A few days passes and Alphonce had notice how tense everyone was, Russel was busy talking with a few people on his personal phone to book a gig, Noodle and 2D were stuck trying to figure out a way to pay their new stack of bills, and Kim was stuck on the home phone trying to reason with the social worker. Jacob and Cyborg volunteer again and lend a hand to take Alphonce and Stuart out for the day. Jacob didn't mind helping since Cyborg still had a few bugs to fix in her program. He worked long and hard to perfect Cyborg better than he had found her the first time. Finding new pieces to fix her wasn't easy, he wasn't trying to put together a robot bodyguard, he was working to give Cyborg to feel more human.
"Big brother Jacob," Alphonce spoke to him.
"Yes, Alphonce," Jacob answered.
"Is mommy in trouble?" Alphonce asked.
"What? No, she's just busy." Jacob told him.
"But she doesn't sleep anymore. She's walking around in her room and I hear her talking to herself." Alphonce told Jacob looking worry. The very thought of his new mother getting into some trouble. He felt an illness in him telling Alphonce that it's all his fault. He sadly looks down at his feet, "It's my fault. I'm the one that gets her into trouble."
"What? No, of course not, Alphonce." Jacob got down on his knees and told Jacob to look him in the eyes. "Listen, she's trying to settle a few problems that other people are testing her about being a good mother. It's nothing for you to worry about." He spoke carefully to his younger brother.
"But it is!" Alphonce stomped his foot on the sidewalk. "It is MY fault! I cause everyone trouble." Alphonce's hair spiked up. "If it wasn't for me nobody would be having any trouble. Uncles Russel and 2D and Aunt Noodle are stuck working. They're not musicians anymore. Daddy wouldn't like that! You're stuck with fixing Cyborg because daddy said you liked her and it's my fault she got broken in the first place because Gregory was mad at me and took it out on her!"
Jacob stood in shock from what Alphonce told him, "Alphonce, we're all in this together. We would never blame you for anything."
He places a hand on Alphonce, but was hit back. "No, you're wrong," Alphonce spoked in angry tone. "NO! YOU ALL HATE ME! IT'S BETTER THAT I GET AWAY!"
"Alphonce!" Jacob
Cyborg and Stuart, who were ahead of Jacob and Alphonce, stop when they turn to see Alphonce storm off from Jacob and ran pass between them. Jacob hurried after him. They joined after him to see what was happening. Alphonce didn't stop, not even at a crosswalk. Jacob yelled and shouted Alphonce to watch out for the speeding car, but miraculously Alphonce made it to the other side. He stopped and turns to see the others stuck at the other end while a traffic of cars kept driving by while the light was still green. Jacob was trying to force the light to change quickly, pressing on the crosswalk button on the pole, but Alphonce was already gone.
They looked around to see where Alphonce might have ran off to, "This is bad," Jacob look worry thinking about his younger brother out alone in the world.
"He went down there, but my sensors fade a bit. I can't read where he'll end up in." Cyborg pointed toward the direction where Alphonce ran off.
"Well it's out best shot. Search everywhere if we have to, we can't lose him," he told her.
"Is Alphonce going to be okay? I've never seen him looked that upset," Stewart asked as he held Cyborg's hand.
"It's going to be all right. Jacob knows this route. It's where his father took him a lot as a kid," Cyborg announced.
Jacob was shocked, that Cyborg remembered something about him in her memories. He tried everything to fix her memory storage, but it wasn't working all the time. Even with the new parts he installed into her, the program wouldn't accept it.
"Cyborg," Jacob spoke quietly to her, "How did you?" Cyborg interrupts, "You told me in the lab."
Jacob was amazed more than ever about Cyborg's recovering memory. "Jacob, we can't stand around, we need to find Alphonce before we lose him," Cyborg orders him. "Come on, we'll follow you, lead the way."
Jacob nods and lead the others to the direction where Alphonce ran off towards. The further they went straight into this route Jacob soon remember that Cyborg was right. This was in the normal pathway where Murdoc once took Jacob as boy. There was a large park, bigger than the average park size, but it ends near a small forest where parents would forbid their kids to enter for fear they would get lost.
