Should probably mention this, but I don't own any of The Legend of Zelda, that belongs to Nintendo. I own my Oc's, which you can probably guess which ones they are.

Dylan groaned as he continued to trudge across Hyrule Field. The sky had turned a glimmering orange, but the group didn't have time to appreciate nature. Adar had already collapsed twice and Navi had complained more times then Dylan could count and had taken to resting inside his cap. Speaking of the hat, Dylan could only guess why Saria made his so long. The other Kokiri he had seen with the hat had short ones, but Dylan's stretched all the way to his heels. He shrugged, for he would probably never find out.
"We're coming up to that farm. Lets see if we can stay there for tonight." Dylan said. His team only groaned in response. They walked up to the gate, to see a caravan being loaded. The man loading said thing was tall and lanky, with a beer gut and a slim handlebar mustache. Dylan thought he looked alot like Luigi from Super Mario.
"Ehh, what do you want?" The man asked, leering at the human and Scrub. Navi finally came out from the cap to talk.
"We need to rest here for tonight. We need to get to the castle.' The man snickered as he waved off Navi like a fly. He loomed over Dylan with a sneer. He got flashbacks to school, when his teachers would do the same to chastise him. He instantly started fidgeting.
"And what makes you think I'll do that for you, boy. This is my ranch, so I think you, that walking tree, and this bothersome bug, should just go on and git'!" Dylan flinched at the words as Adar hung his head low, and Navi's glow became a deep purple. Dylan felt the cold, clammy hands of the guy grab him and bring him to his eyes.
"And if I ever see you again on my, I won't hesitate to-"
"INNNGOOO!" The man, apparently named Ingo, dropped Dylan and straightened up as a man came around the corner.
If Ingo was supposed to be Luigi, this dude was definitely Mario. He was large, had a receding hairline but somehow still had a cowlick. His overalls looked just like the famous plumber.
"What are ya' doing? We gotta get ready to go. It's gonna take us all night to get to the Castle town."
Dylan's eyebrows shot up. "You're going to the castle. Do you think you could take us there?" The man then noticed Dylan and loomed over him, just the way Ingo did. Dylan fumbled in his pockets for the bag of rupees.
"Here, I have money. Will that be eno-"
"Sure! No charge!" Dylan hesitantly put the money back in his pocket as Ingo and the other guy began to put more hay in the cart.
"Well, it's good that we don't have to pay for anything." Navi said.
"And we'll be able to get to the castle quickly without walking." Adar added. Dylan only nodded as he watched the horse tied to the cart eat grass off the ground. Wonder why that guy didn't take the rubys, er, rupees he thought.
"Are you from the forest?" Dylan jumped as a voice came right into his ear. He turned to glare but softened when he saw who did it.
It was a girl with long red hair and a white dress. She was barely taller than Dylan, and although her face said otherwise, Dylan could tell she was at least a year older than him.
"Are you from the forest?" She repeated again, shaking Dylan out of his thoughts.
"What? No. I mean, I was there but I'm not from there, just stopping." He answered awkwardly.
"Then why are you wearing such weird clothes? My mom told me that's what the fairy kids wear," she persisted, "That makes you a fairy boy!"
"Woah, woah, woah! I don't know alot about this world, but I know that was majorly racist."
"Racist." She tilted her head like a dog begging for food. Dylan sighed.
"I'm not a Kokiri, I just came from far away and stopped there. And my name is Dylan, by the way.
"Malon." she held out her hand and Dylan shook it. He thought it was weird. He had never been good around girls, or boys for that matter. Yet here he was, chatting with Malon like he had known her since pre-school.
"Alright! Hyrule Castle we go. C'mon kids." The man, Malon told Dylan that was her father Talon, yelled and sat down and grabbed the horse's reins. Dylan only had a few seconds as the caravan started to move before Malon lifted him up.
"So where are you from?" She asked. Dylan smiled lightly as Adar and Navi snoozed peacefully.
