Jeremy Stanley hosts a party at his place during school break and everyone including the Cullen's are invited. And Beau experiences for the first time the more wild and beguiling side of Edythe.

Beau POV

"Party at mine, this weekend! Be there, or be a bunch of losers or whatever."

A plain white card was slapped down in front of me as I quietly cleaned off my homework for today and was caught off guard. I glanced at the plain white card with the details printed on it, the obvious quick thinking and rush obvious in its appearance. Jeremy grinned widely down at me, giving a quick thumbs up and throwing more of his invitations to the rest of the students in the classroom, while I appraised the card briefly.

This Saturday at nine at Jeremy's place. I'd been hearing how Jeremy was planning on utilizing his parent's absence to have some fun. Can't say if his parents are aware of it but no doubt, they will be later.

Well, I'll consider it later.

Pocketing the invite in my pocket, I focused on class as the teacher zoomed in and immediately started her spiel for the class today.

Why couldn't I be sparkly as well and just stay home?

I had barely pulled into my driveway when a silver volvo pulled up and my heart stuttered, excitement at seeing Edythe since I haven't seen her today or well yesterday since she went hunting with Jess and Eleanor, taking advantage of the bright, beautiful weather.

Instead, a slight vampire with a short buzz-cut and over-bearing grin skipped out and pointed at me dramatically.

"Yo! Party in the house! Saturday night, my man!"

"Oh God, Archie, really?"

"Hell yeah. You don't think we avoid house parties and such, do you?" Archie questioned, his teasing but a flitter nerves leaving his tone. When I didn't say anything, giving him, an obvious look, he looked further appalled. "Christ, man! I didn't know my reputation was at an all time low. Now I definitely gotta fix that!" Archie grumbled, shaking his head in mock horror as he followed me inside. Charlie was still out at work, leaving the two of us as Archie was muttering to himself.

"You guys go to parties?" I couldn't hide the disbelief at the thought. The Cullen's picture perfect and not the friendliest people for the need to be completely careful. Honestly couldn't see it-well, maybe Eleanor I could. But the rest of them, not really.

Archie scowled, glowering up at the ceiling before turning his gaze to me, a sarcastic smirk crossing his face.

"Well, eternity without ever attending parties does sound a bit, well, boring as fuck." I rolled my eyes and Archie snorts. "Yes, we attend parties and graduation parties and the such. We do actually need to have fun and live our immortal lives a little bit. Not always we do, but a few times. Eleanor, I don't think has ever missed one so I can assure you she is definitely going to be there. She likes to pretend to be drunk and drink people under the table. No one has – technically – beaten her."

"That does not surprise me in the slightest." I pull my work books out of my bag, dropping them on my table with a solid thump. "So, you'll have fun at least. El will be a riot." I kind of joked, but Archie's look had me grimacing and faltering. I did not like that look one bit.

"How do I put it like this," Archie taps his finger against his chin mockingly, staring up at the ceiling as though in thought. "There will be, one, two, three-five of us going. It would be nice to even up the group a little." Archie's subtle look had me shaking my head.

"Edythe going? You sure you not making her?"

Archie blew a breath of air, like a huff, his hands on his hips.

"On the contrary, you'd be surprised at how much Edythe doesn't mind going to the occasional parties or outings in towns. Oh, and by the way, we have fake I.D.'s when we go to towns so we live it up a whole lot more than most of you youngsters."

Edythe? Partying?

I couldn't imagine it. Not that I didn't believe it or didn't believe she could, but it was just the whole family. Having to be careful, left them to being unable to much or interact much. But it didn't surprise me that they could do whatever they wanted in life. And honestly, seeing Edythe going to a school party actually sounded interesting and maybe being the seventeen-year-old teen, hanging with his gorgeous girlfriend wherever possible, maybe…dancing. Edythe had been a bit tense since that whole incident with Joss and since my recovery and it would be nice to see her relax and just have some fun and let loose.

"Perfect." Archie's voice cut through my musings and he was smirking a smug grin. "I knew you'd see it my way." I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling slightly. "Please tell me you've been to a few parties at least?"

"Yes, Archie. I have." Just not been particularly interested or keen at all. "I just have work during the day and then I'll be coming along."

