You haven't noticed it?

Narumi stared at her water with a tiny frown as Bianchi's words echoed in her ear. Those words kept nagging her, didn't even allow her to try and go upstairs to meet Reborn's former student. How can I inspect him with those words ringing in my ears? She blew out a strand of her blond hair, her frown deepened even more and she stole a glance at the photo of her uncle with his wife.

Did Reborn really look at her differently? Did he look at her like how her love-sick uncle looked at his wife? I can't even try and deny Bianchi's words because she looks so heartbroken. She stroke her chin and dropped her shoulders. If it had been anyone but Bianchi then it was easy to deny those words. But if the clingy ex-girlfriend, who had been in denial about her break-up, noticed it then there had to be some truth.

But does he really like me? And if he does like me then why doesn't he try and ask me out? Narumi poked her tongue against her cheek and traced the smooth edges of her glass. Did she want to go out with him? She didn't have any idea. Their kisses melted her but that was physical attraction. How did she know if she had an emotional attraction to him? Narumi groaned.

Why did I spend my first life pining after Kakashi-sensei? If she had done what Ino did then there was no way she would be this conflicted at the idea of her feelings about Reborn. She shook her head and curled her hands into a fist. There had to be a way for her to figure out if the thing between her and Reborn was actually deeper than just a physical attraction.

"Are you okay, Naru-chan?" Narumi blinked and turned her head to the direction of the hallway. Nana stood right in front of the opened door with a laundry basket filled with Tsuna and possibly even Dino's dirty clothes. Her sweet, naïve aunt had a tiny frown playing on her lips as if she was deeply concerned about her mental state.

If only her Aunt knew about the dilemma inside of her.

"I'm fine," she grumbled. Her Aunt frowned and flickered her eyes to the stairs before dropping the laundry basket on the ground. The brown-haired woman strolled towards her, taking a seat on the chair opposite of her. Brown eyes focused on her and the usual naïve gaze of her aunt was gone, replaced with eyes filled with understanding.

The brown-haired woman smiled. "Did something happen?"

Yeah, Reborn's ex-girlfriend basically implied that Reborn might have feelings for me and I don't know whether I like him or not. Of course, she couldn't tell her Aunt about that problem because then it would mean confessing that the whole thing between Reborn and her was a façade. She grimaced. Was it even a façade? Could they have been dating without even knowing it? She shook her head.

Why did that pink-haired teen have to make her so god-damn confused about her own relationship with Reborn?

"Nothing happened," Narumi finally answered. She rubbed the back of her neck and tilted her head up at the ceiling. I'm just really confused of my feelings towards Reborn. She closed her eyes and tightened her grip on the cup. It was ridiculous. The whole thing was absolutely ridiculous because she was a grown woman. A grown woman with two sets of memories inside of her.

She wasn't a teenager anymore, so why was it difficult for her to understand her own feelings about the matter?

"Something did happen or else you would have try and meet Reborn's friend," Her Aunt commented. Narumi blinked as the brown-eyed woman inspected the spilling glass of water before darting her eyes at her. "I thought you would be interested to meet your boyfriend handsome friend and ask him for any embarrassing stories about him. I did that when I met your father for the first time."

She blinked. "Does Iemitsu-ojisan have no friends beside his brother?"

"Your father would like to say that your uncle was a workaholic," Nana sighed and offered her a dreamy smile. "He never had time to make friends, so your father was surprised when he found out that your Uncle was dating me. Your mother was really welcoming to me too, even if she warned me against marrying your Uncle."

"She did?" Her Aunt nodded and Narumi blinked. "Why?"

The brown-haired woman offered her a cryptic smile and darted her eyes towards the window before looking back at her. Have I been wrong about Nana? But she doesn't seem to notice anything! And she didn't take care of Tsuna when he was growing up. She shook her head and then tilted her head. Well she couldn't exactly blame the woman for the latter part, not when the woman seemed to be battling her own demons.

"Your mother never tolerated people who lied," she answered as if that was the answer to the question. Narumi blinked and tilted her head before shaking her head. I must be overthinking things if I think Nana knows the truth about Iemitsu-ojisan's job. She exhaled, leaned against her seat and stared at her smiling Aunt. "Now what is bothering you so much that you don't want to meet Dino-kun? Did Reborn say he love you?"

She spluttered and shook her head at her smiling Aunt. I'm wrong about Nana knowing the truth because she can't be naïve to think after two months of dating that someone can say those words! They weren't in love. Hell even though there was a possibility Reborn liked her, she didn't know what her own feelings were when it came to him.

