On Today's Episode: The spies continue their pursuit of James and Jazz Hands, eager to drill it in that Sam is off the market however they have to. But as the heated battle continues, something strange starts to happen. As in, the two villains can't seem to agree on who they think Sam belongs with, and they start arguing about it. Could this petty dispute be the opening the spies need to trounce the two villains?

Episode 2: Revenge of the Evil Boyfriend

Klee glanced back at Sam and Britney, who seemed to silently communicating with each other about something in particular.

"Hey," Klee stated. "What's up?"

"Oh, sorry about that, Klee," Sam quipped. "Britney and I were just thinking about something we could do for Mat when this mission's over."

"You two really love him, don't you?" Klee asked.

"Oh, absolutely," Sam giggled. "He's just an amazing boyfriend..."

"He was there for me when I had my heart broken," Britney replied. "How could I not fall in love with him after that?"

"If I remember correctly, that's pretty much exactly how May felt," Klee answered. "Can I join in on the brainstorming?"

"Oh, of course, Klee!" Sam proclaimed.

Nick couldn't help but smile at the exchange, deciding to keep a lid on that knowledge until Sam and Britney were ready.

They're really lucky to have a guy that loves them, Nick thought. That's most likely how Alex and May feel about me, too.

"Hey, target sighted!" May shouted as she pointed ahead of them, towards the two villains they were searching for. Nick fired a psychic bolt at the ground ahead of them to get their attention.

"Well, well, look at who we found wandering the streets without an adult," Haruka taunted.

"Oh, very clever, little girl," Jazz Hands retorted. "What, did you get that from clown college?"

"Better insults, mime boy," Nick stated.

"You've got some nerve going after my man just to spite me, you know," Sam growled, ready to attack again. "You wanna explain your motives before we send you back to containment?"

"I wouldn't bother with reasons, Sammy," May quipped, summoning her anchor to her hands. "Our rogues' gallery never make sense when it comes to their motivations."

"...okay, point," Sam conceded.

"You don't really need to know our motives, anyways," James cackled. "Just know that you'll be mine when we're through, Sam."

For whatever reason, Jazz Hands seemed to take some offense to that statement. "I think you mean she'll be mine," Jazz Hands countered.

"Um, in case you missed it when you picked me to help you, I've known her for a lot longer than you have," James proclaimed. "She rightfully belongs to me."

"I actually took her out on a real date," Jazz Hands shot back.

"So did I!" James shouted.

"...do I detect an opening?" Nick quipped.

"I think so, too!" Klee exclaimed. "Let's get 'em while they're arguing."

"Best idea I've heard all day," Sam stated as the spies prepared to strike.

"My plan was to have her bring back her life as a criminal, you idiot!" Jazz Hands proclaimed.

"And what was I brought along for?!" James retorted.

Jazz Hands didn't get a chance to answer because May used her trusty anchor and threw it. The anchor hit Jazz Hands around the chest area, and that caught James' attention himself. He then realized that his petty argument with Jazz Hands opened a door for the spy team to pummel them both.

"You're all ours!" Mat exclaimed.

What James didn't know was that in Jazz Hands' mind, he'd have Sam bring back her Miss Spirit Fingers persona, and James could have her, too on the side if they were successful.

"And your chances of succeeding are slim to none!" Nick proclaimed, getting his psychic powers fired up.

"And it stands to reason that you haven't gotten it through your thick skull that Sam DOESN'T want you back!" Haruka exclaimed at James.

The spies still used the two villains' petty argument to their advantage.

"She's mine, you brats! Stop interfering!" James exclaimed as he charged towards Haruka to hopefully punch her in the face, only for Haruka to catch James' fist with her own.

"Well, we're back here again, huh?" Haruka taunted before yanking James forward and slugging him in the face, then kicking him in the chest. "Maybe learn some moves next time!"

While James was stumbling, Klee made her own move, ducking under James' flying kick to grab him and toss him into the air, then leap after him to drive a foot into his chest and send him crashing to the ground.

"Eat that, punk!" Klee shouted.

Meanwhile, Jazz Hands was dodging psychic bolts from Nick as best he could.

