I'm sorry that I've been out of it for more than a year now. I've been busy with college and my job, so I've had too little time and the time I did have was playing games. Hopefully, I can fix that a put this into a regular schedule soon.

Anyway, let's get back to the adventure.

"So, where am I now?" Phillip mumbled to himself as he pulled out a map for the Kanto region he had just bought. He sat down at the edge of the sidewalk as he saw that he was somewhere off the Fuschia Peninsula and Vermillion city. Phillip sighed before folding the map to pocket size before looking up from his position.

The city he was found was a busy one. Sure, the buildings weren't as tall as some others he had seen, but it didn't stop it from being busy. To the south, the sea was filled with retreating ships and ferries. At the horizon, there was a building project that was at the very beginning stages. Phillip hummed a little bit with a melancholy tune when thinking about what Pokémon would be effected by the change of scenery.

From what Phillip was read in the info booth, the ferry was supposed to lead back to the mainland, but the last one for the day had already left for the evening, leaving Phillip stuck until tomorrow.

Phillip sighed once more before standing up and processed to walk towards the pier in order to get a better look at the project. He was hoping that, for the most past, the building wouldn't be dangerous to the Pokémon that lived in the sea.

Unfortunately, that didn't seem the case, as one of the many ships that surrounded the project exploded.

Phillip raced down through the crowds of people screaming their heads off, and launched himself off the pier and into the water. For a normal human, they would have to swim to their destination from there.

Phillip was anything except a normal human.

As soon as his foot touched the water, he just began running towards the debris that was once a ship. When Phillip got there, he began pulling the surviving crew members out of the water and placing them on his shoulder. With all of the crew was out of the water, Phillip had three people on top of him as he was running back to the piers.

However, luck was on his side that day. While taking the journey back to the piers, a boat was being sent his way. Phillip saw Misty, Ash, and Brock were the only ones aboard, but Phillip decided that was enough for now. He dropped off the crew onto the boat before managing to climb on himself.

Misty and Brock took it upon herself to look after the crew. Ash was keener on asking the questions one would ask a newly revealed superhero. Phillip, however, wasn't interested in answering the questions, and promptly ignored Ash, before asking one question Phillip had.

"What got you guys to get on boat to come out here?"

Misty shrugged. "The crew needed some help. What other reason would we need?"

Phillip raised an eyebrow. "Remember the last time we were on a boat together?"

The air grew cold around them and a shiver raced up everyone's spines.

"Let's not and say we did."

Phillip nodded. "Good enough for me."

One of the crew members started muttering, though the rest of his body was completely paralyzed, about the "terrible" situation and that he needed to tell his boss what had happened.

Phillip stared down at him and asked, "Where do we need to go?"

"I'm the boss: Nastina!"

"I'm gone."

Phillip was out the door of room as soon as the crone called Nastina alerted Ash, Brock, Misty, and he that she was the boss of the crew members that the group had saved.

Phillip didn't need any reward for the woman, nor did he want any more propositions that came from the lady's mouth. He just wanted to leave the city that he had managed to get to before the sun sets.

Phillip walked outside of building of the luxurious room that Nastina owned and took a right on the street in front of it. This lead to him walking across the pier towards what appeared to be a pool set up. As he got close, a small Pokémon was swimming around and splashing about in the pool. The Pokédex called said Pokémon a Horsea.

Phillip sat down by the pool for a while, not completely sure what to do. The ferries that were to go to the main land were done for the day, so he was stranded unless he wish to bring more people to the circus he called a life.

Before contemplating this further, Phillip heard a voice call for the Horsea in the pool, who apparently gained a new companion in the form of Pikachu, so he turned to see Ash, Misty, and Brock running up to the pool, Misty leading the charge.

Misty walked up to Horsea to see its appearance as Brock commented on how the Super Potion was working. Misty picked up Horsea and embraced it for a second before Horsea let off some cries that brought said Pokémon to Misty's face level.

Ash brought up something they didn't talk about. "Say, didn't that picture it drew look like a Tentacool?"

Phillip look at him. "Say what now?" Ash gave him a rundown of what Nastina had told the others. With a sigh, Phillip summed it all up. "So, basically, a human is complaining how nature has inconvenienced them, instead of how they themselves are harming nature." Ash gave an awkward nod. Phillip then asked "What else is new?" Everyone kept their mouths shut.

Brock connected the drawing Horsea drew with the sunken ship, which was given an approval by the Horsea itself.

Phillip smirked and whispered to himself. "I know a lot of humans that have field day in this dimension." Before anymore communication between human and Pokémon could be reached, megaphones across the entire city rang out, calling for the citizens to listen.

"Effective immediately, I am recruiting volunteers to exterminate the Tentacool terrorizing our town." Misty basically gasped at the prospect of this, but Phillip blocked her out for the rest of the speech. "I will award one million dollars to anyone who can exterminate the Tentacool. Isn't Nastina generous? Anyone who likes money- I mean - wants to help the development of our town, come to the yacht harbor immediately."

"She suspects to get people to destroy the Tentacool for money?" Misty questioned. "How ridiculous!"

Phillip looked back at her. "You fail to realize humanity's own stupidity." He pulled himself from his position to show a crowd of people rushing towards the pier behind them. Ash, Brock, and Misty were trampled by the people, with Phillip moving far off to the side of the crowd and Horsea jumping to the sea at their side.

The crowd surrounded a tank, which Nastina came out from the top hatch. Nastina pulled out a megaphone, calling to the people for the one who would win the reward.

A rose with a suction cup placed at the end of the stem planted itself on the barrel of the tank, which pulled everyone's attention to a boat out at sea.

Phillip rolled his eyes, and placed ear plugs into the correct position before Team Rockets' theme played. They really need to find a new hobby. I've gotten so annoyed by this, it has become so predictable.

