Episode 64: Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon
Hana and her friends arrive at Grandpa Canyon, a canyon that is heard to have fossilized Pokemon in the area. The reason why they're heading there, because they receive an invite from Hana's closest human friends. The gang soon stop to see a line of people carrying backpacks, pick axes, shovels, and other prospecting gears.
"I think we're at the right place," Hana says.
"Of course you are," A familiar voice says.
The group turns their heads to see Gary Oak wearing an outfit something out of an archaeological adventure movie.
"Hey Hana," Gary says.
"Hey Gary! Why are you dressed like that?" Hana replies.
"For the Great Fossil Rush of course," Gary says.
"Oh right," Hana says.
"Thank you for inviting us Gary," Chase says.
"No problem. I gotta find all the fossils quick before anyone else does!" Gary says.
"It sounds like fun," Hana says.
" I don't feel right about digging up old Pokemon fossils, especially after they've been resting in the earth for such a long time," Akira says.
"If they've been lying underground for thousands of years, maybe they'd like a little fresh air," Diana replies.
"I agree. And if I do find a Fossil, I'm going to get it restored on Cinnabar Island," Garry says.
"Cinnabar Island? Why there?" Hana asks.
"Grandpa told me a scientist over there has a machine that can restore Ancient Pokemon," Gary says.
"Really? So we can have an ancient Pokemon of our own. I think I like to meet it," Hana says.
But grows a little concerned, "But won't it be a problem for the Pokemon waking in a different time."
"Don't worry. It's why us trainers need to help them adapt and help them get familiar with the modern era," Gary says.
"Sure. Let's go," Hana says.
Soon, Hana and the others begin to search for fossils in Grandpa Canyon with the others, including Gary who is digging with excitement. Soon, he finds something at his digging sight.
"Success! My first Pokemon fossil!" Gary says, picking up his stone.
Soon, the lead paleontologist takes the rock and examines it.
"Impressive, isn't it? Found it on my first try. Looks like a brain from an extinct Pokemon," Gary says with confidence.
"This is.." The lead paleontologist says.
"A brain?" Gary guesses.
However, the lead paleontologist, "It's fossilized Pokemon manure."
Gary then falls over in disbelief. Hana and the others can't help but laugh. After the bit of laughter, they continue to search for any fossils. Gary decides to try again to find a fossil. Hana looks in the dirt and picks up something. She then notices another.
Hana turns to her friends, "Look guys, I found two fossils."
Diana and the others look to see the two fossils. One of them looks like it has a fin, while the other has some kind of long diamond shaped arrow, it looks like it's part of a tail.
Suddenly, Gary says, "Hey guys, I found one this time."
Hana and the others look over to see Garry's fossil. It's brown, round, and it's smooth on the top.
"Wow. you and Gary found fossils Hana," Diana says.
"I wonder what kind of fossils they are," Akira says.
Suddenly, he feels something tapping her leg. He looks down to see Winnie and Alistair, and Winnie has something in her paws. The thing she has looks like a smooth stone of a bright amber color.
"Hey you two, what you got there, Akira asks, kneeling towards them.
Winnie presents the stone and Akira takes it.
Suddenly, the lead paleontologist uses his magnifying glass and examines the fossils.
"Incredible. These are genuine fossils you have dug up, but not just any. Young man, you have found a skull fossil. And young lady, you have discovered a Sail Fossil and a Plume Fossil," The lead paleontologist says.
"A Sail Fossil? A Plume Fossil? And a Skull Fossil?" Hana says, confused.
"That's great. It means I got a Fossil of a Cranidos that are originally from the Sinnoh Region. And Hana, you got a fossil of an Amaura, a Pokemon from the Kalos Region, and a fossil of an Archen, a Pokemon from the Unova Region," Hana says.
"Neat. So now we both got fossils," Hana says.
Then she and Gary put their fossil in their backpack for safe keeping.
Akira then walks to the archaeologist, "Excuse me sir, you know what this is. My little ones found it."
Alistair and Winnie smile in reply.
The archaeologist looks at it and says in amazement, "This is an Old Amber. They say that inside the amber is D.N.A of Aerodactyl, a prehistoric flying Pokemon."
