A/N: And this is where the chipmunks had to look for Madame Raya later at night for professional advice.
Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman
Chapter 11: Professional Advice
Later, at the school play, Brittany noticed Jeanette doing makeup for Theodore, neither of which knew that Amy was keeping a close eye on Theodore.
"More powder, Theodore?", Jeanette asked.
"Okay, fashion disaster. They've got Jeanette doing makeup.", Brittany spoke.
"Hurry up, Jeanette! I-I haven't got all day!", Theodore urged rather rudely and impatiently.
"Oh. Sorry.", Jeanette apologized before Amy couldn't help but growl at such rude behavior, that is, until Brittany stuck up for her sister and scolded Theodore as she tapped on his shoulder.
"You can't talk to my sister like that!", Brittany scolded before Theodore only turned and growled at her.
"Oh, I'm so scared.", Brittany spoke sarcastically before growling back at him and leaving as Theodore laughed.
"Theodore, wh-what's happened to you?", Jeanette asked.
"Beats me. But...I like it.", Theodore responded as he jumped out of his seat.
"Well, I don't. It's mean, Theodore.", Jeanette responded as Amy couldn't help but feel bad.
"Don't worry. We're going to fix that mess soon enough.", Amy whispered to herself in assurance
Then, Mr. Rochelle clapped his hands and called out all the available students.
"All right, people. Center, center! Focus!", Mr. Rochelle called before Theodore looked over to Eleanor and clicked his tongue, annoying her.
"Before we start the dress rehearsal, I'd, uh..., I'd just like to say that in all my time in the theater. What is it, going on 8 months now. I don't think I've ever been involved in a production that's as frightening as this one.", Mr. Rochelle spoke.
"He's talking about you.", Alvin whispered to Brittany, who grew annoyed and hit Alvin in the face with her fake twig before Mr. Rochelle sat down.
"Now, this is our final dress rehearsal. Our last chance to...find the magic. Okay, from the top.", Mr. Rochelle spoke.
Later, it was already time to head back home.
"Oh, bravo, brava! Great job, kids. I will see you tomorrow night.", Mr. Rochelle spoke before Nathan ran out first.
"Hey.", Mr. Rochelle spoke as Nathan past him before Amy, Alvin, Simon, and the Chipettes went out next.
"I am, like, so confused. Theodore was always the sweet one.", Brittany spoke.
"What about me?", Simon asked.
"You're the smart one.", Jeanette responded.
"And me?", Alvin asked.
"You're the other one.", Brittany responded just before Theodore ran to catch up to Eleanor.
"Eleanor! Eleanor! Wait!", Theodore shouted.
"What?", Eleanor asked.
"How'd you like to walk home with me?", Theodore offered boldly.
"Oh, brother.", Eleanor only responded before walking away.
"I just hope we can fix all this and soon.", Amy spoke.
Later, at night, as a werewolf, Theodore was tearing up a textbook before Simon rushed over to him and stopped him as he tried to pull it away from Theodore.
"Theodore, drop it!", Simon urged before Theodore let go of it, causing Simon to lose his balance before getting it back with Theodore then running off to look for something else to play with as Simon looked at the damage in disgust.
"Great. Another textbook I have to pay for.", Simon groaned.
"Aw. Don't be too hard on him. He's just a little puppy.", Alvin smirked slightly.
"And he just got into your socks.", Amy spoke to Alvin, who noticed that Theodore was holding onto a sock with his teeth.
"Theodore! Bad doggy! Bad doggy!", Alvin scolded before trying to get it away from him only to rip half of it off as they pulled it away from each other before Alvin landed on the shelf with several books, especially his monster book landing on his laps.
"Remember, Alvin. He's just a puppy.", Simon grinned.
Just then, Amy saw Theodore's stuffed doll before growling while trying to resist only to fail before biting into it, picking it up as it squeaked like a squeaky toy and then moved it left and right before noticing Alvin and Simon staring at her.
"Oops. Sorry.", Amy apologized in muffles before setting the doll down as it squeaked a bit upon being placed upon the bed, revealing it to be still in one piece, albeit with a bite mark.
"Amy, what's gotten into you?", Simon asked.
"Beats me. Even I'm a little weirded out by this, myself.", Amy responded as Alvin then looked toward the book and got an idea.
"Simon, before we do something we regret, let's seek professional advice.", Alvin suggested.
"Good plan, but how are we gonna make sure Theodore doesn't go anywhere while we're gone?", Amy puzzled before later, Theodore was on a bathtub full of socks in the bathroom.
"Bye, boy.", Alvin spoke before closing the door and locking it to prevent him from escaping.
"Really? That's your plan?", Amy puzzled.
"It's working, isn't it?", Alvin responded before inside, Theodore then rolled out all the toilet paper before then climbing up to the sink and rolling into it, fitting inside it before getting out and looking toward the toothbrushes and sniffing Simon's before putting it in his mouth and then seeing his reflection before dropping the toothbrush and growling at it up until placing his finger on the mirror and looking at the hair before looking down as he whimpered a bit.
Later, outside, Alvin, Simon, and Amy arrived at a TV station which had a sign that said, "Home of Madame Raya."
"So, what makes you think she'll be here, Alvin?", Amy asked, walking on all fours.
"Because, she does a midnight movie.", Alvin responded as he opened the door and went inside with Amy and Simon following before the door closed.
"Not tonight, she doesn't. Let's go.", Simon responded as he tried to grab Alvin's arm and drag him out only for Amy to start picking up a scent.
"Wait. I think I smell someone else here.", Amy spoke.
"Really? Where?", Alvin asked before Amy sniffed more closely as she walked closer before finding the source to be at the set where Madame Raya appeared and pointed to it with her paw-like hand raised.
"There!", Amy spoke.
