Lincoln was always caring and extremely selfless, his sisters can surely stand their ground on such sayings even though he had gotten himself a few times in unfavourable situations. He knew how to skillfully handle each and every one of them and it wasn't difficult to tell when they wanted something from him, afterall he graciously complied to the best of his ability, not always in succession but his determination was admirable at least. Perhaps that is why our friend is terrible at lying.

"He said Ross! You heard Ross! Um- Their um- confusing me! With the past workers! Ya know a guy named Ross used to work here and all, darn why can't they get it right?" Lincoln reacted instantly by blurting anything that came to his mind, at the very least it should be enough to steer his dear sisters back on the track, well Leni at least.

"Um Linky are you sure? I know you haven't been working here for a long time but shouldn't it be enough for them to get your name right? Not to mention your literally the only person with that kind of hair, well there's pop pop but there's no way it could be him. I don't want to believe it but, are you hiding something from us?" At this point Lincoln really believed that if Lori wasn't kidding about wanting to be a CEO, she would be missing out on all the cases she could solve, heck! even sherlock holmes would have agreed.

"Linky... Is it true? Don't you trust us?" Having not been warned about the situation beforehand the familia was at a severe disadvantage. To think that even though they group was a considerable force in the underground they were at risk of being discovered by two female teenagers however Magus was the first one to offer a suggestion.

"We should take these girls down, there too dangerous to be left alive." And it seemed as though no one was pleased with the idea. "W-What? Hey i'm just trying to help alright." His friends will surely remember this moment.

"What? Of course I trust you guys but you need to understand that my line of work is not something that kids your age should be involved in." He gave them a quick head pat, something that Leni loved while Lori found it hard to pass up but that didn't make it any less embarrassing. Such an affectionate scene was touching to the familia who had rarely seen the boss care for others but that mean that he was heartless, just really serious with his position. Hopefully the girls had lost their will to further pursue the matter.

"But that still doesn't explain why he called you boss? Did you literally think I was gonna believe that lie?" Lori knew Lincoln would often lie to protect them but what about now? One thing's for sure she never stop until she gets the answer she wants.

"If that's what you want..." There was a drastic change in his tone and his nervous smile quickly faded, soon replaced with a neutral look. He took a nearby chair and sat down ready to tell them everything they needed to know.

"Listen you two, I know that you'll be prying into this situation soon enough and you'll probably have a sister meeting about it either way. My line of work is nothing to mess around with, the worst possible scenario is you guys getting hurt for something I did, but before that both of you are going to keep this between us and in the event that the others do find out, it's too late to go back anyway so the best solution would be to leave you guys behind." Lincoln was dead serious about this and the two girls couldn't even imagine what he was going to do next. "You too don't seem too convinced but mark my words... Should anyone find out you guys that's the last of me understand?" They both nodded as fast as they could, whenever they were in trouble their older would speak softly to them and encourage them not to commit the same mistake twice, but this tone was far beyond anything they could tolerate and surely Leni was starting to tear up. "These men behind me are all dangerous individuals who I will ask to keep tabs on you from time to time, they have no ill intentions but should my opposers show up, they will inform me and keep you safe for the time being understand?" They nodded once again, Lincoln thought it safe to withheld some information from them as it seemed that Leni could only handle so much. Maybe being harsh was only making the situation worse and soon Leni would crack under pressure if someone asked her about the issue. "This will stay between the three of us, I won't hide anything else from you but it doesn't seem as if you can handle everything at the moment so... I Lincoln Loud swear that I will protect you from all harm as long as you stay with me." Knowing that the girls were weak to his expressions, he pulled them into his arms softly whispered into their ears. "Will you trust me?"

"Aw, I trust you Linky."

"Well I- I won't tell anyone else... But you have to let us work here! Who knows what will happen if we don't watch over you? Those wicked witches will literally steal your heart before we know it!" It was unexpected on her part but she could use this to turn her situation more favourable.