"That's right," Nick taunted. "Dance, my little puppet, DANCE!"

Alex couldn't help but giggle at the call-back to her water hose battle earlier.

Finally, both James and Jazz Hands had enough.

"No more jacking around here!" Jazz Hands exclaimed.

More henchmen Jazz Hands recruited came into view and created numerous invisible walls using mime powers, and yet again, they centered around Mat. He didn't realize it until he ran into one of the invisible walls and fell on his backside.

"Not again?!" Mat chastised.

Britney was the first to overhear this, and she saw Mat trapped as if he were in a jumbo-sized Chinese take-out box.

"Let me try something!" Britney proclaimed and used her Laser Lipstick.

It did no good for either Mat nor Britney. Sam looked and saw this, too.

"I'll get you out, Mat-honey," Sam proclaimed, but Britney stopped her when Sam got her Laser Lipstick out.

"I tried that already," Britney told her.

"Maybe this might work," Sam replied, doing some quick thinking.

She used the multi-purpose charm bracelet to get the Dynamite on a Stick and placed it near Mat. There was an explosion, and Mat was unhurt or covered in soot or dirt... but it did no good to get him free.

"No luck!" Sam chastised.

Nick overheard this and tried to use his psychic powers to free Mat again. Again, no damage done.

"Don't bother there," Jazz Hands cackled. "We've got your boy toy right where we want him after all..."

The army of henchmen started going after Nick and the others.

"I still don't get why he's still going after Mat..." May remarked.

"That's for you to find out, after all," James sneered as he eyed Sam again.

"Get your butt-ugly self away from me!" Sam demanded.

"Try us," James sneered.

"Don't mind if we do!" Klee remarked, lunging forward to headbutt James in the chest while Nick threw his hands out to unleash a psychic pulse that blew the mime henchmen backwards.

Nick quickly took off into the air and fired off a Final Shine Attack to keep Jazz Hands busy while the other spies moved in to attack.

"Hey, what's that up there?!" Blaine exclaimed seeing an invisible plane above them that was piloted by some of Jazz Hands' henchmen.

"They're flying off with Mat again!" Clover exclaimed as they saw Mat in the invisible crate and getting away from the spy team.

"Can't he get out?!" Alex proclaimed.

"We tried – no dice," Nick replied.

Sam and Britney nodded in confirmation.

"You know the only way to get your little boy toy back," Jazz Hands taunted again down at Sam.

Nick fired a psychic shot at James and Jazz Hands, but it didn't help Mat's cause at all.

"Damn!" Haruka swore. "They got Mat again!"

"Well, no matter what, they crossed a line again," Sam remarked with a toad-like expression on her face.

"No doubt," Klee replied. "That's two times too many that they captured one of us!"

"So, what now?" Bridget wondered.

"And more importantly, WHERE are we to go now?" Nozomi added.

"Let's just take a look at the ol' tracker," Haruka quipped as she opened her X-Powder to track the villains. "It looks like they're making a break for East Beverly."

"Well, let's get going, then!" Britney proclaimed. "Sam and I have a boyfriend to save!"

"You're damn right, Brit," Sam responded. "Those two jerks are going to pay dearly for taking our man from us."

Sam and Britney joined hands as the spies set out to find Jazz Hands' latest lair. They weren't going to let anything keep them away from the man they loved.

6:15 P.M. – Eastern Beverly Hills

"Is this the place, Haruka?" Sam asked after a few more minutes of travel.

"Yeah, the beeper's going crazy," Haruka stated, moving her X-Powder around to find exactly where they needed to go. "The entrance to their secret lair should be around here somewhere..."

After a few more seconds of searching, Nick eventually found a suspicious-looking landmark and gently moved it aside with his psychic hold to reveal a downward-sloping tunnel.

"Well, I think we've officially hit paydirt," Nick quipped. "Let's head down there and see what they've got waiting for us."

The spies quickly jumped down the tunnel into what appeared to be the bad guy's secret lair.

"Okay, this is... not what I was expecting," May admitted.

The passage ahead appeared to resemble a laboratory crossed with a sewer and a toxic waste disposal facility.

