After walking for a few minutes walking, Nolan opens a door to a lab. I instantly smile. It's not as detailed as Tony's but it's pretty nice. There are computers set up everywhere and plenty of different machines to play with.

Nolan gestures towards the printer, "You can plug your phone in there and start printing the design."

"Cool," I say as I start scrolling threw the few designs I had on it.

"Hey, is it ok if I print something besides the castle?"

"Like what?"

I smile, "I've been working on a baby yoda model. Printing it would help me see the errors."

Nolan grins, "Dude, I love Star Wars. Even I have to admit Baby Yoda is adorable."

"Really, cause I like normal Yoda better. Something about the wisdom he spews."

Nolan looked at me like I'm crazy, and I smirk, "I'm joking dude. Why do you think I'm printing the model?"

I set up the printer and it began to print. I glance at the clock, "It's going to take a while to print. Is there anything else to around here?"

Nolan shrugs, "I don't know."

"What do you like to do?"

"Video games. Mostly online but you can't access any servers here. The school works hard to keep kids out so they pay attention in class."

"Do you know how to get around them? You seem to know a lot about computers."

"Yeah, I do. I've never tried to hack the school," he says nervously.

"Why not?"

"Um...because it breaks so many rules. You're ok with it?"

I shrug, "As long as we don't get caught."

"Dude, you're a terrible influence," he says as he walks over to a computer.

"I prefer life coach," I say with a smirk as Nolan begins tapping stuff into the computer. After a about ten minutes he'd gotten in.

I smile, "See? Now we get to play."

"Aren't you suppose to be meeting your friend?"

"Aren't you suppose to be meeting your parents?"

"Fair point," he mumbles, "You any good at Halo?"

About thirty minutes later, we were deep into a game of Halo.

"Dude, watch out for the guy oon your left!" I exclaim as Nolan's dude jumps into a vehicle. I can see the flag when suddenly the computer blacks out. We both jump.

"Ahem," we hear a voice from behind and I whisper to Nolan, "Stay calm."

We turn around and I see an old guy who looked like he's probably the teacher of the classroom.

"Um...hi," I say lamely.

The old guy eyes us up and down before his eyes land on Nolan, "You're Nolan Yang. Your parents are all over campus talking about you and how they are of their future freshmen. Plus, I had your sister last year. She didn't seem to be a trouble maker, though. I'm sure they'll be interested to hear about your activities today."

Nolan gulps and the guy turns to me, "You, however, I do not know. Do you even go to this school?"

"Um...no? My um… friend said he would show me around while my parents figured out if they wanted to send me here. He got called off on some business and I ran into Nolan, here. I was excited when I heard about your three dimensional printer and he offered to show me it. The door was open when we got here and I had a model of baby yoda that I made that I wanted to see printed. I got bored so I messed with some of the schools computers to play video games while I waited. I dragged Nolan down with me."

The guy eyed me, "Interesting. You just met him and you're willing to take all of the blame."

I glance at Nolan, who was practically shaking, "It was my fault. I'm sorry, sir. We'll uh...put the computers back and you can have the model. My friend is probably looking for me and I'm sure Nolan's parents are anxious to find him."

"Who's your friend?"

I swallow, "Uh...Peter Parker."

The guys eyebrow raises, "Parker, huh? He's a good student and a great addition to my robotics team. You know, I think I saw him on my way here? Nolan, you go find your parents after you put the computer system back and if you join my robotics team, I'll let this incident slide. Un-named child, let's go find Parker."

I gulp as Nolan nods, "Yes, sir, Mr. Jonas. Thank you sir," and he scrambles for the computer. It takes him a few seconds to fix the computers and he stands up looking at us, "It's done."

Mr. Jonas nods, "Good. Catch you around Nolan."

"Um...you too sir," Nolan says as he nods and he looks at me, "Nice meeting you. Hope you come here for school," as he scampers out of the room.

As Nolan exits, Mr. Jonas turns to me, "So, friend of Parker, what's your name?"

"AJ Diaz, sir."

"I don't do abbreviations. You have another preferred name?"

"Isn't MJ Jones one of your students?"

"I call her Michelle because it's her given name and she likes it better than Jones. Would you prefer I call you Diaz? I tend to ask my students what they prefer."

I smirk, "I'm not a student here."

He raises an eyebrow, "Not yet but from what I've seen, you probably won't stick around at any other school. You seem to be the creative type. Plus, Parker's a good influence."

"So I've heard," I mumble.

"So, is Diaz the name we're sticking with? If so, at least tell me what the letters stand for."

"Antonio Jarvis," I say.

"Tony, it is. Come on, let's go find your friend," he says deciding on what to call me.