Inhaling, Narumi finally answered. "Not every couple is like you and Iemitsu-ojisan! It is way too soon for him to say those words."

Nana hummed and tilted her head to the side, brown eyes gleaming with a strange thoughtfulness that really did not suit her. Did she say too much? No, I haven't given anything a way to Nana! Yet, it rattled her how the woman seemed to be seeing through her dilemma. The brown-haired woman smiled even wider and pushed the chair back.

"Some people don't need to say the words…I love you," her Aunt commented. Narumi frowned as the brown-haired woman made her way to the laundry basket lying on the hallway. The brown-haired woman lifted up the basket, placed it between her hips and arm, before turning her head around to focus her gaze on her. "Reborn-kun shows his feelings through his actions…and the same goes for you."

Actions? She stroke her chin and furrowed her eyebrows together as her Aunt walked away with a bounce in her steps. What had she done to show her feelings? She agreed to do the whole fake dating thing but any friend would have done that. What have I done that convinced Nana to think that we were dating the whole time? There had been the kisses but that was natural.

It wasn't like she was the type to shy away from showering affections in public, even though public decency stated that they shouldn't be that affectionate in public. But I have been showering him with some kind of affection in private too, haven't I? She tugged her pony tail and looked out to the garden, where Lambo seemed to be content with throwing a ball up and down in the air.

"You seemed to be out of space."

Narumi blinked and turned her head around to find Reborn standing in front of the hallway with a frown playing on his lips. His black eyes focused on her own eyes, flashing with a subtle concern as he tilted his hat downwards. Her throat dried up as if she hadn't drank any water in the last couple of days while her stomach danced with a strange fluttery emotion.

This doesn't feel like a crush. She tilted her head, pulled her bottom lip back and forth as black eyes continued to stare at her. When her feelings for Kakashi-sensei developed, she didn't notice the fact he could never be emotionally available for her and maybe her crush developed because he treated her nicely from the very beginning. With Reborn, she saw all those imperfections in him.

For all her complaints about his flirty nature and his womanizing ways, she accepted the fact that it was his nature. But is that a different feeling? I mean I don't get jealous if I see him flirt with another woman but I don't think I have ever seen him flirt with anyone but me. She scrunched her eyebrows together and shook her head.

Bianchi was really making her think overtime when it came to her own feelings.

"I've got a lot of things on my mind," Narumi admitted. Reborn arched an eyebrow and glided his way towards her. She gulped down a lump as those black, intense eyes gazed at her. Why did she feel like a target whenever he looked at her? Was this because of her feelings? Wait, was she even certain she had feelings for him?

The black-haired man offered her a smirk and lowered his head till his breath brushed against her lips. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"I would rather forget about it," Narumi said, gulping down a lump. Her whole body shuddered as those black eyes stared at her like he wanted to gobble her down. She allowed her eyes to trace the sharp features of Reborn as her heart continued to jump around with unfamiliar emotions. I don't know if I'm ready to talk about it until I sort myself out. Did she really have feelings for this man right in front of her?

She paused and stared at those black eyes that seemed amused and almost rather soft. With almost being the key word. Narumi sucked in a breath as Reborn removed his fedora hat, dropping it on her hair. His eyes took her in and a tiny smirk played on his lips, which just highlighted the fact that the man was a hunter.

"I can think of a fun way to make you forget about it," Reborn suggested, his hand brushed her jaw and he tilted her head up until her eyes solely focused on him.

Narumi gazed at him. That innuendo wasn't lost at her at all and by now, she would have screamed at him for making such a suggestive comment but could she fluster him too? If Bianchi is right then maybe I can fluster him as well! Her lips twitched and Reborn's eyes darkened even more. It would be payback and would also act as a way to confirm Bianchi's unspoken words.

She folded her legs together. "Oh? And what do you mean by fun?"

Reborn blinked and lowered his head even more; his black eyes darkened even more with curiosity and desire. Narumi offered him a sly, innocent smile and tilted her head to the side as her hand crept up his shoulder. Her hand vibrated but it wasn't from her curiosity to find answers. Oh no, the shudder came from Reborn.

That was an interesting reaction.

"It involves making you scream," He purred. Narumi held back the urge to smack her head against the table and the desire to flush red at the suggestion. This won't prove Bianchi's idea that Reborn sees me differently. No, even if she lacked the experience when it came to men, this was something she could do. This had to be done in order for her to have a better clue of the man's feelings.

