Phillip pulled his head from from the sand he landed in and shook it to remove the sand out of his hair and ears. He patted his hair down to get the rest off before looking around to get a view of his surroundings.
He was at a beach with a few palm trees sticking out of the sand and a lush forest a little farther inland. He turned to see the sparkling surface of the sea with small waves hit the land. Unfortunately, none of others had landed near him. He look around for any disturbances around – any small craters or shifts of the sand – but found none within sight. Phillip checked his belt to see all of his Pokemon remained to his being.
With a sigh, Phillip stood tall and stretched before walking towards the forest. Something told him he wouldn't find any significant surprises along the coast.
Scene Change
" Screw this island!" Phillip screamed as he dodged another one of the bird's ice attacks. Said attack encased a miles worth of trees, forcing Phillip to run again. The bird just kept flying at him.
The bird was majestic in appearance, with a slim physique and sky blue in color. It had a plume of feathers one it's the were shaped like rhombuses and a tail that was a dark blue ribbon. This bird would have had a name earlier, but wouldn't appear on Phillip's PokeDex.
Thus, Phillip was running from the Pokemon he "affectionately" called " The Giant Chicken".
After a few hours of chasing Phillip, however, "The Giant Chicken" flew off, leaving a crystal trail following it. Phillip stared at it's retreating form before flipping it his version of a bird. He looked around to see the place had gone dark, signifying that night had come far faster than wanted. Phillip then spotted a cave nearby and walked into it. Once there, he leaned up against the wall and fell asleep.
Phillip opened his eyes to stare down Black, who had tried starling Phillip by getting extremely close to him. Phillip poked Black's snout, causing Black to snort before walking over to one side of the mind-scape and laying down with a thud.
" I've been contemplating our current situation." Phillip turned from Black to spy Gabriel swaying above them in a hamac. " I figured you could simply fly off the island and go back to the main land."
" Oh sure." Phillip said, his eyes twitching. " Let's leave Ash, Misty, Brock, Jessie, James, Meowth, and all their Pokemon in the jaws of giant Pokemon just so we can save our own skins. What a fantastic idea."
" I understand sarcasm." Gabriel replied, staring down at Phillip.
" Then let me get stuff done my way."
Gabriel shrugged. " Have it your way." With that, Phillip left his mind.
Phillip opened his eyes in the real world. He look outside to see the sun rays shining down around him. Phillip got out of the cave before standing and stretching all creaks in his bones.
Suddenly, a shadow blocked out the rays and Phillip returned his sights to the skies. There, standing a little less than four feet away from him, was a Pokemon with brown plated armor and scythes for arms. Phillip did the one thing any sane man would do at this point in time.
He ran.
Phillip jumped over several logs and ducked under ever more falling trees created by the tremors the giant Pokemon created with each footstep. Only after a few more feet did he hit a clearing, and when he did, he saw Jessie and James yards away.
Phillip tapped into his powers for a seconds and covered the distance in a second. He then tackled them with enough force to send them directly into the mining cart not too far ahead of them.
Jessie growled as she looked up at him. " What the heck was-?!" Her question was cut short as she was forced forward slightly. Phillip had pulled the level that was inside the cart, causing said cart to rush backward, in between the feet of the giant Pokemon that was chasing Phillip.
However, Jessie and James seemed to have brought some wiring with them, which tripped the Pokemon and caused it to be dragged with them to their unknown destination. Jessie reached over to stop the cart and suggested they ran for it when it did, but when she pulled, the lever snapped off. Phillip raised an eyebrow at her, where Jessie just threw the lever away while laughing sheepishly.
Soon, the mining cart traveled close to a land bridge high off the ground with a jumbo-sized Pikachu next to it. However, thanks to new tremors created by the dragged Pokemon behind the cart, the bridge collapsed, sending three new passengers with them. These passengers just happened to be Ash, Misty, and Brock.
Phillip pointed at them. " Found you!"
Ash was the first to retaliate, also pointing fingers. " We were searching for YOU!" Both received a punch to the head, thanks to Misty.
" In case you forgotten, we nearly died!" Misty ranted, before turning to Team-Rocket-minus- one. " What are you two doing here?"
" We didn't have a choice in the matter!" Jessie replied. " But that doesn't matter now." Jessie and James stood up and extended their arms. " Give us Pikachu and no one gets hurt."
Phillip pointed behind the two. " If you want a Pikachu, look behind you." The two did so and was met with the smiling face of huge Pikachu.
" Not that one!" the two said with fright.
Misty, on the other hand, saw something else. " Ash, look over there!" Ash followed her line of sight to see three super-sized, full evolutions of Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle chasing down a Pikachu, Meowth, Koffing, Ekans, and all three of previously stated. Ash called for his Pokemon and asked for the cart to be stopped.
Phillip told him, " Ask Miss Fix It over there why we can't." Jessie was just laughing away, pretending she wasn't hearing the conversation.
" Oh, give me a break," was his reply. Phillip rolled his eyes at this.
Misty pulled everyone's attention to what was up ahead: a full blown roller coaster vertical loop. Phillip was keen on getting out of the cart there and then, but they hit loop before he had a chance to move. Luckily, the loop did something good for them. When they got to the bottom, they were right next to the normal-sized Pokemon. Ash gave them a wave and the group of Pokemon jumped into the cart. Misty caught Squirtle while Brock took care of Bulbasaur. Phillip caught Charmander and Ash got Pikachu. Koffing and Ekans returned to their trainer's side. Only Meowth had to be unlucky enough to have to grab the side of the cart before they all moved on. The only unfortunate event that happened during this would be the fact that now they had five Pokemon being dragged after them.
Suddenly, Team Rocket became fortune-tellers. First, the cable holding the Pokemon and the cart together snapped, predicted beforehand. Then, the cart his a jump that sent them flying into the air, forcing them to crash into a yellow, bird Pokemon whose body looked like a lightning bolt mixed with a avian. They went through it, but instead of anything a normal animal would have inside spilling out, machinery, cogs, and bolt flew out, revealing that it was a robot. And if this was a robot, that meant...
" They were all robots." Phillip said as a vein appeared on his forehead. He gave the other machines the bird as the once-flying Pokemon crashed into them. Soon, the cart began it's own descent to the ocean below.
After the drop and large splash, they all met up back on surface with Team Rocket floating only because Phillip summoned his Wartortle to carry him and he saw the group nearly drowning. They saw a float in the shape of a Gyarados float by and called for help. They were brought on board and return to the safety of the main land, but Team Rocket was pulled aside to spoken to after everyone else left.
Phillip, once again, left the rest to their own resources so he could do what he wanted to do. However, he wasn't happy with the first city he got to, but knew it would be best to stop for the night there. After all, when has he been able to avoid a beach?
That's a wrap!
