Tinkerbell's hideout – Neverland
Backstory – Hook's ship slipped through a portal and ended up back in Neverland. He left the crew on board and sailed to shore to find a way to get back. To avoid detection by Pan and the Lost Boys he trekked through the jungle to Tink's place hoping to seek refuge for the night – Tink and he didn't part on very good terms last time…..
As Hook used his sword to slash through the last few feet of brambles and weeds, Tink's hideout came into view. There was a solitary light in one of the windows. Hook paused to brace himself and then walked closer. He had almost reached the door when a voice stopped him "move another inch and this arrow goes straight in your heart".
Hook stopped and took a deep breath "If I raise my hands in surrender does that count as moving?" Tinkerbell stepped slowly round until she was facing Hook side-on "Captain Hook" she said his name as if it left a nasty taste in her mouth "I never thought I'd see you again"
"You and me both love" he replied dryly "Now I'd love to stand here and tell you everything but perhaps you could show me a little mercy and let me in before we both find ourselves on the wrong side of Pan, hmm?"
Tink lowered her bow and grudgingly led him into her home. Hook stooped a little to walk inside and Tink shut the door behind them. She led Hook up the short flight of stairs that led to the main part of her home. Hook sat on one of the chairs and stared at Tink
"What?" asked Tink who had remained by the stairs and was still clutching her bow and arrow.
"Are you going to stand there all night or are you going to join me? I don't bite" he added with a raising of his eyebrow.
"No" replied Tink sardonically "if I recall you do a lot worse than bite"
Tinkerbell moved to sit down opposite hook, still clutching her bow and arrow
"You obviously have something to say to me, so why not just say it and get it over with" said Hook with a hit of anger in his voice. He took a deep breath as he remembered exactly why Tinkerbell was angry with him and tried again "I'm not going to hurt you Tinkerbell so put down the weapon and talk to me"
Tinkerbell looked at him for a couple of seconds and then grudgingly let go of her bow. She had waited a long time to have this conversation with Hook but now the moment was here she was suddenly scared. She took a deep breath "Why did you come back?"
"My ship slipped through a portal – believe me I wouldn't be here if I had a choice" as the words came out he realised the double meaning behind them "I mean on this island, not with you"
Tink raised an eyebrow as if she didn't believe him "I think that's exactly what you mean"
"Oh come on Tinkerbell, you know me better than that, don't you?"
"I thought I did" she paused and then rushed on as if the words had been bubbling for years and could not be stopped now "you left me!" she exclaimed "All your talk of getting me off this island and helping me and the first chance you got, you go back to your ship and sailed away – do you have any idea what it's been like since you left here?"
"Tink…"Hook started to speak
"No" Tink cut him off "you don't get to explain. What you did, how you left me was indefensible. You have no idea what you left me to cope with. I…." she trailed off suddenly scared to say any more
Hook to his credit had the decency to look ashamed of himself. He sighed, "You're right Tink, I promised to help you and I didn't. I am sorry. Truly." He looked her straight in the eye as he said this and held her gaze. Tink took a deep breath and sighed "I've been angry with you for so long. Angry and…" she trailed off again not sure she trusted herself not to confess the other feeling she had held for Hook since as long as she could remember.
Hook took a shaky breath as he studied Tink. What was she afraid of saying? He hardly dared hope that she might be stopping herself from saying the one thing he had desired to hear for so, so long.
There was a moment of silence as Hook and Tink just looked at each other, not daring to say what the other was clearly thinking. Tink stood up and made her way over to the kitchen "I take it you're hungry? I have some biscuits and some rum but I might need a hand to reach it…." she trailed off as she sensed Hook right behind her. She could feel the heat coming from his body and had to brace herself before she turned to face him. She hadn't realised he was so close. So close that she could almost see her reflection in his eyes. Eyes that held her gaze and seemed to look straight into her soul. Without breaking his gaze, he reached up above Tink's head and lifted the bottle of rum off the shelf and placed it on the counter next to Tink
"You're still a gentleman I see" whispered Tink unable to tear her eyes away from his
"Aye" he whispered "a gentleman who can be soft and slow and gentle when the need arises" his face was so close to hers now that it would merely take a lift of her chin for their lips to meet. Tink's heart was racing and she could barely control her breathing
"Slow and gentle?" she questioned "even when the situation gets a little….rough?"
