II. Body Discovered

Junko smiled as she saw Sayaka's lifeless body was discovered in the shower of Makoto's room. This was good, predictable but satisfying nevertheless. The thought of her sicking hope extinguished by vengeful despair was calming to Junko. So many others that had met their end by Junko had a story similar to Sayaka. Many were pretty and attractive but blindingly optimistic.

Mukuro did a passable job faking disbelief and launching herself into the investigation, though Junko would never tell her older sister that. Junko glanced at the other screens to check everyone who was left. Afterwards she resumed focus on Kyoko. The ball was in her court, so what would the Ultimate Detective do? Junko reached over to her cup of ramen and started eating as the investigation progressed. Chirhiro was having a hard time.

"How could this happen? She… was so nice." Chirhiro said, tearing up waterworks visible on the monitor. Mondo balled up his fists.

"So why the fuck are we just standing around here!? We gotta find that sonofabitch and beat the shit out of him!" Mondo said, stopping out of the room.

Junko snickered with glee. These were both the responses that she had expected from Mondo and Chihiro. Kyoko stared intently at the crime scene and then started to poke around investigating. Junko was even more fixated on her as Kyoko found the tiniest scraps of evidence. The dying message, the hiccup with Makoto's door and even tiny red hairs from the culprit. Junko couldn't help herself. Her 'Teacher' persona stepped in.

"Impressive really. Such focus, such potential." Junko said as she adjusted her glasses.

As she watched the investigation Junko found that watching through a screen was too constricting. She wanted to be up close and personal, not just with the crime scene but with Kyoko. She wanted to know everything about her and demystify this elusive detective. Junko then groaned and leaned back in her chair. She couldn't just switch places with her sister, she had to be here to man Monokuma. Or did she? Truly the thrill of the game was the unpredictability, such as despair itself striking at any moment. What if Monokuma was somewhat pre programmed for tomorrow? Hmmmm. Makoto's voice snapped the Mastermind from her train of thought.

"Don't worry Kyoko, I'm sure everyone will pull together through all of this."

"Of all of the people here, explain why I should trust you." Kyoko commanded a curious tone. Junko smirked evilly at Makoto with her Rude personality taking over.

"Yeah, you dumb asshole, you really think you're fucking good enough for her anyway?" Junko tauted at him as Makoto stumbled with his words for an answer.

"I-I don't know. I just… I want to trust you." Makoto said back with traces of sweet savory despair in his voice. Junko was teething at this point. Finishing up her cup of noodles and scooping up Monokuma, she spun around in her chair gleefully as Bubbles.

"NOPE! Wrong answer! Silly stupid Makoto, girls like her are so out of your league. *SIGH* She really such a wonderful question mark. 3 So many despairing secrets!"

Just then Kyoko pulled Makoto close to her and started whispering something into his ear. Junko immediately scrabbled, flipping switches and mashing buttons to zoom in on their conversation.

"-at the AV room tomorrow morning after breakfast." Kyoko finished quickly walking away.

Junko sat back into her chair annoyed that the first part of the conversation was missing. Then the door to the room opened once more as Mukuro quickly scampered inside. She looked over at Junko who had gotten up from her seat and walked over to her.

"Junko, I barely made it without someone seeing me. We need to be careful about what times you want me to return to the hideout." The soldier said looking back at the door, remembering all of the seconds during her return where she was almost exposed. Junko placed her glasses back onto her face.

"Lucky for you, we're swapping roles, tomorrow, you will stay here and watch, while I take your place." Mukuro was dumbfounded. Her sister NEVER let her get close to any of the buttons in the control room much less control Monokuma. Why switch all of the sudden after all the effort it took to make her look like Junko in the first place? This was reckless, especially for Junko.

"Tomorrow…?" Mukuro exclaimed. Junko walked past her, looking back over her shoulder and adjusted her glass.

"Did I stutter? I will preprogram everything for tomorrow and explain what you need to know." Mukuro sighed and followed her sister to the kitchen as she started pulling out various foods from the cabinets. Mukuro against her better judgement spoke up as she looked away from Junko, afraid to meet her gaze.

"Why do you want to switch? I thought -" Bubbles cut Mukuro off with a sweetly sick voice.

"Awww sis! Don't you think it's more fun this way? You'll get a change of pace and I get a chance to see Kirigi up close and personal 3 OOOO! So what's she like? You know the Ultimate Detective?" Junko asked, stuffing a few grapes into her mouth. Mukuro had her answer, Kyoko was the reason why her sister wanted to change the plans. It frustrated her to no end, she tried to please Junko bringing her nothing but loyalty, despair and devotion, but it wasn't enough. However, maybe she still had a chance to twist Junko's perspective on Kyoko.

"Kyoko's a detective at heart; quiet, perceptive and loyal. She's fond of Makoto but also has bouts of needing to be alone. She's just like me Junko except… even more boring." Mukuro stated hoping that maybe her sister could see once again that she was the only one for her. Junko finished off some crackers, shook off Bubbles and looked at her sister in disbelief. Then she slowly narrowed her eyes and hid part of her face behind her hand once more.

"You are a terrible liar. Comparing yourself, the Ultimate Smelly Soldier to the Ultimate Detective, one who cloaks herself in enigma and despair is laughable. So if you really think that lying to me is going to deter me from Kyoko, then you know NOTHING about me." Junko stated, rattling her sister. Mukuro always held onto the pride that she knew more about Junko than anybody so the statement cut her deep.

"I-I'm not trying- I'm just…" Mukuro stammered under her sister's mounting stare. Then Mukuro blurted out something that surprised even Junko.

"I want to be your only one! I-I want to bring you all the despair, destruction and murder that your heart desires. I want to be the one you need. Please." Mukuro said, ending on a desperate note that surprised even herself. She had never been this forward but the thought of losing her to Kyoko was driving her.

Junko looked at her sister's desperation behind her eyes and smiled deeply. Despair cloaked her sibling, creating a beautiful sight. Suddenly, Junko wasn't hungry for food but for something more sinful. Having her older sister around was very convenient when Junko's body radiated savage desire.

"You want to be the one I need?" Junko asked, lowering her hand as a rare thing occurred. Her 'Real' personality surfaced.

"Yes." Mukuro said tenderly as Junko brushed past her, roughly grabbing her arm, dragging her to Junko's bed. Once there Junko shoved Mukuro back and climbed on top of her with lust in her eyes. Looking down at her sister, Junko smirked.

"Then satisfy me."
