Love Speaks
Chapter 1
The sun began to set on a beautiful Sunday evening. Stacy waited frantically for her childhood friend, Valentina, from her old home in Italy to arrive. She was staying with the gang for a while, just to visit since it'd been so long since her and Stacy had been together. As soon as the door bell rang, Stacy shrieked with excitement. She welcomed Valentina inside, and they made their way to Stacy's bedroom so Valentina could settle. After some unpacking, the girls made themselves comfortable in bed and drifted off to sleep.
Morning crept on the sleepy girls quickly. Stacy's phone rang. She jumped up and answered it.
"Hello?"
She answered. It was her friends, calling to confirm their plans that day.
"Oh, yeah! Come by in a couple hours!"
As Stacy was on the phone, Valentina sat up. She was curious as to who would be stopping by that day.
Stacy got off the phone, and they too of them got ready for the day before heading out to the kitchen for breakfast. The whole gang was enjoying some pancakes at the table when Stacy said she was excited for Valentina to meet Kiki and Elsie. She hadn't told Valentina that they would be meeting that day up until that moment. Valentina was kind of nervous, she wished Stacy would have told her sooner as she's not a fan of surprises. However, she chose to be optimistic about it.
The time came for Kiki and Elsie to arrive, and when the bell rang they were welcomed inside by Stacy. She them showed them to the couch where Valentina sat.
"Valentina; this is Elsie, and this is Kiki! They're a couple of my bestest friends!" Stacy blushed.
Valentina immediately calmed. Her nervousness turned into butterflies, but she couldn't pin point why. Elsie was thrilled to meet her. She couldn't hide her excitement as she chirped hello. Valentina hopped off the couch to politely meet them. Kiki had an adorable smile on her face as she stuttered a hi. The four girls spent hours together in Stacy's room, just becoming good friends. Valentina had fallen in love with Kiki and Elsie, and they felt the same about her.
As it got darker, the girls decided to call it a day. Once Elsie and Kiki were gone, Valentina expressed how much she like them. Stacy was ecstatic. Valentina even asked if they could hang out again before she went back home. Stacy agreed, and texted their group chat. The girls all agreed to hang out again the next day.
When the next day finally came, Valentina couldn't stop talking about how excited she was to see Kiki and Elsie again. It started to get annoying to Stacy... She loved that Valentina liked her friends but she felt like her talking about it none stop was just obsessive. Once the girls came over, they did the same as they had done the day before. But this time, Valentina was more open and had no shame in telling very personal things about herself. This caused the other girls to feel the same until they were all having very personally conversations to each other, as girls usually do. Valentina was sad when it was time for them to leave. However, they planned to come back. They wanted to visit every day until Valentina left, since she lived so far they wanted to spend as much time as possible with her, considering they liked each other so much.
Valentina's last couple of days arrived. All the girls were in the middle of a board game when Kiki asked to talk to Stacy out in the hallway.
"How do I tell Valentina I like her...?" Kiki asked.
Stacy gasped. She was so surprised, and excited.
"Oh my... GOSH!" Stacy exclaimed. "Are you like... In love.. With Valentina?" She asked.
"Ever since I laid eyes on her, I felt butterfiles in my tummy. Now that I've gotten to know her better, she's one of the most amazing girls I've ever met. My heart skips a beat every time I think about her. It's such an indescribable, uncontrollable feeling.. I just can't express it."
Stacy hugged her. She was so happy for her. However, she had no idea how Kiki should tell her feelings to Valentina. She thought it shouldn't just be out of the blue. But time was limited.
The girls were stumped, so they went back into Stacy's room. Elsie and Valentina were curious of what they were talking about. But they were assured it was nothing. It had gotten late, so Elsie and Kiki headed out. Once they were gone, Stacy and Valentina settled for bed.
Kiki lay wide awake in bed that night. Her mind, and her heart, raced. She had never felt such a feeling before. She tossed and turned. Her hands shivered. Her breathing got heavy. She could not get Valentina off her mind, and to make matters worse; Valentina only had one day left before she went back to Italy without a planned time to come back. Kiki got out of bed, and went to splash some water on her face. She began to bawl, and once she managed to stop, she went back to bed. However, the crying started again; and she ended up crying herself to sleep as she thought "How do I tell her I love her?"