"Yeah, this is very out of place," Nick proclaimed.

"Yeah, you'd think it'd be a circus or a mime place," Bridget quipped. "Maybe they're running out of ideas?"

"Whatever the case, let's start moving through this place," Britney stated. "I don't want to know what those bastards are doing to Mat."

As the spies continued through the "Toxic Tunnels", as May had called them, Sam and Britney continued to silently communicate on their plan to surprise Mat once the mission was over.

"Hey, watch out!" Haruka exclaimed.

It turned out that one of the canisters just above the spies had tipped over and attempted to spill a deluge of toxic waste on them.

Nick quickly raised his hands to encase the entire group in a psychic bubble that protected them from the green slime, causing it to harmlessly slide off the barrier and into the area below them.

"Oof, thanks, Nick," Nozomi stated. "I did not want to turn into a strange super-mutant."

Just then, a few large laser cannons unfolded from the nearby walls and took aim at the spies, only for both Melissa and Dawn to fire Wind Tunnel 9000 blasts at the cannons, instantly destroying them before they could fire.

"They really pulled out all the stops for this place, huh?" Alex stated.

"Tell me about it," May replied.

After taking a strange mine-cart ride up a long and winding track to reach a higher level of the lair, Nozomi's X-Powder suddenly beeped.

"What's up, Nozomi?" Clover asked.

Nozomi's expression suddenly brightened considerably when she read the contents of the message she'd been sent. "Hikari's coming to visit in a week!" Nozomi exclaimed.

"Isn't that your film class friend who got nabbed by Tuesday and Sunny a while back?" May wondered.

"Yep, she made good on her promise to come and visit," Nozomi replied.

"Is it weird that she texted you when we're in the middle of the bad guy's den?" Bridget quipped.

"She probably doesn't know we're deep in the heart of danger right now," Nozomi answered after typing out a reply to Hikari. "But, let's actually get back on track for the moment. Nick, do you sense any sign of our missing compatriot?"

Nick closed his eyes and used his psychic radar to sweep the area for any signs of Mat.

"I think I can hear something," Nick stated. "But he's probably just barely out of my radar's range, since what I can hear from him is all static-y. Let's keep moving through this toxic green gauntlet real-quick like so Sam and Britney can shove their high heels up our baddies' keesters for what they did."

Meanwhile...

Mat continued to glare at James and Jazz Hands, showing that he wasn't intimidated by them despite this being the second time they'd snatched him for their diabolical schemes.

"I'll admit, they're pretty skilled," Jazz Hands proclaimed as he watched the spies continue to make their way through the obstacles. "Doesn't really matter, though, does it? Once they get here, they'll wish they'd just scampered off like the mice they are."

"And Sam will learn that she belongs to me and not this nutty Hawaiian boy-toy," James cackled.

"Oh, not this again," Jazz Hands sighed.

"Hey, mime man, you're the one who busted me out of prison so we could concoct this whole shebang," James shot back. "I figured you would have understood that she's destined to be with me."

"And I thought I told you that Miss Spirit Fingers was going to be mine again," Jazz Hands growled. "I deserve her after how she tricked me!"

These two are out of their gourd, Mat thought as the two villains continued to argue. He wasn't worried, though, because he knew the spies were on their way.

But even so, he continued to think of ways he could use this villain dispute to his advantage. After all, it wasn't every day that such a golden opportunity made itself known.

"You two didn't do as much as I did," Mat called out to them both.

Needless to say that caught both gentlemen's attentions.

"You two have so many black marks against you, it's not even gonna matter!" Mat continued in his realistic sense.

"Shows what YOU know..." Jazz Hands growled. "That girl of yours pulled a fast one on me with her Miss Spirit Fingers persona... and you're still with her?!"

"But I'm the one who dated her..." James retorted.

"Don't you mean used her?!" Mat countered. "Besides, what I've done for her is for me to know and you to NOT know!"

"Regardless, you're out of our way, and we're gonna take your girl away for a life of crime!" Jazz Hands cackled.

"You know how many times other villains have tried that?" Mat laughed. "And you still don't intimidate me, James. I thought you'd learned your lesson from all the ass-whoopings we handed you in Europe."