"Wow. that's amazing," Akira says.
He kneels to Winnie and Alistair, "Good job you two."
The two little Pokemon reply with their cries. The group soon look to see everyone has been digging for fossils, excluding Gary, Hana, and Akira, no one has found one.
"Looks like we're the only ones who found fossils," Gary says.
"It appears so, but if this is supposed to be the great Fossil Rush, there should be more," Hana says.
"Makes me wonder if this Great Fossil Rush is really for real," Chase adds.
Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "What's taking those two so long?"
Everyone turns their heads and to Hana and her friends' shock, they see Meowth.
Meowth says, "Humans. The only thing you can depend on is they're always undependable.
Soon, Jessie and James pop out of the rock and do their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble!
James:
Yes, and make it double!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to..
But before they can finish, Meowth uses a mallet to smack his teammates on the head, "Cut the poetry! I bet you two clowns didn't even plant the dynamite like you were supposed to!
Jessie takes the hammer and smacks him back, "Wrong again, fur ball!"
Meowth slams into the wall and falls to the ground. Then rocks fall right on top of him with his face down.
"Of course we planted the dynamite!" Jessie says.
"Once we blast Grandpa Canyon to smithereens, we'll be able to scoop up all those Poke fossils!" James says.
Meowth breaks out of the rocks in anger, "Next time, I'll make fossils outta you!"
Unknown to Team Rocket, Hana, Gary, and the others heard everything.
"Did you hear that?! They're gonna blow up this whole canyon!" Diana says, shocked.
"All the people who are digging here are gonna get caught in the blast!" Akira says.
"They'll be buried alive if we don't do something," Chase says.
Hana turns to the others, "Pikachu and I will stop em! You guys spread the word to run for it, there's no time to lose!"
"I'll go with you, Hana," Gary says.
"Thanks Gary," Hana says.
Hana, Gary, and Pikachu hurry to stop Team Rocket while Diana and the boys hurry to warn everyone in the canyon. Meanwhile, Meowth prepares to light up the fuse.
Meowth laughs, "Pretty soon, we'll have all the Pokemon fossils to ourselves."
Just then, Hana and the others arrive on the scene.
Hana shouts, "Hold it right there!"
Team Rocket turns their heads to see Hana and the others.
"Oh, it's that pest again!" James says.
"Always messing up our plans!" Jessie says.
Then Meowth says, "But this time, you're too late. The fuse is already lit."
"We gotta stop em! Squirtle, I choose you!" Hana says, and throws her Pokeball.
Then Squirtle comes out of the Pokeball.
Gary throws his Pokeball, "Poliwag, go!"
With that, Poliwag comes out of the Pokeball.
"Quick, use Water Gun," Hana says.
"We need to put out the fuse," Gary says.
Squirtle and Poliwag begin to chase the fuse to put it out. However, Team Rocket releases their Pokemon and chases after them to prevent them from stopping the fuse. Hana, Gary, Pikachu, Squirtle, and Poliwag hurry down the mountain to stop the fuse, but Team Rocket is behind them to stop them.
"Weezing, Sludge attack, now!" James calls out.
Before Weezing can do the attack, James trips on a rock and bumps into the rest of the team. Soon, they are rolling down like a ball.
"We're not gonna get it!" Hana panics.
Suddenly, they hear a sound and turn to see the ball of Team Rocket rolling to them.
Gary shouts, "Look out!"
Hana and the Pokemon panic as they are caught in the collision and roll down like a ball. They soon fly over the cliff and land on the ground to where the Dynamite is. In fact, there are a lot of them, but by the time they notice, the bomb goes off and creates a massive explosion. Soon, the rocks begin to break apart from underneath them, sending them down underground. Hana and Gary quickly call back Squirtle and Poliwag to their Pokeballs and Hana grabs hold of Pikachu. Soon, the rocks from the canyon collapsed and covered the hole where they had fallen. At the same time, Diana and the others hurry to see the disaster Team Rocket caused.
"Hana!" Akira cries out.
"Pikachu!" Diana panics.
"Gary!" Chase calls out.