"What? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?" Even in a situation like this someone always had their smart remarks.

"Shut it, I'll deal with you later."

"Yes Sir."

"As long as you the cat stays in the bag i'll let you guys work here, under my supervision of course."

"I can live with that." Nothing would've been able to remove the smug look she carried now.

"Yay! But, will the kitty be alright?"

"He wasn't being serious Leni, there is no kitty." Except a few other things.

"Since that's settled, Magus do we have any more formal attires for our newest employees."

"Uh yea but um i'm not sure if that's um something you would want them to wear..."

"Nonsense! If my girls are going to work for me then they should at least look the part."

"Young Misses, the changing rooms are in the second door to the left, the clothing are in the blue boxes." Magus leaded them to a door which somewhat led to a long hallway"

"Building's bigger than I thought..."

"Yes it is, we were thinking of expanding to a second story but that doesn't matter right now, do take your time young misses."

"Thanks but, do you really need to address us like that?"

"For the sake of my life, yes."

Several minutes later both girls re-entered the main room attracting Lincoln's attention in the process however, his face showed no joyous expression but rather a series of raised eyebrows and confused gestures.

"Wow! This is like totes adorable." Leni was super excited about your unique style of dress however not everyone would've had the same opinion.

"Wow, a maid uniform? Why's the skirt so short? Actually it fits well, too well for my size... Why do you even have this? Don't tell me you keep these for those despicable witches!? How dare you employ those wicked vixens!?"

"Hey easy there now, why do you enjoy coming up with these names just to slander them?"

"Sorry boss the uniforms are my fault, while we ordering we didn't tell them that we wanted male uniforms... and they assumed we were buying for poster girls or some weird ritual or something." Magus was nervous whenever it came to confessing his mistakes but who wasn't? Each passing second felt like a eternity to him and he could even hear Al whispering in the corner, probably explaining to them how they both got scammed by a 3rd rate clothing company from a single mistake.

"Ritual? That doesn't matter anyway, not like we lost anything in particular. Steven, bring them up to speed we're opening in 20 minutes."

"On it sir."

"The rest of you we'll continue this meeting next week, same time, the location might change eventually any questions?"

"Negative Sir."

"Excellent, you may return to your respective businesses. but before that I want you to avoid going to the northern district and it would be nice if you could inform the others as well."

"But Boss isn't that the where Jade market is?" The Jade market is a rather large building owned by the Agathes familia, it's more of a Jade casino to easily rob the locals who were in search of 'quick and easy' fortunes, their supplies are said to have come from a newly discovered mine but those scheming low lives would only announce it's discovery after depleting it's resources of course and then any peculiar rock found in the cave would be passed off as 'possible jade' and sold at unreasonable prices.

"What about it? It's a scam to invest in empty rocks, besides 9 different familias have entered the city recently making a total of 14 gangs in this area and don't forget the street thugs roaming around without a care in the world their bound to be fighting over that area. Royal woods is about to change drastically but whatever happens I'm coming out on top."

-Several Hours later-

Lincoln was right, business was rather slow today even though some of the regulars showed up. They ordered coffee then hid their blushes behind their books whenever Lincoln passed by, the usual routine however, Carol Pingrey, one of Lori's friends showed up after seeing Vanzilla parked up at front. Despite their close relationship Lori suspected her of trying to get closer to Lincoln and now she needed to keep mental tabs on it.

"Alright we're home girls." Lincoln turned off the engine after parking the rundown vehicle in the driveway. The girls followed Lincoln as they walked up the front porch engaged in their own thoughts to care about their surroundings but came back to their senses when Lincoln reached into his pockets for the spare keys before he could insert them, the door slowly cracked itself open leaving freezing them in their spaces.

"Wow Lincoln you're so cool! You can open the door without actually using your hands!" Clueless Leni, he worries for her sometimes maybe their may be a way to fix that condition in the future.

