Nyas POV : For Nya it was the greatest moment in her life when she found out she was going to be the master of water.

She loved the idea of having a power of her own, she had always looked up to Kai especially when he got fire powers. To be honest though being a ninja was kind of boring sometimes especially on patrol ever since Morro had died things had really quieted down.

So, here she was waiting for something to happen at a bus station! This is such a drag… she said to herself. (let me know if you know if you recognize the saying and who it is from;)

She watched as people walked in and out of the bus station. But then one person in particular caught her eye. It was a guy in a black hoodie with what looked like the pants of a ninja gi, he had black hair with some green strips towards the front of his face.

Who does he remind me of? Nya muttered under her breath.

She didn't know why but she decided she should follow him.

Morros POV : He handed over the $40 bucks to the employee.

Here you go sir! She said in an over cheery voice.

Thanks. Morro muttered before walking back outside and sitting on a bench.

Morros bus wasn't supposed to show up for another 20 minutes. A young lady with short blond hair and big red sunglasses sat down next to him and seemed to be staring off into space. She wasn't wearing anything special, just a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and a gold bracelet with a few rubies. The middle one was so big it almost looked like a button.

Probably fake. Morro said in his head.

He dismissed the girl not seeing her as any kind of threat or someone to take notice of.

So where are you heading? She asked with a curious face.

Northwest. He replied not thinking much of the question.

How long until your bus gets here? She continued.

Idk. He replied.

Oh well do you want to play League of Heroes with me while you wait? She said, wiping out her phone.

I don't know what that is…. He said honestly.

Oh, it's ok, I can download it for you. She said kindly.

I don't have… that. He said, pointing at the odd device.

Oh? she said looking at him curiously.

A bus suddenly pulled up. Theirs my bus! He said dashing for the door.

He sat down two rows from the front on the left hand side.

Ticket? The driver suddenly said.

Oh right. He gave the driver his ticket and sat back down. He stared at the roof slowly letting sleep over take him.

Nyas POV : She watched as the odd boy dashed off onto the bus that had pulled up. Again, she couldn't shake the feeling that she had known him. She pulled out her phone and quickly texted the boys *not gona b home 4 awhile*. Within seconds Jay texted back *y?*. She replied *scouting out a sus green boy*. This time Kai texted her back *k stay out of trouble and get out of their if things get rough*. Nya rolled her eyes as she texted back *YeS mOm*. With that she ran behind the bus station, took off her disguise, summoned her dragon, and flew off to follow the bus.

Kais POV : RUDE. He said as he looked at Nyas message.

Lloyd chuckled and playfully elbow jabbed his brother. You are pretty protective at times. Lloyd half joking half thankfully said.

It's not MY fault all of my siblings do stupid stuff. Kai said with a sarcastic eye roll.

Even me? Lloyd asked with puppy dog eyes.

Did the last 3 weeks somehow manage to get lost in all that comic book knowledge. Kai replied again, poking his little brother in the forehead.

Lloyd rolled his eyes and smacked Kais hand.

As if, I don't think I'll ever forget whats happened. He said with a sudden frown.

Eh, don't worry about it as long as I'm alive I'll never let it happen again. Kai said protectively pulling his little brother into a hug.

Yeah.. Lloyd said comfortably in his brother's arms. Now, come on, we need to go on patrol. Lloyd said, reluctantly getting up.

Fiiinnnneee. Kai said playfully, drawing out his words and walking after his little brother. They went outside and jumped onto their dragons and flew off.

Wus POV : He sighed sadly. They still hadn't found Morro, his students had promised to keep an eye out but he knew better than to trust them when it came to this. He knew his students had resentment towards the former ghost but in the end he had tried to make amends, if only they knew. Morro was like a son to him, losing him…. Hurt more than he had let on then finding out he was still alive and human?! His heart had skyrocketed. He could have his son- student back, but his other students weren't so forgiving. He figured it would take a miracle to get them to accept him.

Coles POV : JAY! FOR THE LAST TIME WE'RE NOT GETTING ALL THAT COTTON CANDY!

Jay had a shopping cart filled to the brim with cotton candy.

YES. WE. ARE! Jay yelled back dead serious hugging his cart.

Cole sighed. Fine but don't blame me when sensei gives you a lecture on eating too much- AHHH.

It was all the ghost could muster as a cup of water was dumped on him.

Oh I'm so, so, about that she's still learning not to throw things. An apologetic mother said picking up the cup her daughter had just thrown unaware of what was about to happen.

JAY! Cole yelled in a desperate attempt to do something. Suddenly the ghost exploded, leaving only a green goo as a hint that he'd ever been there.

Cole? Jay said desperately not believing what just unfolded before his eyes.

W-what? The confused mother said, trying to understand what had just unfolded.

COLE! Jay screamed running over the goo praying this was a prank.

Cole? C'mon man th-this isn't funny! Cole? Jay stared at the goo. All the lightning master could do was stare.

~Time skip~

Morros POV: It was close to midnight now and that water ninja was still following his bus. Damn ninja. He cursed under his breath.

My mom always tells me cursing is bad. A girl with brown hair around 13 said looking over the seat at the master of wind.