They stop to see the mess of the stone covering the whole.
"What a disaster!" Gary says.
"We gotta get them out!" Diana says.
The boys agree and all three begin to dig through the rocks. Sadly, the rocks collapsed. It shows me more stone. Meanwhile, down underground, Hana, Pikachu, and Gary are laying on the ground with Team Rocket, unconscious. Soon, they begin to wake up.
James looks around and asks, "Where are we?"
"Looks like we got blown all the way to the moon," Jessie says, looking around the surrounding.
"Or down to the center of the Earth," Meowth says.
The rest of Team Rocket look at Meowth.
"This is a cave. The dynamite must've blown a hole in the roof and we fell in. We must be buried deep under the Earth's crust," Meowth says.
"Buried?!" Jessie and James panic.
Jessie glares at Hana and Gary, "This is all your fault, you two twerps!
"If you hadn't tried to put out that fuse, we never would've fallen down here!" James says.
"Hey, you crooks are the ones who planted all that dynamite up there in the first place!" Gary says.
"You three must be crazy!" Hana adds.
"Pikachu!" (Hana's right!) Pikachu says.
But Meowth says, "What difference does it make who got us down here?! All that matters is getting outta here in one piece!"
Then points up, "Look up there!"
Everyone looks up in shock to see the rocks are blocking the only way out.
"The roof of the cave is blocked!" Gary says.
Soon James crosses his arms with a calm smile on his face.
Jessie happily says, "James, it sounds like you got an answer to our problem!"
"Hmm? We're all doomed," James remarks.
Jessie then hits him on the head, "That's not the answer I wanted to hear!"
"There must be some way out," Hana says.
"Chu." (Yeah.) Pikachu says.
Suddenly, Hana and Pikachu hear something.
Gary turns to them, "What is it?"
"Pikachu and I heard something," Hana says.
Pikachu points ahead, "Pika Pika!" (Over there!)
Soon, multiple pairs of red eyes appear in the dark caves. Jessie and James panic.
"I don't think we're in here alone," Jessie says.
"What are they?" Hana asks.
Stepping out of the darkness are four Pokemon.
The first is a small Pokémon similar to an ammonite. It has a sky blue body with ten tentacles and a pale yellow, helix-spiraled shell on its back. The shell's rim has two circular indents where its large saucer-like eyes protrude.
The second looks a lot like the smaller one. It's a Pokémon similar to an ammonite. Its sky blue body has several tentacles; the tentacles toward the front are shorter and thicker than those in the back. There is a pale yellow, helix spiral shell on its back. Several sharp spikes line the shell's midsection from the front to about halfway down its back. The shell's rim has two circular indents where it's eyes are visible. Its eyes have yellow sclera and vertically-slit pupils. It has an oval mouth with a four-sectioned, fang-like beak.
Another pair is different. The first is a small Pokémon resembling a horseshoe crab. It is mostly flat with a protective, brown shell covering its body. There are two small, black eyes on top of its shell, which it uses for sight when it hides on the ocean floor. Underneath the shell is a black space that hides the structure of its main body. Only its four short, yellow legs and a second pair of luminescent red eyes are visible on its underside.
The second is larger than the rest. It's a small Pokémon resembling a horseshoe crab.
The Pokemon stares at them and there's a lot of them.
"Let's see," Hana says, taking out her Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Omanyte and Omastar. Kabuto and Kabutops. It is believed that these Pokemon became extinct tens of thousands of years ago. The details of their behavior is shrouded in mystery, though some have been found alive in different areas in different regions around the world, few humans have ever seen them alive."
"I'll take a look too," Gary says and takes out his Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Omanyte, the Spiral Pokemon. Believed to have lived over 2 billion years ago, recent research indicates that it was able to control its buoyancy by storing and releasing air in its shell. Omastar, the Spiral Pokemon, the evolved form of Omanyte. This extinct Pokémon is believed to have used its sharp fangs to break through the shells of its prey in order to feed. Kabuto, the Shellfish Pokemon. Though this Pokémon is now believed to be extinct, it had a hard shell that protected its body and is believed to have been a powerful swimmer. Kabutops, the Shellfish Pokemon, and the evolved form of Kabuto. Before it went extinct, Kabutops was in the process of evolving into a land dweller as evident by changes in its gills and legs. This change is thought to be due to its prey moving onto land as well. In its ocean home Kabutops could tuck up its limbs to help it swim extremely fast, up to roughly 29 knots. It used its sharp scythes to slice enemies and drink their internal fluids."
