Kurt was still sitting against the wall still, Nick and Jeff- 'Niff' - had already started walking.
"You'll be fine Kurt, trust me, Mr Brown is the best teacher here...well other than Mr clark" Blaine said, then offered his hand to help Kurt, a bright smile present on his face. "Just follow me"

Kurt hesitantly took Blaine's hand as he stood up, he smiled slightly,
"Thank you blaine.." he mumbled, suddenly the bell rang loudly, the young boy jumped slightly . As students piled out of the classroom, pushing and shoving. Blaine's hand slipped from Kurts as he started to walk, but kurts nerves picked up. He couldn't help the nerves that overtook him.

Kurts posture stiffened as if waiting for a punch and his hands shook slightly, staying frozen in place. Blaine noticed that Kurt wasn't next to him and turned to check on him, heart breaking at the sight in front of him. Kurt looked so small and scared. Blaine slowly walked over- as to not scare him -dodging the dozens of boys walking down the halls.
"Kurt, everything's okay, it's just me," Blaine assured him, noticing the fear on Kurt's face as he looked at the boys walking down the halls, going to collect books from their lockers or walking to their next room. "I know a shortcut." he said, holding out a hand for Kurt, letting him have the choice to hold it.
"O-okay…" Kurt said softly, he took Blaine's hand, hoping it would help ground him like it did with his dad, or friends, and it did.

Blaine smiled as he started running off towards their classroom, Kurt's hand in his, both smiling like idiots. By the time they made it to class Mr brown was already reading out the roll.
"Blaine anderson?"

"Here sir!" he yelled as he pulled Kurt with him to sit with Niff at the back of the classroom. Mr Brown continued calling out the role, getting Nick's signature answer 'no need to fear, Nick is here'-which he for some reason thought was funny, and a 'aww why are you so cute?' could be heard being said by jeff- kurt quietly said here, and mr brown sent a kind smile his way.
"Jeffry st-" Mr Brown started, Jeff hated his full name he thought it was too formal, and Mr Brown knew this, he just liked annoying him.
"Mr brown. You know this. My. name. Is. jeffi-"
"Hey that's my nickname for you!" Nick said, crossing his arms and pouting childishly. He had this thing about people calling Jeff jeffie.

"Fine, it's jeffley" Jeff said smugly. Blaine shook his head, not able to stop himself from laughing, soon Mr Brown and the whole class- besides kurt- were laughing.

"Okay, fine, jeffley sterling?"
"yes." Jeff said with a smug smile, Nick put his arm around jeffs waist with a fond smile
"Adorable" Nick mumbled.
"Normally I would say no PDA in this class... but i can't stop either of you,..and you two are way too cute, and two of my favourites…. But no more than what you're already doing!" Mr Brown warned "or i'll move one of you to sit on the other side of the room"
"You wouldn't!" Nick said
"I would." Mr Brown argued.

Class then went on as per usual, the casual bickering between students and sometimes the teacher. But other than that it ran smoothly, class soon ended and the boys packed up their things. Blaine purposefully took longer than usual- knowing the boys would wait for him - so the halls wouldn't be so crowded for kurt.

"Thank you sir!" Nick called out as they walked out of the room
"Have a good day boys" Mr Brown said. they started to walk down to the cafeteria as it was finally lunch. Nick Had his arm around Jeff's shoulder and Jeff was holding onto his hand tightly, it looked like an awkward position but neither seemed to mind. Blaine noticed a group of boys running towards them. It was chandler. His ex.

Chandler was one of the more 'popular kids' in school. He had quite a few friends, and was kind..well it seemed like he was. But Blaine still hates him. He broke his heart and used him.

Most of my friends held a grudge against him because of it.

"Anderson! Hey" Chandler said as he came to a stop in front of us "Nick, Jeff ...new kid." he said looking Kurt up and down, a smile forming on his lips, "the names Chandler, you?"
"K-k-kurt…" kurt stuttered out
"No need to be nervous about it. Unique name by the way, but I better be off, see you around" Chandler said before running off. Blaine groaned when he was out of earshot
"I hate him so much.."
"We know… you bring it up all the time" Jeff seid

"Why? He seems nice," Kurt asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"I dated him back in freshman year.." Blaine replied as they started to walk again "but that doesnt matter, we should hurry up, Wes will want to talk with us." He added, not wanting to talk about what happened.

