She was in the right place. Below she could see the Falcon parked and beginning to sink into the snow. The X-Wing aircraft, which was used for flight training at the temples, was not built for the ongoing blizzard and almost blew into the Falcon before landing.

She climbed out, grabbing her cloak and wrapping it carelessly over her shoulders. It did nothing to block out the cold but it did stop the flecks of ice from hitting her chest and shoulders. The snow was to thick for her to lift her feet out of it so she shuffled forward at an agonisingly slow pace.

By the time she reached the Falcon the wind had only gotten worse.

She opened the door and begun to search the ship. "Han!" She called out. "Han! Cam! Are you here?" No response. Her knees felt weak as she stared out the window into the storm. The blizzard was so strong that even her own fresh footprints had disappeared completely.

Han wouldn't have gone out there in that weather, he wouldn't have he... he defiantly would have. Rey knew her son and she remembered the determined look in his eye at Jido's hideout.

Worry sent a cold sweat down her back, even colder than the snow outside. The map Jido had given her didn't show where exactly Ben was hiding on the vast snow planet and she guessed that Han's map was the same. Which meant the two boys were wandering endlessly somewhere out there.

"Oh, Han. What have you gotten yourself into?"

It had taken all Cam had to not to follow Han's lead and collapse in the snow.

Weakly, he followed after the stranger who was wrapped head to toe in suitable clothing for the subzero temperatures. His home wasn't too far, thankfully. But the journey there was hell. With the stranger carrying the freezing, unconscious Han in his arms, Cam followed him inside the door that was built into the side of a small, snow covered hill.

The boy's groan rung through the burrow. It was so warm. There were no windows but at least three fireplaces burning in the fire room, which was large and round. The walls were lined with metal but the floor was covered in carpets.

By one of the fireplaces, in which a single armchair sat, a long spotted Loth-cat watched them with tiny brown eyes. It purred and in doing so showed off its sharp teeth. Cam had seen a few Loth-cat's before. They were supposidly quite friendly, yet still well known hunters and a little territorial.

"I don't know what we would have done if you hadn't found us." Cam said, rubbing his arms for extra warmth while the strange placed Han in the armchair beside the Loth-cat.

"What were you two boys doing out there?" The stranger muffled from underneath all his layers which he began to peel off one by one.

"My friend and I are looking for someone." Cam said then froze. Had he really just said 'friend'? "But we got lost." The strange pulled off his cloak, but a clothe hid most of his face. Before he removed it he walked over to his tiny kitchen area and returned with a cup of what looked like tea.

Cam happily took it, enjoying the warmth of it on his fingers. "Thank you-" He cut short when the stranger remove the cloth from his face. The man looked just like... Han!

Streaks of jet black hair fell down and stopped just above his shoulders, his chin was slightly stubbled, his features were angular, but his eyes were black instead of golden hazel like Han's. But they both held the same mysterious and independent vibe. The man's skin was pale and although Han's was usually tan like his mother's, it too was white from the cold though was beginning to regain some colour.

"It's you. You're Han's father!"

Ben's eyes flicked to his son still lying snug in the armchair, his eyes closed gently. "I was unsure of whether he'd come. He had ever reason not to." He looked back to Cam who was holding his cup tightly. There was a strong sensation that surrounded the ex-Supreme Leader. A strong tremor in the Force that warned Cam that although the man appeared tired and frail, he was an powerful opponent.

"I must say I was expecting him to come with his mother, not a fellow Padawan."

Cam's head tilted downwards slightly. "Yeah... There ere a few bumps along the way."

"I see." Ben replied thoughtfully, leaning above the fireplace. The Loth-cat purred, rubbing his head on Ben's boots lovingly. Han jerked up, sucking in a quick breath and blinking in the warm light. He gazed around the room. His eyes first reached Cam and squinted a little as the Padawan's eyes kept flicking to the right.

He followed his stare and his heart stopped.

It was like he was looking in a mirror at an older version of himself. There were some small differences between the father and son. Han's mouth become dry and he realised now was probably the time to say something. He'd been preparing for this moment for days, but all his sentence staters had blown away in the blizzard.

His lips separated but froze in an open position.

Ben smiled, looking at his son's face. He could see hints of Rey in him, he'd missed them both so much. He had tried picturing what his son would look like several times in the fifteen years that had passed. He'd had no pictures to refer to, only his memories and the last time he'd seen Han he was no more than a year old.

"Han." He spoke softly and his hand raised to the boy's cheek. He had his mother's eyes. Oh how he missed those eyes. "Look how much you've grown."

Han released a single laugh and a tear formed in his eye.

"I've missed you so much, son."

Cam watched two silently in a kind of trance but then he pulled himself back into reality. This was a murderer of millions crouching in front of his friend- accomplice. Cam's hand fell to his weapons belt where his finger grazed his lightsaber handle.

That's when the father and son hugged and his whole right arm tensed.

'Do it!' The voice in his head edged him on. 'Do it now!'

"I-" His voice was barely audible.

'He's a traitor! A murderer! Your father's leader. This was your plan, this is why you came after all!'

"No." He fought back, walking away, appearing to be giving the two some space but instead fighting the voice in his mind. "I won't."

Han clung to his father as if his life depended on it, which it defiantly felt like. He didn't want to let go but did when his father released him and stared deeply into his eyes. "I didn't think you were going to come."

"Of course did. I wanted to meet you my whole life, you are the only one who can help me... who can truly understand me."

That's when Ben's expression changed. "Where's Rey- your mother?"

"Haaaaan!" Rey voice cracked from the cold. She tried searching through the Force to find him but she was so weak. Her legs were threatening to give out from under her and her fingers ached from cling the cloak close to her body.

She shuffled as fast as she could against the wind but was becoming weaker and weaker by the second. "Han... Han..." Her eyes drooped. But no, she had to keep moving. He was ut there, probably in worse shape than she. If she stopped now he would die.

But if she continued, so would she. Ben was out there somewhere. She prayed that if she didn't find their son and Cam, he would. "Han..."

Thud!

She was on her hands and knees, her cloak blew from her fingers and into the sky. Disappearing from sight. And with it went her hope. She wanted to cry, but her tears froze before they could fall. Her fingers dug into the snow painfully.

She knew what would become of her. But what would become of her temple? Her students? What would happen to them when she left? She'd left Finn and Chewie to protect them, but now they had no Master. "Masters... I'm sorry." She called up. "I failed you all. I'm sorry... sorry..."

Crunch... Crunch... Crunch... Crunch...

The sound was soft and Rey almost missed it. But as her head raised shakily she saw the tall figure standing above her. It wasn't Han, he was too big and was draped in a long black cloak. "Ben? Is that you?"

The voice that responded was male, computer-like and hateful. "No." Rey stared in fear at the metal face glaring down at her. A hand reached down to her neck and held her up in the air by the throat. "But you will tell me where to find him, and your Sith-spawn son too."
