Remembered
It was late at night in Amity Park and everyone was tired due to the kind of day they had to deal with.
Today had to deal with one of the biggest ghost infestations in town, second only to the time the ghost king invaded but thankfully it was over, all thanks to a certain half ghost hero and his team, who were also relieved to have all the chaos over... especially a certain blonde girl who was very close to said ghost boy.
A certain blonde girl who also lived in a fancy looking home in this strange town and was now finally relaxing in the privacy of her bedroom.
Her name is Estelle Joy Strong, known as "Star" by her friends. She is young, healthy and she is also the girlfriend of a certain Danny Fenton, who is no longer plighted by his amnesia and is once again back to fighting shape.
Star was happy for that.
She was even more happy over something special that had happened tonight.
She finally heard those three little words from her beloved boyfriend, three little words that she has been wanting to hear for a while now:
I love you.
Yes, Danny finally told her that he loves her and she still can't stop smiling about it.
Even better, not only did her totally cute and sweet boyfriend tell her that he loves her but he said that he wanted to officially celebrate their quarterversary tomorrow.
Star was surprised that he would want to, all things considered but he insisted and they agreed to do so...after they finished making out that is.
It's a good thing her dad was busy with paperwork, she didn't even want to think about what would've happened if he caught the two of them like that. It would have been embarrassing, regardless of how he reacted.
Anyway, Danny had left only a few moments ago, with the promise of making tomorrow, their first official quarterversary special.
Star was thrilled.
As happy as she is just to have him back to normal...and in love with her...she was excited to finally get to celebrate with him tomorrow.
To celebrate three months of romance and so much more.
"Oh, Danny..."Star thought, feeling a blush form on her face as she thought about him.
Sure, three months might not seem like a long time but they these last three months had been the best and most special of her life.
She could still remember so many of their most important moments together.
She remembered the time they got stranded on Specter Island and how it was the first step to changing their relationship. She remembered how they got trapped in the school a week later and it ended with them becoming closer and her finally getting the guts to quit the A-Listers and be his friend. She also remembered they confessed to each other after getting lost in the Ghost Zone and how much their relationship has blossomed since them.
They have already been through so much since then, their first official kiss in the ghost zone, their first date just after they managed to get back home, her coming up with Danny-Boo as his pet-name, all the ghosts fights, adventures and so much more that brought them closer and closer. However, tonight was the best, since despite all the pain and drama, Danny finally told her that he loves her.
"He loves me. He really loves me..."She whispered happily as she glanced down at something special on her finger.
She smiled as she looked at her class ring.
A beautiful gold and ruby class ring that her wonderful boyfriend had given her at the end of their third date.
The one where they decided to go steady once they knew what they had was the special.
It was kind of old fashion, and a part of her was still annoyed once she learned that Valerie almost got one too (something she'd ask about another time) but she is still happy, she loved the ring and she loved how Danny went so far to prove his feelings for her.
She'll never forget that moment. She still has it lovingly memorized.
FLASHBACK
It was exactly two weeks since their first date and Star and Danny were enjoying the last of their third date.
Today, not counting all the ghost attacks and dealing with some annoyances that shall not be named right now, they had a great time together.
They had gone to see a new movie that Star wanted to see, a romantic sci-fi that both she and Danny could enjoy. After that, they had gone for a romantic flight and they were now in the park, enjoying a nice picnic together in a lovely meadow.
It was nice and they were alone together.
"Want some cola?..."Danny offered to the blonde.
"Yes, please..."Star said as she took a sip before snuggling closer to her boyfriend.
The two continued eating together and just enjoying the other's presence.
"This is nice..."Danny said after taking a sip of his drink.
Star nodded.
"Yes, it is..."She said, just happy to be alone with him.
Today and the last two weeks were pretty wild but this is very nice.
She gently placed her hand on Danny's, who noticed and blushed.
It made Star smile, finding him adorable like that. They noticed the sun beginning to set, making the atmosphere even more romantic.
"Oh, Danny. Isn't this romantic?..."Star said as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Yeah, it is..."Danny said, enjoying this.
"The sun is so beautiful..."She said.
"Not as beautiful as you..."Danny said.
"Corny...but cute..."Star said with a giggle.
Danny chuckled too before he stopped. He looked at Star, who was still admiring the sunset and felt his heart racing fast.
He blushed before he tried to speak to her again.