Kurt let go of the subject. They walked as a group to the cafeteria, Wes, David, Thad and Trent were already there, sitting at the usual table. Wes was reading a book while Thad and David argued over school work, Trents sitting there rolling eyes as the two argued. The boys quickly got our food and walked over to sit with the group.
"Kurt! How was class?" Wes asked closing his book,

"It was fine.." Kurt said quietly and shrugged slightly,
"Are you sure?" Wes asked again, he could always tell when someone was upset or bothered even if they tried to cover it up, no matter how long he had known them for. Blaine and niff jokingly called it 'the big brother instinct'. Kurt nods keeping his eyes down cast. Wes turned to Blaine as he was sitting next to him. "what happened?" he asked in a whisper so that no one else would hear.

"Clairington" Blaine replied with an eye roll,
"What the hell did he want?" Wes asked, he hates Hunter with a passion, having used to dorm with him, and being in most of the same classes, he knew the real Hunter.

He has once tried to steal Wes's position of head warbler, but no one agreed, not wanting Wes to be kicked off the council, most of the boys liked him alot. Wes didn't mind, he was just happy he had somewhere where he was wanted and accepted by others.

"I'm not sure.. But he ran into Kurt and… was teasing and taunting him, Kurt was crying when I got there..crying." Blaine explained, obviously panicked.
"Woah woah, calm down. Blaine, I know you're worried but i'm sure it was fine. He's not hurt… physically at least… but I'm sure if something horrible, something that hurt him a lot happened, he would tell us…" Wes said, although he sounded unsure. He didn't want Blaine to work himself up about something that could be nothing at all, although Wes knew it was something, with hunter it is never nothing.
"How can you be sure?! We barely even know this kid. What if something bad is happening to him?.." Blaine stresses, running a hand through his hair- well over, as it was slicked down with what must have been around half of a tun of gel- "Wes I have a bad feeling about this…" he said,
"Gelhead," he said with love of course "I promise we will do our best to help him, but I have a feeling he won't open up to us just yet, and until then we can't fully help him" Wes tried to explain, in a way that would help him understand, and calm hopefully down. Jeff turned to the two boys, a frown on his face- from overhearing both boys stressing and the fact that Nick wasn't paying attention to him, rather talking to David and Thad-

"Is this about k-" Jeff went to say
"Yes." Blaine said, crossing his arms on the table, resting his head on them. Wes sighed, putting an arm around Blaine's shoulders
"Cheer up. Daltons one of the best schools out there, the no bullying policy works like, 99.999999999% of the time" he said
"But what about that small 0.0000000001 percent?! Wes! What about that bit!?" Blaine said
"Oh gosh...Blainey-days you worry way too much. It'll be fine." Jeff said,
"I do not!" Blaine whined, Wes and Jeff both started laughing at him, Wes jokingly patting him on the shoulders. Causing the other boys sitting at the table to turn and look at them.
"What's going on? David asked.
"Blaines whining again" Jeff said
"Oh my gosh...this is why he needs a boyfriend … I can't put up with his whining anymore" David sighed.
"Oh shut up david.." Blaine groaned

The boys eventually stopped arguing, conversation turning casual and to the subject of school work, their dormroom and the warblers.
"So Kurt, what was your old school like?" Wes asked the younger boy, who was aimlessly pushing his food around his plate, he hadn't said a word since Wes last spoke to him, instead he had his head down and a frown etched onto his face. He looked up at Wes slightly scared, as if contemplating how to answer.

"Well it was a good school, and I had friends, nevertheless I stood out like a So we thumb and I was the only gay kid out in my school".
"Kurt… you don't have to tell us, we know the basics of what happened, that would have been hard. But we are here if you want to.."Blaine said softly, and caringly".
"Yeah it's totally your choice" Nick added quickly, and smiled warmly at kurt.
"Mhm, we don't want you to feel pressured or anything" wes said, kurt smiled sadly and nods
"I-I know… but I think you guys should know… well some of it at least" kurt said, taking a deep breath,
"Wait… why don't we go back to the dorms? Less people" Jeff seid.

The others agreed and the boys cleaned up their table, and went back to the dorms. The boys got changed out of their uniforms and into their pyjamas, Niff wore matching toy story themed ones -because one year jeff had gotten nick a pair for christmas and nick insisted that jeff brought a pair for himself so they could match-, blaine wore a pair of bright pink and purple kids pants, with shirt with a picture of miley cyrus sticking her tongue out in some 'quirky pose' the arms were also a bright pink, making them some of the most obnoxious pyjamas any of the boys had seen -a gag gift from Wes from the last years christmas, everytime the boys asked why he wore them still he just replied with "other than katy perry she's my favorite singer, and they are comfortable" so the boys never argued against it, finding it funny and probably great black mail material- Wes wore a plain white shirt, that ad the words 'I'm the boss' on it in big black letters with a picture of a gavel on it and a pair of bright yellow pants -blaines idea of payback. They were a present for Wes's birthday-, trent wore a shirt that had a picture of a sun and a rainbow on it which read 'i'm a ball of sunshine' and a pair of yellow pyjama pants with pictures of rainbows all of them -he had brought them while shopping with thad, who had insisted he brought some new pyjamas, when trent came back with them thad had said "what the actual hell trent..where did you even find those? But yes. You should get them, they were practically made for you"- Thad wore a pair of basketballs shorts, usually with a muscle shirt until he took it off complaining it was two hot and uncomfortable, David wore a plain white shirt with dark red pyjama pants which had black polka dots on them because jeff had insisted that he should so he fit in, kurt wore a pair of blue silk pyjamas with white trimming on them.