"Well, it all started with a gigantic explosion in space by this guy named Christ…"
"So you can watch people, but they're not actually in it?"
"Exactly! And don't even get me started on Video Games." Dylan said as the night grew colder. Adar and Navi were still sleeping, and Castle Town was only a few miles away, although Malon told Dylan they only open their doors at sunrise.
"What are you going to do in castle town, fairy boy?"
"1, that's racist. And 2, it's a secret to everyone." Malon frowned. Dylan sighed.
"Fine. I have to see the princess of destiny because this guy named Ganondorf wants to take over Hyrule with the Triforce. And I think if I find a wizard or something, I might be able to get back home to my mom in Ohio." Malon was quiet for a minute, mulling it over until the strange rattling of bones alerted them.
"Stalchildren, dead ahead!" Talon shouted. Dylan peered over the hay to see what he was talking about. Skeletons with red eyes and loincloths. They were walking shakily towards the cart.
"Stay back." Dylan said as he unsheathed the Kokiri sword and walked towards the Stalchildren. They immediately snapped their heads toward him and charged.
"Wait, so are these guys actually children!" He cried as he slashed at one. It's bony body crumpled at the hit, and Dylan took a hit at another one.
Suddenly, cold hands wrapped around his throat and threw him into the mud. He didn't have time to stand as the skeletons kicked him while he was down, stomping on him, one even gave him an elbow drop. The only thing Dylan could do was cowering and covering his head as the air was knocked out of him.
"Hey! Stay away from the hero of the Deku!" Adar said as he spit nuts at the Stalchildren. Barely any of them cared as one lunged for Dylan on the ground, wrapping it's bony fingers around his throat. His sword flew from his hands and was overtaken by the dirt, as the Stalchild continued to choke him. Dylan was starting to lose consciousness, even when he saw Malon and Talon get out of the cart to help.
He could see the light fading from his vision as Talon smashed the Stalchild away from him with a frying pan. He hit the mud and didn't get back up. He could hear everybody, screaming his name, shaking him, even when they loaded him back onto the cart. His sword clattered in front of him, before he closed his eyes, blacking out.
Dylan slowly opened his eyes, his throat aching like a burned oak tree. As he tried to stand up, his entire body spaced out, and he slumped back onto bed.
Wait, bed?
He glanced around the room realising where he was, with windows and cobblestone walls. Basically a medieval hospital room.
That fucking skeleton put him in the ER.
"Dylan, you're awake!" A familiar voice cried. Dylan's hat on a nightstand suddenly spit out Navi, who flew around Dylan's face.
"Oh thank goodness, I thought you were dead. We took out the rest of the Stals, and then we rushed you here as soon as the drawbridge came down. But wow, Castle Town is amazing, you should have seen it! And also-" Dylan grabbed Navi like a rubber ball and threw her across the room. He shakily got up, his throat still aching.
"Ah, sir, I'm glad that you are ok," said Adar as he casually strolled in the room, "Malon and Talon brought you here and then went to sell their item. And also, I must say, Hyrule Castle Town is a wondrous place. I saw-" Dylan forced himself to ignore Adar as he picked his cap of the nightstand.
"I'm done." He mumbled as he moved towards the door.
"Wait, what?" Navi said, shaking her wings out.
"I said I'm done. In the past few days, I've dealt with giant spiders, venus flytraps, some dumbass prophecy, and just last night, I almost died to a skeleton. God damn reanimated bones!" His sword and scabbard hung on a coat rack. He grabbed them vigorously and shoved them to the floor.
"But sir, you're supposed to-"
"I'm not supposed to do this! I'm a kid! I'm supposed to make friends, eat snacks without worrying about the consequences." Grabbing the Infinisack, he shoved Adar out of the way and slammed the room door.
"I'm going to find a way home, without potentially dieing!"
"You're out kid." Dylan blinked. It seemed like a millennium before he realised where he was.
