Hi people... This is terrible, but I promised poseidonsdaughter1987, and I don't want to fail them. I'm tired, but this chapter is important, so here goes.

DISCLAIMER:
Lemme go check and see if I own Percy Jackson... Oh wait, I don't.

I breathed in the fresh scent of chlorine and sweat. Yeah, you heard me right, I was at State. We were going to beat Tellershey, and then I would be captain, and Annabeth would kiss me! For the second time since we had been dating! I had already seen her in the stands and she smiled at me. I mean, I assumed it was at me, because the only person behind or in front of me was Percy, and who would smile at that loser? Plus, I am her boyfriend.

The races were easy peasy. I saw a familiar lady talking to my mom, but I couldn't place where she was from. Obviously, we won. I saw Annabeth coming over to congratulate me, and I went over to meet her.

"Hey Annabeth!" I said to her. "Happy we won, huh?" She looked confused.

"Max?" She said. "What are you doing here?"

"Um… I'm going to Goode now?" I responded. What was she doing? It was like she was trying to get away.

"Well, this is for trying to kiss me," She said, slapping me. Hard. You thought girls were supposed to be weak? Well, Annabeth was the opposite of weak. Strong.

"OUCH!" I screamed. "What was that for? I thought we were dating!" I couldn't understand what her problem was!

"Well," She said, her face hard. "You thought wrong," Just then, Percy came over.

"Oh hey, Max," He said, putting an arm around Annabeth. "You've met Annabeth?" I knew I had to get Annabeth away from this creep, no matter whether she thought I was her girlfriend or not.

"Percy," I said to him, "Get your hands off her. She's taken." Percy smirked.

"Yeah, by me." He said. I knew what I had to do, no matter if Annabeth liked me or not. She would be all over me by the time this played out. I grabbed him. "Whoa man, what's your problem?" This creep thought he was Annabeth's girlfriend? What was wrong with him? Then things started getting weird. Percy pulled out a stick, and said, "Did you really think you could do that?" He asked. I was seriously confused at this point, especially when he started trying to stab me. Of course, I dodged him, but it didn't seem like he was trying very hard. During this, Annabeth was just standing around, snickering, only interfering when Percy actually managed to impale me. The weird thing was, it went right through me.

"Okay, I think we've seen enough, Percy." Annabeth said. "He's mortal." I had no idea what she was talking about. Of course I was mortal! What else would I be, a vampire? "Hazel, we need your help." Whoah. Suddenly there was a girl, standing there. Where did she come from? Or was she always there… I fell into a dreamless sleep.

When I came around, I was back in my apartment. The memories I had were different. I had gone to State, Annabeth dumped me, and Percy was sick. Nothing else was different, but I knew there was something wrong. Then I realized. Percy Jackson was the captain of the swim team when Gershwin-Mellendorf had been beaten! That was the first time we'd lost in eleven years, and I didn't know what this had to do with, well, anything, but I just knew it was important. I fell asleep again.

"Max!" My mom called. "Breakfast!" I rolled out of bed, changed, and walked to the kitchen. I had a quick breakfast of well, it doesn't really matter, and took the subway to school. I didn't say a word about last night during any of this. Things were quiet at school. At least… until Science.

Cliffhanger! Yeah! I promise I will make longer chapters, but I literally only had two hours to write this. Hope it was okay, at least, because I don't deserve all your kindness. Also, I just want to say one thing: I may write cliche things and make cliche mistakes, (Last chapter, anyone?) but I'm not a cliche person. I am my own person, because that's the best thing to be.

Reviews!:

blackthornfam13: Thanks, but you were actually reviewing to the wrong story... (LOL I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE EVERYONE)

HoO Storys: Ummm, no, that was not actually part of the story. That was a mistake, just want to clear that up, and Maxabeth isn't a thing anymore, or ever.

Guest: Nothing. I'm sorry for making that serious mistake.

Guest: I don't think I'm going to do any other POVs, but I think I'll definitely add some of the other demigods.

TheActualRealOne: I love Max's character too! He doesn't know about Percabeth yet, but he will soon...

That's what I have today! I hoped it was decent so you keep reading and reviewing, because if you do that I'll update sooner out of guilt. I PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE longer and better chapters soon.

Bye.