"I suggest you pipe down right this instant," James growled. "You don't want to know what I'm going to do to you if you don't shut up."

"Is that supposed to scare me?" Mat cackled.

"Sam will be mine, boy," James proclaimed.

"I said she's going to be mine!" Jazz Hands shouted.

"Oh, will you two just shut up already?"

Before James could say something, the two villains were met with two psychic shots fired at their feet, courtesy of Nick.

"Neither of you are walking away with ANYTHING as long as we're here!" Nick proclaimed.

"Great timing, guys!" Mat exclaimed.

"No worries, Mat," May proclaimed. "We'll have you outta there before you can say 'Hawaiian Hunny Holiday'!"

"You don't wanna know how many lines you've crossed with everything you've done so far!" Britney growled.

"I'll second that," Sam added.

She and Britney nodded, ready for a team-up.

"You shouldn't have come here, Sam," James cackled. "Because now you're as good as mine!"

James charged for Sam, only to be knocked backwards by way of a flying kick to the face, courtesy of Britney. Sam quickly pounced on James, landing a few punches to his chest before tossing him back over her head so that Britney could kick him in the back.

"Now stay down, jerk," Britney proclaimed.

"And don't even think about trying your stupid invisible crap," Haruka quipped. "Rules for villains, number ninety-one: invisibility is powerful, but not foolproof."

"You'll be in the for the fights of your lives after all..." James sneered.

"Oh, we don't think so," Melissa replied.

"Uh-huh," Dawn remarked in agreement. "You may have mime guy on your side, but it won't matter in the end!"

"We'll see to it, too!" Nozomi exclaimed.

"Did you forget about me?" Jazz Hands laughed, aiming his accordion for Nozomi, only to be blasted backwards courtesy of Nick.

"What, did you forget about me?" Nick taunted.

"I'd like to see you get me now!" Jazz Hands cackled as he began to dash around the lair. "After all, you can't grab me if you can't catch me, right?"

"That's what I invented this for," Nick quipped, placing his hands together and then drawing them apart, a large ring of golden light forming between his palms.

As Jazz Hands attempted to jump towards Alex, Nick fired the ring towards him, and it constricted around Jazz Hands' body, keeping him stuck in his spot. Nick then clenched his fist and the ring exploded in a flash of light, flooring Jazz Hands instantly.

"Don't ever underestimate what I can come up with," Nick stated.

"HA! GOTCHA!" Alex proclaimed as she fired her Laser Lipstick at Jazz Hands.

Jazz Hands certainly felt it, and Mat could somehow sense that the invisible crate he was trapped in was beginning to dissipate.

"Nick!" Alex called out, as if to keep James and Jazz Hands guessing.

"Gotcha, Alex," Nick replied with a grin.

He then tried to get through to Sam and Britney mentally.

Hey, Sam, Brit, can you two read me?

I will never get used to that, Britney thought. What's up, Nick?

I'm pretty sure I know how to free Mat, Nick thought. Jazz Hands has to concentrate to keep his invisible cage around Mat.

So, basically, what you're saying is that we just have to knock him around some more to get Mat out of there? Sam thought.

Precisely, Nick responded.

"HA!" Clover proclaimed while she, Blaine, and Klee battled some of the henchmen. "I won't be intimidated by these chumps!"

"Same here!" Blaine and Klee replied simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Sam used the Laser Lipstick to knock Jazz Hands' accordion weapon out of his hands.

"Now, how do we free my Mat-honey..." Sam quipped.

Unknown to her, James was going for her, but Britney wouldn't have any of it.

"Not today, pal!" Britney proclaimed.

"How about a little help, girl?" Alex quipped.

James lunged forward in an attempt to grab Britney, but Alex snap-kicked him to the ground, allowing Britney to nail James in the face with a sliding kick.

"Oh, thanks, girls," Sam remarked when she saw the hubbub going on.

"I say it's now time to try and figure out how to free Mat," Britney replied.

"Not so fast!" Jazz Hands seethed.

He summoned all his henchmen to surround the other spies. James was on cue again with the invisible airplane to transport Mat away again.