I roll my eyes as he begins leading me down the hallway, "If you're going to insist on not calling me AJ, you can call me Jarvis."

He smirked, "Was that so hard?"

I groan as he began showing me around the school as we walked. After about fifteen minutes of him showing me around we end up in a Chemistry classroom. Once inside, I see Peter animatedly talking to a teacher while Ned and MJ intensely listen.

Mr. Jonas clears his throat and they all turn towards us with Peter looking slightly guilty, "Missing something Parker?"

Peter smiled at him guilty, "Um...yeah. I um...got distracted talking about this new chemical compound."

"Well your friend Jarvis here got just as distracted by my lab."

"It is very distracting Mr. Jonas," Ned buts in, being on the robotics team with Peter and MJ.

"Really Ned? Anyways, I was just telling him how nice the school would be for him. I figured you might want him back."

Peter nods, "Yeah...uh….his dad would be mad if I left him. He...uh...didn't do anything, did he?"

Jonas glanced at me, "Oh nothing much. Just broke into my lab, printed an impressive model of baby yoda, and had a new friend hack the computer system to play Halo."

I wince at the expression on Peter's face, "Um...technically the lab was open when we got there."

Peter looked mortified, "Sir, I am so sorry about AJ! I was suppose to meet up with him-"

Jonas raises his hand to cut Peter off, "It's fine Parker. He thoroughly surprised me. Hope you can convince his dad to send him here. Nice to meet you Jarvis."

"Uh...nice to meet you too, sir," I say as I shake his hand. \

As he leaves Peter turns to the teacher he was talking too, "Thanks for the notes, but we should get going."

The teacher nods as Peter walks over to me, grabbing my arm, "Ow man," I mumble.

"I left you alone for like fifteen minutes!" he exclaims as he drags me down the hallway.

"Ok, but it's not like you were actively looking for me and I saw most of the school with Jonas and Nolan."

"Who's Nolan?" MJ asks from behind us.

I shrug, "A kid I met. He was nice. Plus, I didn't want to disturb your nerdy day."

Peter sighs, "Can you go anywhere without getting into trouble?"

I legitimately try to think of something, "No? I don't know. Look, I'm sorry if I caused you trouble or worry. Are you uh...going to tell Tony?"

He stops and looks down at me, "No. I've done worse behind his back, just don't do stuff like that anymore."

I nod, "Ok. Can you let go of my arm, now?"

He nods sheepishly, "Sorry."

Ned looks at me, "So now that Peter's done being over protective, did you like the campus?"

I nod, "Yeah, it seemed nice."

Peter looked at me with a grin, "So, you want to go here?"

I look down, "Maybe..."

Ned smiles, "Alright! Another member for the decathlon team!"

I looked at MJ, "What's the decathlon team?"

She smiles, "You're in for a treat mini-Stark."

I'm getting a feeling that it might not be a treat.

By the time Peter and Ned finished filling my head about the decatholn team, I thought my head was going to explode. It didn't help that MJ was smirking the entire time.

"So, are there any other clubs in this school?" I ask, hoping they would switch subjects.

"Oh yeah! There's-" Ned's sentence get's cut off when there's a loud boom ahead of us. I look up and one of the skyscrapers is on fire near on of their top floors. Some of the debris had landed on the ground and people were loosing their minds.

Peter glanced at us, "I'll be back. AJ, stay with them," as he ran towards an alley. A few moments later, Spider man was slinging into action.

"Wow," I mumble as I watch Peter go grab a bunch of people.

Ned looks at me, "You've never seen him in action?"

"Um...not really. It's impressive."

They both nod and we watch him get people to safety and help with the clean up. Suddenly Ned's phone pings.

He looks down, "Peter says it looks like he might be here awhile. He wants to know if you're ok to get back to the tower on your own?"

I nod, "Yep. I know how to take the train."

Ned quickly texts Peter back and we Spider man give us a nod as he slings to help stabilize the building.

I look over at them, "Well guys, it was nice meeting you."

MJ smiles, "You too, AJ. Hope to see you at school."

"Yeah, don't forget what I said about the decathlon team!" Ned say enthusiastically.

"I don't think I could if I tried," I say as I walk towards the subway with a wave.

Honestly, I was glad for the alone time. I hadn't been truly alone in months, and I kind of missed it. Not that I don't like my new found family. It's just...a lot to take in. I have new parents, new siblings, and a new lifestyle to get used to. Part of me misses being of a dirty thief with no one to care about but myself.

I enter the subway and glance at the train that would take me to the tower. I had a little bit of time before anyone would notice I'm gone. I turn around, shut off my phone, and began walking out of the platform and headed towards East Harlem to grab one of my favorite sandwiches and practice one of my favorite activities.