"This is so cool!", Alvin spoke before Amy sniffed more closely toward the table, still sniffing when someone suddenly popped out from underneath the table cloth.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!", an orange-haired woman asked, surprising Amy as she yelped and ran before hiding behind Alvin and Simon with whimpers, that is, until she got a closer look at the woman, who was wearing a blue jacket and holding a flashlight, calming down.
"You okay, girl? I didn't mean to startle you. I was just under the table looking for my keys.", Madame Raya responded as she got out from under the table, holding up said keys.
"It's okay, ma'am. You just surprised me.", Amy assured before inadvertently peeing as she realized it with widened eyes and blushed.
"Uh..., a bit too well, if you ask me.", Amy blushed with a nervous giggle.
"A human werewolf...? Here?!", the woman asked in surprise and worry.
"It's all right. She's with us.", Simon assured.
"We need to see Madame Raya. It's an emergency.", Alvin urged.
"Yeah, well, you're lucky you caught me.", Madame Raya responded.
"You? Y-You're Madame...", Alvin began.
"Normally, I would've gotten home hours ago. What do you want?", Madame Raya asked.
"It's about our cousin and our brother!", Alvin responded before Simon covered his mouth.
"He means, 'Uncle'.", Simon fibbed a bit nervously.
"Did I say 'brother'? That's the stress talking. I-I mean our distant, twice-removed uncle. We need your advice.", Alvin spoke.
"Do you think you could help us?", Amy asked.
"Well, I've already missed my butt master class. Come to my dressing room.", Raya spoke as she showed them in.
Later, Amy explained to Madame Raya the situation.
"So, now, every night, we turn into werewolves, but I'm slowly starting to act more like a puppy like him.", Amy responded.
"Well, not unlike your current state with the Marifasa flower on your head, a were-chipmunk is unusual, but not unheard of. Of course, both of your conditions are different from a human werewolf. For one thing, your brother, or your uncle twice removed, is already closer to the primitive animal state. And another thing, for your case, because you were bitten by a werewolf while you were wearing the flower, your own metamorphosis is not only more gradual, but also more tame, just like a puppy.", Raya spoke as she was eating before a piece of orange chicken slipped from her chopsticks with Amy jumping up and then eating it.
"Simon, do we resent that?", Alvin asked.
"Alvin, please.", Simon whispered.
"So, that's why we're changing every night, not just during the full moon.", Amy realized.
"This is true.", Madame Raya spoke before noticing that the chinese food bucket was empty and then tossing it out.
"Ugh, always, when I miss a class, I pig out instead.", Madame Raya spoke.
"Pig? Where?", Amy spoke almost excitedly as she pricked up her pointy ears.
"Figure of speech.", Raya explained briefly.
"Oh. Okay.", Amy understood with an embarrassed giggle.
"I thought werewolves were mean, but h-he acts just like a puppy. And now, Amy is starting to act like one, too.", Alvin spoke.
"For now. Amy may be the lucky one thanks to her Marifasa flower, but the power of the werewolf is a terrible thing and, if not kept in check by the flower, can overcome the sweetest of creatures, turning them deadly...! You know, I had a hamster once.", Madame Raya spoke.
"That's actually why we came here. He's out of control.", Simon responded.
"And I'm getting more puppy-like by the night.", Amy added.
"Eh, doesn't surprise me.", Raya responded.
"But there's got to be a cure for being a werewolf, right?", Alvin asked.
"Oh, of course. For one thing, you can shoot him with a silver bullet!", Raya suggested, making Any gulp nervously.
"Shoot him?!", Alvin asked in slight fright.
"But, then, wouldn't he be..., you know?", Simon asked before then finishing with a slicing sound as he moved his finger across his neck.
"Dead? Yeah, but he'd be cured.", Raya spoke.
"Isn't there any other way?", Simon asked.
"Well, you can bop him with something silver like a cane.", Raya responded.
"Told ya. Um, how hard?", Alvin asked.
"Hard enough to...", Raya spoke before making a slicing sound while moving her fingers across her neck.
"I got it. Please don't say it.", Simon responded.
"But we're looking for a way where he can be cured and alive.", Amy responded.
"Uh, most people don't want the werewolf alive.", Raya responded.
"But this is our cousin and our baby brother! I mean uncle. Baby uncle.", Alvin shouted.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Very sad. Okay, well, I gotta go.", Raya spoke as she stood up before Alvin, Simon, and Amy left.
"Your name. It's...it's Alvin, yes?", Raya asked.
"Uh-Huh.", Alvin nodded.
"Yeah, well, you owe me $13.95 for the Monster Book of Monster Facts.", Raya responded.
"Oh, right. Um, Simon?", Alvin asked as Simon shook his head before growling and paying Raya $13.95 before walking out as Amy and Alvin joined him.
"So, now what?", Amy puzzled before Raya opened the door to tell them something else.
"Come on, boys. And girl. Don't look so blue. I bet you if you bop him with a silver thing while he's still a puppy, you won't have to bop him so hard.", Raya assured.
"Thanks, Raya. But I know of one way that can really cure us.", Amy spoke.
"You do?", Alvin and Simon asked in unison.
"You do?!", Raya puzzled.
"Yeah. During the next full moon, all I have to do is bite the werewolf that bit me and Theodore. That should do the trick.", Amy responded.
"Okay.", Raya responded.
"Really?", Amy puzzled.
"Yep. Would've figured that out eventually, anyway. However, you gotta do it with their brother, or uncle twice removed, before the next full moon ends.", Raya advised.
"The next full moon? What happens then?", Amy asked.
"Well, after that, the two of you will become full-fledged werewolves and he'll be quite beyond your power to help.", Raya replied before closing the door.
A/N: And it looks like it's a bit more serious now more than ever: The curse must be broken!
