Hey guys!
Sorry this took so long to make, I've been a bit busy with school, studying and etc. You know the drill.
Enjoy!
Rey held onto Han as they sunk into the sand and then landed in a cave. She quickly checked on him and was glad to see he wasn't hurt, only startled. "Poe, Finn? Guys?" She called out. They had ran away from the First Order troops on hoverbikes but in the process, crashed. They'd landed in a field of sinking sand.
"Over here. Is Han okay?" Finn asked, Poe was behind him along with Chewie and the droids.
"Yeah, he's fine. We're fine."
"I don't now wanna know what made these caves." Poe looked around. From the patterns on the walls it was clear that the tunnels hadn't been made by natural causes.
"Judging by the walls I would say-" C-3PO spoke in his usual haughty voice.
"I said I did not. Not." Poe repeated crossly. They began walking through the tunnels. Rey activated her lightsaber to provide some light. It thrummed in her palm, sending vibrations up her arm. "Oh look!" C-3PO stood by the old wreckage of a hoverbike. He was pointing to a strange symbol. "It's the Jedi Hunter symbol."
"It must be Ochi's." Finn examined it. "He must've been running to his ship and the same thing that happened to us, happened to him."
"Then how'd he get out?" Poe asked.
"I don't think he did." Rey looked at a dusty skeleton.
"Bones, I hate bones." Finn said, sounding like he wanted to barf.
"Bones, never a good sign." The golden humanoid-droid commented. BB-8 rolled across the ground. "What is it BB-8?"
He used a small robotic hand to brush the sand off a dagger. "What is this?" With one hand on her son's head, feeling his soft black hair, she used the other hand to trace the strange symbols on the dagger.
"Let me see." C-3PO held out his hand and Rey gave him the dagger. "It's appears that the location of the Wayfinder has been inscribed in this dagger."
"Can you translate it?"
"Unfortunately, no."
"What? Why not?"
"It is against my programming to read aloud anything written in Sith."
"Great!" Poe through his hands up in anger. As he did so a large form burst out of one of the tunnels.
Dust flew in all directions are large yellow eyes stared at the group. C-3PO ran in the opposite direction in fear. "Serpent! Serpent!" There was an epic stare off and Rey's heart hammered in her chest. Han felt her worry and began crying. No, she wouldn't let her son die here in the lonely caves under the sand. "Poe, hold him and this."
She handed both Han and her lightsaber over. Poe took it but looked worried. "Rey-"
But the padawan was already edging her way forward, she'd noticed something. The serpent was bleeding. She placed her small hand on the wound and the serpent hissed. She didn't look away from his golden eyes and instead focused on sharing her energy by sending in running through her arm and into the snake. The serpent's hissing stopped and she glanced down at the now-healed wound.
"Hisss..." It blinked before slithering away. The wall crumbled down as it moved, revealing an exit. BB-8 rolled over and gave a few confused beeps. "I transferred a bit of life into it."
"Bweep, bweep."
"You would've done the same thing." They didn't waste anytime as they all ran out and Poe passed Han to Chewie. Ochi's ship was close by. "Thank the mother of moons!" Rey sighed and they all ran towards in. Once they made it inside, Rey couldn't shake the feeling that she had seen this ship somewhere before. The interior was covered in cobwebs and small rat-like creatures scurried left a right.
There was only one word to describe its condition. Repulsive. Chewie rocked the still crying infant. The familiar feeling once again swept over Rey. Ren was hear. "Rey where are you going?" Finn asked as she walked outside. Poe struggled with the controls.
"I'll be back, soon. Trust me."
Kylo drove his Tie Silencer with a great determination. He knew Rey was waiting for him and when he spotted her, it annoyed him how she didn't cower in fear. Instead she face him head on, lightsaber activated as he flew closer and closer. The anger burned inside of him like a fire ready to devour everything in his path. 'You will join me!' He shouted through their connection.
She didn't reply.
This just continued to fan the flames of his frustration. As he gained closer she began to run. Yes, this was the reaction he wanted. But then she jumped. Looking through his newly-fixed mask he tried to follow her movement. Luke's lightsaber sliced through one of his Tie's wings. Almost immediately the ship was off balance.
