Raven smiled. He tore his jacket and cape off, assuming a fighting stance.
Without saying a word, Observer fired her cannons. Raven, quick on the draw, dodged the orange blasts.
"You think you can defeat me?" Observer taunted.
"I don't think so. I know so. And I'm not going to just defeat you, but kill you."
Raven launched three missiles at Observer. They hit their target, obscuring her in black smoke.
When the smoke cleared, Observer remained standing, taking no damage.
"It's gonna take a little more than some tiny missiles to beat me!"
"Good. If that was all it took, I would've been disappointed."
Revealing his EML railguns, Raven locked on and charged them up. However, knowing what was coming, Observer dodged and reached out with her tentacles.
Raven flew upwards but fell right into her trap. He lost track of her other tentacles, which slipped behind him and wrapped themselves tightly.
"We've got to help him," Enterprise said weakly.
A hand dropped in front of her face. Looking up, Enterprise saw the silhouette of a girl. Her blonde hair flowed down to her waist. Her captain hat and sailor girl uniform, made up of a dark jacket and short white skirt, bore the Eagle Union emblem. Behind her was her gear, that of a carrier deck, but it was larger than any carrier, along with different aircraft, F6Fs and SB2Cs.
"Hi. I'm Midway. You must be the legendary Big E, it's an honor to meet you. Here. I got you."
Enterprise took her hand and got back on her feet. Looking at one another, they nodded.
Meanwhile, on another part of the battlefield, two ships helped the Sakura Empire girls, including Akagi and Kaga.
"On behalf of the Sakura Empire, allow us to thank you," Kaga said. She and Akagi bowed to the strangers.
"Oh, it's no biggie," the one on the left said. She wore long, white hair and a sleeveless red kimono. Her obi had a sakura flower on its front. Her feet had wooden geta, much like Akagi. Her gear was massive, sporting huge white turrets, bigger than that of any ship of any camp. In fact, they were so large that she was not standing; she had to sit down on what could be described on a throne draped in red and black.
"I'm Yamato. This is my sister, Musashi."
Musashi appeared identical to Yamato, except her hair, clothing and gear were black. She also carried a large red fan.
"Hey! Guys!"
The four turned towards the shouting. It was Shinano, running over to her sisters.
"Great to see my older sisters," she exclaimed excitedly.
"And it's great to see our younger sister," Musashi replied. She moved her fan aside, revealing a smile.
"Tell you what. Let's defeat these foul monsters, then we can head home together," Yamato proposed. Akagi, Kaga and her sisters nodded.
Meanwhile, Raven was still trapped in Observer's grasp. He unleashed his ADMM. The multitude of missiles broke him free.
One of the missiles managed to hit Observer's right ear, shattering it.
"How bothersome," Observer grumbled. She fired a barrage at Raven. In order to dodge, he transformed, rocketing into the clouds.
"Where are you, my little Raven?" she teased, scanning the overcast sky.
"Right here." It was a whisper behind Observer. Turning around, she felt his boots strike her face.
Reeling in pain, she gestured the remaining Siren forces to charge against Azur Lane. In response, the girls yelled, screaming a battle cry before charging past Raven and into their Siren foes.
"Do you see our power now?" Raven said. "The power of humanity united!" He soared towards her, glowing red with an extended fist.
"You fools. Bow to your overlords!" Observer also jumped, raising a fist of her own.
The two fists met, creating a bright flash of energy.
"Whoa! Can you see that?" Littorio exclaimed, shielding her eyes with her arms.
"I don't just see it, I feel it too!" Gascogne replied.
"Their energies… it's incredible!" Bremerton said.
Raven and Observer remained locked in place, neither wanting to budge.
"Go back to whatever hell you demons came from!" Raven grunted.
"Won't you be coming too? You're one of us, after all," Observer said calmly with a grim smile.
"I don't deny that I'm a Siren. But I'm more than that. Better than that!"
Raven was able to power through, eventually making contact with Observer's face. The strike was strong enough to knock her onto her back.
Wiping her mouth of blood, Observer looked up to see Raven diving, firing his PLSLs from above.
"RAGHHHHH!"
She unleashed her tentacles, catching him. Once again, Raven was encased.
"You never learn, do you?" Observer mocked.
"Look up, and see," Raven said.
She did so, and saw Hugin and Munin, firing at her. To protect herself, Observer had to wrap herself with her tentacles, forced to let Raven go.
Transforming his hand into his blade, Raven thrusted deeply into Raven's belly. The leader of the Sirens sobbed in pain.
"I'm putting an end to this right now!" Observer cried. Revealing a black mental cube, she inserted it into her wound. She began to yell, a purple and yellow aura around her body. A strong gust of wind emanated from her, knocking everyone down, except for Raven.
"That's crazy! Her power is off the charts!" Jean Bart said.
"This is insane! What do we do?" Dunkerque asked.
"Die!"
Observer placed her hands together and fired a missile from her palms, straight towards Raven.
"Get down!" Enterprise shouted.
But Raven did not. Instead, he shielded his body with his wings.
Raven and the missile clashed. Straining, Raven used all his strength to resist its force, but it barely budged.
"Oh? Why do you choose this, Raven? To sacrifice yourself for your friends? Such a sign of weakness. Just give up, Raven, and join humanity in their extinction!"
Observer extended her arm, using her power to push the missile forward.
Raven was weakening, he was pushed back by the missile. He cried and yelled with all his might. Suddenly, it went off, consuming him and a red-hot explosion.
When the smoke cleared, Raven's lifeless body fell face-first into the water. His body was covered in numerous burns and injuries. Exposed wires sparked. His head had a gaping gash where his mental cube was visibly flickering, until it went dark.
"Damn it! Raven, no!" Enterprise cried, her voice trembling.
The girls gathered around Raven's body, the Sirens surrounding them in return.
Meanwhile, Raven woke up. Everything was heavenlike, white, bright and warm.
"Where am I? Am I dead?" Raven asked, looking around.
"No, not yet," Amagi said, appearing behind him.
"Where are we?" Raven asked.
"Inside your head. Your memory storage. Your subconscious."
Raven began to pace back and forth quickly.
"Well, never mind that. What do we do now? How do we win?" Raven asked, sounding hopeless.
"If you don't mind, Raven. Please let me tag in. I can handle the rest from here."