When Phillip noticed Team Rocket was done with their routine, he pulled out the plugs to watch the team get blast by whatever was erupting from the tank's gun. When Nastina yelled at the team about the Tentacool, they apologized about insulting her appearance, took up the extermination process, and rushed towards the resort construction site.

Misty looked at Phillip. "Do something!"

Phillip glanced back. "What, pray tell, would you like me to do? Hurt Nastina? She has a right to believe what she believes, and the right to act appropriately to her wishes. I could call the police on Team Rocket for past crimes."

"Do you only help people?!"

Phillip looked down at book he just pulled out to read. "No. I hate humanity. I just learned not to force my thought process onto others. I don't have that right."

"But-"

Phillip held his hand to Misty's face to stop her from talking. "If her plan fails, you can sit back and laugh at her. After that, you can help the fish. It shouldn't take much, considering that most tourist to the resort will probably want to wild Pokémon in a natural habitat as part of the resort. Should this plan work, the resort will falter, and she destroy said resort with her own hands."

Misty just huffed at this. Meanwhile, people looked out at the boat that just left as it got surrounded by Tentacool. One of the creatures shot a small beam at the boat, causing it to explode. A barrel landed on top of the Tentacool that shot the beam and something amazing happened.

The Tentacool immediately glowed white while growing to enormous sizes, gaining more tentacles along the way up. Only when reaching several stories tall did it stop growing, and by then turned to a fully evolved Tentacruel, the same creature but with many more tentacles, larger upper body, and two large fangs coming out of the front and back of the body.

Said Tentacruel was now using the construction site like building blocks, but not for the purpose of building.

Phillip looked over to Nastina. "You have something for a thing like that?" Nastina just began firing her weapons, which had no effect whatsoever. Phillip rolled his eyes, said, "Figures" before rushing everyone in the city one of the larger buildings at the back of the city.

It wasn't long after that the tidal wave caused by Tentacruel came crashing into the city, destroying the pier and part of the city closest to the sea.

Nastina pounded at the glass of the window she was looking out of as a pillar crashed in an amusement park. "That's the last straw, Tentacool! I'm coming after ya!" She almost barged out of the building if Phillip press a pressure point at the base of her neck, knocking her out.

Brock watched, commenting on what Horsea was trying to tell them, Misty didn't understand the action, thinking how everyone will be against Tentacool from then on, and Ash asking Pikachu to do something, only to receive a terrified answer in return.

Phillip cracked his neck. "Well, time to do what I need to do."

Misty look at him. "Where are you going?"

Phillip told her, "Helping" before he walked downstairs, opened the door and shot like a bullet towards the city.

Tentacruel was winding up to smash a tentacle into a building to smash it apart, only for Phillip to stop the hit with his palm.

"We are Tentacool and Tentacruel." Phillip looked up to see Meowth being controlled by a Tentacool. "Humans have destroyed our ocean home and now we will have our revenge!"

Phillip help up his free hand. "Stop. The term you need to use is 'human', because it was only one human who was intentionally interested in harming you. She used her power to extort and bribe people to do her biding."

"Then why has no human fought for us? Why did humans ignore our suffering for these items?"

Phillip sighed. "Trust me, you're not first, and certainly not going to be the last, being who sees money as something absolutely worthless. We'll work on that latter. They ignored you because they believed their own woes come first."

Phillip glanced directly towards the Tentacruel. "They have problems similar to yours, and were willing to go as far as they could to deal with the problems, even if they had to sell their souls to get there."

Phillip looked back at Meowth. "However, they didn't think to talk to you, because you didn't seem willing to listen. You, on the other hand, seem to be able to possess someone to communicate your thoughts. You had the ability to express your grievances with humanity, to be heard by the people who could have stopped the process entirely, yet you refused. You chose to harm others than to say something. So, it isn't their fault completely."

"We believed actions to be louder than words. Humans like you must learn pain." The Tentacruel attack Phillip with another tentacle, only for to be blocked as well.

Phillip's glances turned to cold stares. "And you need to learn what actions to take. Waiting until the end isn't always the best policy. 'Nip it in the bud before it blooms'. Not a policy I always follow but it's something people and Pokémon can use. Furthermore, a peaceful talk can lead to better results than brutal warfare. Not always, but it's better try and fail than to not try at all."

"The past has been settled. The coral reef we lived in were almost destroyed. Now we destroy your homes." Tentacruel shot another tentacle for an attack. Again blocked, by a foot this time.

Phillip's glares began to harden. "So, you refuse to understand and to help seek peace."

"We must be avenged!"

Phillip made one last glance towards Tentacruel. A glance filled with murderous intentions. "Then disappear from this world."

"Stop!"

The Tentacruel and Phillip looked at building to find Misty standing there. She told the Tentacruel that humans will stop attack their homes and that they understood. Tentacruel looked at the humans, scattered and scared.

Tentacruel used Meowth as a warning if something should happen to the coral reefs by human hand, before sending Meowth into the wreckage of a broken Ferris wheel. Tentacruel gave a harsh glare to Phillip before going back to the ocean.

Unfortunately, someone had to wake up and try attack Tentacruel with a bazooka, with no effect. "You don't think I'll let you off that easy, did-"

Nastina didn't get to finish her sentence, as Phillip had punted her out of the city. Tentacruel added extra power by adding a tentacle strike to the mix, sending Nastina into the distance. The two shared a look before going separate ways.

Phillip fell into the bed given by ferry. "I'm done with dealing with people. I don't want to hear another voice the rest of the day."

Cue Ash's tantrum over people stealing his victory pose.

"Ah, come on!"

Again, sorry for the wait. Didn't know what to do with this chapter, probably still don't. I'll work on that later.