"I gave ya two chances..." Jazz Hands taunted. "Too bad for you!"

The henchmen were all on hand and creating invisible walls around the other thirteen spies.

"Great, now what?!" Haruka exclaimed.

Nick clenched his fists, trying to think of a way to escape before the invisible plane took Mat away for a third time...

...and then, something clicked. Something he hadn't thought of before.

Knowing he'd have to work fast before the henchmen figured it out, Nick prepared himself, raising his hand upwards to fire a psychic bolt into the air.

Just as he thought, the blast continued to sail through the air until it struck the ceiling of the lair itself.

Before any of the henchmen could respond, Nick snapped his fingers, causing a bubble of golden light to expand outwards from him until it covered roughly the entire control center, including Jazz Hands, James, and the henchmen. Time within the bubble quickly screeched to a complete halt.

"Should have thought that far ahead, mime boys," Nick laughed, encasing everyone around him a psychic bubble so he could lift them out of the invisible cage. Once they were all on the ground, Nick flew back into the air to grab Mat and bring him back, since Jazz Hands had apparently made the same mistake the henchmen had.

Once Mat was back with the group, Nick snapped his fingers again to undo the time freeze, leaving both villains quite stunned.

"W-what?!" Jazz Hands gasped. "How in the hell did you escape my invisible cage?!"

"You forgot to create an invisible ceiling," Nick taunted as he unleashed a psychic pulse to knock the henchmen down. "Rules for villains, number eighty: make sure cages surround your captives on all sides."

"Well, what do we do now, mime boy?" James growled.

"The only thing we can do at the moment," Jazz Hands answered. "This isn't the end, spies! We shall return!"

"Savor your time with that Hawaiian squash, Sam, because it'll be over soon," James proclaimed, throwing down a few smoke bombs to cover their escape. By the time Nick used a psychic pulse to clear the smoke away, the villains and their henchmen had vanished.

"...Hawaiian squash?" May quipped. "Is that really the best he can come up with?! Seriously, someone's running out of ideas."

Naturally, both Sam and Britney threw themselves at Mat the instant the surprise had worn off.

"Should have seen that coming, huh?" Mat laughed even as Sam and Britney both kissed him on his cheeks.

"We were just worried about you, Mat," Britney admitted.

"That spoiled little jerk still doesn't intimidate me," Mat stated as he stood up. "I was more worried about you two."

"I'm just glad you're okay, honey," Sam proclaimed as she hugged Mat.

"Me, too, Mat," Britney stated as she hugged Mat from behind.

Nick couldn't help but smile at Alex and May.

"That was really clever what you pulled off, Nick," Sam admitted. "How did you know that he forgot the ceiling?"

"Even if I couldn't see the walls, I could still sense them," Nick answered. "Psychic, after all. So, I just noticed that he forgot to create a ceiling to keep us completely boxed in, so I did a test shot just to be sure and then I put my plan into action."

"What a way to stick it to a mime, huh?" May laughed as she hugged Nick.

"And on that note, I think we should hightail it out of this place before something else decides to happen," Alex quipped. "Because this place is creepy enough as it is."

"I'm all for that!" Bridget exclaimed. "Let's jet back to W.O.O.H.P. and see if Jerry and RiCO can help us decipher what exactly their secret plan is."

8:27 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters

"And that's basically the whole story, Jerry," Mat stated once the spies had finished their rundown of everything that had happened thus far.

"Yikes, I did not expect that scoundrel to be a part of this," Jerry admitted.

"Didn't you guys say that you're working on a brand new containment facility?" Clover asked.

"Yeah, but it's not finished just yet," RiCO answered after materializing in the office. "But I assure you, once it's finished, it'll be harder than ever for bad guys to escape from confinement, because I'll be adding my own personal touches to the facility."

"Now why couldn't GLADIS be this awesome?" Haruka proclaimed, to which RiCO giggled happily.

"But back to the business at hand," Nick stated. "We're still trying to figure out what exactly their big secret plot is. As far as I can tell, they only went after Mat to spite Sam for how she made fools out of both of them, but they haven't spilled any hints about their big final scheme, whatever that may be."

