"How the hell did this happen", with a grunt Sam pushes herself free from the wall and she tries to step forward. Immediately she feels a sharp, burning pain in her leg and she has to lean back against the wall in an effort to keep standing. "Damn, this is going to be a problem'.

-Flashback-

The day had started out like any other day. She went to work early in the morning. Alone in her car by herself, always by herself. She had worked a short while in her lab with some new toys they had found on their latest mission until she was interrupted by colonel O'Neill. They had bickered some back and forth and that was when they were all asked to join the general in the briefing room. There was a planet which they had visited not too long ago but at the moment it seemed like there was an attack going on. So the only logical conclusion was that a few SG teams were going back to that planet to kick some snaky butt and be annoying Tauri. They came, they saw and they were overrun. The outcome of that "helping hand" was the retreat of the SG teams and the capture of Sam.

- End flashback-

The soldier tries to step forward once again, but her leg refuses to carry the weight and the tumbles towards the floor. She was hit by with a staff blast and her leg is searing with pain. The dull pain and fog in her head aren't helping as well and the partially memory loss is nothing short from irritating. She is captured by a Goa'uld with a sickening taste for gold. Even the cell she is in now is made out of gold and glimmering stones. The fight has made her thirsty and she sees a small glass like bowl with water in it. At least she thinks it is water. Trembling from the pain she tries to crawl the short distance forward and she dips her fingers in de liquid. Ever so carefully she let's a drop fall onto her tongue. It's water. Without a second to waste she grasps the bowel with water at gulps it down her throat. When she tries to swallow however she feels something around her neck. She brings her fingers to her neck and feels at the object which is locked there. It's smooth and goes all the way around her neck and throat like some kind of collar. She look into the reflection of the last bit of water in de bowl and she sees a shimmering of gold. She looks like a very expensive, dirty poodle at the moment. Sam searches her memory in the hopes she can find the moment it was put around her throat but, the only thing she encounters is fog and dullness. They must had slapped it on her while she was drugged and barely conscious.

Sam is still lost in thought when the heavy door is slammed open and a few guards appear in the doorway. She doesn't recognize the symbol on the Jaffa which means it's a Goa'uld they haven't encountered yet. This doesn't come as any surprise to Sam since they just started using the gate and Teal'c has told of the many encounters he has had with all kinds of Goa'uld when he was first prime. Before she can think of anything else Sam is dragged forward and while she hangs between her captors she tries to sneak a peak at her surroundings. It's a Goa'uld mothership which means that with the limited resources they humans have it will be almost impossible to find her. She needs a miracle and a big miracle as of that.
