Greeting: Storm Jr. has decided to ignore the teachings of the past and go save Leslie.
Everything might not go as easily as before. Let's hope nothing bad happens to Storm Jr.
Keep your fingers crossed. Enjoy!
( Storm Jr. In the garage)
Everyone was in the main hall or somewhere in the Arcade palace. The garage was the only place where there was nobody.
The kids weren't allowed to go there. It was rather dirty and there was tons of equipment in there.
Storm Jr. came in and checked to see if anyone was there against all odds. She was getting huge flashbacks while the silence surrounded her.
" This got you butchered last time. Fail again and no one will come save you", one part of her warned her.
Storm Jr. was aware of the danger and fear was crawling up her spine. The garage was full of stuff, all of which were inanimate objects.
She was alone and her thoughts were free to drift.
" You were just released from Hell and now you want to abandon Heaven already? What the heck is wrong with you, girl?", one part freaked out.
" I have no idea", Storm Jr. answered it.
" Heaven can never exist without Leslie, can it?", one part of her replied to that.
Storm Jr. walked to the empty spot where Faith had been lying.
Since there hadn't been monsters around the pizzeria for a while, she had been able to use the garage.
If anyone had ever wondered what the garage was for, there was the answer.
No one used it but it proved useful every once in a while.
The floor was covered in weird lines that started by the door and ended on the other side of the room. They were black and looked like tire marks.
Someone had been drifting in the room apparently. Storm Jr. knew it made no sense, the room was too small for drifting.
Plus, the marks were straight and drifting would have required turning.
The lines weren't caused by tires either since there were no blank areas in the middle of them.
The marks were caused by something else being dragged across the floor. They were recent too.
" That's impossible. No one has been here except Faith and..Ohhh!", Storm Jr. realised it.
Faith hadn't landed softly on the yard and walked in, not at all. Faith had been tired and just crashed in front of the garage door.
Someone had teleported inside to open the door for the others.
Faith had been so exhausted after the flight. She had dragged herself across the floor and that had left the marks.
The picture, of her crashing, was easy to imagine since Storm Jr. had been on her when she had crashed near the factory.
No wonder the kids had looked dirty and scared.
Being on Faith, while she was crashing, wasn't the best of experiences.
Storm Jr. went to the door and pushed her ear against it. There was nothing outside the pizzeria, or at least she couldn't hear anything.
The monsters weren't the most silent of creatures so she could trust her hearing on this one.
" Just because you can't hear them, doesn't meant there aren't any", Storm Jr. reminded herself.
She wasn't going to keep the door open for very long, just enough to drive out of the room. The door would close by itself after a few seconds.
Storm Jr. wasn't too worried about the monsters coming in. She just had to get the motorcycle and leave.
Storm's motorcycle was inside and Storm Jr. could already see it in a corner.
There was a scarf on the saddle and Storm Jr. intended to take it.
She would drive to the edge of the world to find Leslie. She didn't care if she'd die on the way, it didn't matter at all. She would try despite her past.
She would never learn even if she was led into a trap a billion times.
Leslie was her love and her life and she would never abandon him.
Storm Jr. felt cold as she walked to the motorcycle. It was just like before, the same vehicle and the same garage.
This time, the journey would be dangerous and dark but she would push through.
There was a weird feeling in her stomach. There was an army of Phantoms and beast witches coming their way.
She would definitely come across them at some point. There was no doubt about it, she just felt it in her endoskeleton.
She dragged the motorcycle out of the corner and wiped the dust off it. The metal felt cold and old in her hands.
The saddle was torn up but it mattered very little to her. The tires were as strong as ever, ready to carry her to her destination.
She took the scarf and wrapped it around her neck, which felt really good.
She was the daughter of two Legend wolves who had killed so many enemies.
Some of that was in her as well. She was a killer and a lover.
She was ready to slaughter everything, in her path, to find her one and only. Nothing could stop her.
There was a sword on the back of the motorcycle and it was attached with straps. It was designed to be pulled out very easily.
She would be able to use it if necessary.
Icicles were good and all but not very hard, they were easily broken.
Her core was pounding in her chest as she walked to the garage door. The button was right there in front of her and she was ready to mount the motorcycle.
" Here we finally go. To death and beyond", Storm Jr. took a deep breath.
She was about to press the button but then she was interrupted.