"You two stay here, I'll be back"

"What!? But what if you get hurt? We don't know who's in there?"

"Have you forgotten who I am already?" She could no longer fight against him, especially when he had that damn smile on his face. As the teen entered the house he glanced around each corner and space. "Nothing seems to be missing... Perhaps they forgot to lock the door?" Lincoln wandered into the kitchen still wary of intruders he spotted broken pieces of glass here and there however, laying on the floor was the body of Lynn Sr. loud, his very own father at this point a series of thoughts ran through his head, 'Drugged? Murdered? Is he even still alive!? Who would do such a thing!? It must be those sweepers! Those low-life assassins whose only source of income is doing someone's dirty work, what? But there's no blood! Only one person was capable of doing that, who? Red Mary! Yes it must be her.' "You bastard... You better pray for mercy because when I get my hands on you I'll-"

*Cough *Cough "My boy, is that...is that you?"

"Dad! You're still alive! Hurry up we need to get you to the hospital immediately!"

"No don't, It's useless. Doctor bernard doesn't treat depression on tuesdays and thursdays."

"Wait what? Are you hurt?"

"Yes sadly, I suffered major injuries to my pride as a man."

"Wha- What are you talking about?

"I lost my job so I came home early, brought some alcohol to drown my sorrows but for some reason I couldn't even open it so I was reduce to sulking on the floor after it fell off the table."

"Oh wow um, you've had quite a day... What are you gonna do now?"

"Be a stay at home dad that cooks and drowns in alcohol. How was the trip today do the girls still want to work?" Lincoln was perplexed that his father could still worry about petty things like that in this situation.

"Well yes, My plan went up in smoke after you know who was there, even worse they know about my situation now so I offered them jobs in return for their secrecy."

"Let me guess Al screwed up?"

"How you know?"

"He's just that kind of guy."

"Since their working at my cafe how about I transfer ownership to you? That way you have a job you can enjoy and keep tabs on the girls." Lincoln scanned his surroundings again before speaking in a soft whisper.

"Really? You'd let me work there?" Lynn Sr. quickly picked up on his initiative to keep their voices down, after all you never know who was listening in and surely Luan might have cameras nearby.

"Heh Is that even a question? You're family and naturally i'd want the best for us all."

"Aww, Bring it in boy."

"Dad please don't do that you're making this weird." Despite his protests it was nice to see his father in better spirits again but, curiosity will always kill the cat speaking of cats where's cliff?

"Lincoln! Are you still alive!? If you're still alive say something!" Turning to Lynn Sr. Lincoln brought him up on his feet and made their way to the door. Lori and Leni ran towards them as soon as their figure came into sight.

"Dad aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"Are you guys ok?"

"Was it thieves?"

"Serial killers?"

"The witches from the cafe!"

"What? Do you hate those girls that badly... Well he's fine anyway nothing happened really." Lynn took a seat in the family chair, thanks to the generous offer his boy suggested his mood had greatly improved.

"I'm fine there's no need to stress over me, you should go get the rest of the family."

"Well... Alright then, I'll be back soon."

-Royal Woods Middle School-

As the school's bell went off, children made their way to their homes that were in distances while others remained as their means of transportation had not yet arrived. As the number of students decreased over time, so did their friends and company. However one girl with light brown hair and a large ponytail sat by herself waiting on her ride, her friends had different reasons to be home early leaving with in turn, allowed her return to the more troubling matters at hand. A plan that involved utmost precision and timing, there was no room for mistakes and Luan Loud knew that very well. Lincoln was the most caring and helpful brother anyone could have ever wanted so naturally they all wanted him to spend time on the things they loved to do but it's only 10 sisters and 1 Lincoln. Luan could remember the time she collaborated with Leni to get his attention however due to her sister's mental issue, Leni forgot about the whole idea and had Lincoln with her at the mall instead. Luan didn't blame her for that anyway knowing that it would be useless to argue since their brother would get in-between and go through terrible lengths for them to make up again. This time however, was going to be different since she spent all night devising a plan to let Lincoln naturally fall into her grasps, she needed to ensure that her other siblings are kept away from him, she would lose some valuable assets in the end but it was necessary to thoroughly execute the idea. Seemed solid enough but, something just didn't feel right...

