Returning to his room, Raven sat down at his desk. He began preparations for Longshot.

All the submarines were already out searching for the island. Albacore, I-19, U-96 and U-47 were believed to be on the correct course, followed by the rest.

Now, Raven had to come up with a plan for the next phase when the subs find the island.

The next morning, he delivered it to Enterprise.

The idea would be that Raven would use his stealth technology to fly in undetected. Once in range, he would destroy the Sirens' radar and communications station, blinding them and rendering them unable to call in reinforcements for the destroyers that would sneak in and take the bombs. As they got in and out, he would be drawing their fire and attention towards the opposite side of the island. The siren commander Tester was also said to be stationed there, so taking her out would be a bonus.

"Well, it seems like you're just in time," Enterprise said. "Report came in a couple minutes ago that U-81 found the island."

"Really, Is she sure?" Raven sounded excited.

"She came across some Siren swine testing the bomb out at sea and followed them back," Bismarck said, behind Raven. "Trust me, she's right. She reported the coordinates here." Bismarck pointed to an atoll near Raven's prediction.

"Alright, let's prepare the destroyers. I want Fletcher, Javelin, Ayanami, Z-23, Z-35, Z36 and Yukikaze."

"Very well, I'll summon them," Prince of Wales said, walking over to the PA announcer.

The seven destroyers entered and sat down. Raven sat down with them. After briefing he said, "You seven are some of the best we have. If everything goes to plan, your contribution will further our efforts to take these Sirens out."

At sunset, the seven destroyers left the dock and sailed out, the entire base waving goodbye from shore. Raven stood of Javelin's deck, instead of flying.

They sailed for a couple hours, until Raven suddenly ordered all seven to halt. By now, night had fallen.

"We are just out of range of their radar. This is where I take off and I play my part. Remain here until I give the order."

The seven of them nodded.

"Uh, Raven?" Ayanami asked.

He turned around.

"How do we get in to where the bombs are?"

Raven thought for a minute.

"Well, from what Akagi and Kaga told me, they hid Orochi in a cave underneath the Sakura Empire. I would guess to look for a cave entrance on the shore. But if I find it, I'll be sure to tell you. Any other questions?"

The girls silently shook their heads.

"Very well, then. May the azure lanes bless you."

He flew into the air and took off, appearing like a blazing shooting star in the night sky.

He arrived over the island. He saw the Sirens going about their daily lives below, including Tester.

"Poor savages have no idea," Raven said to himself.

He dived down, firing his ADMM at the radar and comms buildings, along with defensive positions and even the headquarters of the island.

As the missiles hit their targets, Raven pulled up just above the water, and noticed a cave entrance.

"Girls, I located the cave, it's on the western sector of the island. Avoid the eastern sector, I'll distract them there," he radioed.

The destroyers picked up speed and landed on the beach. Thanks to Raven's observation, they found it with no trouble. One by one, they entered the darkness.

Meanwhile, Raven was dodging Siren anti-air fire and missiles. Some got close, but none hit.

"Gonna have to try harder than that," he taunted. He dived and fired his EML. The projectile penetrated through the roof of the fuel storage and detonated, creating a large explosion.

"It's just one plane! Shoot him down already!" Tester yelled.

Meanwhile, the seven destroyers found the room where the bombs were being kept. However, it was locked behind a door that needed a mental cube to enter.

"Now what?" Z-23 asked. We don't have any mental cubes with us.

Ayanami used her sword and cut the lock on the door. It sparked and the door opened.

"Huh. That was easy," Z-Thatcher said.

There were dozens of the bombs, lined on racks that stacked up to the roof.

"Whoa. This is way more than I thought," Javelin said. "I'll contact Raven."

She switched to her radio.

"Raven, we found the bombs, but there are way too many for us to take back. What do we do?"

She could hear gunfire and explosions in Raven's background.

"Alright. Take what you can carry. Fall back to a far distance, then I'll detonate whatever is left in the cave and blow it to kingdom come."

"I'll hold them," Javelin said. She left the cave and returned to the beach to cast her ship into the water. There, she guided the others to place the bombs on her deck.

"Careful, this is unstable and dangerous cargo," Z-23 warned.

By the end of the transport, the destroyers were able to take enough so that each carrier's B-29 would have a bomb, but even so, there were three-quarters of these bombs left.

Seeing they were at a safe distance, Raven lined up and fired a missile straight down the cave. He reversed and flew as fast and as far as he could in the few seconds he had left.

"NO!" Tester shouted.

A second later, all he saw was white. The combined force of dozens of bombs completely engulfed them.

Then came the shockwave.

The extreme force flung Raven around like a rag doll. The roaring wind was deafening, so loud Raven couldn't even hear himself shouting. He turned into his human form and used his ankle engines to stabilize himself.

Raven then felt that his feet were wet, as if he was wading in water. But that was impossible. He was at an altitude of 100 feet.

After it all cleared, He saw a tsunami that rippled around the atoll. That would explain his wet feet.

Speaking of the atoll, it was completely gone. As if it never existed. All that was in its place was the sea.

The girls. He remembered. He flew around, calling out for them.

He spotted a single destroyer bobbing up and down in the rough waves. Flying down, he saw that they were still on Javelin's deck.

"Oh, thank god," he whispered. "Is everyone okay?" he asked.

Six of them were gathered around one lying on the ground. Raven saw that it was Fletcher. She was badly burned and her rig was heavily damaged.

"What happened?" he asked.

"She must've been caught in the blast," Z-36 said.

Raven picked her up in his arms.

"I'll take her back to base. You guys continue to sail back. I'll leave Hugin and Munin as fighter cover."

The girls nodded while Raven launched his UAVs. They climbed and circled above the little fleet.

Transforming, Raven placed Fletcher atop his back, behind his cockpit, and ignited his afterburners.

"Stay with me," he called to her, her breathing shallow and weak.

Contacting HQ, he radioed, "Home base, this is Raven. Fletcher is seriously wounded and in need of urgent medical attention. This is an emergency. I need a repair ship at the dock for my return."

It only took a few minutes before Raven saw the lights and land of base. He reverted, carrying Fletcher, and placed her onto a stretcher Akashi set up. The two of them rushed Fletcher to the dock.

Raven, praying she'd be alright, turned to see a large crowd. It was late, and by now, everyone should've been asleep. But they were all lined at the docks, worried for their comrade. The Eagle Union ships were more distraught than the others.

"Don't worry, Fletcher is in good hands," Raven said, trying to ease their anxiety. It seemed to help, at least somewhat.

Deep down, he began to wonder if this plan would truly work. He didn't want anyone else to suffer Fletcher's fate.

Then, they waited for the six others to return. Eventually they did, and with the help of the manjuu, the bombs were safely stored for the operation.

"Now, it's time for the bombers," Raven said as Hugin and Munin returned to his body. "I'll take care of this personally."
