First DC fanfic...go easy on me

"Checkmate"

Clark had been hearing that word for nearly an hour. Clark was at the watchtower and got bored so he thought that playing chess with Oliver Queen was a good idea.

Boy was he wrong.

"Fuck you Olie." Clark hissed

Olie smirked "Oh wow I actually got the boy scout to curse."

"Uncle Clark what does fuck mean?"

Shit, Bruce had a mission and asked Clark to watch Dick today, he had completely forgotten that Robin had been watching him play.

"Yea Uncle Clark what does fuck mean." Oliver mocked

Clark glared at Olie before looking at Dick to answer his um...question.

"uhh...It means that you love someone." Clark lied.

Olie bit his lip to keep himself from laughing, and he thought Clark was against lying.

The little eight year old just smiled and nodded.

"Okay Uncle Clark."

Clark was glad that Dick left it at that, or so he thought.

An hour later Batman came back to the watchtower to pick up Dick.

"Robin have a nice time?" Bruce asked him as he lifted Dick into his arms.

"Yes it was awesome!" The child said.

"I missed you Robin." Bruce said pulling him close.

"Fuck you Bruce."

Bruce heart stopped for a minute.

'What the hell.'

Clark paled and Oliver burst out laughing.

"Where did you learn that word Robin?" Bruce asked shakily.

"From Uncle Clark he said that it means that you love someone." Dick said happily.

"Dick that word is a naughty word and can offend people."

"But Uncle Clark said..."

"Uncle Clark was confused..." Bruce cut him off

"VERY confused." Bruce said darkly glaring at Clark.

"I'm sorry." Dick said on the verge of tears

Bruce sighed "It wasn't your fault chum, why don't you go say hi to Uncle Barry while I take care of some business?"

"Okay" Dick said sweetly before running off.

Oliver patted Clark on back "Nice knowing you Clark." And Oliver turned and left.

Bruce gave Clark the scariest glare he had ever seen him make.

"Clark"

The man of steel gulped

"...Yea?"

Bruce pulled out a piece of kytonite

"I'm giving you a ten second head start."
