Landing on a cliffiside overlooking the sea, Raven picked up a handful of rocks and began aggressively throwing them over the edge. He was frustrated. How could Enterprise not see his true purpose, his reason for existence? To accomplish victories and to win wars. But most of all, to utilize his advanced arsenal of weaponry to ensure elegant and graceful death and destruction.

On his last rock, Raven wound up his arm and threw it as far as he could. But he then felt sore. Looking over, he saw a scorch mark on his right wing. It seems the Sirens got in a lucky shot. Nothing felt nor appeared damaged, but it stung like hell.

Behind, he heard the familiar clanking of geta, or wooden slippers, behind him. It was Akagi and Kaga, coming to check on Raven.

Quickly, Raven tucked his wing away, hiding his injury. He kept his back turned on the Sakura carriers, facing the sea and setting sun.

"If you two came to ask for an apology out of me, don't bother. I firmly stand by my words."

Raven felt two arms wrap around his neck. Akagi embraced him from behind, her warm body in contact with his back and wings.

"Don't worry, my little Raven. Nobody is asking you to apologize."

She glanced and saw Raven's injury.

"But you need to be more careful, okay? After all, our love can only help you so much."

She let go and left.

Turning around, Raven asked Kaga, "Does she do that a lot?"

Kaga sighed. "You have no idea." She followed her sister, leaving Raven alone once again.

During his construction, Raven was implanted with the knowledge of Strangereal's bloody and barbaric past. The Belkan War. The Continental War. The Emmerian-Estovakian War. The Lighthouse War. The idea was that he would be able to study past strategies and tactics. But, even across the ages, he could feel the hatred. The anger. The despair and the horror. That is what all these wars had in common, and why war never changes.

And now, the Sirens.

Perhaps their arrival was a blessing. Wiping humanity clean off Strangereal certainly ended the possibility of any more wars, with nobody left to wage war against.

But still. Raven remembered the atrocities they committed. How every form of life, not just the people, but the plants and animals, were snuffed out or endured pain. It made him sick and flaming with fury.

A cherry blossom pedal floated into Raven's hair. He removed it looked at it resting in his palm.

Then there were the ships.

Why did they care about him? They didn't even know who he truly was. And this love. Did he have any for them? No. All he wished for is the eradication of those monsters. To ensure none remain standing.

Raven cried out, loud enough so that the whole island could hear. He transformed and skyrocketed into the orange sky. He flew into the sunset, on the hunt for more Raven blood.

Just his luck. He found another Siren fleet, even larger than the last one. But it was the fleet's commander that caught his eye.

It was the Siren named Purifier. Apparently, she came close to killing Enterprise when she took the Orochi's missile down.

Doesn't matter. The girls saw her as a dangerous psychotic threat. Raven saw her as a warmup.

He dived down, firing missiles, but apparently, she knew, because she deflected them with ease.

Raven pulled up and came back around for another attack, dodging Purifier's bullets while doing so. Then, she jumped above Raven and landed on top of him, grabbing on.

"Damn it! Get off!"

"C'mon, cowboy! Let's go for a ride!"

No matter how many times Raven spun in circles, how high or low he flew, or how steep his turns, climbs and dives were, Purifier stuck on like glue.

Eventually he shook her off by transforming into his human form. They stood face-to-face above the clouds.

Raven armed his weapons and smiled. "Congratulations, Siren. You have the privilege of being the first head that I mount on my wall."

Purifier laughed uncontrollably. "Try me, cowboy."

With lightning speed, she dashed towards him. Raven locked on with his missiles and raised his left arm to fire, but it was too late. In a blink, she severed his arm just above the elbow.

Raven barely glimpsed his severed limb falling towards the ocean. His anger and bloodlust blocked the pain out. He blocked another slash.

Knowing he must go on the offensive now, Raven fired his wrist-mounted gatling gun at Purifier's face. His intent wasn't to do damage, but to distract her while he went in for the finale.

After blocking his bullets, Purifier noticed that Raven wrapped his arms around her shoulders. Activating his afterburners, he dived down towards the water.

"Ha! You realize that we're both gonna die crashing into the water. It'll be like hitting concrete!"

"Well, see, that's just it. You're the only one who's dying."

At the last second, Raven let Purifier go and kicked her downwards before she could react.

SPLASH.

Looking down at Purifier's motionless body, Raven admired his handiwork with a soft laugh.

By the time Raven returned to base, it was night. The stars and moon were pretty, reflecting off the surface.

He kicked the headquarters doors in. Enterprise was still there, sitting at her head desk, along with Belfast, Prince of Wales, Nagato, Ayanami, Prinz Eugen and Z23.

"Welcome, Raven. We were wondering where you went. You had us all worried." Belfast said.

Remaining silent, Raven walked towards Enterprise.

"Raven… your arm. What happened?" Prince of Wales noticed. The other girls gasped at the sight of Raven's missing appendage.

Still saying nothing, he continued towards the Gray Ghost.

When Raven was right in front of Enterprise, she stood up. He revealed Purifier's severed head from under his cape and slammed it down on the desk. Even the phantom had a surprised face.

Purifier's head began to laugh. "Oh, baby! You sure are something, Raven!"

Turning around, still not speaking a single word, Raven left. Deciding his injuries could wait until morning, he went to his quarters for some shuteye.

The next morning, Raven skipped breakfast and headed to see Vestal.

"Good morning," Raven greeted as he arrived at the docks. "Well, prepare to have a field day, Vestal."

Instead of excited, Vestal simply sighed. "I heard about what happened. Congratulations, Raven. You have officially surpassed Enterprise to become the most stubborn and reckless member of Azur Lane. Let's get started."