She curled her lips into a sly smile and bit back a laugh when Reborn narrowed his eyes at her. Glancing at the window facing the garden, Narumi allowed her smile to widen just a little bit when she saw no sight of Lambo. While I've no shame, I'm not going to scar my adopted son with my actions. It had to be done in her opinion; it was a good, unconventional way to see the truth.

Her hand yanked his orange-tie and she pulled him closer to her. "Right here? Because I would really love to feel your lips on me."

His lips parted and the male looked at her like she was asking for trouble, but his cheeks did not redden. His eyes darkened even more but the male did nothing, instead he eyed her like he was trying to figure out what might be her game. Still not the reaction that I want but maybe if I'm spontaneous then I would get the reaction from him. She kept the sly smile on her lips.

There was one sure way of getting him to react in the way that she wanted because he had been stumped when she kissed him after her meeting with Shikamaru.

"Amore, you can't play with fire," Reborn breathed as his black eyes looked at her. "This isn't something you should—"

She pulled him in for the kiss, drowning away whatever the hitman had to say to her. Giddiness filled her as Reborn gazed at her with wide eyes and flushed cheeks as if he didn't expect for one moment that she would do this. Did it prove anything? No, it didn't prove anything except she could shock him. That was probably enough for now.

Just when she was about to pull away from him, Reborn began to slot their mouths together. There was a determination behind those lips as if he wanted to warn her about something. She didn't care what he had to warn her. She pulled him even closer, her hand wandered across his hard back as a sense of desire coursed through her.

Heat coursed through her whole body, almost threatening to explode as Reborn tugged on her bottom lip. She opened her mouth and groaned when bitterness flooded her taste buds. Wait, wasn't she supposed to make him fluster? This wasn't how things were supposed to be. There was absolutely no way in hell she would allow him to overpower her.

But he wasn't trying to make her yield, if anything it felt like he wanted to map her out like she was something he wanted to explore. This was different. This was…real and it did not feel like she was some kind of trophy. A groan escaped her lips and Narumi finally pulled away from the addicting drug that was Reborn's mouth.

She finally looked at Reborn and her eyes widened just a little bit at the subtle blush on the man's cheeks. It was a faint pink and maybe it could have been attributed for the lack of air, but…her gut told her that it was a different story. This affected him and if I can guess from Bianchi's words then he probably hadn't blush in a really long time. She trembled and offered him an innocent smile.

Well I definitely know where he stands with me, but now I've to think about whether or not if I want him more than a friend.

Reborn cleared his throat, took the hat away from her head and placed it on his head before looking away from her. "Amore, why did you do that?"

His voice remained strong but there was a little falter in his tone that made her almost smile. I wanted to know if I make you feel things even if this was the most unorthodox way of doing it. She could have asked him but Reborn did not like being honest with his own feelings. He ran away whenever things involved an emotional connection.

If she told him the truth before she figured out what she wanted, then there was no doubt he would make excuses and just do something to prove her thoughts were wrong.

"I wanted to check something Bianchi told me."

He narrowed his eyes. "My ex told you to play with fire? To arouse me in that way?"

She chuckled and shook her head before pushing her chair back.

"Oh, Bianchi didn't tell me to do that, Caro," Narumi declared with a small smirk playing on her lips. The man gazed at her with suspicious eyes and the whiskered woman allowed her eyes to drink in the crinkled shirt and jacket. "I've desires too and since you were making the offer…I decided to take up the offer."

Reborn eyed her. "What did my ex-girlfriend told you to make you act on those desires?"

"Why should I tell you, Reborn?" She asked with a sly smirk, turning her back away from him. "It will be so much more fun if you try and guess, Caro."

By the time Reborn figured out what Bianchi had told her, was when she had a better understanding of what she wanted from the mischievous, devilish man.

For now though, she was going to go for a jog.

What did Bianchi tell that Minx?

The loud yells of the television screen was muffled against Reborn's ears as he wiped his gun. It had been over an hour since Narumi decided to forgo her usual behavior and kissed him in the dining room. His lips twitched into a frown as his black eyes focused on Dino and Tsuna. Both males seemed focus on playing the video game with Lambo watching them with a pout playing on his lips.

"Did something happen between you and Narumi-neechan?" Tsuna asked, his brown eyes still focused on the television screen. His tone was light, almost hesitant as if he didn't know whether he wanted to know the answer or not. If he was his naïve student, he would rather not know what his relative would be up to with her boyfriend.

