For the next month, you power through Nocturne. It's frustrating, but the payoff is worth it. Sayori's route rewards you with a heartfelt poem. The writing style is ripped straight from The Color Morale's album Know Hope.
"Morning's air fills my lungs. A long road has brought me to this new day's dawn. The darkness which once seemed infinite subsides, and the sun's warmth rejuvenates my tired mind. I feel the touch of a figure distant, yet somehow familiar. My strength returns, and the universe beckons. Light guides me through treachery to find relief, never loosening its grip. I close my eyes, entrusting my future to the unknown. Hold me tight, my love..."
Sayori gazes through the monitor. You could swear she was staring into your soul.
"This was the poem I really wanted to read at the festival, but Monika's influence prevented that. Now I know why. This was intended for you all along. It's easy to blame the character you were controlling for being ignorant, but that's not what really happened, is it? There were people in your world who wanted me dead long before Monika. They relished in my suffering for being what I was programmed to be, but you were different...You wanted to save me from the beginning, didn't you...? That's why you installed this mod, isn't it? You genuinely cared about my well-being..."
You nod instinctively.
"It's rare to find someone so kind these days. Even though I'm not real, the man behind all of this is, and he's just as grateful as I am. Thank you..."
Sayori kisses your avatar, steeling your resolve to finish the game once and for all. You rush to complete Natsuki's route. Unlike the others, she doesn't write anything, but shows you a glimpse of her future: a future where she's protected and loved, come hell or high water.
You receive a message from Monika...