"Oh, sorry." He said to the worker, a girl older than him with purple hair. He checked the pouch Kaepora had given him, just as he suspected, empty.
The Bombchu bowling alley was the last place Dylan went to after leaving the Hospital. First he trudged to some kind bar. He remembered in class that during the middle ages, they used to give kids alcohol, or something. However when he tried to ask for some, all he got was water. But when he drank it, he felt like he was walking on air. After that, he stumbled to some kind of mask store, where a creepy looking guy kept trying to give him a mask with a pyramid scheme plan.
And finally the Bombchu Bowling Alley, where he is just about to head out the door.
"Hold on kid. You've been looking down since you wandered in here, what's up?" The employee said, strangely with a bored look on her face. Dylan shrugged and leaned against the wall.
"Why do you care, you're probably making minimum wage."
"Well, yeah that is true, but that doesn't mean I can't help the customers that are looking like the moon just plummeted into the world." Dylan rolled his eyes and shrugged again.
"Well, my friends want me to ki-er, I mean, they want to do something dangerous that might get us into trouble, but I just want to go home, but I can't unless I do this dangerous thing."
"Well, what's this dangerous thing?" The cashier asked.
I have to kill a sorcerer and stop him from getting some weird triangles because if I don't, he'll take over the world. He almost said that before he shook his head. "It's complicated."
The worker shrugged. "Alright kid, no matter. But don't let them pressure you, do whatever you want, for the greater good." Dylan shrugged and nodded.
"Thanks, lady."
"Any time, weird ears." Dylan briefly touched his ears before walking out of the bombchu bowling alley. It was here where he finally saw Castle Town. Hundreds of people were going about their lives, a kid chasing a dog, a couple whispering sweet nothings into each other's ear, and others. Dylan took a second to get his bearings before he strode into the square. What Now? He didn't want to go to that castle, and he needed to find some kind of mage.
"This is going to be harder than I thought." he muttered.
"STOP,THIEF!" A voice screeched, cutting through the waves of people. Dylan could hear the beating of feet in coordination and stepped back, right in the way of someone.
"Watch where you're going, greenie!" The voice said. Dylan opened his quivering eyes to see a kid wrapped in a green cloak, clutching to his chest a bag.
"Who are you calling greenie, ya' hypocrite!" Dylan said. However, the boy's face beneath was one of glee as he glanced over Dylan.
"Hey kid, you mind holding something for me, thanks!" The boy shoved past Dylan, dropping the bag at his feet before disappearing into the crowd.
"Hey jerk," Dylan cried, holding the pouch towards the sky, "You left your thing!" He waited for him to come back, but he was long gone.
"Found you, street rat!" Dylan felt his arm be grabbed and hoisted into the air. A group of soldiers dressed in chainmail and a Triforce symbol on their chest surrounded Dylan and snatched the bag out of his hand.
"Who're you calling street rat? What is this, Aladin?" He was about to shout again when a person broke through the crowd.
"That's him, he's the one who stole my Rupees!" Dylan leered at the man for a second before shaking his head.
"No, you've got it all wrong, I didn't steal anyth-" He was silenced when the casual end of a spear jabbed him in the gut.
"Silence filth. We know it's you. Who else would wear bright green clothing when pickpocketing?" It came to Dylan at that moment. The kid shoving that bag into his hands, the green cloak…
"Wait, no, really it wasn't me! There was this kid that looked like me, classic clone story, and he put the bag near me, and-" He was stopped again by a spear in the chest. The crowd of Hylians cheered as Dylan was dragged off to the castle. He barfed a little on the way.
When he neared the gates, he saw Malon and Talon holding milk glasses while a couple of guards gave them rupees. He tried to hide his face, but Maln spied him anyway.
"Fairy Boy?" Dylan groaned loudly.
