A/N - This is just a fun, light-hearted one shot and I hope people enjoy it.
The Head Dorms echoed with the low, sensual moans of the Head Boy as he sat on the sofa, his head thrown back in pleasure as in front of him the Head Girl knelt between his legs. Cracking open his eyes, he threaded his fingers through the chocolate curls of his companion. In response, the Head Girl raised her head enough to reveal her large eyes, looking deceptively innocent, despite the wicked pleasure her mouth was creating.
"Hermione!"
The cry echoed around the cosy room as the Head Boy tipped over into oblivion thanks to the Head Girl's ministrations. With a slow smirk Hermione Granger sat back on her heels and admired the view of her fellow head recovering from the pleasure she'd just given him.
"You look so smug," Draco Malfoy chuckled as he slowly cracked his eyes open to the sight of Hermione watching him proudly.
"I'm just pleased all my hard work paid off," Hermione replied with a shrug. "I told you studying was worth it."
Draco couldn't help but laugh, knowing exactly what sort of studying Hermione was talking about. When they'd started their relationship at the beginning of the year, Hermione had confessed to being inexperienced in sexual matters. And while Draco had been happy to teach her everything he knew, she'd also taken to doing some research herself. Between Draco and the books she'd been reading, Hermione was now extremely talented when it came to sex.
"It certainly was," Draco conceded. "You were so good, I better give you ten points for Gryffindor."
The points thing was a running joke between the pair and since the start of their relationship they had playfully awarded each other house points when they did something nice for each other.
"Only ten points for that?" Hermione asked with a pout.
"If you want more, you need to earn them," Draco replied with a smirk, looking forward to how exactly his lover would earn more points.
"I think I can manage that," Hermione declared as she deftly got to her feet.
Before Draco could ask what exactly she was going to do, Hermione started to slowly unbutton her school blouse. Settling back to enjoy the show, Draco smirked in appreciation when Hermione slid her blouse off her shoulders, revealing her soft, flawless skin and pert breasts encased in a low cut lacy green bra. She then unzipped her skirt and wiggled out of it, revealing a matching pair of lacy green knickers.
"Very nice," Draco remarked with a low whistle as he devoured the sight of his half-naked lover. "Very Slytherin. That's another ten points for Gryffindor."
"Mmm, I wonder what I'll get for taking everything off," Hermione murmured, his eyes fixed on Draco as she reached behind her and unfastened her bra.
As Hermione plucked the lacy material away from her breasts, discarding it on the nearby chair, Draco watched with dark eyes as his arousal grew. Within moments, Hermione's knickers had joined her discarded bra, and she stood in front of Draco, completely and utterly naked.
"Another ten points for Gryffindor," Draco whispered, shifting in his seat.
"I think it's going to be fun earning points this evening," Hermione chuckled as she turned and sauntered towards the stairs. "Are you coming?" she called over her shoulder as she began to mount the stairs.
"That's the general idea," Draco retorted, leaping from the sofa and following his naked lover up to his bedroom, shedding his clothes as he went.
The following morning, Draco and Hermione headed down to breakfast together. Even though no-one knew of their relationship, they'd made sure to advertise the fact they'd become friends in the hope that when they did go public with their romance, people would accept it easier. As such, it wasn't unusual for the head students to walk down to The Great Hall together. However, what was unusual was for them to encounter a crush in the hallway at the bottom of the main staircase.
"What is going on?" Hermione asked as they slowly descended the stairs. "Why aren't people going into The Great Hall?"
"Something has clearly grabbed their attention," Draco said with a shrug.
Speeding up, Draco loudly announced their arrival and he elbowed his way through the throng of students, taking Hermione with him. Eventually they reached the front of the crowd and they halted at the sight of what had gotten everyone transfixed. Standing beside the door, where they always stood, were the four giant hourglasses that recorded house points for the four houses. However, the stunning thing was the Gryffindor hourglass, which was almost full to the top of rubies, when the other hourglasses were barely half full.
"What is this?" Hermione questioned to the students nearby.
"Skulduggery," a Slytherin wizard Hermione didn't know answered with a frown. "Gryffindor did not have that many points last night."
"Yeah," a Ravenclaw witch added with a bob of her head. "Last night when I passed, we had the most points. Gryffindor was twenty points behind us, but this morning they're hundreds in the lead."
