"Alright." Endeavour crossed his arms and let out a long breath. His knee hadn't stopped bouncing since they had sat down. Honestly, he looked about the right combination of confused and angry as Izuku would have expected Fuyumi's father to be. It was just…

Seriously? Endeavour?

Fuyumi sat to his right, smiling at him as though to apologize for everything.

She looked so adorable.

"So." Endeavour grabbed his cup of tea and chugged the whole thing. "You want to run all of that by me again?"

"Big sis went out last night and came back married to Deku, who you're worried is going to take away your second place on the leaderboard, and—" Shoto, Fuyumi's smallest brother, droned on and stared blankly at the cup of tea in front of him.

"Shoto!" Fuyumi flailed her arms in the direction of Shoto. "That's not something that should be brought up at the table and—"

"Oi, Deku." Shoto stretched out his name, a smile creeping up on his face. "Can you sign something for me?"

"Uhh, sure," Izuku muttered and watched Shoto leave the room. What an odd young kid. Still, apparently he wanted to go to U.A. in a few years. So that was good. But was it rude to sign something in front of Endeavour like that?

Then again, it wasn't like Endeavour ever actually signed things. He wasn't exactly the best at PR.

And considering how Izuku spent most of his time tongue-tied during interviews, that was saying something.

"So," Endeavour repeated as he poured himself another cup of tea. Better be some good tea if he was downing it like that. Then again, Fuyumi made it, so it had to be good. "I have several questions."

"I'm sure you do." Fuyumi gave a cute nervous laugh that honestly helped put Izuku at ease.

"First." Endeavour held up his finger and took in a deep long breath. "What the fuck is your quirk?"

Fuyumi looked completely disappointed by that question. "Dad…."

Izuku, for his part, just chuckled and scratched the side of his cheek. There was no way he was going to just say that his quirk was a bunch of quirks rolled into one that had been passed down from person to person and that the previous holder was All Might. "Umm, well, you see, my quirk is a bit, uhh, weird."

"And powerful," Endeavour growled, his knee bouncing again. "And now that you're my son-in-law, I demand an explanation!"

"Dad!" Fuyumi slapped a hand on the table. "Is that really the most important thing right now?"

"Of course!" Endeavour crossed his arms. "I finally have a chance to figure out his quirk!"

"No objections to our marriage?"

"You're an adult and I trust your judgement."

Fuyumi actually looked surprised by that. "I, umm, but, it doesn't bother you that I'm going to be moving out? I mean, who's going to do the dishes? Or cook? Or make sure that Shoto goes to school on time?"

"You act like I'm incapable of those things."

The look on Fuyumi's face told Izuku that was exactly the case. "Well, if you're sure."

"If need be, I can hire a maid and a cook." Endeavour waved her off and then scratched his chin. "Ensuring that Shoto gets proper nutrition might be a good idea, now that you bring it up."

Fuyumi just let out a long dreadful sigh.

He should do something!

Oh right!

Hands!

He reached over and grabbed her hand. She squeezed his hand tightly and gave him a warm, thankful smile that made him feel like everything was going to be okay, which was weird, because honestly, he was trying to reassure her.

"Right, now that that's settled, Deku!" Endeavour roared, his flames bursting out of his head for a moment. "Explain your quirk! Consider it a wedding gift!"

Aren't those supposed to be for the bride and groom?

"Uhh, well." Izuku scratched his cheek and debated dodging the issue like he had done so many times. Then he saw Fuyumi's curious glance. Right, she probably wanted to know as well. "So. uhh, this is going to sound strange, but uhh," good lie, good lie, good lie, "Basically, my quirk is that I have multiple quirks."

That sounded so terrible.

"That's incredible!" Endeavour roared. "That certainly explains how you managed to get into the top three at such a young age! And you're capable of using your quirks well! Very well! Now then, on to more pressing matters!"

There was more?

Endeavour took a deep breath and then looked at them. "Okay, two days and you two are married? I know that I have like zero room to speak, but, just…" Endeavour held out his hand and shook his hand. "The fuck?"

"Uhhh," Izuku began.