He grunted and tilted his hat down when Dino paused the game. The male turned his head away from them; his brown eyes widened at the news. Is it that surprising I would go after his relative? He paused. Normally, he would never go after the relatives of his students. It would always get messy but the thing he had with Narumi wasn't real.

"Narumi-neechan?" Dino finally coughed out. He rubbed the back of his neck and darted his eyes to the door, probably concerned for Gokudera. The black-haired male sighed. Gokudera doesn't even care I broke his sister's heart. Only the blond-haired man seemed to care about his actions, well him and Narumi. "Have you seriously moved onto your fifth lover already?"

The disbelief in Dino's tone made his blood boiled, almost tempted him to throttle him but he squashed it down. Instead, he removed the cloth from the gun and pointed it at the blond-haired male. His former student gulped, almost shivering and quivering while Tsuna scooted further away from the blond-haired man.

The 14-year-old boy cleared his throat and forced a smile onto his lips. "So my cousin is your fifth girlfriend? How the hell did you get my cousin to like you?"

"I don't think it is appropriate for me to tell you how your cousin came to like me," he retorted. Tsuna turned a sickly shade of green while Dino slacked his jaw at him and threw a concern look to Lambo. The young boy tilted his head as if confused while his green eyes inspected him like he was trying to figure him out.

It never escaped his notice how Lambo seemed to keep analyzing his interactions with Narumi as if trying to figure out his intentions towards his foster mother.

"Mama deserves better." Lambo grumbled with a scowl. Reborn's eyebrows twitched and he curled his lips into a slight scowl before looking away from the scowling five-year-old boy. Why did it even bother him? There was nothing serious about his relationship with Narumi. They were good friends, who shared a couple of kisses.

A couple of intense kisses.

"Your mother is a grown-woman," Reborn barked. The black-haired man turned his head away when Dino looked at him with slightly wide eyes as if he didn't expect that tone from him. If you have seen how the child acts around me then you would react the same way. He rubbed the back of his neck. "And as a grown-woman, she can decide who she wants."

Lambo puffed his cheeks, folding his arms against his chest and turned his head away from them. It was natural for a little boys to be concerned for their mothers but that boy took things too far. You would think he thinks I want to take his mother away from him. He had no such plans, not now and definitely not in the future.

Not that he had any plans of actually dating Narumi in the future.

"Are you sure you should be dating Tsuna's cousin?" Dino asked, folding his arms against his chest. His brown eyes analyzed him for the longest time before flickering his eyes back at him. "I feel like the fact that you are dating his cousin is probably the most inappropriate thing that you have done, the second inappropriate thing was dating Bianchi."

Reborn grunted while Tsuna furrowed his eyebrows together. Why did everyone have to remind him of how bad of an idea it was for him to date Bianchi? I should have thought things through when it came to her. He grimaced. At the time, he presumed he had everything calculated but there were factors that he had never considered.

"Narumi is different from Bianchi," Reborn exhaled and leaned back in his seat. "She is older than Bianchi and she has no problem biting your head off if she doesn't like it."

Dino blinked and blinked before flickering his eyes to Tsuna, who snorted at those words. If it wasn't for the fact your cousin throw a mean punch at me then I would have made your training even worse. There was also the fact Narumi would never talk to him again, and surprisingly enough that was the last thing he wanted from her.

The blond-haired male raised a single eyebrow at him. "So you aren't getting bored with her?"

Bored? He tilted his hat down and ignored the furrowed eyebrows of Tsuna and Lambo, choosing instead to gaze out at the window. Bored wasn't a word he would associate with Narumi. Unpredictable. That was the best word he would associate that blond-haired teacher. The moment he thought he had her pinned down, she would do something to reevaluate his thoughts on her.

"Because I would really love to feel your lips on me."

Those words alongside those darken blue eyes weren't things he expected from her. He tugged on his collar as blood rushed up to his neck. I have been expecting her to blush or even yell at me for that comment; I definitely did not expect her to say that and be serious. He rubbed his jaw and cracked his knuckles just a little bit.

"Once you meet Narumi then you will know that getting bored with her is impossible," Reborn stated. Tsuna wrinkled his nose while Lambo narrowed his eyes at him as if he found his words to be completely suspicious. At least I know his future self has no problem with me, even if he avoids Narumi with a vengeance. Then again, it was probably for the best if you asked him.

Narumi would definitely have a lot of questions if she saw her little boy had aged ten years.

