dogs

They're congregated in Harvey's office, Mike in tow since Rachel was out on maternity leave, after working on a case that's truly kicking their butts. Donna's job description doesn't typically involve helping directly with cases anymore, but it was all hands on deck for this one.

So they'd gathered in his office, to work through lunch, but as per usual when you're working with your best friends and spouse the conversation turns to life instead of work and they found themselves laughing and quoting movies. They'd somehow shifted into telling marriage stories while they shared sandwiches and salads, and they weren't sure how but somehow the conversation had turned into which couple is more touchy-feely in public.

"Okay, but you guys go at it like dogs, I swear," Mike said, spearing some lettuce on his fork.

Donna, eyebrows high and eyes wide, responded, "Okay, first of all, shut up. Second of all, it's 'like rabbits' not 'like dogs' okay?"

Harvey could barely hide the smirk behind his sandwich. He loved it when Donna gave Mike shit for anything.

"Well, all I know is, three weeks ago when I came by to drop the Bailey deposition off at your house, you weren't doing 'rabbit style', Donna," Mike retorted.

Harvey's sandwich hit his desk and Donna dropped her fork, immediately turning to lock eyes with Harvey, flabbergasted.

"Mike!" Harvey exclaimed with a growl.

"What the fuck, Mike?" Donna said, eyes still wide in shock.

"Y'all should really learn to close your bedroom door, that's all I'm saying," Mike said with a smirk and a shrug.

Donna turned and glared at Harvey, as Mike watched the scene unfold.

"Did you know about this?" She asked Harvey, in that reprimanding tone she had adopted after he put that ring on her finger.

"Donna, I swear, I didn't," He said holding his hands up defensively.

Turning back to Mike, Donna just glared before smiling triumphantly, "Mike, I'd be careful if I were you, you know I know things."

Mike gulped and Harvey smirked.

He really should know better than to mess with Donna Paulsen.