" Well, you certainly won't disappoint", a voice said behind her.
Storm Jr. let go of the motorcycle that fell to the floor, letting out a horrible sound.
She turned around quickly to see the owner of that voice.
" Please be careful with my ride. She is a frail lady", Storm said to her daughter.
Storm was standing by the door, leading to the Arcade palace. She had her arms crossed and her expression wasn't friendly.
That grin was letting Storm Jr. know that she was in trouble.
Storm peered at her daughter's expression and clothes. Storm Jr. was scared and her mouth was open.
She was frozen in place as Storm walked closer.
" I know what you are about to say. This isn't what it looks like, mom. I swear", Storm Jr. told her.
" What is it then, dear? Are you cleaning up my bike perhaps? Taking it out to be fixed?", Storm asked her.
That tone gave away the obvious, Storm Jr. was fooling nobody.
" I am..um..", Storm Jr. stuttered.
" Well, is the answer coming?", Storm asked her and came forward.
" No, mom", Storm Jr. answered like a baby girl after doing something naughty.
She accepted the truth.
" So where are you heading? Sneaking away and driving into the darkness where our enemies lie", Storm asked in a very unfriendly manner.
" I'm going to the airport, nearby. I knew everyone in here would try to stop me but I can't stop. I'm going to get Leslie.
I saw a vision about him", Storm Jr. said determinedly.
Storm shook her head and let out a deep sigh.
" And you thought no one would notice you, sneaking away. Don't forget, we are watching you after what happened", she told Storm Jr.
A sad whimper came out of Storm Jr. and she looked down.
Storm was a Legend wolf so she would hear her thoughts. Storm Jr. hadn't even had a chance to get away.
" I must get him. He needs me so I have to go, mom", Storm Jr. told her mother.
Storm looked her in the eye and snorted angrily.
" Like you had to save him when you heard his voice in your head before?
Like when you had to go to the Legend's hideout on your own and get torn apart? I should just let you go get yourself killed?
Well, I say no! You don't have to go anywhere. So take that scarf off", Storm insisted.
Storm Jr. couldn't say anything to that commanding tone.
Storm even pointed at her to stress her own words.
Poor Storm Jr. took a look at the scarf and let out a sad sigh. She imagined Leslie being at the airport and seeing nothing but the abandoned field.
He would have no way of coming back to the pizzeria. Everyone would die before he ever reached home.
By the time he got there, there would be no pizzeria to go into.
A tear fell down her cheek. It was so slow and small.
Storm looked at her daughter.
" Take it off", she insisted again.
Storm Jr. wiped away the tear with the scarf.
" I can't, mom. If I give up, we all die", Storm Jr. answered her.
Storm went into her head and tried to make her take the scarf off. She was powerful and made Storm Jr. feel pain in her head.
She didn't want to do it but Storm Jr. had to come to her senses.
Storm Jr. was resisting and her arms wouldn't move. If the arms didn't move soon, the agony would kill her.
She was groaning in agony and torment. Storm herself was starting to tear up.
" Give up, darling. The pain will stop if you give up. I know you can't resist the pain, you are no Legend.
Do it as I hate seeing you like this", Storm was almost begging inside her daughter's head.
Storm Jr. was moaning and her body was twitching. It was so painful, Storm wasn't letting go.
She was doing it for Storm Jr., the little wolf had to learn. The pain was horrible but Storm Jr. wouldn't do what she had to for the pain to stop.
" I'll never give up. So go make love with Hank the husky", Storm Jr. told her mother defiantly.
Storm had tears in her eyes and she let go. Storm Jr. was dear to her and bringing her pain was horrible.
Storm hated punishing her babies.
As the pain stopped, Storm Jr. fell to the floor and leaned into the fallen motorcycle. Storm knelt down beside her.
" Just take the scarf off", Storm tried to take it herself.
Storm Jr. held onto it with all the force in her hands. No matter how hard Storm tried, Storm Jr. wouldn't let go.
" Give it to me. Let's go to the main room. Fang and Willa would love to spend time with you. Come!
Let me rock you to sleep, just like when you were little", Storm pleaded.
Storm Jr. looked at her mother and shook her own head.
" I can't. If you bring me pain, I'll tolerate it. If you try to take my scarf or the motorcycle, I'll hold onto them.
If you try to make me yield, I'll fight you. And if you try to take me down by force, I'll kill you", Storm Jr. told her.
