People, people, people. I'm so sorry! Last week was my last week of school, and I was kind of busy. On top of that, I was not super inspired by anything. Anyways, here's the next chapter!

Reviews, Part One:

Guest: I have no idea what you're talking about, please explain maybe?

DaughterofAthena375: Haha, yeah.

Booklover: Hi! You got an account and stuff! I hope this chapter lives up to your expectations!

SeaMaster: Thanks! Bye!

Phoenix3174/NeosHelios: Well, Duh! (Max is my favorite idiot, btw. He's so determined to crush Percy though!)

Silversky247: ...I review your story better. (It's a thing, don't judge, you guys.)

DamaSENDhimafriend/Guest: That is very true. I feel bad for everyone who comes in contact with him...

Athena or Hermes: Thanks! I hate Max too! And, no, I don't have an updating schedule right now.

DISCLAIMER:

Percy Jackson is owned by Rick Riordan. My name is not Rick Riordan.

Yeah. I got kicked off the swim team. Because of some stupid thing Percy had forced me to do, I got kicked off the swim team. The swim team wasn't even the problem, surprisingly. It was that everyone was giving me the cold shoulder for something that wasn't even my fault! Whatever. I could get back on the swim team in no time. Now it was time for me to rock in Ancient Cultures. I had heard we were learning about Rome, and I am practically fluent in Latin. I walked down the hall to Ancient Cultures, thinking about Percy's face when he saw how I rocked his favorite class.

"Mr. Vestron." The teacher, Mrs. Bell said, "You finally decided to show up early for once." She looked at me dubiously, and I managed a weak smile back.

"Yep!" I said cheerfully, "I'm so ready to learn about Rome!"

"If you say so." She said suspiciously. The rest of the class filed in, including that Dobby guy and Percy. I have to admit, I was surprised that Percy showed up on time. He usually came in ten minutes late and out of breath.

"Sorry I'm late." Alex came rushing in ten minutes late and out of breath? What? That was Percy's job! Mrs. Bell glared at her, but when Alex said something like,

"There were some things I needed to take care of," Mrs. Bell simply told her to sit down, and the lesson began.

"Who can tell me where Rome is?" I snorted. Who did she think I was? Some third grader in need of extra help? Well, no. I raised my hand, expecting to be called on. "Yes, Max?" She asked. I smiled at her and recited my answer.

"Present-day Italy." I said. Mrs. Bell nodded and asked another question.

"What gods, if any, did the Romans worship?" This was too easy. I raised my hand high in the air. "Yes, Key?"

"The Olympians." Mrs. Bell nodded again.

"Yes. That is correct. In this unit we will be learning about the twelve Olympians, as well as a few of the more minor gods." I would totally rock this unit. I was a god (Ha, get it?) at Mythology. "First, I want everyone to find a partner and choose two gods to research out of your books. Next Wednesday we will share what we have found out about our chosen gods and goddesses." Everyone began looking around the room, silently making plans for partners. "Don't worry about not having a partner, because I have chosen them already." At this, we all groaned, even me. She began listing off partners, and my heart was pounding. When she finally got to me, I squeezed my eyes shut and crossed my fingers. "Max Vestron and Percy Jackson." Ugh. No.

"Let's get going," I said, walking over to my partner's desk. He looked up from whatever he was doing and smiled a lopsided smile.

"Yeah. You have an opinion on what gods we choose?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. Of course I had an opinion!

"Can we do Apollo and Diana?" I asked. "They're siblings, and their duties go hand in hand with each other." Percy nodded, debating what to say.

"Sure. They're cool." He said, then laughed. "Not Apollo, though. He's um… warm." I sighed. This was going to be a long week.

"Let's get started, then."

After school, Percy and I went to my apartment to work on our project. Luckily, my mother was working late that day, so I could casually interrogate him as much as I wanted.

"So, Percy." I asked him. "What do you do in your free time?"

"Um, I hang out with my girlfriend and friends, eat food, swim." He answered. "What about you?" Oh no. I wasn't prepared for this question. He didn't know it, but he had just turned the tables on me. I was terrible at lying, so I just went for elusive.

