~Meanwhile~
Axelia turned and walked inside the barn, "I want to load all his tack first and we'll get him in after."
Steve nodded, following her, "Ok. What do we need to get?"
"Saddle, saddle pad, saddlebags, bareback pad, girth, bridles, bits, grooming supplies, leg wraps, supplements, and his winter blankets. There might be more, that's just the stuff off the top of my head. Oh, and the grain bags and his buckets."
"That's a lot."
Axelia opened the gate into Magnum's area and he nickered at her. She smiled and rubbed his nose, "We'll be heading out someplace new soon. I only wish it was Texas, like we talked about."
"Texas?" Steve asked, picking up the helmet Axelia was wearing earlier.
Axelia opened the tack room door and began grabbing her tack. "Hm? Oh, yeah. When I was younger I wanted to train horses and I made a plan to move to Texas so I could work with them. I wanted to train them and rescue abused or three-strike Mustangs. But working this job now, I don't think I'll be able to."
Steve watched her for a moment, "I'm sure you'll be able to someday."
"I'm sure too. But I wanted to do it this year when I turned 18. That was a couple months ago. I should've been out there by now." Axelia paused, then shrugged, "Nothing I can do now. I'm lucky to be here."
Steve opened his mouth to say something but Axelia cut him off, "Can you get that bareback pad and girth over there?"
"Yeah. Anything else?"
"If you can carry it, his saddle pad and his bridles would be great too."
He picked up the items and brought them out to the trailer while Axelia carried the saddle. They loaded them into the bed of the truck. "Could you grab the grey cart full of stuff and put it in there while I grab Mags?"
He nodded, "Of course."
"Thanks!"
They both headed inside the barn. Steve grabbed the grey cart and loaded it into the bed of the truck while Axelia led Magnum into the trailer. She secured him inside before closing the trailer door, "That should be it. Shall we go get Buck and Cora?"
Steve looked down the road, in the direction the other two left in and saw Cora heading towards them. Bucky was standing in the middle of the road, watching her, as if trying to piece together pieces of a puzzle, "Looks like we don't have to."
