Harmony Lilith Potter lays on her so-called mattress, staring up at the ceiling. Her right forearm has a bruise from the tight grip her uncle Vernon had on it before he twisted it, causing it to break. Breaths came out in pants as she tried not to breathe too deeply. She was trying not to strain her bruised ribs or reopen the wounds on her side and her thighs from yesterday's beating.

But her injuries were not her reason for her distracted manner. On the old broken desk on the corner closest to the bed lay an opened letter. She was not supposed to receive this letter. The letter was lying on her desk when her relatives had finally released her for the night. Hedwig did not bring it to her; she had no idea where it came from. What she found inside was the exact thing she had been looking for all last year.

She continues to look up at the ceiling as she thinks of what to do. On the one hand, she has no idea who had left the letter. On the other, it shows that things were genuinely being hidden from her. But how does she know if it was real? There are so many doubts swarming around her head, but the hop to get get out of the hell. She didn't want to get her hopes up in case it wasn't real, though.

Slowly she sits up, trying not to agitate her injuries. Once she sits up, she opens the bottom drawer of the desk. There was only one item lying inside a mirror. It is a unique mirror given to her by her godfather. Pulling it out, she holds it to her face and says the name of someone she can trust, someone who knew her suspicions, who would not run off to tell the old man, and who would do everything in their power to help.

"Sirius Black" Immediately, a man in his late thirties with long black curly hair appeared in the small hand mirror.

"What is going on, pup? Are you in trouble?" Her godfather asks with worry straining his voice.

"Calm down, Padfoot. I'm always in trouble." She gives a slight smile, and the man returns it knowing how true it was. "Now I need to talk to you and Remus" she pauses for a moment thinking of the right word worried that there might be someone listening, there always were. "Discreetly," she whispers.

"When?"

"Now," she lets out a sigh of relief at his understanding visible in his face.

"Got it pup. Love you," The man on the other side of the mirror says with a stunning smile.

"Love you too" A small smile appears on her face at the thought there was even one person that cared about her. She watches as the background changes as her godfather go to try and find Remus. "So how have you been since I saw you?"

"It has only been a little over a week, pup." He chuckles, thinking back to him by her side in his animagus form as she waits for her relatives to pick her up. "But I'm going batshit crazy. I can't be stuck in this damn house anymore. I'm thinking about burning it down." He says in a joking tone while his eyes show a crazed look. Though he was serious, he doesn't think he can take one more threat from Dumbledore about being wanted.

"Sirus, who is that, you are talking to?" She hears her former professor call from the background.

"Why, it's our pup."

"Cub, is everything okay?" Remus asked in a worried tone as he snatched the mirror from the black-haired man.

"I'm fine," she says with a smile.

"Yes, yes, she just wants to talk to us," Sirius says. First sign.

"Oh, you miss us that much cub? Well, we can always make time to talk to you." Replies the werewolf. Remus understands.

"Yes, I just feel so lonely here, I had to see someone." They continue talking for a few minutes about nothing significant. Until Harmony rubs her eyes like she is tired. "Guys, I'm getting sleepy." She tells them—second sign.

"Yes, it is getting late." Remus says, "I think it is time we say goodnight." Then he places his hand on the mirror. "Goodnight cub," He says as Sirius places his hand over Remus'.

"Goodnight guys," She says back as she places her hand on her mirror as well. Third sign.

Instead of the three ending their conversation, they each push their magick into the mirror. Each focuses on the others, and they want to protect them from prying eyes. Harmony had told her godfathers that she felt someone was watching her last summer, and how everything she said in private seemed to get out. When she told them they taught her how to use a wandless spell to protect from eavesdroppers, no one could spy on them through the mirror or even see them physically with this spell. After a moment, they stop. "Are we good?" The young girl asks.

"Yes, you put in enough magick for the three of us," Sirius says, still amazed by her sheer amount of magick.

"It still amazes me how much more powerful you have without your wand. We are going to have to take some time to teach you so wandless magick, even if we have to do it through the mirror." Remus was not kidding; her wandless magick was terrific, and she is supposed to turn seventeen this summer. She is a few months away from her maturity. But it was strange how limited she was by her wand. It was supposed to help the user to focus, not limit them. Maybe he should look at that wand.

"Now, what is the matter pup, that you made us do this? How are those muggles treating you?" Sirius asks his worry and anger now showing on his face. They try to limit the number of times that they use this not to make it suspicious.

She had only been here a week and a half since school had ended. She had just talked to them a week ago when Sirius noticed a hand-shaped bruise on her wrist when she moved her hair out of her face. They interrogated her until she admitted that her uncle sometimes gets 'rough with her' and she does not eat much. They were so pissed even though they did not know the true extent. Then the whole situation was made worse when the old man himself showed up at the house the next day and had a discussion with her about lying. She then had gotten beaten not only by Vernon but got open wounds on her side. All because she caused a 'freak' to come into their house. Vernon would have beaten her daily since then, but Dudly had stepped in a few times pretending to hit her in her room.

Now Harmony was embarrassed from the little bit that her godfathers knew about how she was treated. Angry that Dumbledore could come into this house just to act as a wise grandfather and say she was lying. Hurt because she got beaten again by her uncle, who has already made it very clear she is to leave come her birthday. Let's not even talk about the way her aunt pulled the girl down a few stairs and into the wall, so she was out of the woman's sight. Confused by this blasted letter. Hope that maybe she has found an out from the hell that is her life. And to sum up, her tidal wave of emotion scared that she will not last to see her freedom.

Harmony leaned forward slowly and grabbed the letter from her desk. Once she is straight again, and the pain subsided enough to be able to talk, she holds up the message. It does not go unnoticed by the two men. "When I came into my room earlier, I found this on my desk." they look at her confused "It is a letter from Gringotts. It says that they have been trying to get in touch with me about my accounts." They pause for a moment.

"That does seem curious, but I don't understand where you are coming from," Sirius asks.

"Well, first, I have not received any other letters. Second I thought that I only had my vault for school."

"Wait, you thought that was all you had?" Remus asks entirely bewildered by that.

"Yes, so I'm curious about that. But the best part is where it says my magical guardian should have been informing me about this and that if I do not appear tomorrow, all changes shall be final." They still look at her in bewilderment. "I mean, who is my magical guardian, I didn't even know I was supposed to have one. Also, I could not make any transactions if I didn't know I had an account." She waves the letter back and forth in front of her face. "This is proof that there is something wrong going on, and I can't even get there."

Sirius snaps out of shock first. She did tell them that she did not trust Dumbledore, and him putting the three on a complete information lockdown is not helping the old man's case. "We have to get you there, but how without anyone knowing is a good question."

There is a low growl from Remus that made the other two turn to the man. "We are going to fix this." His face darkens for a moment. How dare they do this to my cub. I will fix this if it is the last thing I do. He thinks to himself. "Do you have any of the twins' treats?"

Harmony thinks for a moment. "Yeah, I have the one that makes you throw up."

"Great, take that right before you are to be woken up in the morning. Leave the rest up to us." After a moment, he has another thought. "And make sure to have your cloak ready."

Sirius gives her a kind smile. "We will figure this out pup, don't worry. Remember, we love you. Goodnight."

"I love you too." With that, they told Harry to go to bed while they handled their end.

Tomorrow is going to be fun. Is the green-eyed girl's last thought as she has hope for the first time in years.