That made Storm fall silent completely. Storm Jr. was close to tears but she refused to give in.
" Why would you fight and kill me? I am you mother and you know that I'm doing this for your safety", Storm shook her own head.
She was shocked.
" If I don't kill you, Leslie won't make it here. Then we'll all die anyway. I'll kill you so that dad and Willa may live with the rest of us.
If I don't fight you, your death won't be quick. The beast witches will make sure of that", Storm Jr. answered her.
Storm backed away and let Storm Jr. get up. The pain had made the young wolf so frail and weak.
" It is a trap. We can defend ourselves. We can win. If we can't and the prophecy was right, then we'll die together", Storm warned her.
" This was more than a voice. I saw him and the people, around him. He is coming and I must go get him.
Only he can stop Black and Elleroth. Everyone knows that.
This is the final battle that will finish the Apocalypse", Storm Jr. argued.
" He is dead! We saw him die. We saw how you shoved your icicle through his heart!", Storm shouted at her.
Storm regretted it instantly. She decided to give Storm Jr. some silence so she could burst into tears in peace.
It was so sad, she had just wiped the tear off her face too.
Storm waited but there was no reaction. Storm Jr.'s eyes stayed dry and her expression became serious.
" I know you think I went crazy on that night. Every single one of you thinks Leslie is haunting me.
But I swear to you, I have never been thinking so clearly and rationally", she told her mother.
In order to stress her point, she grabbed the motorcycle and raised it back up.
Storm would have never expected such a reaction from her in a situation like that.
" Whether you like it or not, I am going to the airport and none of you can stop me. I am leaving now.
Next time I come back, Leslie will be sitting behind me. Goodbye!", Storm Jr. farewelled Storm.
Then she pushed the button and the door started to rise.
" Storm Jr.! Wait! I love you and I don't want you to die. You are the sun of my life, baby", Storm told her.
Storm Jr. turned the motorcycle to face to open door. Then she glanced back at the sobbing Legend wolf.
" I know, mom. I know", she smiled at her and started the engine.
The motorcycle launched out of the garage and shot to the road. It drove past Rachel's bus and took the left.
As the door closed on its own, Storm fell to her knees. Storm Jr. was too small and young to die alone.
She would have wanted to at least hug her daughter one last time before death would come to them.
She didn't want to face the army without her two daughters beside her.
Storm Jr. had left very determinedly as she didn't expect her mother to die. Her mother was strong and she would be back with Leslie soon.
Storm Jr. drove with the scarf flailing in the wind, right behind her head.
The engine roared as she sped up and raised the front wheel into the air. The airport was towards the pit but not quite there.
The airport wasn't even close to the pit but it was in that direction, which was concerning.
The Phantoms would be coming from the factory, up in the forest. The monsters, however, would be coming from the pit.
Storm Jr. had to be careful, she was on a mission that couldn't be allowed to fail. Something was telling her that this was the end of the line.
The seers had peered through time and many had seen the following battle.
Most had shut up about the things they had seen. The chaos had penetrated their heads so they had stopped talking about it.
Storm Jr. had no doubt about it, Delilah had seen the final battle and started peering through time.
She had made so many sacrifices and so much blood had been spilled for this to happen.
The Toys being tortured by Jeremy, Bella's death, the rebirth of the Legends, Delilah's death.
Everything had happened so that this battle might take place.
Storm Jr. kept her eyes on the road as she kept on going. She passed the jeep, left by Milla and Fritz.
It was lying on its side and oil had burst out of the tank. She saluted that fallen soldier and sighed.
The road was long and Storm Jr. had no cover there. Someone must have seen her by then.
Storm Jr. froze her hand as she saw a figure, up ahead on the road. The monster jumped at her and tried to rip her throat open.
It was a young child with eyes like those of Betsy. Storm Jr. fell purposely and slid on the ground with her motorcycle.
The monster flew over her and she cut it with her icicles. When that was over, she rose back up and kept on going.
She didn't want to look back as the monster burst open, she had sliced it in half.
That monster had been a greeting, there would be more.
Storm Jr. wouldn't kill all of them but dodge them if possible. But she couldn't feel sad for the incoming children.
They were monsters and Leslie was more important than them.
She grinned as she sped up again and felt the side of the cold sword against her back.