"Um...Star?..."Danny started.
"Yes, Danny-Boo..."Star said, using the pet-name that she came up for him.
Danny blushed again, before he turned to look at her face to face. Star wondered what was up.
"Star...I, uh, wanted to ask you something..."Danny said, suddenly looking really shy.
"What is it?..."Star asked, while Danny looked even shyer for some reason.
"Star, we have been going out for two weeks now..."Danny started.
"Yeah?..."Star said, wondering where he is going with this.
"Star, these last few weeks have been amazing and...I think you're amazing too. You're a real special girl and I wanted to give you something..."He said quickly.
"What is it?..."Star asked, wondering why he is acting like this.
To her surprise, Danny pulled something from his back pocket.
"Huh?..."Starr said and her eyes widen at what was in his hand.
It was a ring,a class ring to be more precise.
It wasn't the same class ring he had almost given Valerie so long ago. Oh no, he felt that he needed to get a new one for the new woman in his life.
This ring was golden and it had a red gemstone in it. It was simple but Star was staring at it with full attention, she couldn't believe it.
"A ring? You wanna go steady?..."Star said in amazement.
"Well, yeah. I know we haven't been together long but I thought...well, I mean...my dad told me that a girlfriend isn't your girlfriend until you give her a class ring..."Danny said. "He also said that it means I think you could be the girl I fight ghosts with..."He added with a chuckle.
"So,..."He said as he had the class ring out.
Star heard every word he said, looked at the ring and still looked amazed.
"He's actually giving me a class ring..."Star thought, feeling touched and flattered.
"Are you serious?..."Star asked.
This is very old fashion but she felt so touched that he'd do this. Danny nodded, showing he's serious.
"Yeah, I am. You're special Star and I really like you. Look, I know that maybe-..."Whatever Danny was about to say was cut off when Star pulled him into a kiss, much like how she did in the ghost zone when he confessed to her.
Just like last time, it didn't take long for Danny to melt into the kiss and kiss her back.
After a long time, they pulled away from only a moment, and once again, they both had happy, dopey, smitten looks on their faces.
"I'm the luckiest guy in the world…"He thought in a smitten tone.
"Wow..."Star thought, just as smitten with him.
"I take it that you like the ring?..."Danny asked with a chuckle.
"I love it..."She said.
Danny smiled at that.
"Glad to hear that..."Danny said as he placed the gold and red ring on her finger.
Once he was done, Star could only admire the ring on her finger and she was almost teary eye at this point. Nowadays, most boys didn't bother to offer their girlfriends something like a ring due to not wanting such a commitment but Danny just showed he really is special by being the exception to the rule.
Speaking of which, she turned her attention back to her now steady boyfriend.
He looked into her eyes and Star smiled as she looked into his.
They both felt their hearts beating fast and felt so happy right now.
"Oh, Star..."He whispered to her in a soft voice.
"Oh, Danny..."She whispered back.
The two teens kissed once more, they were like that for who knows how long. One thing that they are such is that they were both very happy right now.
End Of Flashback
Present Time
Star sighed happily as she recalled that memory as she still looked at the beautiful ring on her finger.
This class ring, an old fashion yet sentimental token of Danny's affection and it was all hers.
Danny Fenton.
Her friend, her boyfriend and the boy whom she loves with all of her heart. The boy who gave her this beautiful class ring, along with his love.
It was all so wonderful and tomorrow, they were going to celebrate their quarterversary together and remind each other about how much they love each other.
"I can't wait to see the look on his face when he finally opens his present..."Star thought as she squealed a bit in excitement.
She spent a lot of time picking out that specific gift for Danny. She really wanted to see him open it, but knew he'd love it. Still, the idea of what he'd get her was enough to cast aside her desire to see the look on his face when he saw what it is she got him.
She just knew that tomorrow would be amazing.
However, Star was snapped out of her thoughts by her father reminding her that it was late and that it was time to go to sleep...and after a day like today, that sounds nice.
After spending a few minutes getting ready for bed, Star placed her class ring in it's usual nighttime spot, the nightstand next to her bed where it would be safe. Just as she was about to hit the hay, she sent one last look at the ring, before thinking back to her beloved boyfriend who loves her.
"I love you, Danny..."She thought before she finally found herself going to sleep, dreaming of Danny and their wonderful celebration tomorrow.
As she said before, she could hardly wait for it.