Kurt sat down on his bed, a pillow pulled closely against his chest as he thought of his old school, the bullies, the taunting… the kiss… it was hard to think about. But he had to tell them, he knew he would feel better once he did, besides he said he would tell them, and he didn't want to break any promises. Wes had sat down next to Kurt, while Blaine sat on the other side of him, niff sat on Jeff's bed, Trent on the floor with Thad and Trent next to him.

"Ok...so at m-my old s-s-chool there is this neanderthal who decided to make it his mission to ruin my -s-social life… " kurt said, his voice breaking as he spoke, he ran a hand through his hair sharply, "he bullied me b-b-because i have a high p-pitched voice and b-because… i-i-i'm gay i was the o-oo-nly out kid t-t-there" he continued his hand stayed resting in hi hair, his head down, as he pulled it it lightly, one of his nervous habits, he knew it was bad, and knew that if he didnt stop now he would end up hurting himself while doing it but he couldnt find the strength to as he talked about his old school.
"Oh kurt…" blaine said softly
"And it was u-u-usually physical..i-i-i would be pushed i-i-i-into lockers...and c-called rude s-s-s...slurs…" there was a small gasp made by Wes having gone to dalton his whole school life so this was basically unheard of from him.

"Kurt that's horrible." jeff said
"Yeah, you didn't deserve any of that. He was just being an a**hole" Nick said. Kurt shrugs slightly, hand gripping onto his hair tightly now,
"I got used to it...and t-t-that wasn't even the w-worst parts…"
"What happened? Only if you want to tell us..we know it's hard but you'll feel better" wes said, putting a comforting arm around him, careful as to not scare kurt or make him uncomfortable, luckily kurt didn't jump or try and move in fact, he sort off melted into it, moving closer to Wes who didn't argue rather smiled, happy that kurt wasn't scared by him, keeping an arm around the upset boy.
"He w-w-would throw me into dumpsters, well h-h-him and his f-f-...f-riends.. And he b-b-eat me up once..throwing slushies at me...a-a-and once…" kurt wasn't sure if he could say it, it was just three simple words but they were so much more to him, like a curse or burden he was carrying with him, he sharply pulled at his hair, closing his eyes ``he kissed me…. He t-t-tried to do more but-" he said quietly, so it was nearly inaudible, but Wes had heard it, and gasped, Kurt went to continue but broke down crying, his head falling to Wes's shoulder who wrapped his arms tightly around him.

"It'll be okay kurt… he can't get you here.." Wes assured the crying boy. The others looked at the two of them, obviously confused by what Kurt had said, but they decided not to butt in. "why don't we watch a movie? And just relax?" Wes suggested.
"Yes!" Jeff said excitedly, he and the other boys had enough experience with bullying and situations like this, and knew that to help make Kurt feel better they shouldn't pity him, stay upset and bring the mood down. Instead just try and bring the mood backup, without ignoring the issue cause that just makes it worse.
"What do you say kurt?" Blaine asked softly, Kurt nodded and wiped the tears from his eyes, with his free hand the other still pulling at his hair. "Kurt...don't do that" he said, noticing the way Kurt was pulling at his hair, which would obviously be painful. Kurt just shook his head, he moved away from the hug, and wes let him.
"David, Thad let's get the movie on, and get some popcorn and drinks" Wes said standing up. The boys whose names were said followed, Niff stood up
"We'll get blankets and pillows!" Nick said, grabbing Jeff's hand and walking over to the cupboard where they kept their stuff.

"Kurt, stop" blaine said and gently grabbed kurt's hand moving it away from his hair,
"N-no blaine.." kurt said, still crying
"Come here, trust me, I had a bad past like you, I was beaten up at a school dance, but once I came here it got better," Blaine said as the other boy basically fell into the hug.

Both boys soon stood up, and joined their friends on the couch… to watch mean girls.