Oh really and who might you be? He was curious about this odd girl who happened to be traveling alone.

My name is Indica. She said, flopping down next to him.

Morro. The master of wind said giving her a please don't scream AHH IT'S THE GHOST THAT TRIED TO DESTROY NINJAGO face.

You're not from around here are you? She was apparently completely unaware of his identity.

Nope. He replied.

Where are you going? She said curious about this odd stranger.

I-... don't know. The past ghost said slightly sad.

Do you have a place to stay? She asked.

No, I was thinking I'd find an old shed or something. He replied again.

Why don't you come stay at my house? She said as the idea struck her mind.

Are you sure your parents would be ok with that? Morro said not wanting to get his hopes up.

I live with my mom and brother and trust me as long as you help with chores you can stay as long as you want! She was excited at the thought of having an older brother around.

I don't have anywhere else to go. He thought to himself. Ok I guess I can stay at your place for a bit.

YES! Our exit's 3 miles from here. She said excitedly.

Sooo what's your brother's name?

He said in an attempt to make polite conversation, she was starting to grow on him.

Oh his name is Nelson! She said with a smile.

That's a cool name! He said with a grin actually getting excited.

They talked for the rest of the ride grinning, laughing, and just enjoying each other's company, they hadn't even noticed that the bus had stopped till the driver told them where they were.

Thanks James! Indica said, jumping off the bus and walking towards the house directly in front of them, which also happened to be pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Morro quickly followed her, only giving a slight look behind him to make sure the water ninja was gone.

MOM I'M HOME! Indica yelled into the house as she opened up the door while throwing her shoes a little to her left.

COME EAT YOUR DINNER! The girl's mother yelled back.

Should I take my shoes off? The master of wind said slightly amused by the girl's ability to multitask.

Oh yeah just throw them over there. She said pointing at her shoes.

He put his shoes next to hers and straightened them out, once he was finished with that task he went inside shutting the thick oak door behind him.

Mom, I brought a guest over. Indica said, guiding her new friend to the table where a woman in her early 30s and boy who was maybe 9 were sitting.

OMG ITS MORRO THE ELEMENTAL MASTER OF WIND! The boy said jumping out of his chair and practically teleporting in front of him.

HOLY-! Morro yelled, jumping into ghost form.

YOU. ARE. AWESOME! The boy said jumping up and down in front of Morro who was basically using Indica as a shield.

Down Neel! You're scaring him! Indica said, pushing her little brother back.

Sorry I'm a HUGE fan of elemental masters. He said with an apologetic smile.

It's fine. Morro said, flipping back to his human form and shaking the boy's hand.

I'm Katrina, their mom, and I've seen you on the news. She stated from her seat at the table looking him over with her cold brown eyes, she was obviously wary of him.

Aren't you, ehem, evil? Katrina asked.

T-that's the thing, I'm not really evil! Morro said, spinning the lie in his head. See, when I turned into a ghost the Preeminence controlled me and forced me to work for her. Morro said, waiting for a response with his breath held.

Oh, well in that case sit down you must be starving. Katrina said with a warm smile. Neel and Indica sat down, ushering him over in the process. He sat down next to Indica, he honestly wasn't sure what to do it had been so long since he'd been at a dinner table much less with other people. Indica grabbed a few egg rolls with her fork while her brother munched on some rice. Morro grabbed a few egg rolls himself, along with some rice and broccoli. Neel was saying something about how someone named Nemo was actually dead and his dad was going through the stages of grief his mom told him he was too smart for his own good while his sister said he overthought things. Morro took a bite of the egg roll and nearly fell over, the Cursed realm was limited to dry bread saying as ghosts didn't need to eat but they had bread around so they could feel more human. But, WOW this, this, was amazing! He hadn't eaten anything since he'd died and good lord this tasted amazing! Morro quickly shoved down what was on his plate and grabbed more, he also got that aches you get when you haven't eaten in a while and then you eat something.

Jesse louis are you that hungry? Indica asked with a joking smile.

Yeah I haven't eaten in like.. He had to pause for a moment.

How old was he now? Somewhere around 17. He'd ask Wu-... He'd figure it out. I think like 8 years? He wasn't sure numbers tended not to matter in the cursed realm.

So can you teleport? Neel asked.

Nope. Morro replied.

Okay so what can you do? Neel asked curiously.

I can turn into a ghost, I can go through things, I can control the wind and I can do airjitzu. Morro said proudly.

What about spinjitzu? Neel asked.

Morro frowned, I never learned. I was too young, I might have been able to learn it early if I had been the green ninja… Now he was scowling.

Meh sounds like being the green ninja sucks even though it's really cool. Neel said, biting some broccoli.

How so? Morro asked, curious. Neel went on to explain how you would have to work hard all the time and would have to grow up really fast.

Huh, Morro quietly thought to himself. Maybe there's more to life than being a ninja he'd never really thought about being a kid….

oml I can't believe I made it this far! I hope yall are enjoying this! I've been super busy my family has been traveling a lot lately so I haven't been able to work on this a lot but I hope I'm doing good!
