The alarm on Axelia's phone went off. She groaned as she rolled over to grab it, unlocking it to read through the texts. She had several texts from her grandmother, all asking where she was and why she didn't shut the barn door the night before, and why her parents had fed her horse, Magnum .

Her parents knew where she was and they told her they would feed him. According to her grandmother, the barn door was still open, meaning they hadn't checked on him later in the night. She looked at the time, it read 6:04, she would usually be on her way to the barn by now to feed him and let him out, "No, no, no, they won't be up yet, he has to be fed, he has to be let out, he'll have too much energy and he'll be stiff."

She jumped out of bed and lost her balance, falling to the floor and hitting her shoulder on the bed frame. "Cora!" she got up and ran to Cora's side of the room, "They don't know how to take care of Mags like I do!" she pulled the blankets off of Cora's bed, surprised to see that she wasn't curled up beneath them, "And now you're missing?!"

She ran out of the room and literally ran into Steve, almost knocking him over, "Woah, slow down, what's wrong?" he asked, trying to not fall over.

"Mags is going to get stiff and have way too much energy and Cora isn't in her bed so I don't have any idea where she is and AAAHHHHH." She spoke too fast for him to understand.

He put his hands on her shoulders, "You're going to have to talk slower, take a few breaths," she took a few shallow breaths, hyperventilating, "Not like that."

"I gotta get him!"

Steve tilted his head, "Who?"

"Mags!"

He exhaled sharply,"Who is Mags?"

"He's my horse! I have to go take care of him, he's my responsibility! I can't leave him." She tried to run around him, but he blocked her.

"Your parents know you can't take care of him right now because you're here. You know what, how about I go get you some hot chocolate and we can call your parents and make sure they know what to do, can I do that?"

"He's my horse! When I got him I said I'd take care of him."

Steve sighed and grabbed her arm, pulling her to the kitchen, "You can't take care of him while you're here, I seriously doubt Tony would allow that."

She yanked her arm free, "I have to at least ask if I-"

He cut her off by picking her up and carrying her bridal style, "Hot chocolate and a phone call, coming right up." She struggled against his grasp, trying to break free again, "I'm Captain America, remember? I'm the definition of super human, don't even try."

"But he's MY responsibility!"

"Do I need to kiss you to make you be quiet? Because if you think I won't , I will."

She grinned, "I won't promise to shut up, but if you want to kiss me I won't stop you."

He shook his head and set her on the counter in the kitchen, "Don't even think of escaping." he turned around to get what he needed and she instantly bolted for the door. He groaned and chased her, it wasn't long before she was back in his arms.

"But Mags is my life! The reason I wake up at 6 in the freaking morning."

"What is going on up there?" Cora's voice came from below them, "It's only, like 6:30, fuck off and go yell somewhere else, I'm trying to sleep."

"He won't let me get Mags!"

"Good, you need a break anyway."

"No, no I don't, I need to see him!"

"Then facetime your mom or something, let me sleep." she pulled the blanket back over her shoulder and curled against Bucky, who wrapped his arm around her in his sleep.

"She's asleep!"

"Call Gramma or something, just leave me alone."

Steve put Axelia down and she ran downstairs to annoy Cora and saw her laying on the couch on Bucky's lap, "Aw, that's so cute," She pulled out her phone and took and took a picture.

Steve came downstairs with two cups of hot chocolate. Axelia began talking before he had the chance to, "I'm still asking Tony if we can bring him here. I can't live without him."

He nodded, "I get it, I couldn't live without him," he nodded to Bucky, "Just wait for a time that he's calm and I'll try to convince him.

She accepted the hot chocolate and smiled, "Thanks, I'm not sure what I would do without him. Meanwhile, what are we going to do with those two?"

They looked at Bucky and Cora, peacefully sleeping on the couch. Steve shrugged, "Join them?"

Axelia smirked, "I have an even better idea."
