AN: Sorry for the wait, I take waaaay too long overthinking these chapters before I post.

Sorry for any errors, this story is not beta'd so all mistakes are mine.

I spent so long inside my own head that I'd hardly noticed time passing and I was startled when the car suddenly came to a stop. The pier was teaming with life this morning, besides the people working, there also just a bunch people who seemed to be out enjoying the rare sunlight. I heard doors slamming to me right and turned to see Seth getting out of the car, I smiled at him but he kept a stoic look on his face and didn't acknowledge me. I guess we're back to this now.

"So," Gabe called the group together "what do you guys wanna do first? Lexi?" He turned to me for suggestions.

"Um, well I can't be sure what's fun around here so I guess I'll just follow your lead." I said, biting my lip.

"How about we start with food? I'm starving after that drive!!!" Said Daniel, one of the guys who'd been in the car with us. He nudged my shoulder playfully as he came to stand beside me.

"Food sounds good to me." I smiled. There were resounding agreements from the rest of the group and so we set off to find something delicious to eat.

As we walked along the Boardwalk, I took in the few sights around me. Port Angeles didn't have much to offer but it worked well with what it had. Daniel and I chatted about menial things while I tried to ignore the sugary sweet voice of Maria and her blatant attempts at flirting with Seth. I also pretended not to notice how he deflected them every time.

"He guys how bout sandwiches?" Bree asked motioning toward a little shop that boasted 77 different sandwiches.

"I love a place with plenty of options!" I said and started toward the sandwich shop. We pushed a few tables together and took turns ordering. Everyone was still kinda sticking with the people they road with so Seth and I ended up on opposite ends. Daniel took a seat next to me while we ate and despite us not really having the chance to talk since I got here, he was proving to be quite the comedian. I was bursting with laughter through the entirety of our lunch. By the time we finished I had a bit of a belly ache from laughing so much while I was eating.

Our next stop was an arcade a little further down the boardwalk.

"Hey Lex, you hoop?" Daniel asked

"Absolutely not!" I laughed.

"Haha it's all good I'll teach you to shoot a basket." He dragged me over to the basketball game and put a few quarters in. After putting a ball in my hands he moved to stand behind me and lifted my arms so I was holding the ball closer to my chest. "Okay so you're gonna hold your arms up like this and when you're ready aim for the basket and just kinda flick your wrists when you throw it." I did what he said and low and behold, the ball went went in.

"Well that was easy." I nudged him playfully.

"Oh yeah? Well since you're such a pro now this game can get a little more competitive. I'm gonna kick your ass Uley." He chuckled

"Oh you are so on!" I smirked. We played a couple of games and of course I got my ass kicked just as he said. "No fair, you've definitely been doing this longer than me." I said.

"I'm sure you'll beat me next time, ya know, in your dreams." He said, holding his fingers in an L shape against his forehead.

"Hey Lexi, come over here!" Connie called. I left Daniel to play his game some more and went to see what was up. She tugged me into the photo booth and shut the curtain. "So is making Seth jealous a new tactic or something?"

"Huh? What are you talking about now?" I asked her.

"Ah so you are actually oblivious. Since you obviously haven't noticed, Daniel has pretty much been flirting with you since we got out of the car and Seth's teeth are probably down to nubs from all of the grinding he's put them through."

"Are you serious? Daniel's been FLIRTING with me and Seth's MAD? I've literally just been trying to enjoy myself so I don't seem ungrateful about you guys coming all the way out here to celebrate with me. Seth on the other hand has ignored me since we left the cars this morning! How can he be mad if he refused to hang out with me himself?"

"He's probably waiting for you Lex." I looked at her quizzically "If what you've told me is true, then Seth has been chasing you since you got back."

"He told me we couldn't just be friends, at least not without people around, he said he'd just end up getting hurt." I said sullenly

"Exactly, now if you felt the way he does wouldn't you do the same thing he's done? Wouldn't you wait on him to make the next move?" She explained. I just stared at her, I'm sure I looked comical with my mouth opening and closing like a fish.

"Shit." I said under my breath and I pushed the curtain back and stormed out on a mission. I kept searching and searching until finally I found my target playing ski ball toward the back of the building. "Seth..." his name was but a whisper on my tongue but even over the noise I know he heard me.

He turned his head toward me and stood up straighter. I marched forward quickly and, before I could stop myself, threw my arms around his neck startling him enough that he leaned forward just as I wanted and I kissed him. I could feel the nerves in my body start to tingle, this kiss was so much more than just that. It was an apology, it was a promise, it was...just more.

I pulled away slowly and turned to go back to Connie, when I felt him grab onto my wrist and yank me back. He'd been to stunned to kiss me properly before I guess but he was ready now. I smacked into his chest and he bent to wrap his arms around my thighs, pulling me up with him so we were the same height so to speak. His lips crashed against mine, full of passion and longing and his own promises.

"Seth I-"

"Ssh no no don't say anything, you'll ruin it." He chuckled and kissed me again. "I'm kissing my dream girl right now and that's all I wanna think about." Someone scoffed behind us.

"If you would be so kind as to leave us the hell alone, Seth and I were playing ski ball." Maria huffed.

"We'll talk later, Seth." I smirked and he kissed my lips once more before allowing me to slide back to the ground. I went back to where Connie was still sitting in the photo booth and sat down with her. "How are you so damn smart woman. I owe you a fruit basket or something." I nudged her.

"I really should be charging for my services shouldn't I?" She said. We both laughed and I slipped a quarter into the machine so we could actually take pictures.

We didn't stay in the arcade for long after that. We were all ready to move on to the next activity. The tension Maria was giving off was palpable, but it had nothing on the tension between me and Seth. It was vastly different but still tension all the same.

As we were walking back to the cars so we could drive to the movie theater, Seth moved up and grabbed hold of my hand. I blushed deeply and he just smiled that bright, sunny smile at me.

"Ya know guys, I'm actually kinda wiped...I'm ready to go home." Maria said as we finally made it back to our vehicles.

"Aw what!?! Maria, you drove, you can't just leave." Connie crossed her arms.

"Yeah well tough tits, I'm ready to go so anyone who rode with me needs to get in the car." She huffed and eyed Seth knowingly.

"If that's the case then why don't we all go back to my place and watch movies? We can pile up in my room." I suggested.

"Are you sure your brother won't mind Lex?" Peggy asked.

"Of course not! He'll be fine." I waved her off.

"Sounds good to me." Gabe followed "Pile in guys, let's get moving."

"Yo, you got room for one more over there Gabe?" Seth asked.

"Yeah dude hop in!" Gabe threw over his shoulder as he got into the drivers seat. There was a huff from where Maria had been standing but we all ignored it and got a move on. I pulled out my phone and quickly sent a text to Sam.

Me: Quick act normal I'm bringing muggles to the house

S: Huh? What are muggles?

Me: Omg, stop right there! It's a phrase from Harry Potter

S: Never read the books, never saw the movies.

Me: You are far too young to not have at least seen a movie! Stop acting like an old man

S: I do not act like an old man.

Me: You're 23 years old and you go to bed by 8pm

S: I like a good night's rest!

Me: That's besides the point I'm bringing normal humans to the house so no wolf stuff

S: That's all you had to say.

Me: Yeah whatever, also we are watching Harry Potter in its entirety the next time they do a marathon on tv.

S: I guess that's okay.

"What's that smirk about?" Seth asked as he settled in for the long ride home.

"My brother's dumb." I said.

"Well that's old news sweetie." He nudged my shoulder.

"Har har, anyways we're all good to head straight to my place."