"You know, normal non-shady teenager stuff." I shrugged. It wasn't technically a lie. The work I was doing on Percy was for the good of the world, so I supposed it was perfectly fine. We got to work on our project about Apollo and Diana, and thanks to me and my amazing mythology skills, I'm pretty sure we aced it. We nearly finished it that day, and so I suggested we go to Percy's apartment the next time we worked on it.

"Sure. We can go to my place." He said. Ah, Percy, so gullible. "Can we do it Friday after swim practice?" I was about to nod, but then realized something. I wasn't on the team anymore!

"Yeah, but I'm not doing swim anymore, and I don't want to wait." Percy's face fell.

"What about uh, Saturday?" He suggested instead. "Two o'clock?" That worked for me, so I said so.

I started a journal that night. It was mostly about Percy and his known exploits, but there was a little bit about Alex, and the possible connections she and Percy might have. Later, I googled him. Surprisingly, he was pretty famous in the internet world. He even had his own Wiki page!

I found out that when he was twelve, he was the victim of a kidnapping spree, along with two other people, a guy that looked way over twelve, and a girl with blonde hair that looked sort of like Annabeth. Wait a second. Annabeth? I looked closer at the picture. Nah, that wasn't Annabeth. She didn't live in New York at the time, right? I knew she had lived in California and Virginia before coming to Germell, but not New York. Apparently there was another guy that disappeared shortly after, and was Percy's stepdad, Gabe Ugliano. Honestly, it's creepy how much you can learn from the internet.

The next year, Percy blew up a gym, harming many kids in his class. The gym teacher was irresponsible, letting some other kid do what he wanted, but I didn't buy that. There were too many incidents with Percy involved that I knew he had to be a delinquent or something. There were so many incidents, I stopped keeping track of them, instead bookmarking the page they were on so I could use it as evidence.

Next, I checked out his Wiki page. It said that he was innocent of everything that ever happened to him, but most people were still unsure. I changed that. Now it said that he was guilty of everything that happened to him, and everyone knew that and was sure. Just a little change, right? I scrolled down to the bottom, to the related section. There was some weird thing about something that sounded like a cult, and that seemed like a Percy thing, so I read the page.

CAMP HALF-BLOOD

The group of people who worship gods call themselves demigods. They throw food in the fire as an offering of their faith, and the gods in turn protect them from harm. The "demigods" go on "quests" for the gods they worship, and must be given a prophecy to do so. Many of the members die before they become adults, and the others burn shrouds in their honor, while chanting ζήσω τους θεούς (long live the gods), in an unknown language. The gods they worship are unclear, as no one has ever discovered where they spend their days. What we know has been observed from afar, and it is unclear why they do this or if they think the gods will respond. It is obvious that they think they have mass power, and they also think they are also always in danger. One of the known members is Percy Jackson, and he has been spotted with a lady identified as Annabeth Chase, along with a male named Magnus Chase.

That was pretty sketchy, and terribly written, but everything suddenly made sense. If this club or whatever was real, then Percy was definitely part of it. But why would they mention Annabeth? That was definitely my Annabeth, the one that had to take a break with me a few months ago, but she was definitely not part of a cult, especially this one.

Meh. That was one of my better chapters, I feel like. By the way, we're almost at a hundred reviews! (I don't really know why I care...)

Reviews Part Two:

blackthornfam: Max is just overly dramatic, I feel like this chapter will help explain better.

faegrace: Agreed. Max is my favorite OC though. He's just so... I don't know!

123Thomas123: Thank you! I'm curious how it's going to end too!

TheActualRealOne: I think I might add that! Hope you liked the chapter!

Blackthornfam13: Thanks so much! I will keep writing snazzy stuff!

IAmTheUltimateFangirl: *Frowny face* I'm so sorry! I will try to keep up with writing new chapters!

your sanity: I DID! I DID! I DID!

iloveyourstory: Thanks! I didn't go on a break from fanfiction but... I just didn't feel like writing. Hope you understand! I think I probably will update more often, maybe? You weren't harsh for me, and I don't get upset easily.

As always, I'm so sorry for updating late, and I hope you enjoyed!

Bye people,