" Hang on, Leslie. This time, I won't fail. This time, our reunion will have a happy ending", she said in her own mind.
( Back at the pizzeria. Storm)
She was walking slowly and sighing as she came to the main room. Chica noticed her first as she was being comforted and snuggled by Felix.
" Storm? Is everything alright?", she got off Felix's lap.
Both Chica and Felix came to the sad wolf who almost fell into Chica's embrace.
Storm was sobbing slightly as Chica petted the back of her head.
" There, there. Take it easy, Storm", Chica calmed her down.
Storm would tell them the truth but she had to calm down first.
Fang, Willa, Scarlett, Foxy and Crystal came to them as well. They were coming closer but Felix blocked their way.
" Give her space to breathe, guys. She is upset", Felix told the others.
They took a step back as Chica wiped Storm's tears.
" There you go, dear. Can you tell us what's wrong? You look like someone just died", Chica asked her.
Storm was reluctant to tell but then Willa came to her.
" What's wrong, mom? Please, tell us", she insisted.
Storm patted Willa on the head and her ears drooped.
" Storm Jr.'s gone. She took off with my motorcycle", Storm told Willa and pushed her forehead against hers.
" Gone? She just took off? Oh no! What has she gotten herself into now?", responded Crystal.
" It must be about that freaking Leslie again. That stupid dead guy is going to get my innocent daughter killed", Fang grinned in anger.
" Don't presume, Fang. Take it easy, we can go get her with Faith", Foxy calmed him down.
" No! Please don't!", Storm exclaimed in fear.
The two male pirates looked at her weirdly.
" We can't just let her go. Faith is exhausted but she can't have gotten very far", Foxy told Storm.
" She said, she'd kill her if she followed. Storm Jr. will fight back and Storm doesn't want her to get hurt", Scarlett read Storm's thoughts.
" That is about Leslie, isn't it, Storm?", Fang grinned.
Storm nodded and groaned.
" She thinks Leslie will show up at an airport, towards the north. She had a vision where he called her", Storm told Fang.
" That is wonderful. Hasn't she done that before though?", Crystal said jokingly.
Felix and Foxy gave her a scary look, which shut her up.
" Last time, me, Luna and Michelle had to scrape her remains off the debris", Scarlett replied.
Storm snorted angrily.
" Thanks, Scarlett. You are so good at helping the problem", Fang responded sarcastically with a grin.
He went to Storm who hugged him immediately. She also grabbed Willa and pulled her closer.
" I don't know if I killed her by letting her go. I don't want my baby girl to die", Storm sobbed and buried her face into Fang's chest.
" You let her go, Storm? You mean that you had a chance to stop her and you didn't?", Fang pulled her face off his chest.
Storm was crying as Fang grinned at her.
" She is our daughter and you let her die, knowing that she would get killed!", he shouted.
Storm looked like a child, being punished by a crazy father.
" I tried but she was so determined that not even mental pain could make her take her scarf off. She threatened to hurt me if I stopped her.
She said that everyone will die unless she goes to her boyfriend", Storm explained in tears.
Fang looked like he would punch Storm. He was a father, scared for his baby.
Scarlett came up behind him and lifted him up like he was air. Fang was thrown to the side and he slid to the wall, not far away.
" Storm Jr. did what she had to do. She is a smart darling and only wants to save everyone", Scarlett said loudly.
Fang stumbled up with fear in his gaze. Scarlett was a powerful Elder and now she demonstrated her might.
" You shall stop scaring your wife and get a hold of yourself", she told Fang.
" Stop it, Scarlett. Let's just go get her with Faith. Leslie is dead and we can't help it. We already went to the factory and it was empty.
We know you want him to be here but he is gone", Foxy told Scarlett.
" Leslie is at the airport, Storm Jr. knows it. Trust a lovely girl to find her boyfriend. As for us, let's prepare for the battle.
Storm Jr. comes back soon and then it is our job to assist Leslie with whatever he needs to do", said Scarlett.
Everyone fell silent and looked down. Scarlett wasn't kidding and she was an Elder after all.
" Do the job and we will survive, friends. Storm Jr. comes if she comes. Now let's get to work!", Scarlett told them one last time.
Farewell: This is interesting and I can smell the upcoming battle. I hope this Act has been amazing.
It is finally at an end. The battle will be coming shortly.
THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE IS TO WRITE.