"Malon, I'm innocent, there was this kid, he framed me because we both wear green, and now I'm-" Another butt of a spear in his chest. Dylan saw Malon walk towards him before the guards stopped her. He groaned again when he entered the castle doors. He was greeted with a gigantic hall, something out of Harry Potter. He only had a moment to witness its glory before he turned a corner and was thrown into darkness. The soldiers walked down a set of stairs before standing before bars. Dylan knew what this was.
"Into The dungeon with you, maggot!" Dylan was thrown like a stone as his face planted on to stone. He heard the fading of footsteps and the slam of a door.
"FUCK!" He screamed, the sound rebounding off the walls. The dungeon was cold and desolate, the only life being rats and bugs. Dylan gagged.
"Damn, gotta get outta here." He said to himself, he stood against a wall, raking his head.
"C'mon troops, march!"He heard. Turning around, he noticed a small window, covered with bars like in cartoons. He strained his eyes to see out and saw soldiers stamping by, yelling rhymes about being told what to do. He strained even harder to see,and saw wooden feet walk by. He only knew one person with feet like that.
"Adar, Adar!" He shouted, however it seemed as if he didn't hear him. He walked off, leaving Dylan alone again.
"Damn." He whispered to himself, scratching his neck. His hands grasped the Infinisack, pulling it off. He hummed to himself, reaching into it. He pulled out a spray can, shaking it and testing it. He grinned to himself before tagging on the wall.
"And Terrance said this would only get me into trouble!"
The guard held a tray in his hand, moldy bread, rotten meat and moat water on it. He groaned, trudging down the stairs. His captain had put him to feed the prisoner, some thief with poor fashion sense. He really wanted to go to training, where he could spy on the white-haired bodyguard. He hasn't been able to see since some dumbass tried to see the princess and they upped security. Now she stuck to the girl like glue.
Sighing, he walked up to the cage and rattled the bars.
"Hey brat, come get your fill." He waited for the sound of scraping footsteps, only to be disappointed. Sliding the meal through the bars, he walked up the stars then silently crept back down. It was untouched.
"What the heck?" He fiddled with some keys and opened the cell, stepping inside. What greeted him was a message in stylish graffiti; GOTCHA'!
"Oh shit."he muttered. Stepping back, the back of his head connected with a rock, sending him to the ground. The last thing he saw before coming back to hours later, was a boy, dressed like a booger, whispering, "Gotcha'" into his ear while holding a rock.
Dylan held his back to a column, praying that the soldiers wouldn't spot him. Luckily, they sped by him, giving him time to dive to the next colom. Along the way, he couldn't he couldn't help but stare at the tapestries along the walls. Many of them were breathtaking, showing great battles and fierce looking people. One looked like a giant bird, reminding like the emblems on shields he had seen. Another revealed a strange creature, with a beak of a bird and the body of what looked like Dylan's cap. The last one he saw was a strange looking boy,he couldn't quite tell by his features. He was draped in dark and purple robes with ornaments and looked menacing. Dylan was glad he didn't have to fight him.
"With cat-like reflexes, the deadly ninja Dylan stalks his way through the castle." He narrated, indeed stalking silently. He rolled past some guards as they closed a door, Dylan jumped through into a garden. He was amazed at the light shade of green that filled the place like a watercolor painting.
"Ok, I broke out of jail, now I just have to get out of here…" He leaped onto a hedge and clung to the wall. He tried mightily, but the wall had no nooks he could climb on.
"Did you hear something?" Dylan's heart skipped a bit as he heard the approach of soldiers. He fumbled as he hit dirt and ran around a corner, ducking into a row of flowers.
"Must've been my imagination." He heard the guards say, turning around and heading the other way.
"Well," Dylan said, stretching, "That probably took a couple years off my life."
Walking through the garden, Dylan took a deep smelled like heaven. "Wouldn't mind living here."
Turning yet another corner, he stopped in his tracks and his legs shook violently. Ahead of him was a girl younger than him, wearing a dress with a cloth firmly wrapped around her head. He remembered this was the same girl in his dream.