"Hundreds of points?" Hermione repeated slowly. "Gryffindor have received hundreds of points since last night."
"No-one receives that many points in one evening," a Hufflepuff wizard snorted in disgust. "There's something dodgy going on here."
"We will get to the bottom of it," Draco announced loudly. "So you can all head into the Great Hall for breakfast."
With a fair amount of muttering, and head shaking, the rest of the students slowly departed, leaving the head students standing in front of the four hourglasses.
"Well," Hermione finally said with a sigh. "This is unexpected."
"Do you think this is us?" Draco asked.
"Who else would it be?" Hermione snorted. "You were very generous with the house points last night."
"You were very deserving," Draco returned with a smirk as he recalled events of the previous evening.
"I doubt the rest of the school will see it that way," Hermione stated. "Do you think we've been given each other points all this time?"
"It would seem so," Draco replied with a shrug. "I didn't know that was possible. I knew as Head Boy I could give and take points from prefects, but I didn't think it worked with you."
"I didn't know it worked like that either," Hermione admitted. "But I guess that doesn't matter now. What matters is fixing this mess."
"How are we going to do that?" Draco asked. "Unless I just take loads of points off Gryffindor for some reason."
"That might have worked if we'd seen this first, but by now half the school know what is going on," Hermione pointed out. "People will want answers as to where the points came from. I think our only course of action is to ask one of the Professors for help."
Reluctantly agreeing, Draco was debating which Professor would be best to assist them when he spotted the Head of Slytherin, Severus Snape, emerging from the dungeons. Since Snape was the Professor he was closest to, both in school and out since he was actually his godfather, Draco decided he was a good bet to ask for help.
"What is going on here?" Snape asked, spotting the pair hovering beside the hourglasses. "And what is this?" he questioned with a frown as he spotted the anomaly in the Gryffindor hourglass. "How did this happen?"
"I think it was me," Draco confessed with a sigh. "I didn't know I could award points to the Head Girl."
"You gave these points to Miss Granger?" Snape asked with an arched eyebrow. "And what did she do to earn hundreds of points?"
"I'd rather not say, it's personal," Draco muttered as beside him, Hermione blushed fiercely.
"I just bet it was," Snape muttered, his tone of voice leaving the head students in no doubt that he had guessed how the points had been earned.
"Can you help us?" Draco asked. "We can't let things stay like this. I'll be lynched."
"It could be a valuable lesson," Snape replied with a slight smirk. "It would teach you to respect the house point system. And it might teach you something about controlling your lustful urges."
"I wouldn't go that far," Draco snorted. "But I have learned a valuable lesson about throwing out house points. I swear I won't give Hermione another point for her sexual prowess."
"I'm sure that is a relief to everyone, since she seems to have quite a lot of skill in that department if these points are anything to go by," Snape drawled, causing Hermione to become even more embarrassed.
"Are you going to help, or not?" Draco demanded. He knew that Snape was having fun teasing them, but he needed to know if help would be coming from the Potions master, or if they would have to seek it elsewhere.
"I'm afraid I cannot remove that many house points without authorisation from the headmaster," Snape replied. "Only Professor Dumbledore can fix things and return them to the way they were."
"So we have to admit all this to the headmaster?" Hermione questioned in horror. "But what if he strips us of our head titles? I can't lose the position of Head Girl."
"I guess that is just a chance you will have to take," Snape said. "Wait here, and I will go and fetch the headmaster."
With no other choice, the head students could do nothing but wait as Professor Snape headed into the Great Hall to retrieve the headmaster. Five minutes later the two Professors emerged back into the hallway, where Dumbledore took a good look at the situation with the Gryffindor hourglass.
"Well, well, you have been generous, Mr Malfoy," Dumbledore remarked.
The remark caused Draco to gape at the headmaster, while Hermione turned away in embarrassment. Snape meanwhile let out a snort of amusement, and even though his expression was blank, Draco could see the humour flickering in his dark eyes.
"I think we should head up to my office to sort this mess," Dumbledore offered, giving the students a small smile.
"We are very sorry, Sir, we had no idea we could really give points to each other," Draco apologised as they headed up towards the headmaster's office.
"I'm not sure I was aware it could happen either," Dumbledore admitted. "But maybe no other head students have given each other points before."
