A/N: And here, Theodore also goes through some changes, but in his own way. :)
Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman
Chapter 9: Sudden Changes
Later, in the morning, Amy woke up in the bedroom with a yawn before not only noticing that, much to her surprise, her pajamas were in tatters, but also noticed that she was sleeping like a dog, which weirded her out.
"Well..., I guess I am a werewolf.", Amy spoke before standing up and heading over to her dresser and getting the clothes.
Meanwhile, Dave was serving up breakfast for the Chipmunks as Theodore went over to the table.
"Here you go, guys. Cereal, grapefruit, whole wheat toast...", Dave began as Theodore held the spoon and fork with his hands.
"Uh, can I have steak? Medium rare?", Theodore asked, puzzling Alvin.
"Heh. Pretty funny, Theodore.", Dave spoke as he handed the bowl of cereal to Theodore, who sniffed it, set the utensils down, and then pushed the bowl away before then going for the fridge.
"Yeah! Mincemeat.", Theodore spoke in awe before getting it and closing the fridge before then going back to the table, opening the jar, scooping up a piece of mincemeat with his finger and licking it, only to get a bad taste.
"Yuck! This is, like, raisins and stuff.", Theodore gagged.
"Well, yeah, it's just...", Dave began.
"Hey, Uncle Dave. Sorry I'm late.", Amy apologized, all dressed up for school.
"Actually, you're just in time. It's time to go, fellas.", Dave spoke before opening the door, carrying three colored lunch bags.
"Here you go, Simon. Alvin, no tomatoes. And Theodore, here...", Dave began as he handed each chipmunk their lunch bags.
"Steak sandwich?", Theodore asked.
"Theodore, you don't eat meat, remember?", Dave asked.
"I don't?", Theodore puzzled.
"No.", Dave responded before Theodore walked out.
"And do you need to take some breakfast on the way, Amy?", Dave asked.
"Sorry, Uncle Dave. Not this time. I'm a bit late as is. But thanks for asking, though.", Amy grinned before walking out as she closed the door.
"That's odd. I can understand her bringing her own lunch, but she never skips out on breakfast.", Dave pondered.
Meanwhile, Alvin spoke to Theodore.
"Come on, Teddy, old boy. Race you to school.", Alvin spoke before he ran and tagged Theodore.
"Tag! You're it!", Alvin shouted before Theodore smirked and then suddenly ran quickly, faster than ever before, and tagged Alvin, speeding ahead of him.
"Now, you're it!", Theodore spoke as he sped down along the sidewalk.
"That's it. If I can catch up like that, I might make it in time to get my own breakfast.", Amy realized before running just as fast, if not faster, as Theodore.
"Wait up, Theodore!", Amy shouted, stunting Alvin from the sight as the speed of the wind caused his cap to fall off before he picked it back up.
"Is that Amy and Theodore?", Alvin asked.
"Must be the mincemeat.", Simon guessed.
Later, at school, Mr. Rochelle had doubts about Theodore.
"No, I am serious, he is terrible, I tell you, he is...he's just terrible! There is not a scary bone in his body!", Mr. Rochelle complained.
"You're forgetting, we're doing this to improve his self-esteem.", Milliken reminded only for Mr. Rochelle to cry.
"Well, what about my self-esteem, sister?! My name is on this turkey, too! I will be the laughing stock of the elementary school theatrical director's bowling league, do you hear me?!", Mr. Rochelle shouted.
"Let's watch.", Milliken spoke as she only put her finger on the top of his nose and pushed him back toward the bottom of the next row of auditorium seats before he got back up.
"Then, we'll talk.", Milliken added.
"But...!", Mr. Rochelle began before Milliken shushed him just in time for the group to start rehearsing.
"No one must learn my horrible secret: that I, kind, beloved Dr. Henry Jekyll have perfected a formula which can turn me into the evil, cruel Mr. Hyde!", Simon shouted as Alvin copied his movements before Jeanette started the lighting for the effect before Alvin noticed a bit too late.
"Oops.", Alvin spoke before smacking his hammer on the metal board before Simon "convulsed".
"Oh, no! I'm changing!", Simon coughed before he went behind the table with Theodore jumping out from behind and laughing maniacally, frightening even Eleanor and Brittany.
"Go.", Brittany urged as she ushered Eleanor to the stage before she rehearsed her lines.
"Henry? Henry, are you hear?", Eleanor rehearsed before "gasping".
"Good heavens!", Eleanor spoke.
"Henry? No, my dear. I am not Henry. I am Edward Hyde!", Theodore rehearsed.
"What? I... I-I don't know you!", Eleanor exclaimed.
"No..., but you will, my dear. Gaze upon this face, for it is the face of evil!", Theodore rehearsed before laughing maniacally, scaring the heck out of Eleanor, Brittany, Alvin, and even Amy as she whimpered like a dog, puzzling her upon realization.
"Was that okay?", Theodore asked to Mr. Rochelle and Milliken, who the former was holding onto.
"Well, he...seems to be shaping up nicely.", Milliken spoke before Mr. Rochelle nodded.
"Hi, guys.", Theodore waved you Alvin and Brittany as he went back to the dressing room with Eleanor following before Brittany moved herself away from Alvin.
"Alvin, you are bending my twigs!", Brittany spoke.
"Oh, Theodore, that was...was incredible!", Eleanor grinned.
"Yeah. It even had me whimpering. I didn't think you had it in you.", Amy agreed.
"Gee. Thanks, Eleanor.", Theodore thanked as meanwhile, Nathan didn't like it one bit.
"Incredible, huh?", Nathan spoke before trying to trip him only for Theodore to jump, causing Nathan to trip himself with Amy, Eleanor, Jeanette, Alvin, and Brittany laughing while Theodore rushed over to him.
"Nathan! Are you okay?", Theodore asked.
"I guess so... I gotta admit, that was a nice move.", Nathan responded.
"Yeah, it was, wasn't it?", Theodore grinned.
Later, Theodore gave the good news to Dave.
"It was like that all day! I was the first one in my P.E. class to climb the rope, and then, I beat everybody in the sprint, and then, I...", Theodore began before Dave interrupted.
"Sounds like you had a great day.", Dave grinned.
"Yeah. I really did.", Theodore grinned.
"That's terrific, Theodore. I'm really proud of you.", Dave spoke while picking up Theodore and hugging him.
Later, Amy reported to Mr. Talbot at his house.
"So, you're saying that if you bite me during the next full moon in your werewolf state, the curse would rebound and change us both back?", Talbot asked.
"Yeah. That's what the computer said last night.", Amy responded.
"Very well. But knowing my werewolf side as well as I do, it won't be easy.", Talbot warned.
"Maybe not, but with any luck, I'll make sure it's done by the time the sun rises.", Amy assured.
"I should hope so, my dear. I should hope so.", Talbot sighed hopefully.
A/N: Looks like Amy has been visiting him more frequently since last night, and possibly for the better, too. :)