Soon, Jessie and James begin to cheer.
James happily says, "We're gonna be rich! We'll open a prehistoric Pokemon park that'll be bigger than Pokeworld!"
"Even the boss will be impressed with us!" Jessie adds with a smile.
Meowth happily sighs, "I could get my own talk show, or even my own cartoon!"
However, Hana, Gary, and Pikachu notice something wrong.
"Those Pokemon don't seem as happy about this as you guys do. Just look at those eyes! These Pokemon seem really angry," Hana says.
Jessie notices it too, "They do look like they just woke up. Maybe these Pokemon weren't fossilized, but were just sleeping."
"That's it! The dynamite must've woken them up after thousands of years!" James says.
Meowth panics, "Some alarm clock!"
"And I don't think they seem to like having visitors here," Gary adds.
Suddenly, Jessie says, "Never mind! Let's just capture them!"
Then both she and James throw their Pokeballs, "Pokeball, go!"
But Kabutops sends the Pokeballs back and they smack Meowth in the face and stomach. Soon, the ancient Pokemon begins to charge at them.
"There's no place to run!" Meowth panics.
"Then we have to battle!" Hana says.
Then throws her Pokeball calling out, "Lucario. Charmeleon. Go!"
Soon, Charmeleon and Lucario come out of their Pokeball.
"I'll help out. Wartortle. Nidorino." Gary says, and releases his Pokemon.
Hana calls out, "Charmeleon, use your Flamethrower to stop them!"
Charmeleon then uses Flamethrower at them, causing the Pokemon to step back, but Kabutops begins to slice the fire. Then charges to attack.
Lucario steps forward and stops it in its tracks, "I'll make sure to take care of them."
"Be careful Lucario. You need to use Bone Rush," Hana says.
Gary calls out, "Wartortle, use Rapid Spin. Nidorino, furry attack!" Gary calls out.
With that, some of the prehistoric Pokemon begin to battle Hana and Gary along with their Pokemon, while some of the others chase Team Rocket. Hana and Gary call their attacks to
Meanwhile, on the surface, Diana and the others find Officer Jenny and ask for help.
"Team Rocket blew up the canyon with dynamite!" Diana says.
"Hana and Gary must be trapped down under these boulders! You gotta help us!" Chase says.
"The bulldozers can't make it down here. We'll have to dig by hand. I'll go and get some help," Officer Jenny says, and runs off to get help.
Akira says, "Then we better get started.
Diana, Chase, and Akira call out some of their Pokemon and they begin to help them move the rocks. Even Alistair, Winnie, and Shippo are helping them out.
Meanwhile, Arbok and Weezing are running away from a bunch of Omanyte, Omastar, and Kabuto, to Team Rocket's embarrassment and annoyance.
"Arbok, Weezing, what are you doing?! Why are you running away from them?!" Jessie scolds.
"You have to chase them!" James says.
However, both poison Pokemon are being attacked by the prehistoric Pokemon. Meanwhile, Hana and Gary are still in a battle against the Pokemon.
Hana calls out, "Now Charmeleon, use Mega Punch!"
"Wartortle, use Aqua Tail!" Gary calls out.
Both Pokemon then use their attack on an Omanyte and a Kabuto. Soon, the two are knocked out.
Hana and Gary throw their Pokeballs, "Pokeball! Go!"
Hana's Pokeball hit Omanyte and Gary's hit Kabuto. Soon, both Pokemon are inside. With a small shake, the Pokeballs click and they're both inside.
"We did it," Hana cheers, and picks up her Pokeball.
"We caught Omanyte and Kabuto," Gary says, doing the same.
The group turns to see that the two Kabutops are charging right towards them.
"But it looks like there's more of them coming," Gary says.