"Well, you see," Fuyumi began. "Uhh, Izuku saved me a few days ago from a truck, and his first words were basically 'Do you want to get married, move into a house, and have two kids?' and I said 'Make it three.' and so we've done the first part, but, uhh, sorry for rushing it!"

With a nod and a tight frown that could almost be called a smile, Endeavour gave them their approval. "Very well. I already said I accepted this marriage, but Fuyumi, do me a favor."

"What?"

"Tell your mother about this. She…" There was a pause in Endeavour's words. "She used to love romance stories, and I think your tale would qualify. And you!" Endeavour pointed towards Izuku again. "Make sure you give Fuyumi the family she wants!"

"Yes sir!"

This was not how he expected the conversation to go at all.

XXXX

"Geeze, it kind of feels like you're downgrading by moving in with me." Izuku glanced around Fuyumi's large, traditional-style room. It was easily larger than his bedroom by about a half, and that wasn't even counting the bathhouse that Fuyumi had access to here. That was a goal to reach.

Taking a bath with Fuyumi: the thought of it filled his soul with joy.

"Well," Fuyumi smiled at him as she placed a few more books into one of the many boxes they were going to be carrying to his apartment. As much as they were bringing over it felt like Fuyumi was leaving behind a lot more. "That's just temporary, right?" With a wink that could cure depression and a giggle to add just that extra bit of flare, Izuku found himself blushing up a storm. "We're going to need a house eventually, right?"

"R-right!" Life goal, get a house! They should look for a house! One with a yard! And a bath! A big one! One that they can share! And enough room for all of Fuyumi's stuff! "And then, umm after the house, comes umm."

Fuyumi snapped to look at him, her square glasses almost falling off her face as a blush spread across her face.

"R-right!" Fuyumi nodded, and nodded, "After that, after that, that after, we would umm, after that, we there, umm, would, be umm, cat!"

"Right, the cat! And, umm, the dog!"

"Yes the dog!"

"Hoooooolyyyyyyy shit." Fuyumi's second youngest brother appeared in her door frame. "You two are more hopele—"

Izuku dodged as Fuyumi threw a pillow at Natsuo.

Natsuo did not dodge, and thus received a pillow to the face.

"Mind your own business!"

Izuku made sure to note that Fuyumi could be ever-so-slightly feisty when she was embarrassed.

"Izuku my boy! I uhh, you're uhh. We weren't expecting you over."

Of all the things Fuyumi had expected to see at Izuku's mother's apartment, a shirtless All Might was not one of them.

"Umm, Izuku?"

"Yes?" her husband asked, staring at All Might with wide eyes.

She looked between All Might and her husband for a moment. "Why is All Might here? He's not your father… Right?"

"Ahh!" A soft voice came from inside the building, and a slender, green-haired woman came running out, her arms flailing. "Izuzuzuku! You're here! Early! I thought you weren't going to be here until later and—" she looked towards All might and smacked his chest. "You, put a shirt on!" Izuku's mother flailed her arms again and then looked towards Fuyumi, her eyes widening.

"Mom, why is All Might in your apartment?" Izuku asked, pinching his nose.

"Oh! Well, you see, ever since we met, we've been in contact with each other and well, you know one thing led to another and now he's umm. We've been dating for two years now." Izuku's mother bowed. "Sorry for not telling you sooner! Now, Izuku, please who is this?"

Izuku placed a firm hand on Fuyumi's shoulders and then gestured towards his mother. "Fuyumi, this is my mother, Inko."

"It's a pleasure to meet you ma'am." Fuyumi extended her hand and smiled. Izuku was going to drop the bomb, wasn't he? She glanced towards him and saw his ever-so-slightly spiteful smile.

"Oh, the pleasure's all mine dear. You know, you're the first girl Izuku has brought home. I was starting to worry he was too focused on being a hero to actually bother with dating."

"Mom," Izuku coughed and then smiled. "This is Fuyumi, my wife."

Ahh. And boom goes the dynamite.

"Ehh?" Inko looked between her and Izuku, her eyes going wide. "EHHHHH!?"

Her new mother-in-law promptly passed out.

... Probably!