"Maybe other head students kept their hands to themselves," Snape remarked pointedly.
"It wasn't just her hands that earned the points," Draco retorted before he could stop himself.
"Draco," Hermione hissed, elbowing her lover in the ribs.
Ahead of them, Hermione was sure she heard Dumbledore chuckle, which only made her flush even more. It was totally mortifying that first Snape and now Dumbledore were aware of the sexual exploits she was sharing with the Head Boy. Although thanks to what they thought was a joke, everyone was now going to know what exactly the head students got up to in the privacy of their private dorms.
When they arrived at Dumbledore's office, he gestured for the two head students to take a seat while he poked around on one of the many bookshelves in the office and finally emerged with a leather bound book. Placing the book on his desk, he explained that the book magically recorded every house point given and taken away, and the reasons.
"My, my, you were busy last night," Dumbledore muttered as he found the latest entries belonging to the head students. "Ah, here we go," he declared, finding the right section of the records. "At seven yesterday evening Mr Malfoy gave Miss Granger ten points for Gryffindor for ora..."
Thankfully Dumbledore's voice trailed off as he read ahead and found just what the first ten points have been awarded for. Making his way down the list of points, Dumbledore highlighted each one with his wand, but thankfully never mentioned what they were given for. Although several times his eyebrows shot into his hairline, and more than once he gave the head students a sly glance.
"I think that is it," he finally announced, looking rather uncomfortable after his discoveries. "I can remove the points now. But in future, please refrain from giving each other points."
"We can manage that," Draco vowed.
"Is that it?" Hermione asked. "Are we not in trouble?"
"No, I think it was an honest mistake," Dumbledore replied. "However, I will be leaving it to the two of you to explain this anomaly with the house points to your fellow students."
Thanking the headmaster for his leniency, the two head students hurriedly left his office, both unsure if they would ever be able to look him in the eye again given what he'd just read about them.
"I have to hand it to Dumbledore, he's acted like a true Slytherin," Draco remarked as they made their way back down to the ground floor.
"In what way?" Hermione asked.
"Leaving us to find an explanation for the points Gryffindor accumulated overnight," Draco replied. "We either have to think of a lie in super quick time, or we come clean and admit the truth."
"We can't admit the truth," Hermione cried in outrage. "We can't tell everyone you gave me those points for sex."
"Look at it this way, everyone will think you're some sort of sex goddess to have earned so many points," Draco joked. "Which of course you are," he added with a salacious wink.
"Be serious," Hermione hissed, hitting her lover on the arm. "What are we going to tell people?"
"I don't know, but we're going to have to think on our feet," Draco remarked as they started down the main staircase and found that yet again the area in front of the hourglasses was packed with students.
"Hey Draco," the voice of Draco's best friend, Blaise Zabini, called as the wizard in question pushed his way to the foot of the stairs. "Is it true you gave all those points to Gryffindor?"
"Who told you that?" Draco asked with a frown, still trying how best to handle the whole situation.
"All the Professors are talking about it," Theo Nott, another of Draco's friends, added as he appeared at Blaise's side. "And boy, are they loud. The whole of the The Great Hall knows."
"Knows what?" Hermione asked warily, looking for her friends but seeing no sign of them.
"That you are a bloody sex goddess," Blaise said, smirking at Hermione. "The rumours coming from the top table is that Snape came to get Dumbledore after learning that the Head Boy had been rewarding the Head Girl for extracurricular activity."
"And quite a lot of activity if those points were anything to go by," Theo laughed. "So is it true? All those points were awarded for sex?"
"Yes, it's true," Draco announced with a sigh. "Sorry, Hermione, but the rumours are already going, and we're not going to be able to come up with a better explanation. So here's what happened, I was jokingly giving points to Hermione, not knowing that they were really registering in the hourglass. It was rather a good night last night, hence the amount of points. But it's been sorted now and everything is back to normal."
"Not everything," Blaise remarked. "Now the school is going to be awash with gossip about you two. What a way to announce you're together."
"It wasn't exactly our intention," Draco remarked.
"It wasn't, but what's done is done," Hermione replied with a sigh. She wasn't exactly thrilled by how their secret had come out, but at least now there would be no more need to sneak about and hide their relationship.
