As much as she wanted to escape the damn place, Bea's soul would forever be connected to Wentworth. At least now she was able to float between the stone cold walls and the...other place. Heaven? She wasn't sure what to call it. Bea wasn't religious, but she did know that she liked it there and Deb was there. The connection keeping her on Earth? Her DJ Allie Cat.

It had taken Bea a while to discover her ability to move back and forth. It was explained to her by Debbie the first time they'd gotten to talk together. Funny enough, the only place Debbie had been able to move to was also the prison because of her mom. Once she'd passed, she had no connection to her father. There was too much hatred for her to want to watch over him, so, she simply hadn't.

The first time Bea went back, she felt an overwhelming urgency to go somewhere. It was hard to describe, but it started in her chest and slowly moved down to her stomach, and, before she knew it, she had closed her eyes in one place and opened them in the corner of her old cell. On the bed sat a blonde figure, bruised from her hospital stay but still as beautiful as ever. Of course, Bea wasn't sure how this whole being dead thing worked, so she had to try the troup of calling her.
"Hello?" she said, her voice slightly raised as if that would somehow make her flinch and look up. "Allie? Allie, can you…." she trailed off, stopping herself mid sentence. The blonde stayed in the same position, Bea's old blanket being run through her hands as she stared at it blankly. That was her answer.

Slowly, Bea made her way over and sat on the metal slab the prisoners called a bed. Her hand sat on Allie's knee….A pause….And nothing. Bea still wasn't able to elicit a reaction from the girl. She closed her eyes, considering going back for a moment, but there were still so many things Bea wanted to tell her. And, fuck, she had no idea how she'd even gotten here in the first place, so she might as well make it last.

She cleared her throat (which really didn't serve a purpose given the circumstances).

"Well," she started before tucking her hands into her lap, "I did tell you to wait for me. I guess I just didn't mean for you to wait another eighty years before I saw you again." A failed attempt at humor. Bea took a breath and turned to face her.

"I'm okay...And I'm really happy here. I know that probably sounds selfish, and I would be so much happier if you were here, but Debbie's with me. My girl, remember her? She's stunning. She doesn't look tired or sick. She just looks like Deb. The way that I remembered her. So smart, and still the caring girl I knew her to be...She looks after me and makes sure that I don't do stupid shit. Not that there's a lot of that to do around here, but she still keeps me on my toes."
Bea readjusted and took a moment.

"I feel better here too. Remember those grey hairs you teased me about? Can't find a single one. And...I don't have my scars anymore. It took me a while to notice, but I went to change one day and," she paused, "I realized that you weren't there to catch me with my pants down. And, when I looked down, it was smooth. It took me back to the night when you were tending to them. I miss your gentle touch."

"It's really warm here. There's a beach not far down from where Deb and I live (what an ironic word, she thought). The water is always so clear, and the critters are pretty friendly too. Apparently animals do have an afterlife." Bea noticed Allie starting to fumble more with the blanket. A single tear rolled down Allie's face and caught right on her jaw line.

"There are seahorses too….And they do hook their tails. To be honest, for a while I really thought that was just some bullshit you made up to look cute. Turns out it worked and it was true. I named one after you. She comes by just before sunset each night, and she's also clumsy as all fuck. I watched her ram her head into a rock the other day, and I swear if that isn't you as an animal...But she's also beautiful and lovely...Just like you."

"Debbie says that she's excited to meet you. I was going to ask her how we know you'll come, and then I thought, fuck...I've murdered two people and still somehow made it. I think you'll be fine. I tell her about you a lot. Ya know, she mentioned one of the reasons I was so hell bent on getting you off gear was because I couldn't do the same for her. I reckon she had a point with that. Especially once I fell for you. I couldn't let you do it anymore...And you better keep that promise, Allie. I swear to God if I find out you're back on it, I will come back down and kick you ass myself-" Bea pursed her lips for a second and then continued, "My death isn't worth falling back into that….We'll see each other again someday."

The tears had broken through the dams that were her eyes and were now flooding, full force, down her face. It broke Bea's heart to see her like this, but Allie was quick to bury her face into the red blanket. Bea continued.

"Allie...I want you to promise me something. Take your time? Get the fuck out of this place and take your time coming to me. I want you to find someone who loves you as much as I do. I want you to find someone who is going to take care of you and keep you out of here. Do you hear me?" Bea closed her eyes, "And when you think to yourself, 'Would Bea be okay with this?' I want you to remember that I'm not here anymore. I want you to be happy, Allie. I want you to grow old and be in love and be taken care of. I want you to know that I support anything that makes you happy...Even if it means you lose your heart to another woman. I'll steal it back one day...But until then, I want you to live your life to the fullest and never look back on this place, alright?"

Bea paused, as if to wait for a response that she knew was impossible to come to her. She reached over and wrapped her arms around the girl before pulling back and setting a hand right on top of Allie's. Bea slowly traced a very poor outline of a seahorse over the back of her hand, and, when she was finished, she felt a type of warmth hit her. She leaned into the feeling, closing her eyes and just existing for a moment before feeling Allie readjust so her face was no longer in the blanket, but focused on the spot of Bea's outline. She felt another burst of energy hit her, and, somehow, she knew that it was time to go back to Debbie.
"I love you, beautiful girl...Wait for me."