Hana town has an idea and brings out a leaf, "Maybe the leaf whistle will work. After all, they're mostly cranky for being woken up."
"It's worth a try," Hana says.
Hana then begins to play the song, Oracion on the leaf whistle. As the Pokemon hears the song, they begin to calm down. They even leave Arbok and Weezing and head towards Hana as they play. The Pokemon simply stare at her as they begin to feel at ease. They finally calm down after their rude awakening. Hana stops playing the song to see the Pokemon has calmed down.
Jessie happily says, "A miracle! This is a miracle!"
"We're alive!" James says.
Hana walks to the Pokemon, "Um, we're sorry that you were woken up like that. We promise to make sure you're not disturbed, but we kind of need some help getting out. Can you help us?"
The Pokemon look at each other, thinking if they should help. Suddenly, they sense something in the air that is making them uneasy. They all communicate and they hurry away from the area as fast as they can.
"What was that about?" Gary asks.
"I think they're not the only ones living in this cave," Hana suspects.
Suddenly Meowth hears something, "Oh no, I think the twerpette is right. I hear something else!"
Everyone grows concerned to hear something coming to their view. Whatever it is, it flies fast and then lands on a large rock. The thing is a reptilian, bipedal Pokémon with large, membranous wings. It has small, sharply pointed ears, narrow eyes, a ridged snout with a gaping mouth, and a strong lower jaw full of serrated fangs. Its body is covered in light purplish gray skin with violet wing membranes. It's wings consist of a membrane running from the side of the body to the tip of an elongated finger. The clawed hands at the end of each wing allow it to grasp objects. There is a hump-like ridge with a single spike on its back and it has a strong tail with an arrow-shaped tip. Its talon-like feet have two toes in front and one in the back and are capable of scooping up and tightly clutching its prey in flight.
Hana brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says, "Aerodactyl, an extinct flying Pokemon. It's hard fangs suggest it was a carnivore. Its sharp claws were probably used to capture prey."
"Did Dexter just say that Aerodactyl might be a.." Gary asks, looking pale.
Hana says, frightened, "Carnivore?!"
Soon, James panics, "That means it thinks we're dinner!"
"That must be why the others ran away," Jessie panics.
"I hope it don't like cat food!" Meowth screams.
Soon, Aerodactyl flies down towards them. Everyone becomes terrified and begins to run away in fear. Garry quickly calls back his Pokeball into their Pokeball.
Hana calls out, "Charmeleon, use Flamethrower!"
Charmeleon uses the attack, but the flying Pokemon dodges and attacks Charmeleon.
"Charmeleon!" Hana cries out.
Suddenly, they notice some of the rubble coming down and they look up the roof.
Suddenly, they hear Chase's voice, "Hana."
Then Akira's voice, "Gary!"
"Hey, guys!" Diana's voice follows.
"Get us out of here! And hurry!" Hana cries out.
Just then, Aerodactyl begins to fly down towards them. Realizing trouble, Hana pushes Pikachu and Gary out of the way, but the prehistoric Pokemon grabs her and carries her to the surface.
"Hana!" Gary cries out.
Charmeleon, Lucario, and Pikachu are shocked and hurry after her with Gary.
Everyone, excluding Team Rocket grab Aerodactyl by the tail and they are being carried to the opening. Outside of the cave, seeing the rocks collapsing, everyone hurry out of the way. Everyone who attends the digging comes to the blockage to see Aerodactyl flying into the air with Hana trapped in it's talon. Gary, and the Pokmeon fall off after the flight out and land in front of Diana and the others.
Akira notices, "Gary! Lucario!"
Daina says, "Pikachu!"
"Guys, where did Hana go?" Chase asks.
Lucario stands up and answers, "She's been abducted by that Aerodactyl."
Everyone looks up and to their shock, they see Aerodactyl landing on the rock with Hana trapped. Hana feels that she is on the ground, but she is still caught by the giant Pokemon. Hana tries to break free from Aerodactyl's grip, but the Pokemon squeezes its talon on Hana to prevent her from moving. Hana grits her teeth as she feels the sharp talon on her and tears are beginning to come down her face. Hana then hears the Pokemon's cry and slowly turns her head and opens her eye to see the Pokemon is preparing to have her for lunch. Hana is so scared that she screams in deep fear.