"I know you will, otherwise, contest to the idea of all them horn dogs in our school and other visitors fawning over my sweet, little sister." I glared at Archie who laughed in delight as he left my house.

Edythe POV

"We are spending the entire day just trying to figure out what to wear, really?"

I thought it but Jess sighed heavily as she asked the question and Eleanor glared at us as if the answer was obvious. Archie was on Eleanor's lane. Royal no doubt was prepared, as if he needed help. Archie had no fuss over Royal's clothes majority of the times. Archie was always fussed about his own or mine because to him, my sense of fashion was just plain.

Archie grinned at me from the staircase and I rolled my eyes, following him upstairs where my siblings resided in their bedrooms. Eleanor was taking her time in the shower, her speakers on full blast as she sang aloud to Love Shack.

El was the party-goer in this family, second Jessamine but Jess always tagged along with Archie, liking the atmosphere most of the times and we all tended to have a few tricks and funs up our sleeves for an interesting night. Mostly Jess being able to play on emotions causing some humans to act out in more hilarious ways.

With the spare bathroom, I quickly took my turn in the shower, taking my time, enjoying the rush of water over my chilled skin which slightly heated it up. I was excited, in all honesty. And knowing Beau would be coming along just made it all the more exciting. More, giddy I felt. Like a normal teenage girl going with her boyfriend to a party, where they can dance, kiss, drink and have some much-needed fun.

Sighing heavily, I turned off the shower and stepped out, wrapping myself in a fluffy white towel as I breezed out of the bathroom and to my bedroom. Sitting on the edge of the bed, while I combed through my wet curls, my mind venturing to the last few months. It had been stressful, even for me. Having to be worried about Lauren or Victor, but neither tail or scent had been anywhere and Archie hadn't seen him coming here anytime soon. Archie and Beau were right. I needed to take a break and honestly, I wanted to. I wanted too just be us. Me and Beau and my family, just enjoying our time together.

"Yo, Edy. What have you got planned to wear?" I was already in comfortable shorts and a jumper as Eleanor barged into my room without so much as a may I come in. I rolled my eyes at her impatient manner but couldn't smile. Until she started rummaging through my closet and rumpling up my clothes much to my extreme displeasure. "Nope, nadda, definitely not. Mm, yeah, maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Nope. No. Yes." She pushed clothes aside and threw a few onto my bed while I watched annoyed.

Girl, we really need to get you some new clothes. When did we last go on a shopping spree? I'm totes booking a girl's trip asap. Hunting parties included.

"How about this one-"

"Yes!" Archie shouted from the other room as Eleanor held up a couple of clothing items.

"It's a bit short."

"Stop it." Eleanor muttered, shaking her head. "You're gorgeous, you know it."

"And it's not like something El would be wearing, so don't worry there." Jess laughed while I rolled my eyes. I quickly slipped into the two-piece outfit; a little, black, crop top and a high-waisted, little black, form-fitting skirt. Both pieces fit snugly over my body, the crop top with my bra, allowing a nice formation in my cleavage which had me flustered. The skirt, with its elastic band fit snugly over the curve of my waist and stopped at mid-thigh, showing off a majority of my legs. It was more skin than I am used to most of the times. It showed off an inch or two of my med sections where the two pieces didn't intersect.

"Here, add this." Eleanor zipped off into Jess's room and appeared with a black, sheer top. I quickly placed over my crop top and felt a little better, with most of the coverage of my skin. The black sheer top was slightly looser since Jess was taller than me but still fit just right. The sleeves were form-fitting and had some black lace designs patterned through it and stopped just below the top of my skirt, which I tucked in tightly, allowing it to fit more nicely and more snugly against me.

"Hell yeah, look at this mamcita!" Eleanor whooped, grinning down at me before her expression took on a more serious look. "Beau's gonna have a heart attack and I'll have a camera at the ready for that moment, cause seriously if the guy's jaw doesn't drop and he doesn't say something pathetically cheesy and cliché-"

"We're gonna kill him." Jess chuckled from her room while I glared at El disapprovingly as she laughed. "Nah, kidding."

Maybe.