"Aw Lincoln's not here yet? What's taking him so long? I wanted to show him my new song." How could she be so careless!? Of course she forgot something and it's been next to her the whole time! Was her plan all for nothing? No she had to improvise as soon as possible so she needed every detail, there was no turning back now not when victory was just in reach.

"Oh hey Lulu, you said you made a new song?"

"Sure did brah, you want to hear it?"

"That would be nice." The song was good, amazing in fact but all the more why it was dangerous. If Lincoln heard heard it for himself surely he would feel the need to join her in their composing and that usually ended with him losing track of time and spending the entire day with Luna, not the ideal image of victory but what else can she do at this point? Then it came to her.

"YES THAT'S IT!"

"I know right! it makes you wanna shout ROCKKKKING!"

"Yes um it certainly does." 'Oops guess my thoughts leaked for second there need to be more careful from now on.'

*Vroom *Vroom

"You guys don't look like you wanna go home." The teen laid back in his seat, his feet was crossed on the dashboard. Assuming that it would be plain stupid to drive in that manner, not to mention impossible, they knew that Lincoln was watching them the whole time.

"Big bro you're finally here!" The two girls rushed inside the van, allowing Lincoln to get target his next destination.

"Nice song by the way Lulu."

"Aw thanks bro."

"Darn." Just as she had suspected, He was indeed watching the whole time and now her plan was at risk of failure but, she could still do something about it all she need was patience... and lots of money but nevertheless tomorrow was the last day of the week, another of the many burdens lifted off her shoulders.

-Later that evening-

The Loud family were busy with their own interests, Lori and Leni was boasting about their new job to Luna and Luan while the younger siblings were taking their turn watching shows on the family television, though Lisa hardly showed any interest during most of them. Lincoln was helping his father with preparations for dinner while his mother fell fast asleep in her seating at the table, it was a long day at work for her since she had to work overtime due to one of her co-worker's sudden injury. She found it strange that someone could've been robbed and beaten to the point of hospitalization in plain daylight while in Royal woods city, she couldn't understand it but she hopped no harm would fall on her dear family.

Luan felt a wave of relief come over her when her older sisters declared they had gotten new jobs, in truth she was very happy for them but if they spent time with Lincoln at work, then that crosses the them off the list for the rest of the week which meant she didn't have use half of her life savings to buy Lori a new phone, wasn't entirely sure what to do about Leni but at least the problem was resolved.

"So son when can I start working?"

"What do you mean manager?" The two males laughed together at his clever remarks.

"Although, would you still be there?"

"Yes i'll stop by from time to time and check up on the girls or offer some service when the store gets packed, but the city is starting to change, things will start to get hectic now."

"I'm aware of that, did you know a series of patients were admitted to the hospital from different locations? The police claimed that the victims were last seen at that new Jade market place, but shockingly all the patients have lost memory and didn't even know what they did for the entire week leading up to the events. They did some investigations and didn't find anything, not like I expected them to."

"I'm assuming their robbing them of the Jade they found and erasing their memories but how is that possible?"

"Drugged perhaps?"

"Then they would've have to get them to use the drug in advance before entering the Market but can it be so effective?"

"Maybe they beat them so bad that it disrupts their brain capacity?"

"I think they would be dead by then otherwise the doctors would've pointed out injuries to the head specifically." He was getting somewhere with his clues but they weren't quite close enough. In fact Lincoln felt that their methods would be something bizarre and cruel.

"Well, guess we'll find out soon enough."

"I'll make sure of it."