Hearing the scream ends up catching everyone's attention, especially Charmeleon. He becomes stunned to see Hana in so much pain and in deep trouble, especially everyone she has done for it. From the day he has been abandoned and Hana takes Charmander in, to now. He is so angry that the Pokemon attempts to hurt his trainers that Charmeleon is unable to stand it anymore.
With a battle cry, Charmeleon begins to glow. Everyone becomes shocked to see Charmeleon is glowing and is growing large in size and even growing wings. When the light disappears, Charmeleon has evolved.
Now it's a draconic, bipedal Pokémon. It is primarily orange with a cream underside from the chest to the tip of its tail. It has a long neck, small blue eyes, slightly raised nostrils, and two horn-like structures protruding from the back of its rectangular head. There are two fangs visible in the upper jaw when its mouth is closed. Two large wings with blue-green undersides sprout from its back, and a horn-like appendage juts out from the third joint of each wing. A single wing-finger is visible through the center of each wing membrane. It's arms are short and skinny compared to its robust belly, and each limb has three white claws. It has stocky legs with cream-colored soles on each of its plantigrade feet. The tip of its long, tapering tail burns with a sizable flame.
The Pokemon roars and breathes fire.
"Whoa! Charizard!" Gary says, surprised.
"Amazing!" Diana says.
"It evolved into Charizard!" Chase says.
Diana takes out her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Charizard, the Flame Pokémon. A Fire and Flying type, and the evolved form of Charmeleon. Charizard's tail flame burns more intensely when expelling blasts of fire. When angry, the flame on its tail flares up in a whitish-blue color."
Charazard takes to the skies as he roars, "Roooawwrr!" (I'm coming!)
Aerodactyl looks down to Hana and reaches down with it's open jaw, preparing to eat her. Hana becomes scared that she is petrified. Suddenly, Aerodactyl stops and looks to see Charizard coming to the rescue. Hana looks at the Pokemon carefully and realizes that it is her Charmeleon that has evolved.
Hana reaches her hand out and cries out, "Charizard!"
Aerodacytl then carries Hana away as Charizard gives chase. Charizard continues to chase after Aerodactyl to rescue his trainer. Charizard's wings soon begin to glow and swing them as sharp glowing disks fly towards Aerodactyl, but it dodges out of the way. Seeing this become a shock to Diana and the others.
"That's Air Slash!" Chase says.
"Charizard learned a new move," Diana says.
Charizard then uses Air Slash again, and it's a direct hit on Aerodactyl's back, making it drop Hana. The group gasps to see Hana falling, but becomes relieved when Charizard catches her in the nick of time.
Hana opens her eyes and looks up to see Charizard holding her, "So it's true… you evolved."
"Roooawwrr," (I sure did.) Charizard says.
Hana hugs Charizard with glee. Then hears Aerodactyl's screech and turns to see it flying towards them.
Hana turns to Charizard, "Hey Charizard, let's say we have a battle against that Pokemon."
With a smirk, Charizard says, "Growl growl." (I thought you'd never ask.)
Hana climbs on to Charizard's back, "Let's do it, Charizard!"
Charizard roars and flies after the Prehistoric Pokemon.
Hana calls out, "Charizard, use Flamethrower!"
Charizard then uses Flamethrower, but Aerodactyl dodges the attack.
"Now, use Air Slash," Hana calls out.
Charizard then uses the attack and gives Aerodactyl a direct hit. Then Charizard performs another move and releases a blue powerful attack that doesn't look like normal fire and hits Aerodactyl with full force.
"That was Dragon Breath," Hana says.
The Hana calls out, "Air Slash!"
Charizard then performs the attack and it strikes at Aerodactyl, and Aerodactyl is knocked out. Hana then throws her Pokeball and it taps on the Pokemon. Then it goes inside. Hana catches the Pokeball and it shakes for a few minutes. Then with a click, Hana has caught the Pokemon. Charizard then lands on the ground and helps Hana down.