As I walked towards my shop I glanced around the crowd of people. I smile as a man walked towards me with his head looking straight down at his phone. I casually start walking him and I bump into.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry sir!" I say as I reach to help him up and pick up his phone.

The guys shook his head, "Watch where you're going kid!"

"I know, I know, I know. It was so my fault."

He shook his head and kept walking. I turn my head and open his wallet, "Thank you for lunch Mr. Wallace."

I reach inside and pull out a hundred dollar bill and a handful of twenties. Part of me wanted to take all the money, but apparently living with the Starks have changed some of my morals. I took the two twenties and close the wallet.

I keep walking towards the shop and smile when I see it. I step into the shop and smile when I see there's no line. I walk up to the counter, "Lou, you here?"

I hear a grunt and a few clangs before an old man appears and gives me a grunt, "Usual?"

I nod, "Yep! How've you been Lou?"

He starts making my sandwich, "Same old. Same old. You?"

"Same old. Same old."

He raises an eye at that, "Really? Rumor has it you found your dad, Tony Stark."

I wince at that, "How'd you hear about that?"

"Other than the trial being in the news?"

"They covered my face and everyone signed an NDA because I'm a minor."

"You and I both know that doesn't stop rumors."

"Yeah," I sigh as we drift into silence.

He glances up, "So, how are you handling it?"

"Fine. Why do you ask?"

"Besides the fact that you've suddenly found out one of the riches people in the world is your dad? I know that you stole that wallet hidden in your pocket."

I look down guiltily, "I was going to give it to a police officer on the way back to Manhattan."

"With or without the money?"

I sigh, "With most of the money. I just wanted something to feel normal, you know? I just got back from looking at this ultra rich school where they want me to go. I haven't gone to school, like gone gone, in years! I'll have to actual listen to teachers and be inside. I don't know how to do that anymore!"

He gives me a look, "This is all over going to school?"

I look at him confused, "Yeah. What do you think it's about?"

He wraps my sandwich up and puts it on the counter, "I think it's about the fact, that for the first time almost six years, you have a complete family. Mom, dad, and siblings, the full shabang. Last time you had that, your mom died tradgically dies and your sister dies a few years later. Any normal person would have trouble adjusting to that. And before you say you're fine, you always come here when you're not. It's normally your first stop before you run from a foster home. But kid, these people aren't fosters. They're not going to get rid of you of you let them in or trust them."

I look down at my sandwich, "You don't know that."

He sighs, "You're right. I don't know Tony Stark. But from what I can see, he always tries to save people, even if there is a personal cost to himself. I don't think he'll give up on you like the others. You need to let him try."

I pick up my sandwich and make eye contact with him, "I wasn't going to run. I just…"

He holds up his hand to stop me, "I know. Sandwich is on the house. Go return the wallet and head home before the Starks flip."

I give Lou a smile, "Thank Lou. You always give great advice."

He grunts as he turns to go back into the kitchen, "Yeah well maybe you'll listen to it this time."

I shake my head and step out of the shop. I take a bite of my sandwich and turn to the right and I see the guy I pick pocketed. I almost choke.

He spots me, "Hey kid! Get back here!"

I turn towards my left and start weaving in and out of the crowd of people.

I hear him call, "Guys the little brats over here, come on!"

I turn to look over my shoulder and see him with a couple of burlier men. Crap.

I keep running through different buildings and alleys, dropping the wallet in one of them, dodging people everywhere. Even after I don't see them anymore I keep going. It's a good twenty minutes before I stop to catch my breath. As I suck in air and I glance around and spot the Harlem River in front of me.

I groan, can this day get any better? I reach in my pocket to pull out my phone to get directions when I realized that it wasn't there and neither was my wallet. Great.

I retrace some of my steps looking for the guys as I do. I find my phone with the screen cracked from where I dropped it. I see a homeless guy looking at me.

I give him a smile, "Excuse me sir, have you seen my wallet? I dropped it while running through here earlier."

"What's it to you?" he snarled.

I swallow, "It has my id and other stuff in it. I'd really like it back."

He stands slowly and walks over and hands me my wallet. My ID was there but none of the cash was.

I was about to ask him but he looked at me, "Finder's keeper's. You should've been more careful."

As he lumbered away I pull out my phone to call Happy to come get me. I hit the power button but the screen remains blank. I try turning it on a few more times before realizing that he was dead. Lovely. I glance at the skyline and see the sun was starting to set. It's been two hours since I saw Peter? Time flies when you're having fun. It was fun until I found out I have no money , no ride home, and that it was getting dark. Looks like I'm walking.

I sigh. Tony and Pepper are going to kill me.

At least I have my sandwich.