The crash made him feel sick and surprised him. He sat in the wreckage, stunned. He should've known. She was smart and he'd let his anger blind him. Cursing he got up. He heard voices in the distance. Finn, the traitor. "Rey! They got Chewie and Han! They got them!"
Han? His son. Not only had his knights retrieved his father's co-pilot, they'd gotten him his son. But his good mood was spoiled when he saw Rey, with her hand held out towards the transporter, tugging it with the force. The transport ship tried fighting against he hold but she had the determination of a mother who wanted her child back.
Kylo saw her gritting her teeth in the effort and he too raised his hand. Using his connection with the darkside of the force to tug it away from her. 'You can join me you know?' He spoke again through their connection. 'Join me and we can raise our son together.'
'Quiet!' She shot back.
'You know there's darkness in you. You know it's true. You know why the Emporer's looking for you.'
'Shut up!'
Kylo could feel the anger inside her growing and he continued to poke at it. 'He sent Ochi to get you, but your parents wouldn't say where you were. So he gave the order-'
He knew that he'd unlocked her memories and he too could see them. A young Rey being hugged by her parents before they were taken away. 'Why?'
'He was after you, because he sensed your power. You don't just have power Rey, you have his power... he's your grandfather. You, are a Palpatine.'
'No...'
The ship shook viciously.
'My mother was the daughter of Vader, your father was the son of the Emporer. What Palpatine doesn't know, is that we are a dyad in the force Rey. Two, that are one.'
'Shut up!'
'Our son in the blood connection of two powerful Sith and the child of a dyad-' He never got to finish as Rey gave a pain filled cry and a blue light shot out from her fingers. It slithered towards the transporter which exploded on impact.
"No!" Rey shouted in a shrill voice falling onto her knees. Kylo couldn't help but shout too.
"Rey!" Finn was pulling his friend away as she fought to get to the crumbling wreckage.
"Han! Chewie!"
Kylo watched as Ochi's ship flew off past the atmosphere of the boiling planet. "Han..." The words escaped his lips without him even knowing.
Poe and Finn talked with C-3PO trying to figure out how to access the dagger's message from C-3PO's memory. Rey was sitting alone. She didn't want to speak to anyone. She'd lost control. Now both Chewie and her son were...
And she was Palpa-
Tears formed in her eyes and she brought her knees to her chest.
"The Knights of Ren are tracking the small Resistance crew as we speak." General Hux explained. "On Pasaana we lsot numerous troops, a transport was destroyed-"
"I've read the reports Hux, is that all you have to tell me?" Pryde replied.
Kylo looked out the window at the stars far away. His son was gone. The one person other than Rey who could understand him and stay by his side. The son he never got to see. He could feels Rey's presence. A small ball of light within an ocean of darkness. He wanted nothing more than to snuff it out and take the remains.
"No, we had another transport. It brought back a valuable prisoner." The masked man turned around.
"Prisoner?"
General Hux took them to the transport. A familiar Wookie was wrapped in chains. "The beast used to fly with Han Solo." Hux said to Pryde and Chewbacca growled at him before releasing a roar. "He was found with these." A Stormtrooper held up Chewie's belongings, including the dagger.
"And this." Another trooper held exactly what Kylo was hoping for. A small infant, with his dark black hair and his mother's hazel eyes. "A baby." Hux hissed and Kylo glared at him through his mask. The man was lucky he hadn't already choked him to death. "Watch your tongue there Hux, you're talking about my heir."
Hux went a shade paler than his usually pasty colour. "Follow the Knight's co-ordinates, I'll take him from here."
The Stormtrooper handed over Han. "What's his name?" Pryde asked curiously.
Kylo hesitated. Han would not be a respected name in the First Order, but it was name his mother had given him. "His name is Han." Pryde looked up. Kylo did not consider himself a Solo, so Han would not get the Solo name. "Han Ren." Kylo could feel the revolt run off the general in waves but he ignored it.
"I will be in my chambers, see to it that I am not disturbed until we have reached the Resistance Crew."
"Yes, sir."
Kylo didn't look away from his son. Who was silent in his arms, but stared up at him with his big hazel eyes, just like his mother's. As they entered his chambers, little Han lightly pulled on Kylo's finger, tugging the glove slightly.
He felt an pulse of energy pass from the child and into him. Yes, his son was incredibly strong with the Force. "Welcome, my son."
