Will explored the landscape of the area that they called home over the next few days as Robot set up a tent alongside the Jupiter 2. The young boy traveled through the area admiring the terrain and the nicely spliced variation of their worlds co-existing together. He folded his arms with a smile then watched as a large bird came flying down his way that was twice the size of a bald eagle. Will stared in shock as he were stunned at the creature headed his way.

"Will!"

A cackle of electricity flew up toward the bird as Will went up toward the tent and hid underneath the table.

"BACK, I say! Back!"

Robot electrocuted the creature as it swooped over the Jupiter 2 back and forth.

"BACK!"

With one final discharge, the prehistoric bird flew off with a loud noisy kaw.

"It is safe, Will."

Will got up to his feet once crawling out from beneath the table.

"It is gone?" Will asked.

"Affirmative." Robot replied. "It has gone to hunt in a different area for prey."

"We should seek for some abandoned ship and try to replace the hull to get off this planet right away." Will said.

"Will, do you have any idea how much fuel that we have left over?"

"What? You don't use nuclear materials?"

"It is nuclear materials. . . But, it is called deutronium."

"Oh, you mean Deuterium?"

"Negative. We must be very careful." Robot ejected a arm then gestured in to the Jupiter 2. "Come inside, you are unarmed."

"Do you have weapons for these sort of things?" Will asked as he joined the machine into the ship.

"Affirmative." Robot said. "Remain here."

"Okay."

Will looked out the window of the Jupiter 2 standing out observing the scenery. He listened to the grating sound of the elevator go down below him then stared out the scenery as it became more harsh of his new found reality. Being around his family and the one person that he hated with his entire being seemed pretty petty compared to being with a machine that looked so out of place, so simple, so kind, in a genuine saucer overlooking the area that the ship had crash landed upon.

He wondered about his future. Robot was quietly becoming his mother in some sense being over protective of him, concerned about his well being, and giving orders to remain in one place while he did the dangerous work. Danger was always going to follow him as was Death in the field of space. But now? What was it that plagued him as the thought of death? That was loneliness and misery being away from family forever. Will wondered, how long has my counterpart been without my family?

He had thought multiple times that the woman who had thrown away their opportunity to reach the Resolute or to their promised planet could kill them all without any moments short notice while adjusting the sails of the ship from above, sending them falling one by one when they least expected it, airlock them while she survived in a spacesuit and plotted her way to be taken to Alpha Centauri as they died from hypothermia, lack of oxygen, or drowning by the harsh waves that challenged was the most frightening woman that he hated with every fiber of his being.

"Will, this is your laser pistol." Robot's voice drew Will out of his train of thought.

Will shifted his attention up.

"Huh?" Will said.

Robot handed him the laser pistol belt.

"This is a big responsibility to hold and to cherish with your life."

"Wow, it looks so old." Will looked up. "Oh, I am sorry." He winced. "That must hurt."

"Nor as much as it does for you." Robot's helm twirled. "Time is passing in the probable reality that you come from." Robot whirred aside looking toward the bridge of the Jupiter 2 quite sadly. "It may take twenty years before another Lost in Space reboot can be made that brings a new world where we go home."

"Or a cartoon," Will interjected.

"Affirmative." Robot bobbed his helm down.

"No, Robot, make that ten years." Will said.

"This does not compute."

"Robot, where I am from there are places like twitter, tumblr, and petition websites where people who like our stories go to lobby for other people to watch it and make content that encourages them to watch it despite how bad, how good, how different they both are. Surely, those places exist and make our worlds exist."

"What is a website?"

"Robot, let's go under the tent. I have a lot of explaining to do."

Within the hours following the conclusion of the advancement of technology, Robot felt obsolete. It felt to have been a complete one hundred years since he had been thought up as a member to the Robinson crew. Robot couldn't be exactly sure how long it had been in the world that the two had vanished abruptly as the duo had in the first reality. Now, Robot looked out the window in silence as Will used the space telescope to determine which part of the land was the safest to go explore keeping his eyes out for the large birds.

How long would it be when another Will would appear and this Will would disappear? How long before he would only hear a mention of what happened to the Wills by the third Will and hear his voice by a simple comn as that of being older than how he had remembered and Robot would remain in the Jupiter 2 as would the older man unharmed by any of the events that had transpired. It would only get sadder, bleaker, and depressing with relics of what had once been being lost in space quite forever.

Robot's upper half twirled as his processors dealt with the issue at hand. It was a perplexing issue that needed to be solved and amended so the boy won't be displaced once more quite abruptly. The boy had time and hope on his side with a determination to reach his family as did his Will and that was what separated him from the boy in the first place and left him alone with Doctor Smith in a freezing tube. That all would lead Robot to the situation that his processors had just reported to him.

Robot was torn.

Wake up the old man himself and it would be even more depressing of four years seeing Wills come and go until the day that he died.

Robot went to the other side of the bridge then generated a handkerchief and blew his bubble into it.

For now, with little aid to make sure Smith lived a long life trying to get home with the Jupiter 2 him, Robot had to be satisfied with aiding a boy getting home.

Maybe this time he will be successful.
