Disclaimer: I don't own Lucifer, or the characters from Buffy and Angel.
A/N: Spike and Lucifer seem like two characters who should cross paths and since DB Woodside was in Buffy it seemed natural to do a crossover (I made up Robin's ultimate fate, I have no idea if he was referenced in later comics). For those who only watched Buffy, Illyria was a character from Angel. Lucifer timeline is anytime after Dan knows the truth.
Lucifer strolled through Lux and was surprised by the bleached blond man at the bar. "Of all the clubs in all the world, William the Bloody walks into mine."
"Spike," Spike corrected.
Lucifer looked at the black duster, black jeans and t-shirt. "How'd you get passed the dress code?"
Spike sipped his scotch. "I know people."
Lucifer helped himself to a drink at his bar. "So, what brings you here? It's been what? Fifty years since our last encounter?"
"Something like that. Didn't think you'd ever take up residency in LA."
Lucifer raised his eyebrows. "Same to you. I heard you were involved in that little apocalypse that allowed me to suck the worst of the demons into hell? How'd that happen?" Lucifer took a step back. "Shit. Is that a soul on you?! I thought that was only a one time only curse for King Brood."
"Unlife is a complicated thing. You should understand wanting to shake things up."
Lucifer sipped his drink. "Fair enough. How'd you get it?"
"A trial in Africa but I think the demon is dead."
"Still, I actually know a demon who may be interested in checking it out."
"Thought you banned your own demons from coming up from hell?"
"Maze is different."
Spike nearly choked on his drink. "Maze wants a soul?" Spike looked around. "She around?"
"Not sure. What happened to Angelus -slash- Angel?"
Spike shook his head. "Liam. Poof became human and went back to his human name after that apocalypse. He's a kept man in Rome."
"I'm not sure if that's more or less surprising than my turn into police consultant."
Spike scoffed. "Oh fuck off, Morningstar. You're working with the police?" Spike went over to a girl and took cocaine from her jacket. "You're an undercover Narc, are you?"
"I said consultant, not Patron Saint of Police."
There was one thing that could possibly make Lucifer join the police and it was the same thing that would make Spike get a soul. "A woman?"
"Of course."
Annoyance struck Lucifer when Dan and Amenadiel came into the club and over to them. Spike was shocked. "Thought you died training a slayer, not that I cared," Spike said to Amenadiel.
Amenadiel blinked in confusion. "Excuse me?"
"Oh don't act like you didn't try to kill me because we're in front of a so-called police consultant."
"I've never seen you before," Amenadiel told the strange peroxided man...er… vampire.
Dan chuckled. "What'd you do Lucifer? Hire an opposite you?"
Amenadiel shorted. "Bleach hair not dark, casual outfit and leather coat not a suit, good one."
"No it wasn't," Lucifer protested. "Opposite me wouldn't have an accent. Detective Tried-To-Kill-Me, any time you want to bromance divorce my brother the way you divorced my Detective, I'll work out the custody of the bad jokes."
"He's your brother?" Spike questioned. "He's an angel?" Spike shook his head. "Speaking of Angel," Spike got in Amenadiel's face, "he's with Faith. She makes a lot of money guarding people or art or something in Italy. How's that sound?"
"Congratulations to them?" Amenadiel said. "I don't know Faith or Angel, are they missionaries with those names?"
"Who is this guy?" Dan asked.
"Seems like a vampire but I'm also reading soul," Amenadiel said.
"Vampires are real?" Dan asked. "Oh c'mon." This was too much for a regular guy.
"They've generally been banished from LA since a battle," Lucifer said. "There are so many vampire slayers now they're not nearly the threat they were, anyway."
"You're welcome," Spike said. "I died for that cause."
"Before or after the soul? Why weren't you sent to me if you had the soul?" Lucifer asked.
"I was trapped in an amulet for nineteen days then was a ghost tied to a law firm."
"I need a drink," Dan declared, his eyes bugging out. "A triple."
"Let's get you one," Amenadiel said. "It's Dads Night Out."
"That's horrifying," Lucifer stated. "Many millennia ago, Daniel, Daddy Dearest was working on his universe and part of her jealous rage, Mommy Dearest essentially trolled him by making worlds of demons that eventually mixed into his and caused vampires and other nasties. But they're not to be confused with my own in Hell. You remember Mom, don't you?"
"Spike," a deep female voice shouted. "I've found a companion. You may join us but I'm going to help hurt hunt something called a human bounty," Illyria, a blue haired, leather clad demon, said joining the men. Leather clad Maze was with her.
"Oh stop," Dan muttered, eying Illyria. "You're all hazing me. Some kind of test to see how much I can take?"
"My Dad, you're so self involved," Lucifer retorted.
"How can he say that and not catch fire?" Dan asked Amenadiel.
"I'm really not sure," he answered.
"Spike," Maze finally spoke. "You know Illyria? We're going to bounty hunt." Maze eyed Illyria appreciatively. They had swapped stories of torture.
"I wanted him as a pet but we're demon hunters together," Illyria answered. "We returned to this city to see if it's really under control after we left it. But Spike is here looking for someone to have sexual intercourse with."
"You don't want sex?" Maze asked Illyria, becoming disappointed. Though Spike was known to be a good time...
"I do not require it but it can be what the humans call pleasurable."
"You should go with them," Lucifer said to Spike. "He may have a lead on a soul."
"Mazikeen here feels like the humans with the souls. She is of no threat to innocents," Illyria declared.
"Guilty humans are another story," Maze pointed out. "Come with. Threesomes are always fun."
"See you around, Morningstar." Spike started to head out.
"Wait," Lucifer called out. "Your girlfriend, Drusilla, where is she?"
"We broke up over twenty years ago."
"What?" Maze was shocked. "Is this what humans feel when they see those celebrity break-ups?
"I must agree," Lucifer said. "You were eternal."
"Apparently nothing's really eternal."
"Well," Lucifer continued, "I was gonna say if she's still… y'know…." Lucifer pointed his index finger at his head and turned it making the international sign for crazy, "I know the best psychiatrist. Quite possibly a miracle worker."
"There's still work to do," Dan whispered to himself.
"Oh no," Maze protested, ignoring Dan, "Linda does not need Dru in her life. You're project enough."
"Yeah, it's just me she's fixing."
Spike, Maze and Illyria left and as they exited Chloe walked in. "Who did Maze leave with? What's going on?" she asked.
"Aside from Maze maybe being off to an orgy or a job, I have absolutely no idea what just happened," Dan declared. "Is Linda busy tonight? I may need to see her."
A/N: Hope you all liked it! This story is complete. Sorry if I disappointed anyone with Angel/Faith but I didn't want to take Spike/Buffy Angel/Buffy sides and I always wanted Angel/Faith to hook up. Feel free to let me know in a review if there's a lot of crossover viewers in the shows and perhaps it'll inspire me to think of a story in which Angel and Lucifer cross paths.
