A/N: I'm backkkkk. You miss me? I missed you guys. I am working through some writers block but came up with this chapter. This takes place the day after the last and focuses of the Gibbs' family. While the DiNozzo's are my favorite, I have some good idea's for these characters. As always please review and share thoughts and inspire me. Love ya!

It was certainly not Caleb's day.

The day started out pretty good too. His dad was still home when he woke up so they got to watch some quick cartoons while Mom made them breakfast. She made his favorite breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Him and Sarah didn't argue once on that morning. He had won the bike race to school. And the teacher was absent so the class had a substitute. So yeah, the day started out pretty good.

That all changed the second that Tommy McGill walked in the class, scowling at Cal. Tommy was what Caleb considered a bully. He was a year older than the rest of the class but got held back due to too many absences. Since he was older, he was also taller. And he used his height all the time. Tommy would hold books over kids' heads and laugh as they jumped, he would pants people like Neil just for fun, he knew more swear words than any one in the class and, boy, did he like to use them. He was a bully. And Cal hated bullies. So his good day was decreasing by the minute. Tommy walked right to Cal's desk and just sat on it without a word.

"What, Tommy?"

The older boy just smirked, clearly amused. He didn't say anything but just stared down Caleb. Tommy leaned in even closer until their faces were about an inch away. This annoyed Cal. He knew he could just ignore the gesture but like his father and mother, he had a sense of honor and always protected his pride. He wasn't known for backing down from a fight. "Get. Off. My. Desk" The words were spoken with such ferocity that most kids would listen. Apparently bullies weren't included in most kids.

"I don't think I will." It was taunting. He was baiting Cal to say something or do something. Caleb knew it but he was getting angry.

Cal narrowed his eyes and spoke slowly, "Get off my desk. Now. Last warning."

This just made Tommy laugh and get up only to throw himself onto the desk harder. "No."

That was all it took. Caleb's anger was now consuming him so he did what he thought of first. He stood up and shoved Tommy as hard as he could to the floor. Tommy hit the floor hard and tears formed in his eyes. Caleb smirked, happy that the boy might understand why it is mean to hurt others. His smirk didn't last for long. The substitute teacher marched over and tightly gripped Caleb's arm. So hard it might bruise.

"You. Whats your name?" He harshly spoke.

Caleb remained silent, glaring at the bald teacher. The teacher turned to Sarah, "What's his name, young lady?"

Sarah didn't wanna betray her brother but she also didn't wanna get in trouble. She settled for a shrug, since it wasn't lying if she didn't say anything. The teacher disagreed and let out noises of frustration. "Of all the disrespectful…" he muttered.

The man turned once more, to Caleb. "You! Go to the office. Maybe you'll tell them your name." The teacher snickered. "After all, they'll need it to call your parents."

Cal paled. Not his parents. They'd kill him. He wasn't allowed to fight in school. That was a big rule. While his father wanted him to stick up for others, Gibbs disapproved of doing it somewhere that it could lead to trouble. His mother was even worse. She hated getting called into school. Her temper almost always erupted at whoever she had to meet.

The ginger boy sighed and picked up his bag. Shooting a small smile towards his sister, he exited the classroom to his doom. He dragged his feet down the long hallways and bumped into his cousin Tali. The girl immediately smiled at him, before seeing his sad look.

"What's wrong Cal?" she questioned.

Caleb sighed again, "I'm in really big trouble."

"With the school or your parents?" Both children knew they were very different things. As much as all kids hated being told to sit silently in a classroom for recess detention, getting a call home was worse. Especially if your last name was Gibbs, DiNozzo, or McGee. And Caleb happened to fall into that category.

"Both, Tal. Like really big trouble. Like," he paused making sure no one was around before whispering, "spanking trouble."

The little brunette gasped. "What did you do?"

"I pushed Tommy off my desk and didn't answer my teacher."

"It's okay, Caleb. Tommy probably deserved it." Everyone at Woodridge School knew that Thomas was a bully. He picked on everyone younger or the same age at least once. Those older or who had older siblings usually got left alone but not always.

The boy nodded, "He did. He sat on my desk and wouldn't listen when I asked him to stop. I asked him twice Tali, twice."

"So you see, Uncle Gibbs won't be mad. You just gotta ask twice before taking action." All the adults in their family made that rule. Ask twice then act.

"Maybe. But I'm not 'pposed to get in trouble at school." Caleb retorted.

Tali nodded thoughtfully and took his hands in hers. "None of us are. It just happens sometimes, especially to Alex." she joked.

Caleb laughed at the jab towards his cousin. It was true. Trouble seemed to follow him. "I guess you're right. Hopefully Mom and Dad agree with you."

The two separated hands and began to make their separate ways. Over her long hair and shoulder, Tali called, "Remember, every rule has an exception."

He sent her a thumbs up before approaching the office. He felt better knowing Tali was right. Tommy did deserve it. Now he just needed to convince his parents that.

Thanks for reading! Did you like it? How should Jenny and Gibbs react? Let me know so the next chapter is how you want it. Also please go read and review my other story 'Connections'. Thanks guy!