"I think we need to find them first before we can wring some more answers out of them," Alex quipped.

"I'll start tracking them," RiCO proclaimed, running her tracker program to pinpoint where the villains would strike next.

Britney and Sam looked on at Mat while waiting for RiCO's results. They grinned at the fact Mat had been rescued again, and hoped there wouldn't be a third time.

"So, Hikari's back with us soon?" May asked Nozomi in an attempt to pass the time.

"Yeah, she's coming sometime next week," Nozomi replied. "She and Makoto actually got some time off from their film studies classes, believe it or not."

"Wait, they've still got classes in the summer?" Alex asked.

"Japanese schools do things a little differently," Nick answered. "They start school in April and end the next March, with summer vacation in August. It's one of the things I definitely had to adjust to when I came to Beverly Hills."

"Well, in that case, we could have her stay at our beach house since she'll be here temporary," Sam replied.

"I don't think she'll be staying long, probably about a week, but yeah, we should have her stay at our beach house," Nozomi emphasized.

"I'm still wondering if Jazz Hands' intentions were to piss Sam off by taking Mat away," Haruka told the group.

"I'll bet that might be his pretext," Sam deduced. "That Miss Spirit Fingers isn't coming back one way or another as well!"

"I guess we'll find out in due time, will we?" Bridget quipped.

"Our rogues gallery is pretty predictable, after all," Clover pointed out.

"Always seems to be revenge," Alex quipped.

"And it doesn't help that somehow people still slip out of the W.O.O.H.P. Containment Facility as well," Nick chastised.

Jerry overheard things and cleared his throat. "Unfortunately, no facility is foolproof in the long-run, but that's why we have law enforcement after all..."

"But he tries," Mat quipped.

"Yes, I suppose," Clover groaned.

"Sometimes, that's really all you can do," May quipped.

On the other hand, Klee was feeling like more of her memories were beginning to return. She was clutching her head at first as if she had an amnesia-related headache.

"Klee? Are you okay?" Britney asked.

"What's her story?" Blaine wondered.

"Apparently, she's a W.O.O.H.P. agent who lost her memories," Nick told Blaine. "She's the one who found us and we've been trying off and on to find out where she came from."

"Klee? Are you okay?" Britney repeated her question.

"No..." Klee complained. "My head hurts for some wacky reason!"

"It must be another of her memories coming back," Melissa deduced.

"Question is... what?" Dawn wondered.

Klee's problem had to be put on hold because RiCO was the next to speak up.

"I've determined where Jazz Hands and James got to!" RiCO told the group.

"You have?" Mat asked. "Well, come on, out with it..."

"It appears they're heading towards The Groove," RiCO answered.

"Because of course they are!" Clover exclaimed.

"Well, let's get there!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Hold on," Mat pointed out. "What about Klee?"

Thankfully, Klee seemed to snap out of her headache at that precise moment.

"Is everything all right, Klee?" Nick asked. "What did you remember?"

Klee blinked a few times to clear the last mental cobwebs from her mind before she responded.

"I saw a strange guy in an evil-looking cloak," Klee explained. "And I'm pretty dang sure that whoever the joke in the cloak is, he's the one who erased my memories!"

"Sounds like we have our first suspect," May quipped. "Even though that doesn't sound like any of the baddies we've faced, at least now we know what to look out for."

"And on that note, we should probably get to The Groove before our baddies overrun it," Melissa proclaimed. "Lead the way, Sammy!"

"That was always the plan," Sam responded as the spies set out for their destination.

9:15 P.M. – The Groove

The group skidded to a stop just outside the parking lot of The Groove, just in time for at least ten mime henchmen to make their presence known.

"Of course you're here," Alex groaned.

"We're only warning you once," Nick proclaimed, his aura flaring to life around him. "Move, or we're gonna make you move!"

The henchmen simply shuffled forward, already waving their hands in mime motions.

"Didn't think so," Nick sighed as he fired a few psychic bolts to knock down a few henchmen and open up some room for the spies to work.

Naturally, five of the henchmen were surrounding Mat, intending to capture him for a third time.

