A 6 ft purple-haired man walked towards the arena. This was it. The last fight of the Sports Festival. The one who won this match would be crowned the victor and receive the most honors. Failing now would be almost unthinkable. He reached the arena, pausing to take a look into the crowds.
MINORU MINETA
SWORN BROTHER OF IZUKU MIDORIYA
CLASS PRESIDENT OF CLASS 1-A
Mineta took a deep breath. It was time to fight his kyodai. Izuku himself had told Mineta that this time, Izuku wouldn't be holding back. He had to show to the world that his Quirklessness wasn't a weakness, that even without an eye and a quirk, he could come out on the top. Mineta wanted to throw the match, but Izuku almost slapped him then.
"If I win because you forfeited, what the hell does that say about me, kyodai!"
No, Izuku wanted to carry the match. He wanted the world to see how well he could do against the best fighter of Class 1-A.
Suddenly, the speakers burst with noise, signifying the fact that Present Mic was about to begin the match.
"Here we are, folks! The final match of the U.A Sports Festival! On the left we have Minoru Mineta! The Dragon of Yuuei! A teenager who unjustly endured two years in the North Tokyo Juvenile Detention Center, only to join the Hero Course! A fearsome legend in his own right, it's only fair that he faces an opponent of similar caliber!"
Sparklers ignited then, and on the ramp, his Sports Festival uniform ripped on the upper torso to show off the Hannya tattoo, stood none other than his eyepatch-wearing kyodai.
IZUKU MIDORIYA
SWORN BROTHER OF MINETA MINORU
CLASS 1-A'S QUIRKLESS MAD DOG
"Izuku Midoriya!" Present Mic shouted. The crowd, once booing the quirkless student, cheered themselves hoarse. Izuku really had made a reputation today, hadn't he?
Izuku danced on the stage with his dagger, showing his clear enjoyment at the atmosphere surrounding him.
"In the months that he's been in Class 1-A, the Mad Dog of Mustafu has yet to taste defeat!"
Izuku suddenly jumped down, waving his dagger. Fuck, he really was showing off, wasn't he? Mic was all for it.
"Look at that chilling entrance! Half performance, half raw-power!"
Izuku held his arms out, almost as if inviting the crowd to take him on.
"Is Mineta the man that can take him down?"
Mineta chuckled. All these years later, and Izuku was still finding ways to surprise him.
"And now he enters the ring!"
As the crowd's noise died down, Midoriya smiled. "Whaddya think, Mineta-chan! Ain't I red hot!"
Mineta smiled "Well, why don't you ask your girlfriend that, kyodai? I'm willing to bet Mina would give you a definite answer, no?"
Izuku looked at Mineta, unamused, before perking up again. "Well, it doesn't matter. Let's do this shit. I ain't gonna hold back this time, Mineta-chan! Got one shot to show the world how well we Quirkless freaks can stand against them!"
Mineta's hand clasped the top half of his Sports Festival Uniform, before tearing it off. His dragon tattoo was on display for the world to see.
"If you're fighting with all you've got, kyodai, then it would be selfish of me to try holding back." He settled into a fighting stance.
Midnight cracked her whip.
"BRING IT ON!" Mineta roared, as the two rushed towards each other.
