A/N: Hey, so I know we've been updating every-other day, but we have 35 chapters writed (including those already posted). I doubt anyone actually looks forward to these updates, but I enjoy writing it. Anyway, we're updating everyday from now on. Enough from me, lets get back to the story. ~DT

Axelia giggled excitedly as they entered the shooting range. She bolted to the far right wall where a majority of the guns were sitting. She tried to open one of the gun safes, then fell on the floor in disappointment when it was locked, "The guns are trapped!"

Cora walked by her, "Yes, because of people like you." She placed her hand on a scanner and one of the safes opened, "I honestly wasn't sure if that would work."

Bucky raised an eyebrow at her, "When did you get handprinted?"

"When I was left alone in the lab, honestly if he wasn't expecting that then he didn't do enough research on me."

Axelia jumped up and grabbed a gun, "Look at this brilliant thing of beauty and death," she whispered to herself.

Bucky pointed to Axelia, "There is something wrong with her."

Cora sighed, "Yes, I know. I've been dealing with her since fourth grade," she picked up an AR-15 and looked down sight, "I like the optic on this."

"Can we start at a shorter range? I haven't shot since last summer, I'll probably have to practice a bit before I'm as good as I was."

Cora looked over at her, "Last summer? It's only fucking early december Axe, it hasn't been that long."

Steve took the gun from Axelia, "I don't trust you with this, you're not getting it back until you're ready to shoot."

"I'll start with my .22, I've shot that thing more times than I can count."

"But you don't have your .22 with you," Cora argued, "You're going to have to use this one," she picked up a .22 and handed it to steve, "You might as well put that AS-VAL back, I'm surprised that's even the one she picked up."

"To be fair it was the first one I saw."

Bucky handed Cora a pair of ear plugs, "You might want these."

She handed them back to him, "It's only a .22 and an AR, they aren't that bad, especially when you're used to shooting 12 gauge without any ear protection."

Axelia looked up at Steve with puppy dog eyes, "Can we shoot now?"

He shrugged, "Sure."

She jumped in the air, "YES!"

~time skip~

After they had each gotten used to shooting again, Cora handed Axelia a gun identical to the one she was holding, "Let's make a game out of it, whoever gets the most points with a single mag gets an IOU from the loser."

Axelia grinned, "Like we used to do with Uno?"

"Exactly. Ready, aim, FIRE!" Both girls started shooting, the boys simply watched. When both magazines were empty, they headed up to the targets.

"I lost?!" Axelia shouted in surprise.

"By ten points, guess my luck with Uno competitions continue."

Axelia looked down the sight, "Is this thing even sighted right?"

Bucky nodded, "Cora told me the idea before she told you, I already checked it."

"Yes, well, I wanna check it myself. Can someone put a piece of paper up?"

"Yeah, sure." Steve put up a piece of paper, so that she could check the sight.

Tony walked in to check on them, "You said you were good. I don't call that good."

Cora grinned, "I know why she missed, not sure anyone else does."

Axelia rolled her eyes, "I did not miss, alright, lets try again."

They reloaded and emptied out the mags on the targets, then went back to see who lost.

Cora grinned, "You lost by 10 points, again."

"How?" Everyone asked at once, except for Tony, who crossed his arms and looked her way.

"Well, there's a slight recoil and since you haven't ever shot this gun before, you wouldn't have known. Whereas my dad's friend AJ has the same exact AR and I've been practicing on it since I was 15. You let all of the bullets go at once, figuring all would go into the bullseye. I shot one or two bullets at a time so the recoil wouldn't be as bad."

"You meant for me to lose?!" Axelia asked, jokingly yelling at her friend.

Cora shrugged, "It's not any different when we played Uno, I always won when there was something on the line, you're used to it." she turned to Tony, "If she had known about the slight recoil, she would've won. Once she practices on it, she'll be the best shot you've ever seen."

Bucky tapped Steve's shoulder to get his attention, then whispered, "Something tells me I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of her IOU's." Steve nodded in agreement.