"You are really serious about her?" Dino commented. The bewilderment in his tone made Reborn thinned his lips while Tsuna looked at him with curious eyes. What could he say to the young man? That Narumi and him weren't actually together. I wish Tsuna and Lambo weren't here and I could correct everything. He exhaled and relaxed against the chair.

He tilted his hat upwards and nodded. "Of course, I'm serious about her."

Disbelief colored the male's eyes and Reborn closed his eyes. It might be a fake relationship but it is probably the one that I've very little intentions of ending. He stole a look at Lambo and Tsuna with his lips tugged downwards. It was a good thing their relationship was fake or else he would have been in big trouble from the moment Narumi kissed him the first time.

This was one relationship that he could never afford to make real.

Well someone seems to be moving in.

Narumi wiped the sweat off of her forehead and stared at the moving vans parked right across her house. Maybe this is related to the new girl coming into my class. She glanced back at her home, fixing her eyes on the window that was Tsuna's room. A small smile graced her lips when Reborn tilted his hat down at her before turning his back to the window.

She shook her head and glanced at the moving van. A young, black-haired woman jumped out of the moving van alongside a slender purple-haired girl. That girl looks slightly malnourished but she does look like the girl on my file…only slightly more healthier. Narumi shifted her weight to her left foot and felt her lips twitched into a sheepish smile when the young woman turned her whole body towards her.

Light yellow eyes greeted her, almost widened at the sight of her as if she was a ghost from her past. Narumi furrowed her eyebrows together and tilted her head to the side. Did she know this woman? I don't think I ever met this woman before. She kept contact with all of her high-school friends and college friends.

"Excuse me, are you one of my neighbors?" The woman asked with a light smile. She offered her a hand and light reflected from the woman's bracelet. That looks really expensive. Narumi shook her hand and looked at the woman's outfit. Everything about the woman screamed expensive because every piece of clothing on this woman was branded.

She tilted her head to the side and cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Sawada Narumi."

"Narumi?" The woman repeated. Narumi nodded and the black-haired woman looked at her like she didn't believe that could be her name. Maybe it is because I look like a foreigner? Nothing about her appearance screamed Japanese, so maybe that was the reason for the woman being surprised about her actual name. "My name is Kondo Hinata."

Hinata? That is a common name. She shook her head and stared at Hinata. There had been so many Hinatas in her life from male and female classmates having that name to her own students having that name. But there was only one person with that name who truly affected her and that person had been her childhood friend in her life.

The only person who could read her.

"You are moving in with your sister?" Narumi asked, darting her eyes to the house right in front of her. The purple-haired girl peeked out of the door, almost curling herself into a smaller figure as if she wanted to hide from her. She curled her lips into a frown and darted her eyes to Hinata, who glanced over her shoulder to look at the younger girl.

The black-haired woman bobbed her head. "Nagi-chan is my step-sister but due to certain circumstances, my brother and I have decided to remove her from her mother and our father's care."

The dark look on the black-haired woman's expression made Narumi grimace. There might not be any words spoken but she knew what Hinata was trying to imply about her step-mother and her father. If she is my student then I need to schedule an appointment with the counsellor. She rubbed the back of her neck and darted her eyes to Nagi, who hid behind the door.

The young girl squeaked before scurrying further into the room.

"Nagi-chan is still rather shy around strangers," Hinata explained with an apologetic tone.

Narumi waved off the apology and offered the woman a warm smile before looking up at the golden painted skies. I've got my work cut out for me if it turns out that Nagi is one of my students. She hummed and turned her head back to Hinata, who still looked at her with unreadable eyes. She rubbed the back of her neck and glanced back at her home.

"Well I would love to continue chatting but I have to go back home."

Hinata nodded and offered her a nod goodbye.

Narumi gazed at the woman before dashing away from her with her eyebrows furrowed together. The wind smacked her cheeks as she pushed open the gates of her house. I don't know whether I have seen her before because why did she give me that look? Narumi paused. Shikamaru had given her a similar look when he first saw her eyes widened and her heart stopped as a realization dawned upon her.

Shikamaru didn't look anything like his first life, which meant that Hinata probably did not share the same appearance as her first body. It might be the case that Hinata didn't even have the same first name as the Hinata in her first life. But I might be overthinking things when it comes to this. She shook her head and stared at the door of her house.

Maybe it would be a good idea for her to discuss this with Shikamaru because she couldn't just ask the woman out of the blue if she was a reincarnated like her or not.

She did not want to be seen as the crazy woman by her neighbors.
