Stryfe said.

"Be careful, guys. His psychic abilities are no joke." Zenji said.

"That has never stopped us before." Litty said.

"Just whatever you guys do, don't let him tap into your mind, under any circumstances." Cheetah said.

"Got it." Rutee said.

"O violent torrent… Splash!" Jade chanted as multiple magic circles appeared and water poured out of them like waterfalls, hitting multiple times.

"Fiery Beast!" Stahn called, launching a fist forward as a lion's head coated in fire appeared, launching Stryfe before jumping into the air and impaling Dymlos downward, causing multiple fire pillars to erupt outward from opposite sides.

"Terra Hammer!" Lance called, causing a large boulder to descend onto Stryfe.

"Hmm… This one seems quite sturdy. Perhaps a more powerful spell is in order." Jade said. "O admonishing melody, arise in the name of the necromancer… Mystic Cage!" he called, causing a cage of energy to appear over the battlefield before bursting into light. "Now know what true power is!"

"This was my only chance for greatness!" Stryfe said as he soon fell.

"Whoa, that was some hot stuff, Jade!" Agito said.

"Well, he is one of the best mages we had. It kind of comes with the territory." Luke said.

"Flattery won't get you anywhere with me." Jade said, pressing his glasses.

"In any case, he's down. So now we can get outside." Jessica said.

"Yeah, with the Brain Trust down, the prisoners will be able to free themselves." Dhar said.