"Shut up, Arch." I followed Eleanor into Jessamine's room, where she and Archie were mostly ready. Jess was applying some make-up and Archie was doing the buttons on his shirt. "Don't we look hot?" I couldn't help saying and Jess snorted so hard, she left a trail of eye-liner down her jaw, which had her groaning.

Dammit Edy.

"That's my girl! We look fucking fire-truck blaze hot!"

You couldn't help getting delighted by El's enthusiasm.

"Edythe, sit. Gotta do your hair now, because Eleanor will just wreck it."

"Fuck off Jess. It was an accident."

"Leaving the hair-straightener on my hair is not an accident. I will make your hair look like it next time." Jess glared as she pulled me to the chair in front of her vanity and started combing through it, humming quietly as she silently admired Archie's form in the mirror. Jess took her time combing and curling my hair in more, vibrant curls and then once they were all spiralled and curled, she took a comb and thoroughly combed through them, creating deep, wavy curls, which she placed half over my shoulder and the rest down my back.

I was busy doing my eye-liner, mascara and a tiny smidge of foundation and little touch of some light red lipstick.

Royal breezed by, looking hot in a simple black leather jacket with a tight, black shirt under neath and some black jeans and a leather wrist bank around his wrist. Archie, the fashion enthusiast, gave him two thumbs up after a quick survey of him. Archie was dressed in a simple navy blue, buttoned sleeved shirt, a couple buttons open at the top, showing a bit of skin at Jess's bequest, much to his amusement. Some dark jeans and converses which he made look really good.

That was Archie for you.

Once Jess had finished with my hair and quick kiss to her cheek in thanks, I was quickly dashing to my room and rummaging through my closet for my shoes.

Aha! Here you are!

Simple black heels with thick black straps that I wrapped around my ankle and above suited my outfit just perfectly.

I threw myself a quick glance at the mirror, smiling in satisfaction and heard my siblings conversing downstairs.

Beau finished his shift. He's coming here and he'll go with us.

I bite my lip nervously at the thought of seeing Beau. I hadn't seen him much this week due to the very nice weather and Jess and El and I had gone 'hiking'.

The party wouldn't be until full swing until around ten which we were set to go and Beau would get here around nine-thirty. In the meantime, for the next couple hours, we just hung around, each taking our shot on the Xbox until I heard the tell-tale sign of a truck in the far distance.

I tried not to be nervous, but it was almost as if my heart was still pumping and my nerves were acting up.

Edythe, would you relax? Why are you nervous?

I bit my nail as I moved my player on the screen, driving through the streets, easily catching up with Eleanor.

"Would you all make sure you ready before we leave soon. Now our final party has arrived, finally." Archie muttered as he opened the door.

"Gee, thanks Archie, I feel so welcome."

"Don't push it kid."

Beau POV

Archie looked pretty damn good and that brought my insecurities rising.

Christ, how was I gonna compare to them? I'll stand out like a sad, sore thumb.

"Now, that's what I am talking about. Edythe's gonna love the look alright. Hell, I would date you if I swung that way."

"Dude," I blushed but rolled my eyes, as Archie laughed leading me into the house. I could the other Cullen's moving around and Edythe huffing as she called to Archie. The other four siblings were hanging around in the living room, Royal watching the news, looking like a bad-biker boy on the sofa and gave me a slight nod. Jess already quite tall, but shorter than Archie, towered over him in her black high-heeled boots. She wore a skin-tight, black pants and a tight, long sleeved black shirt tucked tightly under her pants, looking like just one whole outfit. A black belt with a gold buckle wrapped around her pants. The neckline of her shirt was curved, a lengthy silver chain necklace and a black choker with a diamond piece draped around her neck. Her long, honey blonde hair was straightened and half up in a bun.

She looked someone who could off business and classy party night in just one look.

While Jess was fussing around with her belt, Eleanor skipped over to me, and I grunted as she clapped me over the back, ignoring Edythe's hiss of her name.

"Bo-Bo, how's it going short-stuff? We gonna see you breaking the law and drinking? If you want, I'll help you get away with it – especially with Edythe around." I couldn't help laughing and a pillow hit Eleanor's face which had her gasping in horror. "Edythe, really man?" Edythe laughed at her from where she was fixing Jess's belt from behind her.

"Eleanor, I have to say, that's an interesting choice of clothes to wear." I couldn't stop the faint smile on my face and El only grinned smugly.