"And hey, look on the bright side, everyone now knows you're a real lioness in the sack," Blaise said with a jaunty wink.
"I would rather people didn't know anything about my sex life," Hermione retorted. "But I guess that ship has sailed. Now, I don't suppose either of you have seen Harry or Ron, have you? I wonder if they've heard the news by now?"
"I think the whole school has heard by now," Theo snorted. "Snape wasn't exactly subtle when he came to find Dumbledore, and the Professors weren't quiet while talking about it either. I think head students awarding each other points for sex is something that's never been done before."
"You know I like to be a trend setter," Draco joked.
Leaving Draco with his friends, Hermione pushed through the crowds in search of her friends. As she went she heard snippets of gossip, and knew that Theo was right. The word had spread, and almost everyone now knew how those points had mysteriously appeared in the Gryffindor hourglass. Hermione eventually found her best friends, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, standing with Ron's sister, Ginny, and another of their friends, Neville Longbottom.
"So," she began, unsure of how to start. "I guess you've heard."
"We've heard," Ron remarked. "But we don't believe it."
"It's true," Hermione admitted. After all, there was no point denying it now the rumours were out there and Draco himself had confirmed them.
"Malfoy gave you all those points last night?" Ginny checked with wide eyes as Neville looked at Hermione as if in awe of her.
"Yes, but we had no idea they were really registering," Hermione admitted. "We didn't think we could really give house points to each other."
"And did he really give them to you for..." waving his hand wildly, Ron seemed unable to finish his sentence.
"Sex," Ginny clarified with glee.
"Mainly," Hermione admitted with a blush.
"Wow, you must be good," Harry muttered.
"Harry," Hermione cried, the redness in her cheeks growing at her best friend's words.
"Sorry, but damn it, that was a lot of points. You must have really impressed Malfoy," Harry said.
"I'd really rather not talk about my sex life," Hermione muttered.
"Well, everyone else is certainly talking about it," Ron grumbled.
"Yeah, you're going to get quite a reputation, Hermione," Ginny said, sounding slightly envious. "Every wizard in school will be wanting you."
"They can want, I'm a one wizard woman," Hermione replied. "For the record, Draco and I aren't just messing around, we really care about each other."
"He must care to give so many house points to the opposition," Harry chuckled.
"Although it's a bit disappointing to have them all taken away," Ron added with a sigh. "Why did that happen? Even if he awarded them in accident, Malfoy still gave you those points. You earned them."
"I don't think you're supposed to earn points the way Hermione earned them," Neville said quietly, still looking at Hermione as though he was seeing her in a new light.
"I don't think you are," Hermione admitted with a chuckle. "I think we should just stick to traditional points earning from now on."
"Shame, it would have been nice to win the house cup so early in the year," Ron remarked with a smirk. "No-one would have caught us with all those points."
"So, does all this mean none of you are mad at me for seeing Draco?" Hermione checked, aware that so far she'd had very little reaction to the revelation she was dating their arch-enemy.
"It's your life, Hermione, you can date whoever you want," Ron answered with a shrug.
"Not that it's really a surprise you've chosen Malfoy," Harry added. "Ever since you started to make it clear the pair of you are friends, it's been obvious there's more to it. We've just been waiting for the big announcement."
"We just didn't think Malfoy would make it by awarding you hundreds of house points for sex," Ginny quipped.
"It was certainly a unique way of announcing your relationship," Neville laughed.
"It wasn't the intention, but it seems to have worked," Hermione said, laughing along with her friends. "Although I could have done without everyone in the school knowing we have a hot sex life."
"Look at it this way, you've provided the main talking point of the year," Ron joked. "No-one is going to forget the year the Head Boy almost gave the house cup to his rival house by awarding the Head Girl points for her performance in the bedroom."
"It wasn't just the bedroom, I earned points before we even reached it," Hermione retorted flippantly, surprising herself with how quickly the words came out before she could censor them.
Luckily, her friends saw the funny side of things, and rather than being totally embarrassed by the situation, Hermione was able to see the funny side of it. It wouldn't have been how she'd chosen to announce her relationship with the Head Boy, but it was certainly a unique way of coming out of the shadows. After all, as Ron said, no-one was ever going to forget the time Gryffindor earned hundreds of point thanks to the Head Girl satisfying the Head Boy in the Head Dorms.
The End.