"Oh my god." He tried to turn his legs to move, but instead his legs moved towards her, Dylan's heart was smashing through his ribs. He stood behind her, finally at his destination. He slowly reached out his hand and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hey." The girl jumped forward, smacking her shoulder as if there was a bug on it. Dylan quickly moved his hand away and winced.
"Who are you?" She asked, backing towards a window, "How did you get past the guards?"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I got thrown in here because I was framed and I break out, I'm innocent and-" He was silenced as the girl smacked her fist against his crotch.
"ACK!" He squeeked, falling to his knees. I didn't hurt that much, but it hurt nonetheless.
"Help! Guards! Impa, I'm-wait a minute…" The girl snatched the cap off Dylan's head and examined it.
"Are you from the forest?" Standing backup, Dylan snatched his cap back and righted himself.
"No, I just stayed there for a minute, people keep thinking that for some reason. Let's get back to the fact you just punched me in the di-"
"I knew it!" She said, poking her finger in his chest. Dylan raised his eyebrows awkwardly and backed away.
"You see, I had a dream, that a dark cloud came over Hyrule and all seemed lost. But then, a bright light came down from the sky, shooting into the forest then exploding out. The storm was gone, and standing in its place was a hero." she looked up with bright eyes at Dylan, who was already walking backwards away.
"Look, I'm sorry that I broke into your castle, but I gotta go. Now." He turned, and immediately stopped again.
"Please?" Dylan sucked in his teeth. He didn't know who this girl was but he felt compelled to hear what she said. He sighed.
"Fine, but I'm only gonna listen to what you say, I'm Not gonna agree to anything." The girl laughed again.
"By the way, my name is Zelda Anastasia Bosomarous Hyrule IV! But you can just call me Zelda, Princess of Hyrule." Dylan blanked. At first he was confused by that Novel-worth name, then he heard princess.
"You wouldn't happen to be the Princess Of Destiny, would you?" Zelda tilted her head and tapped her chin.
"Well, sometimes Impa calls me that, and mom. So, I guess?"
Dylan stared at her for a longtime, even though it was only 5 seconds. Then he quietly took off his hat, placed it over his face, and screamed. Zelda could only hear the muffle yells of him before he placed back on his head.
"Fuck this shit, I'm outta here!" He turned sharply and began to trot away from the courtyard.
"Wait," Zelda yelled, "What about-"
"What about shit! I said I'm not gonna save this weird ass DnD world, and who cares if I took a promise from that tree that I would! I just wanna go home!" He yelled, and once again started walking faster. The soft but quick steps of Zelda's shoes caught up to him.
"But the prophecy-"
"Fuck prophecys."
"But you came from the forest!"
"I also come from Ohio, what's your point?"
"My point is you are destined to save this land!"
"Well how is that going to help me get home, huh?"
"Because the Triforce can grant a wish!"
Dylan stopped in his tracks. He turned around to look at Zelda, who couldn't have been older than 8.
"The Triforce can do what?" She sighed and rubbed her arm.
"I guess you already know about the sacred triangles. The Triforce is able to grant somebody's deepest desires. If you get ahold of it and not let it fall into the wrong hands, it will grant your wish to go home."
"Where is it." Dylan said. Princess Zelda flinched and pointed east.
"It's in the Temple Of Time, but-"
"Great, seeya." He once again turned around but was grabbed by Zelda.
"Will you stop for a minute! I haven't explained anything yet!" Dylan sighed, probably for the thousandth time and turned back, glaring.
"You need the spiritual stones, and-"
"Good, I already have it."
"No. Stones. Plural. And let me finish." Dylan rolled his eyes. Zelda smiled warmly, then her face became serious. The world started to darken as Zelda disappeared.
"The secret of the Royal Family of Hyrule. Take this secret to your grave…"
Dylan began to levitate off the ground. "God Damn it, not this again!" The familiar scene of space came and so did the 3 goddesses. While he had already seen them, he couldn't believe still he was staring at actual gods. The Triforce floated in front of him.