"I do it for the benefit of my one and only, so he knows what he can look forward to later." Eleanor looked over her shoulder where Royal shook his head at her but El only grinned, winking and blew him a kiss. Eleanor was wearing a The Rocky Horror Picture Show white-shirt with the big red lips design on it. It was bundled up from the hem, tied up just below her upper rib-cage, showing off a lot of skin and a short, biker black skirt that just barely touched her mid-thighs. Along with some fishnet stockings and black-heeled ankle boots, she looked some mix of biker and school-girl.

Oh lord, it's definitely not hard to figure out the fetishes you get from them just like that.

I shuddered, trying to rid myself of the images.

"Maybe I should tell Beau what your nickname is?" Eleanor grinned wickedly and Edythe, finished with Jess stepped in sight, hands on her hips as she glared at her sister.

"Don't you dare!" Edythe growled, her eyes glowing molten gold.

"What nickname?" I questioned, barely able to take my eyes of Edythe as I stuttered. "Um, actually, scratch that. Um, Edythe, you look…wow!" Edythe, appearing taken aback, smiled bashfully, fidgeting in place until El loped over.

"You are so right Beau." El winked at me cheekily. "Doesn't Edy look hot?" I grinned, my heart thumping at the sight of her soft, shy smile.

"Definitely. But I'd lean toward more stunning and beautiful."

"Stop it." Edythe murmured but smiled pleasantly as she skipped over to me. The black of her outfit contrasted starkly against her and made her hair look more metallic copper. It was more skin I'd seen on Edythe and it was different. A nice difference but honestly, if Edythe chose to wear a trash bag tonight, I'd still be dazzled without a doubt. Her hair looked wavier with curls at the ends, her eyes glowed brightly and her legs looked so much longer than usual especially in those heels. I groaned inwardly.

Damn, I won't be forgetting those heels.

"Well, I think we ready to go." Archie was suddenly grabbing Edy and me before I could say hi to her, and steering us towards the garage. "Time to go my children. A party awaits us."

The drive to Jeremy's place was filled with music and Eleanor practically bouncing on her seat. I sat in the back with Edythe, Jess and Royal, breaking all kinds of laws with Edythe curled on my lap which had her laughing and Archie and Eleanor had the front.

The party was full on once we pulled up on the street behind several cars and the music blasted from inside the house. People were milling about outside the house or going inside, plastic cups in hand. Edythe walked ahead of me and I couldn't help admiring her outfit even more.

Christ, those heels.

There were many unfamiliar faces along with an equal number of familiar faces in the crowd. The music grew louder as we ventured inside, Edythe gripping my hand as she led me inside. She was quite excited I noticed, and honestly it made me excited and just plain happy to see her relaxed and happy.

"Yo, Beau! You made it!" Jeremy boomed from the kitchen, a drink in hand as he shouldered his way to me, giving me a clap on the back. "You brought the entire squad with ya."

"Obviously," Edythe snickered before throwing a polite smile at Jeremy.

"Thanks for having us Jeremy." Was all Edythe said and the guy's glazed drunk look had me growing irritated but Edythe was already moving on, pulled away by Jess and Eleanor, while I watched stunned. Edythe threw me an apologetic look my way but I honestly couldn't be too mad.

I was left listening to Jeremy and some his work-friends conversation about some basketball game, I did not know but tried to listen and be in tuned. Really, all I wanted was to find Edythe and see what she was up too.

"Yo, who's that cute girl with the red hair?"

"That's Edythe Cullen. Pretty hot right."

"Absolutely." I glared at the floor, shaking my head until Jeremy smacked my back, making me spill a little of my drink.

"And my man, Beau here, is dating her."

"Damn, you lucky dog man."

"How did you tap that?"

"I wonder that too." Jeremy grinned widely and I rolled my eyes and quickly left the group, under the guise of finding the bathroom. Wandering through the crowd, briefly stopping for a few conversations until I heard some loud cheering from the dance room and looking over the banister, I almost dropped my drink at what I saw.

