"Yeah, it was pretty easy to get into the school," said Ruby as she stood on top of the dorms while speaking on her phone at night. The only thing giving her light was the full moon.

"Tch, don't worry, they bought the lame excuse of where I've been like the idiots they are so no one is even suspicious of me," said Ruby with an eye roll while leaning against a wall.

"Will you relax, Cinder, I'll make sure to find where they have the Maiden, and then you can come in and finish her off," said Ruby. She then hung up while putting her phone in her pocket.

"Make sure to stick to the shadows, I don't want anyone seeing you," said Ruby to two Beowolfs that came out of nowhere while staring out over the campus and not even paying attention to the beasts. The two Grimms then snarled in response before taking their leave.

"You won't use me as a weapon like you did my mother, Ozpin, and I'll make you pay for letting her die," said Ruby before leaving. Meanwhile, Cinder, Mercury, Emerald, and Roman were at a warehouse.

"Are you sure we should leave this up to her?" asked Roman who was sitting at a table while playing solitaire.

"Salem is the one that gave her this mission, so you just sit there and keep your mouth shut," said Cinder.

"Still though, little red is not the brightest of us, and she is still weak even with the powers that Salem gave her," said Roman.

"Keep talking about Ruby like that and I'll blow your head off," said Emerald as she pointed her Thief's Respite at him.

"Mad that I made fun of your girlfriend?" asked Roman.

"She's not my girlfriend," said Emerald as her face went bright red.

"That's enough from both of you," said Cinder as she looked at Roman and Emerald.

"Why don't you just get back to work on getting those beasts on our side," said Cinder as her eyes glowed while looking at Roman.

"Fine," said Roman as he walked away while swinging his cane.

"And Emerald, we all know about you and Ruby," said Cinder, which made the girl go even redder.