"The Three Goddesses hid the Triforce containing the power of the gods somewhere in Hyrule. The power to grant one's wishes holds the Triforce, could very well change our world." The Goddesses flew away, but the Triforce stayed. It gently shrunk and floated over to Dylan. He snatched it up and immediately started to think of home, hoping it was the real deal.
"If someone with a righteous heart makes a wish it would lead Hyrule into a golden age of prosperity…If someone with an evil mind has their wish granted…" The Triforce in Dylan's hand suddenly pulsed and black pulsing vines snaked through his finger holes and engulfed his hands, with eyes everywhere. He adopted a horrified expression and threw it away.
"...The world will be consumed by evil…That's what has been told…" The scene changed again to Castle Town, but it seemed different and more prehistoric. Dylan could see people building the giant temple he had seen in time, like a time-lapse.
"...So, the ancient sages built the Temple of Time to protect the Triforce from evil ones." The corrupted triforce's monster suddenly exploded and the sacred triangles soared before the temple, and Dylan was engulfed in light.
"That's right…The Temple of Time is the entrance through which you can enter the Sacred Realm from our world…But the entrance is sealed with a wall called the Stone of Time..." Once again, the light subsided and Dylan was in some kind of colosseum, with a bright white sky and silver clouds. The Triforce was in front of him on a pedestal.
"And in order to open the door, one needs the 3 spiritual stones of Forest, Fire, and Water." The world disappeared and he was now infront of Zelda, her hands clasped and looking at him.
"And another thing you need, is this." she reached behind her and pulled out a piece of paper. A drawing of a blue ocarina with the Triforce by the mouthpiece wrapped in silver was drawn on it with crayons. At the bottom it said, 'Zelda, age 4.'
"It's the Ocarina of Time," She said, not noticing Dylan's shocked look, "It's the treasure of the Royal Family that goes with the legend, it's to open the Door of Time."
Dylan shook his head to get it back on track. His mind was flooded with thought, mostly of excitement that he could get home. The power of the Triforce could probably let him do other things, he thought. Michael would be a memory of the past.
"Alright! Then where's the-" He was as the sound of yelling came suddenly. Zelda perked up and rushed to the window.
"Oh no! He's here! Look!" Dylan was dragged to the window, to see a throne room. He spotted two familiar faces, Adar and Navi next to what he assumed was the king by his big beard, robes and crown. Zelda was glaring daggers at someone, and when Dylan noticed, his heart plunged from his chest.
It was the man from his dreams, smiling a wicked smile. The guards on the sides of the hall bowed to him as he was flanked by his own guards, tall dark skinned women wrapped in cloth with spears. The man bowed to the king and smiled while doing so, the king apparently laughing heartily at something done earlier.
"The dark clouds symbolize him, you know. He is-"
"That's racist." He quickly quipped. Zelda slowly turned to him with a disgusted expression.
"What?"
"He's dark-skinned. He symbolizes dark clouds. C'mon, it's 20-wait what year is it here?" Zelda face palmed and turned back to the mirror.
"His name is Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudo. They come from the desert from the west. Since the war, he swore allegiance to my father, but I know he is not sincere. Look at his eyes! The evil that drips from them is sickening."
Suddenly, Ganondorf swiveled his head around, staring right at the window, his piercing red and orange eyes made Dylan grab Zelda and duck under the window still.
"What!? Did he see you?"
"No, I just decided the view would look better from-OF COURSE HE SAW ME!" He yelled. Zelda stood back up, dusting off her clothes. The desert man was gone.
"It's a good idea he doesn't suspect us…yet. Can you believe my father didn't believe me? He said it was just a silly dream, but I know he's evil, I just do! Ganondorf is after the Triforce and he wants to get to the Sacred Realm. He's going to stop at nothing to try and conquer Hyrule…no, the entire world! You are the only one who can stop Hyrule, will you-"
"Yes." Dylan quickly answered, desperate to go. Zelda quickly turned to him, still staring at the window and hugged him.
"ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou-"
"I'm not trying to save your world, I just want the Triforce so I can go home, then it's your problem." Either Zelda didn't hear that or chose not to because she unlatched herself from him and gave him the picture of the Ocarina of Time on it. He hadn't noticed the writing on the back, staging the person with this was authorized to go wherever they please.
"Take this letter, it'll help you get where you need to go. Remember, find the Spiritual stones and bring them back so we can open the Door of Time and the Triforce will not go to Ganondorf."
"It'll go to me." Dylan said sharply and brushed past her, stuffing the letter in the bag.
"My attendant will guide you out of the castle. Don't be afraid to talk to her!" Before Dylan could shout back, "What Attendent?", a blur passed in front of him and he walked into 14-inch thick concrete steel. He fell down, rubbing his head.
"Did anybody get that number on the freight train?" He said to himself, picking himself up. It was then where he knew who the caretaker was. A 6'5 woman with abs showing through her thin, yet durable, armor. On her chest was the same symbol adorned on the Kokiri Sword. Attached to her back was a small sword he identified as a small katana.
"I am Impa," she said, standing over him like a mountain. Dylan backed and cautiously put a hand on his sword, "I am responsible for protecting Princess Zelda."
"Well then, that sort of makes you a crappy bodyguard." Impa blinked in shock. "What?"
"I just snuck in here. And I talked to her for, like, at least 5 minutes. And what if I killed her. With this sword I have. Just sayin'" Impa breathed out through her nose.
"You are a courageous boy for heading out into this quest. Zelda's has the ability to experience visions in the form of dreams." Impa said, glossing over Dylan's disrespectful comment. He rolled his eyes.
"Zelda said my role in the dream was to teach the light a melody passed down by the royal family for generations. I have sang it to the princess ever since she was a baby." Impa tilted her to the sky as Dylan heard the pounding of feet and was greeted with the sight of Adar and Navi.
"Dylan!" They both exclaimed, leaping at him and bouncing around him. Navi fluttered around his head leaving faint trials of light.
"You should have seen it! We went into the castle, and met the king, and we tried to tell him about Ganondorf, but he didn't believe us, and then we saw him and he was intimidating. Then we saw you through the window and came to find you!" Adar exclaimed. He was out of breath by the time he finished and was breathing heavily. If he had arms, they would be on his knees.
"Dylan…are you still-" Navi said, but was cut off by Dylan.
"Nah. I met the princess and I know how to get home and save this whole problem." He said. Adar tilted his head. "So you're not, giving up?"
"Not now. I gotta get the other 2 stones and open the door of whatever, and then I'll wish on the Triforce to go home, making sure that Ganondorf doesn't get it!" Adar sighed and nodded his head excitedly. Navi squealed and nuzzled herself against his cheek. Dylan couldn't help but feel his cheeks go red as his friends' feelings about him not leaving. He was brought back when Impa cleared her throat.
"Dylan was it? Do you have an instrument?" Dylan nodded, reaching into the bag and grabbing the Fairy Ocarina and playing a few notes.
"Memorize this song…" Impa placed two fingers to her lips and whistled a soft, melodic tune that almost put him to sleep. He imagined an owl crowing the tune on a winter's night and felt his heart swell. He did his best to mimic the song on his ocarina and was satisfied when he got down to a science, playing it almost better than Impas herself. The same light show happened as orb as floated around the mouthpiece and faded into it.
"That song is known as Zelda's Lullaby. I assure you it will be of great help on your journey. Now then…" quick as a flash, Impa scooped up Adar and Dylan right as Navi plunged herself into his cap.
"I am aware of the false accusations you received and I will clear your name. But right now, I shall escort you outside the castle." With a mighty leap, Impa hopped along the walls and shrubs, disappearing from view and becoming a blur, leaving the princess alone with her thought.
"Dylan…It seems somehow….Familiar…"