Hana hugs Charizard and says, "You were fantastic, Charizard. I'm so proud of you."
Charizard growls and shows his affection to Hana by licking her cheek. Suddenly, Hana looks down to notice an egg with blue and red triangles. Hana picks it up to see a Pokemon Egg.
Hana turns to Charizard, "Let's take this with us."
Charizard nods his head.
Hana takes out her Pokeball, "Just one more thing we need to do?"
She tosses her Pokeball and Aerodactyl comes out of the Pokeball and cries out. Hana then plays her leaf whistle and the Prehistoric flying Pokemon begins to calm down. Hana reaches her hand out and gently pets Aerodactyl on its snout. Aerodactyl shows a smile and is calm.
Hana says, "There you go. You must have been disturbed like the rest of the Pokemon. Don't worry, I promise to take good care of you."
Aerodactyl smiles with a nod, then sternly glares at Charizard. Charizard does the same. Then, they both reach their arm/wing out and they both shake on it. Hana smiles to see the two flying Pokemon earn each other's respect. Looks like they'll become good friends, or even sparring partners. Hana then steps her foot on the ground to feel something. Hana looks down and removes her foot to notice something on the ground. She picks it up to see what looks like a round orb. It's a beautiful blue color with blue and blue swirls on the inside. Charizard looks at it and it reacts to him with contact. Hana decides to keep the rock and puts it in her bag. Hana feels a sharp pain on her stomach. Charizard holds her so she doesn't have to walk.
After the incident, everyone gathers around to see Officer Jenny making an announcement.
Officer Jenny says, "Attention everyone! Due to the incident of the Aerodactyl and cave collapses caused by Team Rocket along with further cave collapses, no more digging will be permitted here! Those who have already found fossils are yours to keep aren't allowed to reveal where the fossils come from!"
Everyone soon decides to leave the area, Hana and her friends along with Gary remain behind.
Jenny says, "Hana. Gary. Akira. Since you three, two have found the fossils before the incident, and Pokemon, they are yours to keep. However, after getting the Fossil Pokemon resurrected, you must never reveal where you obtained them or the Pokemon you caught."
"We promise," Hana says.
Jenny says to Hana, "I'll drive you and your friends to the hospital. You need to have your body examined for any damages."
"Okay," Hana says.
Soon, Hana and her friends are in the van Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy are in.
"It's amazing that Charizard has evolved. He really saved the day," Diana says.
"Yeah. And that you caught Aerodactyl too," Chase says.
"It's a rare opportunity you and Gary have for catching prehistoric Pokemon. Plus, Gary told us how you also caught Omanyte and he caught Kabuto," Diana says.
"And I think the rest of the Pokemon are happy to get some sleep," Akira says.
"You're right," Hana says.
Then remembers and takes out the egg and stone, "By the way, I found these when I woke up."
"It's a Pokemon Egg," Diana says.
"And is that a Mega Stone?" Gary asks, surprised.
"Yeah. I guess. It reacted when Charizard touched it," Hana says.
Akira looks at it, "It's no wonder. That stone is a Charizardite X. It could allow Charizard to Mega Evolve."
"Neat. I'm sure Charizard will like to do that," Hana says.
Then passes the egg to Diana, "Here Diana."
"For me? Are you sure?" Diana asks.
"Yeah. I already raised a few eggs. Plus, I ended up catching two Prehistoric Pokemon, two Fossils, and Charizard has finally evolved," Hana says.
"So have I, and I ended up getting a fossil too," Akira says.
"And I have experiences at my family's place," Chase says.
Diana takes the egg and says, "Thank you Hana. I promise to take good care of it."
"You're welcome… now I'm… feeling a bit tired…" Hana says, and soon falls asleep while leaning against Gary's shoulder.
As the sun begins to go down, the others soon begin to fall asleep after the day they have. Hana and Gary have found Pokemon fossils and catch Prehistoric Pokemon. Hana has given Diana a Pokemon Egg and has found a Charizardite X Mega Stone for Charizard. They all begin to sleep as Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy take our heroes to the hospital. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is still stuck underground with the rest of the prehistoric Pokemom. As the journey continues.