Later after dinner Luan was revising the plan once again, after all there's no room for mistakes and if she did fail there'd be no room at all. 'One last time, Lori and Leni are out of the game, Lynn should be a good girl with all that chocolate, Lucy has to organise funerals for several fake pets, sorry Luce but all's 'fake' in war, Lana should be 'volunteering' to Lola's tea party and Lisa, I think you'll find your playdate with Darcy and Lily to be fun, not to mention unexpected haha, not that just leaves Luna.' "Geez I can't believe i'll be spending this much money on a music record, well they did say it was limited edition and it was cheap, well whatever happens I must get it."

"Why are you always throwing you dirty playthings on my side of the room!? Keep your dumb toys over on your side!"

"No you should keep your stuff on your side!"

"That's where it is!" The twins fighting each other was inevitable, that's just how they are and naturally before things got out of hand someone would always put and end to it, mainly because they wanted to go back bed. Lincoln sat up on his bed, seems as if the twins' bickering annoyed the rest of their siblings as well. The teen left his room to settle their dispute however on reaching the entrance he was confronted by another of his siblings.

"Lori? What's the meaning of this?"

"Don't worry bro! I got this." Lori, seeing that the twins were at each other's throats again, proceeded to make an impression on her older brother. "Girls, there's literally no need to fight over something so insignificant, we're better than this right?" Lana and Lola gazed at the each then at Lori, the process repeated for some time until the twins smiled at each other. "Great! now that you've-"

"Why do we have to listen to you?" Ah how vicious Lola can be.

"Yeah! you're not the boss of us!"

"What? No I was only trying to help."

"So what? You can't tell us what to do!"

"And why is that?" Lincoln stood with his arms crossed in the doorway. Sometimes it's not as easy as it seems, especially when they side with each other to defeat their common opponent. "I appreciate your effort Lori you did try, I'll just take it from here." The snow hair teen walked over to the no longer bickering twins, at this time they didn't have it in them to fight over something pointless, either way the moment he would've entered the room their Lincoln points would be drained dramatically, yes Lincoln points. A system Lisa came up with to determine their brother's sociability with them, the results aren't always accurate as Lisa could've rigged it to disrupt the plans that some might have so few of them use the results table. The looks on the twins casted towards the floor, they were too afraid to look at his face. He was about to speak when he felt a tug on his pajamas.

"I- I want to help you."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes... Please." Lincoln smiled at her determination be a better sister or at least that's how he saw it.

"What do you have to say for yourself girls?"

"I didn't mean it, I was only trying to keep my side clean, I didn't want to disturb you guys either I'm sorry everyone."

"It's my fault for not putting away my stuff, i'm sorry too."

"Yea we won't do it again."

"It's nice that you're understanding this at least but how can I be sure that you won't have another quibble? Any suggestions Lori?"

"Uh, we could watch over them until fall asleep or how about a sleepover?"

"Well we'll go with that then."

"I'll go get Leni."

Lincoln arranged their sleeping bags between the twins beds, the twins would sleep on their beds while Leni and Lori would sleep by his sides. Leni was of course cheerful to be able to sleep next to her brother and even spoke to him nonstop before tiring herself to sleep. Happy that everyone was able to strengthen their bonds Lincoln could now rest easy, however when he reopened his eyes he felt a great deal of pressure on his chest and couldn't move his arms. 'What's going on is this a nightmare? How often do I get those?' However as his eyes adjusted to the darkness he could make out the shape of the room and the twins along with Lori and Leni, trying to steal a piece of him for themselves.

'So it is a nightmare... cute but, I think I need to use the bathroom..."

And that's that, now time to take heavy criticism from staff members for not going with their ideas XD

Now I need reasons to justify my choosings.

Remind me to get new word formattings, I spend 40% of the time on the finished stories correcting what the copy and paste messed up and I miss some of them like 70% of the time. Even so I dont understand how word says I have 300 more words here than what I originally typed.

Until next time!