Edythe was in the middle of the floor with Jess and El and they were dancing in sync together, earning quite a few eyes on them and I couldn't blame them. They moved smoothly, easily and the way Edythe moved had my heart in a stutter. Watching the way Edythe move, sensually, hips swaying to the beat of the music, her body following and rolling along with the beat, her hair swaying rhythmically. She threw her hands up in the air, throwing her head back, eyes closed and my heart tightened and without a second thought, I was hurrying my way through the crowd, still keeping my gaze when I could on Edythe until I reached the stairs.

I almost jumped two steps at a time but I was determined to not miss this. The dancing crowd was in full swing and I struggled to shimmy through until I reached the middle of the floor and faltered.

Edythe had her back to me, her body moving sensually like a snake, hair following gracefully, glinted in the dim lights, brushing against her lower back and my hands twitched, eager to run through her silky locks of hair. She had her hands up and then in her hair as she moved, slowly turning to face me, eyes partially closed as she sang along to the song.

Damn you, my heart is killing me here.

She wasn't expecting me to approach her further but she sunk into my arms and my heart thundered in my chest. She had her back against my front as I wrapped my arms around her waist, keeping her close as we swayed to the beat casually, easily. I lowered my head, so my cheek rested against the side of her neck.

I wasn't expecting her to move.

She started moving against me and my heart practically stopped for a second at the sudden movements. Her hips moved side to side, her body following along gracefully, sexy.

"Damn you." I grumbled and Edythe laughed quietly, turning around in my arms but kept a hold on my hands while I groaned at the loss of contact, though I probably should be relieved. My reaction to her dancing might make itself more known than I would like in too obvious a manner. She was still dancing, feet stepping in time as she spun around under my arm, which had me laughing. I pulled her in, dipping her backwards as far as I could bend her before pulling her back up, hair flying around her face. Her eyes sparkled with joy and happiness and my heart constricted.

I'd do anything to make you happy.

Her eyes on mine, her hands rested lightly against my arm and chest, my hand on her hips her body pulled in close, her cool breath fanning my face, the lights, the movement, the people all around us faded to the background. The music thumping, echoing inside my chest and my lips on hers, we moved instinctively towards each other, deeper and closer. I clung to her and I felt her arms encircle the back of my neck, her clinging of desperation and I never wanted this to end. I pulled back slightly, a faint smile on my face as I looked at her, her eyes still closed, head still tilted up towards me and I couldn't help it. I gripped her face with my hands and kissed her hard, our lips moving together, our breaths shallow and I groaned as my hands dove into her hair and I felt her breath stutter.

We fell into a rhythm of music and our bodies dancing and I kissed her too many times to count and I wouldn't stop if I could help it.

I couldn't count time or how long we stood, swaying and kissing each other when I heard the distant chants that broke through my peace.

"What is that?" I groan, pulling away slightly, kissing Edythe's jawline and forehead while she giggled.

"Eleanor is challenging a couple of college kids to a drinking contest."

"She's gonna make them lose a liver."

"I know." Edythe sighed, shaking her head. "But Jess will find a better alternative before they poison themselves further with alcohol."

The cheering grew louder, people chanting and I shook my head in exasperation, glancing to where the crowd was gathered.

"So, what was Eleanor saying before?" Edythe glanced at me confused and I raised my brow at her as I asked her. "What's your nickname?" Her face immediately went slack and I knew without a doubt if she were human, she'd be blushing, which made my curiosity grow. "What is it?"

"I have no clue what you mean." She casually looked away, and I couldn't help laughing and pulled her in close.

"That's okay." I kissed the top of her head. "I'll ask El later."

I laughed loudly when Edythe smacked my chest, groaning in disbelief and I hurried after her.

Edythe POV

I listened to Beau waking up from my bedroom upstairs while I was sat around the living room with my siblings playing a game of UNO.

With a heavy groan, Beau trampled down the stairs, eyes bleary, looking deliciously rumpled in his pjs, his hair sticking up like a crazy mess and I couldn't help sniggering in my hands.

"I know, I know. I look so well put together." Beau rolled his eyes, pulling food out of the fridge while we snickered in amusement. "You keep teasing me like this, I will too, Sex-Ed."

"Wha-ELEANOR!" Eleanor was already gone before I finished screaming her name and I ran after her, ignoring everyone laughing hysterically behind me.

It is on Beau Swan. It is on.