Hook's eyes widened and his eyebrow arched momentarily before suddenly his lips were on hers as he pinned her against the counter. Tink allowed herself to melt into the kiss as they both poured what felt like decades of undiluted passion and lust into the kiss. With one arm Hook lifted Tink on to the counter and pressed himself even harder into her. This only unleashed Tink's passion more as she pressed herself into him. She moaned into his mouth as his tongue explored her mouth. She hooked her legs around his waist and pulled him even closer to her.
Hook momentarily paused to look directly at Tink "are you sure love?" Tink took a breath and steeled herself to admit what she had been holding back for so long "Hook, I have loved you for as long as I can remember. Even if you don't feel the same way I know you feel something so yes, I'm sure. Be with me. Completely" Hook allowed himself a half-smile "Tinkerbell, I have loved you from the moment I set eyes on you all those years ago. If I had any idea you felt the same way I would have done this sooner" He quickly undid his trousers, knotted his hand in her hair and pulled her onto himself. Tink gasped as he entered her and arched her back as she gave herself over to the pleasure. It didn't take long before they were both gasping and as one, they climaxed together. Hook released his hand from her hair and placed his hand on the side of her face and Tink signed contentedly. After a few moments they broke apart and Hook stepped back to give Tink some space to breathe and to re-arrange his clothing.
"Are you ok love?" Hook asked quietly suddenly unsure if Tink's silence was regret at what had just happened.
He waited a moment and he watched as Tink raised her head and slowly opened her eyes. "I, uh, I think I need a minute" she gasped. She hopped down from the counter and stumbled. Hook instinctively grabbed her and steadied her. She gazed up at him and muttered "ever the gentleman"
"Oh I think I just proved I can also be a scoundrel" he joked. Gently and tenderly he leaned his head down and kissed her as she melted into him once more. "I think someone needs a drink" he muttered as he steered her back over to the table and sat her down. He grabbed the rum bottle off the counter and a couple of glasses and joined her at the table. He poured a generous measure for both of them and slid the glass over to her "Drink" he instructed "I need to see some colour in your cheeks"
Tink obeyed and took a sip which turned into a gulp as she downed the entire glass in one. It burned her throat but seemed to chase away the last of the fog that clouded her brain. She set the glass down and looked at Hook. "Do we need to talk about what just happened?" she asked only slightly afraid of what Hook might say
"Is there much to say? Correct me if I am wrong but we confessed our love for each other and then showed each other. I don't think it was all one-sided was it?"
"I just meant you don't have to worry if that was a mistake…" she trailed off as she met Hook's incredulous stare.
"You think that was a mistake love?" Hook exclaimed. He got up and moved to sit next to Tink. He cradled her chin in his fingers and forced her to look at him "Tinkerbell you really are the most infuriatingly obtuse person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. I have loved you since the first time you held a bow and arrow to my head" he smiled at the memory "and I do not regret what we just did. Not for a second"
Tink smiled and replied "I love you too" she leant forward to kiss him and Hook wrapped his arms around her. His kiss was deep and passionate and once again when they broke apart they were gasping for air
"Do you think you still have it in you to be a gentleman?" she questioned
Hook raised his eyebrow and answered "always"
"Good" replied Tink "because I think I could do with some slow and gentle"
"As you wish my lady" Hook answered as he scooped her up and, lips on hers, carried her upstairs to show her just how much of a gentleman he was
Later, as Hook and Tinkerbell lay in bed, replete and sleepy, Hook steeled himself to confess to Tink why he had left her all alone. He only hoped she would understand
"Tink" he began "when I left, you need to know…" he trailed off as Tink placed a finger on his lips
"It doesn't matter any more" she said "right or wrong, whatever your reason, I don't care. And even if you leave Neverland and I never see you again, I'll always have tonight and that…that will be enough for me"
Hook manoeuvred himself so he was looking down at Tink "Tinkerbell, if you think I am leaving this bloody island without you knowing how you feel about me you are very much mistaken"
The ferocity of this declaration seemed to clear the last doubts from Tink's mind as her brow cleared and she breathed "you really do love me?"
Exasperated Hook exclaimed "Yes I bloody love you, you frustrating fairy! I may be a pirate but I am underneath it all a gentleman" he implored Tink with his gaze, "I love you"
Tink lifted her head off the pillow and kissed him, allowing him to deepen the kiss as their passion took over. Hook broke off the kiss and rested his forehead on hers "As much as I would love to lay here with you for the rest of eternity alas I do have responsibilities. I need to find a way to get me, you and my crew away from Neverland."