"Absolutely not!" Sam shouted, cartwheeling over and kicking two henchmen to the ground while Britney sent two more flying with a handstand spinning kick and Nick finished up by grabbing the last one with his psychic hold and throwing him into a nearby bush.

"Thanks, you guys," Mat proclaimed.

"Always happy to kick some butts for my honey-bunches," Sam giggled.

"Same here!" Britney laughed. "No one puts my boyfriend in a box and gets away with it."

Meanwhile, three henchmen were all waving their hands together in strange motions. Nick used his psychic senses to see what they were trying to do, and...

"...they're creating a giant battering ram," Nick stated. "Oh, crapbaskets."

Nick followed the eyes of the henchmen to see who they were aiming for, and it turned out they were aiming for Klee, who was suddenly on her knees and clutching her head again, indicating that another memory had come back.

"Oh, crapbaskets!" Nick shouted again as he rushed to assist Klee, only to run smack into an invisible wall.

The other five henchmen threw their invisible battering ram towards Klee, to the shock of the spies...

...and then, something very strange happened.

("Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65 plays)

Klee snapped out of her headache quickly, just as aquatic-blue light began to surround her body. Just as the invisible battering ram approached her, Klee raised her right hand, which was glowing that same aquatic blue.

The invisible battering ram was covered in that blue light and came to an abrupt halt in midair, now slightly visible thanks to Klee. The henchmen actually showed visible surprise, especially compared to the spies, who were utterly shocked at what they'd just seen.

Klee thrust her hand forward, and the invisible battering ram flew back towards the henchmen, crashing into the ground just in front of them. This was enough to convince all of the mimes to retreat for the moment.

Naturally, the spies had no idea what to make of seeing Klee inadvertently displaying psychic powers much like Nick's.

Klee relaxed herself, her body still glowing blue as she walked up to Alex.

"I remembered something pretty important," Klee stated. "Well, besides what I just did."

Before Alex could ask what Klee had remembered, Klee took a few steps closer and hugged Alex, smiling warmly like she'd reunited with an old friend she hadn't seen in a long time.

"Hi, mama."

And if the spies were shocked at Klee showing psychic powers, they were absolutely flabbergasted at what Klee had just said.

"Did... did Klee just call Alex her mom?!" Clover gasped.

"I am so confused," Melissa stated.

"Okay, good, so it's not just me," Dawn quipped.

Alex finally regained the ability to speak as she looked down at Klee.

"Um, Klee? Did you just call me 'mama'?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, you're my mom, after all," Klee answered.

"Can I assume that I'm 'papa' in this scenario?" Nick wondered.

"Exactly!" Klee laughed as she jumped over to hug Nick. "And, as you probably guessed, dad, yes, I inherited your psychic powers."

"Way to show up those mime nuts, huh?" Nick chuckled.

"All right, all right," Mat proclaimed. "I'm super confused right now. Klee said she was only sixteen, right? That's only two years younger than most of us right now."

"Which can only mean that Klee's from the future," Nick realized.

"I still can't remember exactly what year I got thrown back from," Klee admitted. "But I'm just glad I finally remembered my mom and dad!"

"...that's why you 'chose' us to help you, isn't it?" May asked. "Because, despite your memories being wiped, you somehow knew that we'd be here?"

"That's pretty much the plot synopsis," Klee answered. "I'd rather not cut this strange reunion short, but we do have some bad guys to take care of, right?"

"Oh, crapbaskets, you're right!" Clover exclaimed.

"Yeah, let's go stomp on my evil ex and hope he'll learn his lesson this time," Sam proclaimed.

After regrouping, the spies all set off into the depths of The Groove, hoping to find Jazz Hands and James before they could put their dastardly plan into motion, whatever that plan was.

As they entered the main lobby, Klee couldn't help but glance at Nick and Alex, happy that she'd finally remembered her parents.

And hopefully, it wouldn't be much longer before the rest of her memories came back to her as well.

To be concluded...

On the next episode...

Bridget: All right, mime boy, this is the end of the line!

James: You say that every time, you know. What makes you think you're going to beat us this time?
